WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2011 Road to Wrestlemania Character Walkthrough Chris Jericho
Hello, and welcome to another year of WWE Smackdown vs. RAW and that means another year of the Road to Wrestlemania, in which you select one of the available superstars to play through the weeks heading up to Wrestlemania XXVI. I will be attempting to show the different pathways that are available for each superstar, what differences your decisions make, make you aware of what match-ups to expect, and what you want to be doing if you want to unlock everything the game has to offer. This first guide is going to walk through Chris Jericho’s Road to Wrestlemania .

To make your way through the guide, you can find tags at the beginning of each week and event. The tags are shown for each event in Jericho’s Road to Wrestlemania are shown above.
Week 1 - RAW [JER-WK1-R]
Well, as can be seen by anyone who played last years game, Road to Wrestlemania this year is a bit different, as you get to go around the backstage area and interact with superstars that are wandering around, either talking to or fighting them. There’s also the possibility to upgrade abilities using points gained from matches and fights (although first playthroughs don’t give enough points to make a decent upgrade)
So the first thing you’ll want to do is go to the GM’s office, where Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley will be waiting for you. You’ll complain about being ripped off in the match last Sunday but she’s having none of it. She tells you that you’ll have to earn the right to another championship shot if you want it, and you’re starting at the bottom. And the bottom is obviously Santino Marella. ([Challenge Match #1] The Miz will be waiting around the backstage area, near the backstage curtains. If you talk to him you’ll get a match against him on Superstars) Not a difficult match but you need to perform your finisher. Jericho complains after the match about being putting in the match with Santino and forces Cole to interview him. Santino attacks Jericho, but not for long, as Jericho fights back, and Kofi Kingston makes the save.

Optional Goal: Don’t let Santino do much damage to you

Steph rings you up to inform you that you have a match with Kofi Kingston later tonight. [The Miz and Hornswoggle are backstage, if you wish you can pick up Miz’s wallet and give it to him after Hornswaggle drops it for an SP boost]. Triple H joins in on commentary, but generally just keeps himself amused by insulting Jericho’s hair. A fairly simple match again.

Week 3 RAW [JER-WK3]
Not much happening backstage this week, but you do get a match against Triple H. Again a fairly simple match to win.
TAG TEAM MATCH:
Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Kofi Kingston & Triple H
Week 4 RAW [JER-WK4]
Firstly, you’ll need to talk to Big Show. He’ll mock your attempts to get the WWE Championship and then belittle you abilities. That’s not very nice, and you’re not very happy about it either. So you’ll get to destroy his locker room, using him. To win, you need to do six interactive moves with bits of the locker room. After destroying him, you’ll mock him, and inform him that you’ll be taking his place, and championship opportunity, at the Royal Rumble, as a friend, of course
BACKSTAGE BRAWL:
Chris Jericho vs. Big Show
Royal Rumble [JER-RR]
Steph rings you, she has some important business she needs to discuss with you regarding the championship matches tonight. ([Challenge Match #2] Santino Marella wishes to charge up his mo-juice with a match with you, you can get this match by talking to him backstage). Heading to the GM’s office, and Steph has chosen the new #1 contender for the WWE Championship and…it’s not you. She knows you injured Big Show and for that, your match stipulations have changed. Along with that, lose, and then you’re fired. Big Show will interfere, and makes it a pain. To make it easier for yourself (and I’m not even sure you can win before this) but allow Big Show to hit his finisher (he may do it twice) and then he’ll leave, allowing you to win the match, once you’ve recovered.
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH:
Chris Jericho vs. Kofi Kingston (c)
Week 5 RAW [JER-WK5-R]
So, first job as NEW United States Champion? Go talk, it’s shown on the map. Here comes Big Show and unsurprisingly, he’s not happy. And lucky you, you have a match with him, tonight. There aren’t any hitches in this match, and it ends up being a straightforward affair, even with the intimidation delivered earlier.

Week 6 RAW [JER-WK6]
Not much happening backstage again this week, so head to the ring. Triple H is facing off against Jack Swagger for the WWE Championship, having refused to give you a shot. Where I come from, refusing a challenge is known as a forfeit, so go take what is 'rightfully' yours. To finish the week off, you need to get the title to the titantron. Simple, if you can neutralize Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio, but unfortunately that’s not it, as Triple H catches up to you.

