Introduction-This FAQ concentrates on the game called-Grand Theft
Auto 3 (GTA3). During his FAQ I shall be going through all the
missions, and off-road ones, toyz and phone missions. I shall
also include an FAQ on how to get the tank, but it shall not be
in this FAQ (without cheating). I shall also include the basics,
and the bonus’ you can get through the game.

LIBERTY CITY

"Welcome to Liberty City, the Worst Place in America."
Stated in the Instruction Manual, on page 2.
This is the city where you are based, here you can kill, rob, and
run from the law. To stay alive you are going to have to kill,
steal and run as fast as you can, just to get this evenings meal.
You start off at Portland when you have escaped the security
truck that was transporting you to this very large island. The
blast that set you free from the police, has destroyed the
Callahan Bridge, so you will have to do some work in this city
until it is fixed! And that’s where this FAQ comes in handy.

Before I start on the mission’s part I am going to teach you the
basic controls of this game.
ON FOOT-The controls
TRIANGLE- Enter a vehicle
CIRCLE- Use a weapon or your fists
X- Run
SQUARE- Jump
L2, R2- Change your weapon (only works if you have one or
More weapon)
L1- Centre camera
R1- Target person
D PAD, LEFT STICK– Move around city
SELECT- Change camera view to your liking
START- Bring up pause menu
R3- Look behind you, very useful when you want to see
how far ahead you are from the cops.
Vehicle Controls-The controls
CIRCLE- Use the Uzi to do a drive-by.
TRIANGLE- Exit a vehicle
X- Accelerate
SQUARE- Brake
L2, R2- Look left or right, if pressed together look
Behind.
L1- Change in-car radio station
R1- Handbrake
D PAD, LEFT STICK– Move when in vehicle
RIGHT STICK- Rotate turret (only works while in the fire-
engine, or tank)
SELECT- Change camera view
START- Bring up pause menu
L3- Horn, gentle tap starts off sirens while in
emergency vehicles and also activates
Hydraulics in Yardie Lobo
R3- Trigger vehicle mission if inside a special
Vehicle.

Vehicles
This is a lesson on how to use your stolen vehicles to your
advantage.
To get in a vehicle press the triangle button, it is easier to
get into some vehicles than others. Take a taxi for example; you
walk up to the door open it throw the driver out, start the
engine. The Taxi driver gets up and runs straight for his cab
pulls you out, you fall to floor and he clobbers you. Now maybe
you want to steal a normal car, you get in the passenger seat and
the driver gets out and ‘gladly’ gives you his car.
Some cars are harder to steal than others, like a police car.
The best way to get in a police car is to:
1.Get out your handgun, and fire it, just once. The police car
near you will stop and the policeman will get out.
2.Get in the police car and make sure you shut the door, because
an open door is vulnerable to a cop getting out a gun and
pointing it through the open door at you!
3.Speed as fast as you can to your destination, and try not to
kill anyone until your wanted level is down.
4.You have successfully stolen a police car.

How can I tell if my car is going to explode?
There are many ways you can tell if your car is going to blow up
and I shall tell you the examples.
1.If you drive too fast, when you are turning you will topple
over, (there are other ways of toppling you car), you should get
out you car and run, because you car will set alight and then
explode. Any cars near to it may be exploded in the process.
2.If you are being shot at, you cars gradually weaken; depending
on the gun that is being used to shoot you will depend on how
long it takes for your car to explode. I advise that you quickly
bail out. Because if you don’t get out before that final bullet,
that is going to blow your car to pieces, you will blow up with
it.
3.If you are ramming you car into objects, soon it shall catch
fire and explode, this goes for when you are driving and you are
smashing into other cars, you car shall set alight and burst into
flames.
-The police
Yes, this wouldn’t be a good game without them. They protect the
people and try there hardest to kill you!
BUSTED-This happens when the police catch you, you are taken to
the nearest police station where you shall be made to pay $1000
to be set free. You shall loose all your weapons and fail any
missions that you were doing. You can only be wasted when you
have a wanted level.
Wanted levels-Wanted levels are your indication that the police,
SWAT teams, FBI and the army are out to get you. Here is a
mini-guide to wanted levels.
1 Star-The cops aren’t really bothered on catching you; it’s just
a warning. If you lie low for a few seconds they should get off
your back. Cops will shout at you, but not shoot you. If they
are close enough they will pull you out your car or beat you up.
2 Stars-From here it gets a bit tricky, cop cars will start
coming after you, in each of there cars are two cops. They will
now attempt to shoot at you with handguns.
3 Stars-Now this is when you have to get tactical; the cops are
really fed up with you. They have called for a helicopter, which
will shoot at you; you can shoot these down with a rocket
launcher. Cops will now have set up roadblocks.
4 Stars-Now the SWAT teams are after you, they come in trucks,
and are armed with Uzi’s, and the van is full of guys.
Everywhere you go cops will be after you and the SWAT teams have
roadblocks, and it’ll take more than a car to crash through
that.
5 Stars-The Cops have given up; they have called in the FBI.
They come in very fast black un-marked cars, with four guys in
each. They are all armed with AK-47’s. And will try to kill you
by running you over.
6 Stars-So you’ve made it here; this is the hardest bit of all.
The Cops have failed, the SWAT has failed, the FBI has failed and
they’ve called for the army. They have tanks armed with shells;
they have men armed with M16’s. And will kill you at all costs!
Wasted-You are wasted, when you have no life left, this is
indicated in the right-hand side of the screen. When you are
wasted, you are taken to the nearest hospital and fixed up for
$1000, and like being busted you loose all your weapons.

Weapons
I am now going to do a guide on weapons, you shall need weapons
throughout the game to kill and complete missions. They come in
handy for there fire power and distance shooting. The sniper
rifle stands out as one of the most useful guns of all.

