...CONTINUED WORLD 8 - DRAGONSKULLE TOWN ROOFTOP RAMPAGE Creatures: Wizard, Phoenix, Bloater Technique: When the level starts you�ll notice a small shadow moving towards you; this a Yooseeme, which is invisible when you�re on the ground, so begin by jumping over it and running to the end of the platform. Past the small gap is a group of barrels, so use you Wizard just behind the first and when he fires at them, jump down and follow the beam to make sure it destroys all of your foes, collecting the body armour mid-way. Jump up to the next platform to find a Swell, which can simply but jumped over as it won�t have had time to grow, and then continue to jump over the Hoverconkers ahead, but keep moving as in between each one if a Burrower. When you�ve passed them all, keep running to the right, jumping over any gaps in between houses, until you reach two Mortars firing your way; quickly use your Phoenix to become temporarily invincible and run through the Mortars, and continue to jump over the flaming barrels while your Phoenix is still active. Once past the barrels, you�ll notice that just up above you is a platform with a group of Yooseemes on it, so use your final creature, Bloater, to float up and past them, and then when you reach the pile of Blockers, drop on top of them before hopping down, jumping through the Drippers ahead (your body armour will protect you) and reaching your prize. TEMPLE PLAINS Creatures: Serpent (x2) Technique: Begin by jumping over the two barrels and Yooseeme in front of you, and keep going right to find a Globule. As it starts to move towards you, jump over it and collect the body armour, before jumping back towards it so it grabs you mid-air. Now hold right as it drags you up past a platform with a Frosty on it, timing your jump into the Globule right is vital otherwise Frosty will hit you with one of his attacks as you make your way up. When you and Globule reaches the top of the screen, he�ll plunge you down and remove your body armour, so make sure you�re above the platform with Frosty on it. When you land, the Frosty will throw a projectile at you, so jump over it and as he move closer to you, jump over him and onto a platform with an Oily on it, before quickly jumping again onto the next platform, this time with a barrel on it. The next platform along also has a flaming barrel on it, so wait until the one nearest to you extinguishes its flames then jump on top of it and over the next one, before jumping right again and landing just to the left of a Bouncer. Wait until, on the platform to your right, the Whirlwind there begins to move away from you, then jump over the Bouncer and over the Whirlwind when you get to it, before jumping down to the next platform when you reach it. You�ll now see a set of steps with flaming barrels on each one, so instead of trying to make it down there, use your first Serpent to the right of the first (so you can just reach it if you jump from on top of the barrel) and then jump onto it, before using your second one right near the next platform. Then simply jump onto the next Serpent, onto the final platform and to the Wulf�s lair. This is a tough level, so you�ll need to practice a fair bit to even get Gold. CLUSTER KEEP Creatures: Wizard (x2), Serpent (x2) Technique: When the level starts run to the right and stop when you get to some steps with a Cluster on top of them. Wait for it to move away from you then quickly run up and jump onto the platform just above, before jumping to the right onto another platform and then jumping right again from the very edge of the platform you�re on in order to reach a Swell. As soon as you land, jump over the Swell before it grows too much, then run to the right and drop down to the ground and a Leggy Bomb will begin to chase you. Jump straight up in the air so it goes running past you and hits into the nearby barrel, before using a Wizard just in front of you and following its fire to make sure it destroys everything ahead. Keep running and you�ll find a Leggy Bomb, which you should just jump over and then quickly use your first Serpent near the wall. Jump up onto the Serpent and then when the Cluster moves away from you, jump up onto the platform ahead, before jumping over the Cluster onto a wooden platform, then back down onto the same platform, then down again to ground. Ahead of you are patrolling Yooseemes, so dash to your right and jump over them when they get close. Keep going, jump over a gap and when you get to a pile of Blockers, use you remaining Wizard just in front of you and just as his fire hits, run through the now-destroyed Blockers to your reward, which should well be an R rating. FACTORY FURNACE Boomer (x2), Bloater (x2) Technique: As you start, select your first Boomer and drop it above the Cluster ahead, before jumping onto the platform he was on. To the right of you is a Yooseeme and another Cluster, so use your remaining Boomer on the Cluster and jump over the Yooseeme to where the Cluster previously was. Now use your first Bloater to carry yourself past the Swell, 2 Boostaconkers and keep going until you can land on the platform with the second Scorch on, at which point you should press A to drop down, jump over the Scorch and then over the gap to the right with a Boostaconker in between it. You�ll land on some Oily�s, so as soon as you land, jump off and proceed right. A Leggy Bomb will start running at you, so jump straight up in the air, and then again when it changes direction and begin to follow it. It�ll soon crash into another Leggy Bomb leaving the path clear for you, so keep running down