Unlocks: Triple H (Civilian) [If you manage not to lose]
Week 7 RAW [JER-WK7]
([Challenge Match #3 John Cena is waiting just outside of the car park, looking to vent his frustration after an apparent attack from Rhodes and DiBiase, talk to him to trigger the challenge match)

PARKING LOT BRAWL
Chris Jericho vs. John Cena
Now, if you decided to, or not, fight Cena in the brawl, time to head to the marked locker room, where you are treated to Triple H ranting in the ring about what happened last week. Following that, Shawn Michaels challenges you to a match to prove your championship credentials. Being too wise for the trap that DX are pulling, you have to hide the championship belt in the locker room before heading out. Eventually, Triple H will interfere and you will win by DQ. Cue getting beaten up by DX
SINGLES MATCH:
Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels
Week 8 RAW [JER-WK8]
Mr. McMahon wants you in his office, and he wants the WWE Championship back. So you give it back on one condition: a championship match at Elimination Chamber, to which he accepts…for now, but ([Challenge Match #4] This one’s a bit odd, but here goes. Watch Santino and Beth have an argument about Santino being a loser. Then, talk to Maryse, she’ll complain about Hornswoggle. Find Hornswoggle in the Trainer’s Room and talk to him, then talk to Maryse again, and you’ll get the challenge match before your match on RAW.) Turns out McMahon’s stuck you in a gauntlet match, isn’t that nice of him? Just like three singles matches in a row. Also, Triple H is again joining the commentary team at ringside, and he again doesn’t do anything other than say how much he’ll beat you at Elimination Chamber

Turns out, your WWE Championship shot is also an Elimination Chamber, oh goody. So you better be prepared for fighting your way through 5 other men to win. Not much to say about this, it’s generally easy enough to eliminate people one at a time, considering that you start first.

Week 9 RAW [JER-WK9]
So, Triple H calls, and informs you he’s cashing in his rematch clause tonight! But, as Jericho reminds himself before you head out to the ring: as champion, you don’t technically need to *win* to keep the championship around your waist. So, it’s much easier to just get intentionally disqualified or counted out

Week 10 RAW [JER-WK10]
Tonight is the return of Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, with his guest none other than Triple H, obviously wanting to gloat about the fact that Triple H failed to win the title last week. Steph calls Jericho and informs him that there is another rematch scheduled for tonight, in which a DQ or count-out also loses Jericho the title. Jericho mocks Triple H, getting him riled up and then strikes him with the microphone. You then get the opportunity to critically injure Triple H by throwing him through the screen. To do this you need to damage him enough, then environmental grapple him through the screen, like any other backstage brawl.

Week 11 RAW [JER-WK11]
First of all, go and see an extremely annoyed Shawn Michaels, who challenges you to a match tonight after complaining that last week you crossed the line in what you’ve been doing recently. ([Challenge Match #5] Go and talk to Santino Marella down the corridor near the locker rooms, he will admit he is nervous about his match against Big Show and ask for your help. You agree to interfere, just to annoy him.). Steph leaves a voicemail on your phone, clearly upset with what you did last week. She informs you that Shawn asked for a tables match against you, and she agreed, and that Triple H is to face you at Wrestlemania. Obviously, tables matches are as simple as putting your opponent through a table, so ensure that you do.
CHALLENGE MATCH:
Santino Marella vs. Big Show
Conditions: Interfere and hit (at least) one finisher on Big Show, and ensure Santino wins the match.

Week 12 RAW [JER-WK12]
As Wrestlemania is mere days away, nothing much appears to be happening backstage, at least not that’s relevant to the WWE Champion, Chris Jericho, so head out to the ring. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley is in the ring and announces that the Wrestlemania match between Triple H and Chris Jericho will be a Hell in a Cell. Triple H and Chris Jericho can be seen brawling backstage on the Titantron. You eventually take control of several backstage brawls between you and Triple H, of which Triple H will come out on top almost every time, but it doesn’t matter, as you are meant to get destroyed in the brawl anyway.