Fists-Every ones got them, and every ones used them. These great
weapons can be used to your disadvantage on this game. You throw
them a punch and they throw you a punch, there is nothing special
about them.
Baseball bat-You can get hold of these at your hideout, they are
quite efficient, and can kill people in under 4 hits. What you
need to do is knock someone to the ground and beat him or her
with it while they are on the floor. They will make scream out
with one last push of energy and die. If a person is the right
distance from you, you can whack them in the head with it and
they die instantly.
Hand Gun-A Nice small weapon, while using this weapon you shall
be able to run with it. If you shoot someone about 5 times with
this they shall die. But this usually alerts the cops. The
ability to run with this makes it useful to get away from cops.
Uzi-Small machine gun, which you carry in one hand. You are able
to run with this, and shoot out of your cars window with it by
pressing either:
L1 and circle
Or
R2 and circle
Especially useful when you are caught up in a gang war. Alert
the cops easily.
Shotgun-A very large gun, you are unable to run with it. But
with each fire it shoots 5 bullets, this is the essential gun to
have. Every time you steal a police car you get 5 rounds of ammo
for one of these. After 3 shots it can destroy a car.
AK-47-This gun is a very fast shooter and can be fired from long
distances. After a burst of bullets this kills a guy. You shall
be unable to run with it. Can destroy a car in a matter of
seconds, not useful when being chased by cops, unless you are far
away from them.
M16-This gun is good for destroying cars, its fast firing and
good manual aim makes it a sharp shooter. When pressing the R1
button while using this gun you can aim. You are unable to run
with this weapon, and I advise that you do not shoot people with
this from long distances as when fired it moves around a lot and
you could hit the wrong target.
Sniper Rifle-This gun is only good when you get a good high point
to shoot from. You are able to aim with this gun, and with the
Square button zoom in, and with the X button zoom out. This
kills people in one shot, and depending where you shoot someone
you can see blood coming out of there limbs.
Rocket Launcher-This bit of heavy artillery can kill and destroy
pretty much anything. With R1 you can aim with this meaning that
it is especially good for shooting down helicopters. Although
its good, its re-load time is about 10 seconds, which slows you
down a lot, and you don’t want to get caught in the explosions.
Flamethrower-This is a very good weapon when you are facing a lot
of people, with no need to re-load, you can just burn groups of
people in seconds. There is a hazard whilst using this weapon,
when you se someone alight they run around a lot and can bump
into you, this means you can set on fire and about 75% of you
health will be lost.
Molotov Cocktail-When these are used, you are able to burn very
large groups of people from a distance away. Which makes it
safer for you, meaning that you cannot get burnt. These do a
very good amount of damage to cars, but not trucks. The longer
you hold down circle the further you can throw these.
Grenades-Once thrown these cause a massive explosion, you should
not use these when you are trying to destroy or kill a mobile
unit, just do it on stationary objects. The best times to use
these are when there is a traffic jam; just throw one and all the
cars explode. The longer you hold down circle the further you
can throw these.

Objects
I am going to do a little summary on what objects you can pick up
during the game, there are only 5 so that’s why it’s a summary.

Heart-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue with a heart inside.
Does-Puts your health up to 100, if it isn’t already.
Can be found-At hospitals, and in places around the 3 islands.
Body Armour-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a green shield
inside.
Does-Gives you 100 armour, this protects you from bullets fire,
and attack.
Can be found-Can be bought at Ammu-nation, found around the 3
islands and you receive some when you are in an enforcer (SWAT
team van).
Police Bribe-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a yellow star
inside.
Does-Puts your wanted level down by 1.
Can be found-All over the 3 islands.
Adrenaline Pill-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a pill inside, half of
it, is red and the other half is white.
Does-Slow down time for a while and gives you super strength.
Can be found-All over 3 islands.
Rampage icon-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a skull in side.
Does-Starts a rampage, meaning that you have to kill a certain
amount of something in a certain amount of time.

Important stuff
Here I am going to tell you about all the little things you
should know.
Radar-This is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, its
in a circle and has a white dot which indicates you. While you
are not doing a mission, there will be big letters on there, this
is where you go to get jobs, and they are your bosses. While you
are doing missions there is usually a dot, this is the location
you have to reach. The radar can be used as a map, or to show
you where you have to go during a mission.
Hideout-This is where you go to, Lie low, Save your game and
cars, and also repair them. At you hideout the garage there acts
as a car repair garage and will repair your car for free. Your
hideout will be the green house on the radar; this will lead you
to your hideout.
Shops-Around liberty there are shops for you to use these are:
Pay and Spray-Sprays you car and repairs it for money, but this
gets rid of the cops.
Ammu-Nation-Here you can buy all you artillery needs, and this
place also helped beat communism.
8 Balls Auto yard/Bomb shop-Here you can get a bomb fixed into
your car, there are different types of bombs for the 3 islands.
Portland:
These bombs are put in your car, and are set off when the engine
starts.
Staunton Island:
These bombs are put in your car, and are set off when you press
circle, after this you must run!
Shoreside Vale:
These bombs are controlled by remote control, to activate press
circle, get a safe distance away and cycle through your weapons
until you get to the detonator and press circle and the car shall
explode.

Mission walkthroughs
Now I am going to start the mission walkthroughs.
*********************************************************************
After the explosion on the bridge, you are standing outside a car
(Kuruma) with 8 Ball, he has told you that he knows where you can
lie low on the edge of the Red Light District, and get a change
of clothes. He will run to the car and get in, run up to it and
get in, and follow the dot to the hideout. 8Ball will get out,
and then you will follow him, both of you come out in a change of
casual clothes.
Get back in your car and head to Luigi’s Sex Club Seven in the
Red Light District. 8 Ball then introduces you to luigi and he
gives you a very easy job.
Luigi’s Missions (Mafia)-
Luigi’s Girls-Reward $1,500
This mission is very simple and straight forward; all that is
required is that you got to the hospital, and pick up Misty. Get
to the hospital and stop next to misty, she shall get in the car
and you will have to take her back to Sex Club 7, for some cash.
You have successfully completed your first mission.
*I advise that you save after completing a mission*
You now have the chance to explore Portland, and get some
weapons.

Don’t SPANK my B**** up!-Reward $4000
In this mission you are required to kill a guy who is giving out
the new drug SPANK, and then steal his car re-spray it and take
it to luigi’s lock-up.
When you walk out of Luigi’s place, there is a baseball bat on
the path, pick it up and get into a car. Get to the docks and
you shall see a guy talking to two hookers. There are two ways
of doing this next bit.
1.Get out your car, arm yourself with the baseball bat and beat
him to death.
-or-
2.Stay in your car charge at him full speed and run him over.
You can do any of these it does not affect the mission in
anyway.
After you have killed the guy, steal his stallion. Take it to
the Pay and Spray shop, which is shown on the Radar for you.
This time you take it, it shall be free of charge but next time
it will cost you $1000. Take the car to the lock-up of
Luigi’s.

Drive Misty For Me-Reward $1000
This mission is very straight forward and consists only of
driving. What you have to do is drive Misty to Joeys place.
When you leave Luigi’s place head for Misty’s apartment, stop in
the blue circle, and beep the horn. As Misty is expecting you
she comes running out and gets in the car.
Now all you have to do is take her to Joeys garage, and once you
are there, he offers you some work.
*Don’t start on Joeys Jobs until you have completed Luigi’s job*

Pump-Action Pimp-Reward $4000
Luigi’s annoyed because some Diablos have been messing with his
Girls. He says that there is a piece (handgun) behind
Ammu-Nation for you. If you want you can get this, but you won’t
necessarily need this.
Get in your car and head towards the dot on your Radar, when you
reach it you shall see a Stallion, ram it off the road and the
two guys will get out. Stay in your car and run both of them
over this should kill them, if you want to do it the safer way
park your car over there bodies and this should kill them within
about a minute, when they are dead you shall have completed the
mission.