under the Hoverconkers, and over yet another Leggy Bomb. When the reach the bottom, wait the final bomb to run at you, jump over and walk just past the last Hoverconker. There�s a Globule in front of you, so use your Bloater to float above it and it�ll start to follow you. Keep going right, past a Yooseeme and you�ll see the end, wait until the Bloater quickly moves right, then drop down and claim your prize. BLIND ALLEY Creatures: Mysti , Wizard, Blubba (x2) Technique: As you start, jump over the Spike up ahead and jump off the very edge of the roof you�re on to land past the Cluster below. Drop down the gap in the roof onto a wooden platform, then drop down again (holding right to avoid an Oily) and jump over the Splitter onto the nearest wooden platform to your right. Jump up again, and then to you right once more so you land just left of the bomb, before hopping up onto the roof. Wait until the Whirlwind to your right moves away from you, then jump over the barrel and follow the Whirlwind until he moves towards you again, at which point you should jump over him. The next platform has two Yooseemes on it, with two Spikes in between them, so wait for the first Yooseeme to move to the right, jump up and over it, then when the other moves to the right as well, jump over the Spikes and over your foe, trying to land as close as you can to the edge of the roof. Above you you�ll see Mortar fire, so use your Mysti to block it, then jump up and drop down the hole onto a platform to see a Cluster just below you; if it�s just started moving to the right, run behind it, otherwise, wait until it does move to the right then begin to follow it. The second it changes direction, quickly jump over it and onto a platform with a bomb on, and a Scorch just above. Jump to the right up onto the roof, then when the barrel ahead of you is no longer flaming, jump over it and land just to the right. Down below if a platform with a bomb in the middle of it, so hop over the bomb, drop down to the right, and jump up onto another bomb-ridden platform. Hop up to the roof once more and you�ll find a Cluster. When he fires at you, just jump over his attack and follow him, when he changes direction jump over and drop down the gap in the roof to find the Wulf�s lair. FIRING SQUAD Creatures: Bloater, Mysti (x3), Boomer Technique: When you start, jump over the Swell growing in front of you, then hop onto the first platform you see. Quickly use your Bloater and float over the next three platforms and when you see an Oily, drop down, trying your best to land just to the right of it. You will be dizzy, but it doesn�t affect you time much. Start running to the right and jump onto the first platform you see; there�s a Burrower in it, so you�ll have to land right on the edge if you don�t want to get hurt. When you do get there, use your first Mysti above the Yooseeme ahead and jump on it, then quickly use your second above the huge Swell. Jump onto that like the one before and place your final one low down to the right of the Swell, then jump onto it and across to the next platform. Jump over the Yooseeme and anything else that gets in your way to reach the Wulf�s lair. COBBLED COURTYARD Creatures: Golem (x5), Mysti (x4), Witch Technique: When you begin, run to the right and jump over the two Yooseemes. You�ll then see some platforms ahead, so jump up all three of them to find a Cluster; just after he�s fired to the left, jump up and then over him, before hopping down past a Spike on the next platform. Keep going right and you�ll find a Leggy Bomb, jump over it and then quickly select your Golem; if you look to the top right corner, you�ll see a Gusta that needs to be disposed of, so use your first Golem to get rid of him then jump up and drop down the hole he was covering. Drop down to the right again and you�ll see a Cluster just below you, wait until he moves away from you then drop down once and then again, holding right in order to avoid the Leggy Bomb below. There bomb will start to go after you, so hop over it and stand below the Oily. You�ll see a Globule waiting to attack, so use your Witch to get rid of it, then use your Mysti past where the Globule originally was and jump onto it. Jump onto the next platform and jump up and over the Bouncer, onto a small platform to the right, then drop down to collect the body armour, making sure you avoid the Whirlwind. Go right until you see a Spike, at which point you should wait until the Whirlwind is well away from you, then use a Mysti above the Spike and jump on top of it, before moving onto the next platform. Go a little to the right and you�ll see a Mortar blocking your path with its fire. Use a Golem to flatten it, then jump on top of the Golem and use another in the middle of the next platform. Jump on top of the next Golem and over the bomb to your right. Wait for the Yooseeme to move away from you, then jump up, over your foe and down the small gap in the roof. Run to the right, use a Mysti in between the gap and jump into and through the growing Swell ahead of you, your armour will protect so it�s alright, then drop down and stay to the very left of the screen. Use you final Golem below the Fatso, jump over the Yooseeme, onto the Golem and up onto the platform above it. Jump across the platform with a second Fatso underneath it, the drop down and you see Mortar fire. Use your final Mysti to block the Mortars attack before finally getting the last rating of the game. Well there you have it, you�ve finally completed SabreWulf and got a coveted 100% plastered on your save file to boast about for years to come.