The Fuzz Ball-Reward $2000
In this mission you are against the clock but it doesn’t means
it’s going to be hard.
Get a taxi, and head for the first dot on the radar, pick up the
girl. Then head to the next to dots and pick up those two girls.
You should now have 3 Girls in your car, head to the Old School
Hall and drop them off. Get the Police car and head to get
another 3 girls, and drop them off. You are guarantied to
complete this mission once you have dropped off 4 girls, but for
every other girl you take there you shall get $500. This mission
is good to make extra cash, so do it properly.

Joeys Missions (Mafia)
Mike Lips Last Lunch-Reward $10,000
This mission is timed with 6 minutes, which is quite long. The
idea of this mission is to get to the bistro and get Mikes car,
plant a bomb in it and it goes boom with him inside.
Get in your car and head for Marcos Bistro, you will get to the
car park at the front of the building, and see a sentinel parked
there. Get inside and take it to 8 Balls Bomb Shop, making sure
not to crash it, otherwise you will have to get it repaired.
Once the bomb has been fixed into the car take it back to the
bistro and wait for Mike to get in the car and you get to see him
go bang and earn a quick 10 grand.

Farewell ‘Chunky’ Lee Chong-Reward $10,000
This mission can be tricky but if you have got this far it should
be quite easy.
You have a chance to get a gun in this mission, so I would go and
collect it. After you have got it get in your car and head to
china town, you are unable to drive up to the ‘Punk Noodles’
stand so you will have to do this bit on foot. Run towards the
stand and it shall show a cinematic of him in the stand, after
this is over run towards the stand. Some triads will come
running towards you and will fire at you, don’t worry about these
guys, just go straight for ’Chunky’. Start firing at him; he
shall fall to the ground. If you have a shotgun use this as it
will kill him instantly.
You have completed this mission.

Van Heist-Reward $20,000
This is quite a hard mission, but as long as you have a good
strong vehicle you should be ok.
Near Joeys there is a bus station, head for there and get the
Coach inside. Take the coach to where the Securicar is and Hit
it head on. This should wear down quite a lot of the securicars
armour. Keep on bashing it until the guys inside bail. Get
inside the securicar and take it to the garage in the docks.
And then you have completed the mission.
*You should now receive a page from El Burro, he has some work
for you, I shall do his walkthrough in the telephone mission
section.*

Cipriani’s Chauffer-Reward $3000
In this mission you have to transport Toni Cipriani to his
Restaurant. But first he has to do some business with the
triads.
When you leave Joeys garage, drive to the Laundrette in China
Town, Toni will walk inside and start talking, then the Triads
will start shooting and he will come running out back into the
car.
Now get out of china town because the Triads are going to try and
kill you.
Now take Toni to his Momma’s Restaurant, and he will get out and
say that he has got some work for you.
*Only go and do Toni’s work when you have finished Joeys
mission*

Dead Skunk In The Trunk-Reward $10,000
This mission is hard, but depending on the strategies you use you
can ease it.
Get in your car and head down to the diner where the car with the
body is. Do not get in that car, as that will make the mission
hard. Get some cars and box in that suspicious looking car
parked in the entrance of the tunnel. And then go for the car
with the body in, and get in. The Forelli brothers will come
after you, but because you boxed one of the cars in, it makes it
difficult for him to come after you. But you still have one
after you, if you drive on the wrong side of the road dodging the
cars he shall have a crash and he will be gone. Now head for the
crusher and get that car crushed.

The Getaway-Reward $30,000
This mission is tricky, so make sure you know where abouts the
pay and spray is in Portland. As you will be needing to use it
to make this mission easier.
Get a vehicle that is fast, strong and can fit 4 people inside,
and take it to the dot on the radar. This will lead you to the
bank robber’s hideout, stop at the blue circle, and beep the
horn. The robbers will get in the car, and ask you to take them
to the bank. On the way there you will notice an ally with a
little slop, on there is a police bribe. Drop off the robbers,
and wait for them to come back, once they are all in your car
head for where the police bribe is, pick it up and carry on to
the pay and spray.
Once you have reached the pay and spray, get in there and get
your car sprayed. Then take the robbers back to there hide out
and you have completed the mission.

Toni’s Missions (Mafia)
Taking Out The Laundry-Reward $20,000
This mission requires time and strategy; the best way to do this
mission is to make sure you have at least 15 Shotgun cartridges.
And you will also have the chance to get some grenades I suggest
you get them.
Get in a car, and head for 8 Balls, and collect the grenades,
which are there. There is no point using them, as you can never
hit a moving target with them. Now head towards one of the
laundry vans, and get out your car and shoot it twice with the
Shotgun. Do this to all of the laundry vans you need to do it
to; I think that is about 3.
Another way to do this mission is not to bump into the vans
otherwise they’ll start driving like a maniac. The idea is that
you wait until they are at red lights, and throw a grenade at the
laundry vans and they blow up!

The Pick Up-Reward $10,000
This mission requires a lot of planning, you are up against the
Triads and they are going to have to kill you.
The best way to do this mission is by car, as you will be
ambushed once you reach your destination. Make sure you have
full life, and if you can, get some body armour.
Get in your car and head to the dot on the radar. Get the
briefcase, an FMV should start, after this is finished choose one
of the alleys and run the guys down. After you get out in the
open, get inside a Triad Fish Van, and run the appropriate guys
over. After this take the money back to Tony, and you have
finished this mission.

Salvatore’s called a meeting-Reward $15,000
This mission is pretty simple, all you have to do is pick up
Joey, Luigi and Toni and take them to Salvatore’s place.
Get in a car and get over to Joeys, once you get here get inside
the building and get the Limo, when you get this Joey will come
inside with you. Now you have to go over to the Sex Club 7, to
pick up Luigi. Once you have got them two, go and pick up Toni.
Once you have picked up Toni, the triads will come after you in
their vans. Just try your best not to let them distract you and
get to the specified location. You shall notice that the drive
way is blocked by two Triad Vans, just ram straight in to them
and you are in!
Get the Limo in the Garage, and then you have completed that
Job.
*Salvatore wants you for work, don’t start his missions until you
have done Toni’s*
*Also you will have to do Salvatore’s first mission, straight
after this one to continue with Toni’s mission.*

Triads and Tribulations-Reward $30,000
On this mission you have to kill 3 Triad warlords because the
Mafia have announced war on them.
Warlord 1. Get in a car, which can carry 4 people, as you have
back up. Head for Chinatown and the first warlord is in front of
the Raffles Fish Factory. It is easy to kill him, you can run
him over, or take advantage of the fact that you have Back-up.
Warlord 2. This Warlord is in Chinatown, the same bit where Lee
Chong was in the mission:
Farewell ‘chunky’ Lee Chong.
This time get out of your car and head into the No Car zone.
When you get close enough the guys who are back up should kill
him, you just cover them.
Warlord 3. Before you start on this warlord, get a Triad Fish
Van. You will need it to get to him. As soon as you have got
the van, head for the dot. Get to the factory and kill the
warlord, this one has more sense than the others and has covered
himself, by standing behind a wall.

Blow Fish-Reward $3000
This mission is a fun one, and quite simple.
8 Ball has loaded a garbage truck with explosives, and all you
have to do is take it to the Triad Fish Factory with out bumping
into stuff all that much. Getting threw the gates should be
simple as they are expecting a garbage truck. Get round to the
Canisters and watch them explode. Now run to the gate and get
out of there.
*You have now completed Toni’s missions*

*This is the mission that has to be done, after the ‘Salvatore’s
called a meeting’*
Chaperone-Reward $10,000
Salvatore has asked you to take Maria out for the night, and you
get to use the Limo.
Maria wants to go to the Waterfront by China town to meet a
friend called Chico and drug selling freak. He tells Maria that
there is a party at the Warehouse in the Atlantic Quays.
Take Maria there and park up, she goes inside and a few minutes
later, there is a police raid. Just stay put until Maria comes
out and gets in the car. You will have a wanted level of 2
stars, but all you have to do is get back to Salvatore’s mansion
and get in the garage.

Cutting the Grass-Reward $15,000
Salvatore smells a rat, and he is working for Luigi in his Sex
Club, and he is selling info to the Cartel. The best way to do
this mission is to get to the Club and wait quite a distance
behind the Taxi that is waiting to pick him up. A few moments
later Curly (The Rat) should appear and get in the taxi. If you
look just under your health indicator, there is a thing called a
spookometer, when this goes up Curly is getting suspicious, when
it reaches its limit he knows he is being followed and decides
not to meet with the Cartel. So what you have to do is follow
him to the docks without getting that Spookometer all the way up.
Once he has reached his destination, there will be an FMV and
then you are told to kill him. Go as fast as you can at the
squealer, before he uses his shotgun.

Bomb Da Base: Act 1-Reward $0
Salvatore wants you to do a favour for him. He wants you to
destroy the Boat down at the docks with all the SPANK on. This
is a personal favour to him.
Head down to 8 Balls place, and make sure you have $100,000. Get
to the Blue Circle and talk to 8 Ball, he’ll ask you to come back
when you have the money.

Bomb Da Base: Act 2-Reward $150,000
Knock on 8 Balls door again and he will say ‘lets do this thing’
and will hand you a Sniper Rifle. Get in a car and head for the
dot on the Radar.
When you reach the Docks he will say that he will go in when you
fire the first shot.
The best vantage point on this mission is on top of the roof of
the Warehouse. It is by the entrance to the docks on the right.
You’ll see some stairs walk up them and get on the roof. Walk to
the very edge of the roof and take aim at the first guy at the
entrance on the right shoot him, and then shoot the other guy on
the left. Now work your way on shooting the other guys on the
boat to secure that 8 Ball can plant the bomb.
When you have killed all the guys, watch the cut scene. And you
have successfully completed one of the most important missions in
the game.

Last Requests-Reward $20,000
Salvatore has asked you to clear up some mess in a car.
The car is waiting for you in the Red Light District, as you
advance upon the dot you will receive a page from Maria saying
it’s a trap.
Take her advice and meet her at the docks, where she shall
introduce you to Asuka her Yakuza friend.
Drive the boat to the next island, and go and find your new
hideout and save.
*You have finished the 1st Islands missions, there is now a big
war going on between the Mafia and the Triads, and they are both
out to kill you*

After escaping from the first island you have moved to the second
island call Staunton, here you shall work for some of the
strongest gangs, but you still have to watch your back.
Asuka (Yakuza)
Sayonara Salvatore-Reward $25,000
If you don’t have a sniper rifle, I advise you to go and get one
from Ammu-nation in Staunton Island.
There are many ways of doing this mission but the easiest I found
was to go, to Luigi’s place and there is an ally just around the
corner from there, it leads to some stairs, go up these stairs
and you shall reach a buildings roof top which gives a good view
of Luigi’s place. When Salvatore comes out of Luigi’s, you can
sniper him.
*You have cleared Asukas first Mission.*

Under Surveillance-Reward $15,000
Before you start this mission, you should have at least 30 sniper
bullets and a few grenades.
These agents are, well armed but stupid.
Agent number 1.Head for the dot in Belleville Park, and get to
where the pond is. Do not go anywhere close to the to mafia guys
there. Just get out a grenade and throw it at them, this will
kill both of them instantly.
Agent number 2.These guys are hiding in a van, the idea is to
throw a grenade, at the van and watch them explode.
Agent number 3.These guys are at the building opposite the
Casino. Get where the police bribe is (just to the left). Now
get out your sniper rifle and shoot all the guys you can view
until you reach the last one. This one is well protected. So
what I did was go to your right and sniper him from there.
*Now you are able to do work for Kenji, Asukas brother.*

Paparazzi Purge-Reward $10,000
This mission is rather easy, you have to destroy a boat with a
reporter in!
Go and get the police boat, and go towards the dot, but don’t get
too close, as it will start of a chase. Now get your boat and
head around him and them come on him head on at full speed. This
should wear away a lot of his damage meter. Now start following
him shooting him using the cannons on the boat, by pressing
circle, avoiding the burning oilcans.

Pay Day for Ray-Reward $11,000
This mission if fairly easy as long as you have a car, which is
fast and does not turn over easily.
I suggest a Stinger or a taxi.
You have a time limit so move fast.
Get in a car and rush to the payphone at Torrington, when you get
there get out of your car and answer the phone, Ray shall tell
you to get to the Payphone in West Belleville park, go there.
After you get hear answer the phone you will be told to get to
the payphone in Liberty Campus, answer the phone and then get to
the pay phone in South Belleville Park, after you reach here your
time limit shall be cancelled and you will have to get to the
toilets in Belleville park.
Give him the money and you have completed this mission.
If you seem to have trouble with this mission, and the directions
to the payphones disappear. The problem you have is that the
cops are after you!

Two Faced Tanner-Reward $20,000
You can make this mission as easy or as hard as you like really.
There is the hard way to do it and the easy way to do it!
Watch out for the cops!
This is my strategy; get a police enforcer and head to the dot on
the radar. Once you have reached the dot on the map, go into the
blue circle and wait till Tanner comes out and gets into his car,
he shall start speeding away so you will have to catch up with
him pretty fast, when he goes past the water front, crash right
into him and he shall fall into the water and the mission will be
complete.
*You have now completed Asukas missions, you will expect to see
her again in the game!*

Kenji (Yakuza)
Kanbu Bust out-Reward $30,000
This mission is fairly simple.
You have been told to get a police car and get it fixed with a
bomb, now just go outside of Kenjis onto the main road. Wait
until a police car comes along and use the strategy I told you to
use to get a cop car. Now you wanted level should be 1 star, in
front of Kenjis there is a ridge and there is a police bribe
there use it and get on with the mission.
Head to the bomb shop and get your car rigged with a bomb, and
then get to the destination, which is the police station. Go
into the circle and set the bomb off and run!
Once the bomb has gone off get in the Enforcer and collect the
prisoner, now get to the pay and spray, you shall notice that you
can’t get your van sprayed, so get in the Blista parked in the
open garage opposite to the pay and spray, and spray it. Now
take man to the Hyaku Dojo, and you have successfully completed
the first mission of Kenjis.

Grand Theft Auto-Reward $25,000
You have 6 Minutes to jack 3 cars from 3 different destinations,
sounds easy?
Well its not, you can’t crash the car because he won’t accept it
and you will have to get it sprayed which wastes time!
I have done the car orders in the easiest locations to get
them.
Car 1.The first car is a stinger in Bedford point, go and get it
and take it back to the garage.
Car 2.The second car is an Infernus it is at the football stadium
in Aspatria. Take it back to the garage.
Car 3.The last car is a Cheetah; it is parked in the car park of
the hospital in Rockford.
You have now completed this mission!
*When you get your car sprayed, it wastes time I suggest you
drive carefully. I had one minute left at the end of the
mission, you should aim for about 20-60 seconds left*

Deal Steal-Reward $25,000
This is one of the easiest and best missions in the game.
As soon as you go out of the casino you are bound to notice
Yardie Lobos driving about.
Steal one of the Lobos and go and pick up the contact and drive
to the parking lot in the hospital.
When you arrive beep the horn (which is really the Hydraulics),
and the deal starts, run over the entire load of Cartel men and
throw a grenade into the cars. Take the Briefcase that you
obtained, back to the casino and you have completed the
mission.

Shima-Reward $10,000
This is another good mission; you have to go around the island
collecting the protection money.
Place 1.Get to Torrington, and collect the briefcase.
Place 2. Head to Bedford place and collect the Briefcase.
Place 3.Belleville Park is the next place, but the place where
you have to get the money from has been robbed. You have to head
over to Portland and get to the Diablos turf. You have to kill
some Diablos and get the briefcase and get back to Kenjis.
Mission complete

Smack Down-Reward $10,000 and you shall get an extra $1000 for
every Yardie you kill after the original 8.
This mission is quite hard and shall probably take a while to
complete. The best strategy I used was to get into a taxi and do
it because the handling and speed are very good and it takes a
lot to make them blow up.
The Yardies will shoot at you, but if you destroy them fast this
should not be a problem!

Ray (Bent Cop)
Silence the Sneak-Reward $30,000
This mission is quite hard, but I have found a way to make it
easier.
Go to the Army Place, and get the Barracks OL and drive it to the
destination, you’ll see a garage near the window where you have
to throw the grenades in.
Block that garage way with the truck and go and get the Blista
parked in the open Garage. Do the same with the blista as what
you id with the Barracks OL, and throw the grenade in the window.
Now the Mcaffey guy will be in his car trying to ram the two
vehicles out of the way of his garage. Get a grenade or a
Molotov cocktail and throw it in there this should destroy the
vehicle with him in it.

Arm Shortage-Reward $10,000
Phil is the guy who owns the army store where you got the
Barracks OL for on the last mission.
Get to the army store and talk to Phil he will tell you to grab
any weapons you have. If you jump on top of a vehicle you will
be able o reach the rocket launcher.
I found this mission easier if you do not set up a barricade to
stop the cartel getting in. I would equip yourself with your
Shotgun, and shoot any of the cartel coming in. After a few
minutes they shall stop coming but you have not been told that
the mission is finished. This is because there are usually men
hiding down the ally, or pathway on the left of the Barracks OL.
Kill them and you should of finished the mission. From now on
you can buy rocket launchers, M16 and the AK-47.

Evidence Dash Reward-$10,000
This is a good mission, to put your good driving skills to the
test.
Get into a good fast car, which dos not blow up easily, I suggest
a taxi. Go and find the truck that is carrying the evidence and
bash into it. You will immediately get a two stars, keep bashing
the truck and collecting the evidence and go to a quiet place and
blow up the car that you were in and you will have completed the
mission.

Gone Fishing-Reward $15,000
Go to the dot on the map, it takes you to a police boat, get in
it and drive to Rays ‘partner’ use the cannons and blow up his
boat, you will see that he is chucking explosives behind to blow
you up.
Keep on shooting the boat until it blows up, which shouldn’t take
long as it is very slow.

Plaster Blaster-Reward $15,000
I found this mission quite hard the second time I did it, the
first time I did it no problem.
Get into a fast car like the stinger and head towards the
ambulance with the witness inside. Gain speed on the ambulance
and turn around and hit him head on, the witness should bail.
It’s going to be a bit hard killing the witness with your wanted
level so I would go and get your car sprayed.
After having your car sprayed I would hurry back and get out your
Rockets launcher, grenade or anything explosive and this should
destroy his ‘armour’ and he will die.

Donald Love (Love Media)
Liberator-Reward $40,000
On this mission you have to rescue an oriental friend of
Donald’s, you shall need tactics for this mission.
First of all steal a Cartel Cruiser you can find them circling
the construction yard!
Then once you have one go to the Entrance of the place where the
oriental man is being held, get out of your Cruiser and get out
your sniper and shoot the cartel members you can see.
Then get in to your cruiser and go threw the gates and shoot the
other men using the sniper. Get back into your vehicle and
search the surrounding garages for the man. He is held in one of
the garages with a cartel member, kill the cartel member and get
the Oriental man in your car and drive him to Donald Love.

Waka-Gashira Wipeout-Reward $30,000
*Before doing this mission, please make sure you have completed
Kenji’s missions*
Get another Cartel Cruiser for this mission and head to the
multi-Storey.
Just before you reach the top floor make sure you are going fast,
and get up the ramp and run over Kenji, if you had enough speed
this should have killed him first time.
Get out of the multi-storey and get out of Newport get rid of
your car and blow it up this should get rid of the wanted
level.

A drop in the Ocean-Reward $10,000
*Before you start this mission I suggest that you get a Barracks
OL or an Enforcer*
You are timed with two minutes to get to the dot, so I would get
there quite fast but still trying not to damage your vehicle.
Once you have got there steal about and get underneath the
Callahan Bridge, wait until the Dodo comes and get the packages
it drops, and you should have a 5 start wanted level. This is
where the Enforcer or barracks OL comes in handy. You should
have parked it so that you can get back to it, I suggest parking
it outside Asuka’s condo. Get back to your vehicle and head back
to Donald Loves place, you should notice that because you have
armoured vehicles that the FBI cars that come after you just
bounce off.
Take the packages back to Donald.

Shoreside Vale
Donald Love (Love Media)
Grand Theft Aero-Reward $50,000
This mission is quite difficult and contains a lot of skill!
Head to Francis International Airport in Shoreside Vale, and get
to the hanger where the Cartel is hiding. Do not get in there
firing range, but make sure you know where the bullets are coming
from. Get out your Rocket Launcher or Grenades and Aim at the
place where the bullets are coming from when all the people are
dead inside, get into the dodo. You shall be told that, the
package isn’t in there, and that you should try the van. You
realise that it is something to do with the construction yard.
Head back to the construction yard, and make sure you have about
20 sniper bullets.
Once you are at the construction yard stand in the place where
left side of the big building is. Get out your sniper and snipe
all of the people you can see. Then get in your vehicle and
drive around to the entrance of the little blue compound. Get
quite far away and shoot the guys you can see there. There is a
guy hiding in the corner, throw a grenade there and this should
kill him. Then get one of the Panlantic construction vans and
head to the right side of the compound and jump on top of the van
and snipe all of the guys you see there.
This should be all the guys; you shall receive a message saying
head to the lift, so get there and watch the FMV sequence.
*You shall now be able to do jobs for Asuka, but finish Donald’s
missions first*

Escort Service-Reward $40,000
This mission is quite easy; all you have to do is protect the
oriental man and the package by following the Securicar.
Get in a fast car but one, which is quite armoured, and follow
the oriental man.
The cartel should come after you so what I do is ram them and
they get smashed into the oncoming traffic. Then when you are in
the underground tunnel do the same.
Once you are out of the tunnel just follow it and it should reach
its destination in one piece.

Decoy-Reward $45,000
This mission is actually quite easy.
Get to the AMCO Building in shoreside vale and get into the
securicar. Then head to the airport, this is a big area and just
drive around in circles, until the time limit expires. This
should complete the mission very quickly.

Loves Disappearance-Reward $0
Donald Love has seemed to have vanished, you are not told to do
anything for this mission, so just forget about it!

Asuka (Yakuza)
Bait-Reward $35,000
This mission is fairly hard, as you need to use your driving
skills to the best ability!
As this mission is hard to explain I’ll just say the basics.
You have to go to shoreside vale and lead the first car to the
yakuzas, and they shall blow it up, do this with all 3 cars.
Try not to let the cars that are following you fall of the edge
and blow up, as you shall fail the mission. The best way to do
this mission is not to go to far in front of the car!

Espresso to Go-Reward $40,000
This mission is very interesting, but requires patience. First
of all go to the first island and find the two coffee stands
there. Then go to the second island then find the 5 stands
there. After you have done this go to the 1st island again and
destroy the two stands there. Then go to the second island and
destroy the ones there. Then on the third island destroy the two
there. The reason I said not to go to the 3rd island was because
there are only two there and they are about 4-5 blocks away from
each other.
Stand locations:
Portland-
The docks in Trenton,
Opposite Salvatore’s mansion.
Staunton-
The car park in Newport (near the multi-storey),
In the park in Belleville,
Out side the church in Bedford Point,
Around the back of the Church,
Near the statue in Torrington.
Shoreside vale-
The subway in Francis international airport.
At the hospital in Pike Creek

S.A.M-Reward $45,000
Get the boat and head to the marker buoy, then get your boat on
the ramp and get out your sniper rifle. Snipe the 3 guards by
the cartel cruiser; the cruiser shall be your escape vehicle.
Get onto the runway and get out your rocket launcher. Get ready
for the plane to come and then shoot it down, after this get the
stash and get in the cruiser and head for the construction yard.
This Last bit when you have to deliver the stash is hard as you
have a wanted level. The best way I found was to weave in and
out of cars and then you shall reach the construction yard in one
piece.
When you get to the construction yard, you see Miguel and Asuka
dead, and there is a note. It says that Catalina has got Maria
and wants $500,000 ransom.

Catalina (Cartel)
The Exchange-Reward £1,000,000
(This mission is easier to do in a tank)
Go to the Mansion in Shoreside Vale, and make sure you have
$500,000. Once you are there you will loose all of your weapons.
Once you have lost your weapons and you will see a FMV sequence.
After the FMV sequence you will have a Handgun, now run to the
garage with the cruiser inside and pick up the Body Armour and
get in the truck. Hurry to the gate and run over any Cartel
members you see once you are outside the mansion, you shall see
Catalina go off in a Helicopter. Follow the Helicopter; you have
seven minutes to kill Catalina. Once you have got to the right
place you shall notice that there is a Barricade, hit the two
cartel cruisers that shall run the two guys over (Takes a lot of
practice). Get the two guys AK’s.
On the next barricade, get out of there site and auto aim using
the AK, this should kill the other guys at the barricade.
On the right before the barricade there is a sniper rifle, pick
it up and carry on to the dam. Shoot the guys who are standing
on the towers and who are standing on the big boxes with the
sniper rifle.
Now with the Ak kill the other guys from a distance and make your
way to the dot on the radar. A Barracks OL shall come after you
now, but the rockets that are being fired from the helicopter
blows it up. Now kill the guys who are holding Maria hostage.
Then get the rocket launcher and shoot the helicopter down.

Turismo-Reward $10,000
This mission is basically a race, I can’t really tell you much
about it.

You Scream, I Scream-Reward $6,000
This mission is one of my favourites. All you have to do is
steal an Ice Cream Van and put a bomb in it.
Go and get the briefcase from the dot on the radar, and then head
out to get the ice cream van. Now take the ice cream van to the
specified place, park it and arm the bomb then get away to a safe
position. When you see the guys detonate the bomb and you shall
finish the mission.

Trial By fire-Reward $10,000
Go and get the flamethrower and get to China Town. Kill 25
triads to complete this mission.

Big ‘N Veiny-Reward $15,000
This mission takes some mastering. Go and get in the van and
start following the van with all the XXX mags in. Whilst picking
up the trail of Mags. You shall eventually reach Portland
harbour, where you kill the guy and drive the mags back to the
XXX shop.

Marty Chonks-B**** ‘n dog food
The Crook-Reward $1,000
Get in Martys Car and get to where the bank manager is waiting.
Take him back to Marty. After you have done this go and get the
car crushed.

The Thieves-Reward $3,000
Go and get in Martys car and pick up the thieves, take them back
to Marty. Go and get the car sprayed to get rid of any
evidence.

The Wife-Reward $2,000
Go and get Martys wife, firstly by getting Martys car and then
going to collect her. Then take her back to Marty. Marty will
tell you to go and push the car into the sea. Go and find some
water and park the car to the edge of the water, then run into
the pack of the car this shall push the car into the water.

Her Lover-Reward $4,000
Go and get Martys stallion and pick up Martys wife’s lover, take
him back to the factory and Marty will be waiting outside, he
will get killed by Martys wife’s lover.

This mission is just another race, I can’t really write anything

This is a good mission to use your Drive-by skills, and its also
very easy.
Drive to Portland to the Diablo turf, and kill 10 Diablos using
your UZI.

Gang Car Round-up-Reward $10,000
You have to get the following cars to the Garage in Staunton
Island:
Sentinel-Mafia can be found at Salvatore’s place.
Yakuza Stinger-Can be found around Asukas place.
Diablo Stallion-Can be found near Mistys apartment.
Take all these cars to the garage to complete the mission.

Kingdom Come-Reward $10,000
King Courtney has double-crossed you, and wants you dead Catalina
has set up a car in a car park as a trap. When you enter the car
all the exits in the car park shall be shut off by vans with guys
high on spank. You have to destroy the vans, so I would run out
of the car park quickly before the guys can blow you up.
Get to a good spot where you can fire rockets at the vans, and
sniper the guys. Destroy the van and you should complete the
mission.
Just take your time with this mission.

D-Ice-Red Jacks
Uzi Money-Reward $10,000
This mission is harder than the drive-by mission you had to do
for the Yardies. You have to kill 20 purple nines in two
minutes.
Get a car, and drive slowly spraying bullets at the Path, killing
as many people as you can especially the Purple nines.

Toyminator-Reward $5,000
Go and get the Toyz van and destroy the armoured vehicles. You
are only limited with 4 cars, so you are able to blow up one
accidentally, but anymore than that you loose the mission.

Rigged to blow-Reward $20,000
In this mission you have to take D-ices car, which has been
rigged with a bomb, to St Marks in Portland to be defused. If
you crash the car too many times the car shall blow and the
mission will end.
Get the car to St Marks, don’t worry about the Mafia they shall
not shoot at you on this mission. When you have defused the bomb
take it back to D-Ice.

Bullion Run-Reward $25,000
On this mission you have to collect 30 pieces of Platinum and
take it to D-ices lock-up. The Platinum weighs down your car so
you are better off getting a van, also if you get too much
Platinum the cops shall try to stop you, until you drop it off.
Get 30 pieces and ten you will have completed that mission.

Rumble-Reward $10,000
This is the last mission of this walkthrough; you have to go and
pick-up D-Ices brother and fight with the Purple nines. You are
only allowed to use a baseball bat.
Go to the dot on the map where you have to fight them and start
battering them, the good thing about the baseball bat is that
with one swing you can knock many people down. After you have
killed them all you will have completed the mission.

This is the city where you are based, here you can kill, rob, and
run from the law. To stay alive you are going to have to kill,
steal and run as fast as you can, just to get this evenings meal.
You start off at Portland when you have escaped the security
truck that was transporting you to this very large island. The
blast that set you free from the police, has destroyed the
Callahan Bridge, so you will have to do some work in this city
until it is fixed! And that’s where this FAQ comes in handy.

Vehicles
This is a lesson on how to use your stolen vehicles to your
advantage.
To get in a vehicle press the triangle button, it is easier to
get into some vehicles than others. Take a taxi for example; you
walk up to the door open it throw the driver out, start the
engine. The Taxi driver gets up and runs straight for his cab
pulls you out, you fall to floor and he clobbers you. Now maybe
you want to steal a normal car, you get in the passenger seat and
the driver gets out and ‘gladly’ gives you his car.
Some cars are harder to steal than others, like a police car.
The best way to get in a police car is to:
1.Get out your handgun, and fire it, just once. The police car
near you will stop and the policeman will get out.
2.Get in the police car and make sure you shut the door, because
an open door is vulnerable to a cop getting out a gun and
pointing it through the open door at you!
3.Speed as fast as you can to your destination, and try not to
kill anyone until your wanted level is down.
4.You have successfully stolen a police car.

How can I tell if my car is going to explode?
There are many ways you can tell if your car is going to blow up
and I shall tell you the examples.
1.If you drive too fast, when you are turning you will topple
over, (there are other ways of toppling you car), you should get
out you car and run, because you car will set alight and then
explode. Any cars near to it may be exploded in the process.
2.If you are being shot at, you cars gradually weaken; depending
on the gun that is being used to shoot you will depend on how
long it takes for your car to explode. I advise that you quickly
bail out. Because if you don’t get out before that final bullet,
that is going to blow your car to pieces, you will blow up with
it.
3.If you are ramming you car into objects, soon it shall catch
fire and explode, this goes for when you are driving and you are
smashing into other cars, you car shall set alight and burst into
flames.
-The police
Yes, this wouldn’t be a good game without them. They protect the
people and try there hardest to kill you!
BUSTED-This happens when the police catch you, you are taken to
the nearest police station where you shall be made to pay $1000
to be set free. You shall loose all your weapons and fail any
missions that you were doing. You can only be wasted when you
have a wanted level.
Wanted levels-Wanted levels are your indication that the police,
SWAT teams, FBI and the army are out to get you. Here is a
mini-guide to wanted levels.
1 Star-The cops aren’t really bothered on catching you; it’s just
a warning. If you lie low for a few seconds they should get off
your back. Cops will shout at you, but not shoot you. If they
are close enough they will pull you out your car or beat you up.
2 Stars-From here it gets a bit tricky, cop cars will start
coming after you, in each of there cars are two cops. They will
now attempt to shoot at you with handguns.
3 Stars-Now this is when you have to get tactical; the cops are
really fed up with you. They have called for a helicopter, which
will shoot at you; you can shoot these down with a rocket
launcher. Cops will now have set up roadblocks.
4 Stars-Now the SWAT teams are after you, they come in trucks,
and are armed with Uzi’s, and the van is full of guys.
Everywhere you go cops will be after you and the SWAT teams have
roadblocks, and it’ll take more than a car to crash through
that.
5 Stars-The Cops have given up; they have called in the FBI.
They come in very fast black un-marked cars, with four guys in
each. They are all armed with AK-47’s. And will try to kill you
by running you over.
6 Stars-So you’ve made it here; this is the hardest bit of all.
The Cops have failed, the SWAT has failed, the FBI has failed and
they’ve called for the army. They have tanks armed with shells;
they have men armed with M16’s. And will kill you at all costs!
Wasted-You are wasted, when you have no life left, this is
indicated in the right-hand side of the screen. When you are
wasted, you are taken to the nearest hospital and fixed up for
$1000, and like being busted you loose all your weapons.

Weapons
I am now going to do a guide on weapons, you shall need weapons
throughout the game to kill and complete missions. They come in
handy for there fire power and distance shooting. The sniper
rifle stands out as one of the most useful guns of all.

Fists-Every ones got them, and every ones used them. These great
weapons can be used to your disadvantage on this game. You throw
them a punch and they throw you a punch, there is nothing special
about them.
Baseball bat-You can get hold of these at your hideout, they are
quite efficient, and can kill people in under 4 hits. What you
need to do is knock someone to the ground and beat him or her
with it while they are on the floor. They will make scream out
with one last push of energy and die. If a person is the right
distance from you, you can whack them in the head with it and
they die instantly.
Hand Gun-A Nice small weapon, while using this weapon you shall
be able to run with it. If you shoot someone about 5 times with
this they shall die. But this usually alerts the cops. The
ability to run with this makes it useful to get away from cops.
Uzi-Small machine gun, which you carry in one hand. You are able
to run with this, and shoot out of your cars window with it by
pressing either:
L1 and circle
Or
R2 and circle
Especially useful when you are caught up in a gang war. Alert
the cops easily.
Shotgun-A very large gun, you are unable to run with it. But
with each fire it shoots 5 bullets, this is the essential gun to
have. Every time you steal a police car you get 5 rounds of ammo
for one of these. After 3 shots it can destroy a car.
AK-47-This gun is a very fast shooter and can be fired from long
distances. After a burst of bullets this kills a guy. You shall
be unable to run with it. Can destroy a car in a matter of
seconds, not useful when being chased by cops, unless you are far
away from them.
M16-This gun is good for destroying cars, its fast firing and
good manual aim makes it a sharp shooter. When pressing the R1
button while using this gun you can aim. You are unable to run
with this weapon, and I advise that you do not shoot people with
this from long distances as when fired it moves around a lot and
you could hit the wrong target.
Sniper Rifle-This gun is only good when you get a good high point
to shoot from. You are able to aim with this gun, and with the
Square button zoom in, and with the X button zoom out. This
kills people in one shot, and depending where you shoot someone
you can see blood coming out of there limbs.
Rocket Launcher-This bit of heavy artillery can kill and destroy
pretty much anything. With R1 you can aim with this meaning that
it is especially good for shooting down helicopters. Although
its good, its re-load time is about 10 seconds, which slows you
down a lot, and you don’t want to get caught in the explosions.
Flamethrower-This is a very good weapon when you are facing a lot
of people, with no need to re-load, you can just burn groups of
people in seconds. There is a hazard whilst using this weapon,
when you se someone alight they run around a lot and can bump
into you, this means you can set on fire and about 75% of you
health will be lost.
Molotov Cocktail-When these are used, you are able to burn very
large groups of people from a distance away. Which makes it
safer for you, meaning that you cannot get burnt. These do a
very good amount of damage to cars, but not trucks. The longer
you hold down circle the further you can throw these.
Grenades-Once thrown these cause a massive explosion, you should
not use these when you are trying to destroy or kill a mobile
unit, just do it on stationary objects. The best times to use
these are when there is a traffic jam; just throw one and all the
cars explode. The longer you hold down circle the further you
can throw these.

Objects
I am going to do a little summary on what objects you can pick up
during the game, there are only 5 so that’s why it’s a summary.

Heart-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue with a heart inside.
Does-Puts your health up to 100, if it isn’t already.
Can be found-At hospitals, and in places around the 3 islands.
Body Armour-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a green shield
inside.
Does-Gives you 100 armour, this protects you from bullets fire,
and attack.
Can be found-Can be bought at Ammu-nation, found around the 3
islands and you receive some when you are in an enforcer (SWAT
team van).
Police Bribe-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a yellow star
inside.
Does-Puts your wanted level down by 1.
Can be found-All over the 3 islands.
Adrenaline Pill-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a pill inside, half of
it, is red and the other half is white.
Does-Slow down time for a while and gives you super strength.
Can be found-All over 3 islands.
Rampage icon-
Looks like-A circle, which is blue and has a skull in side.
Does-Starts a rampage, meaning that you have to kill a certain
amount of something in a certain amount of time.

Important stuff
Here I am going to tell you about all the little things you
should know.
Radar-This is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, its
in a circle and has a white dot which indicates you. While you
are not doing a mission, there will be big letters on there, this
is where you go to get jobs, and they are your bosses. While you
are doing missions there is usually a dot, this is the location
you have to reach. The radar can be used as a map, or to show
you where you have to go during a mission.
Hideout-This is where you go to, Lie low, Save your game and
cars, and also repair them. At you hideout the garage there acts
as a car repair garage and will repair your car for free. Your
hideout will be the green house on the radar; this will lead you
to your hideout.
Shops-Around liberty there are shops for you to use these are:
Pay and Spray-Sprays you car and repairs it for money, but this
gets rid of the cops.
Ammu-Nation-Here you can buy all you artillery needs, and this
place also helped beat communism.
8 Balls Auto yard/Bomb shop-Here you can get a bomb fixed into
your car, there are different types of bombs for the 3 islands.
Portland:
These bombs are put in your car, and are set off when the engine
starts.
Staunton Island:
These bombs are put in your car, and are set off when you press
circle, after this you must run!
Shoreside Vale:
These bombs are controlled by remote control, to activate press
circle, get a safe distance away and cycle through your weapons
until you get to the detonator and press circle and the car shall
explode.

Mission walkthroughs
Now I am going to start the mission walkthroughs.
*********************************************************************
After the explosion on the bridge, you are standing outside a car
(Kuruma) with 8 Ball, he has told you that he knows where you can
lie low on the edge of the Red Light District, and get a change
of clothes. He will run to the car and get in, run up to it and
get in, and follow the dot to the hideout. 8Ball will get out,
and then you will follow him, both of you come out in a change of
casual clothes.
Get back in your car and head to Luigi’s Sex Club Seven in the
Red Light District. 8 Ball then introduces you to luigi and he
gives you a very easy job.
Luigi’s Missions (Mafia)-
Luigi’s Girls-Reward $1,500
This mission is very simple and straight forward; all that is
required is that you got to the hospital, and pick up Misty. Get
to the hospital and stop next to misty, she shall get in the car
and you will have to take her back to Sex Club 7, for some cash.
You have successfully completed your first mission.
*I advise that you save after completing a mission*
You now have the chance to explore Portland, and get some
weapons.

Don’t SPANK my B**** up!-Reward $4000
In this mission you are required to kill a guy who is giving out
the new drug SPANK, and then steal his car re-spray it and take
it to luigi’s lock-up.
When you walk out of Luigi’s place, there is a baseball bat on
the path, pick it up and get into a car. Get to the docks and
you shall see a guy talking to two hookers. There are two ways
of doing this next bit.
1.Get out your car, arm yourself with the baseball bat and beat
him to death.
-or-
2.Stay in your car charge at him full speed and run him over.
You can do any of these it does not affect the mission in
anyway.
After you have killed the guy, steal his stallion. Take it to
the Pay and Spray shop, which is shown on the Radar for you.
This time you take it, it shall be free of charge but next time
it will cost you $1000. Take the car to the lock-up of
Luigi’s.

Drive Misty For Me-Reward $1000
This mission is very straight forward and consists only of
driving. What you have to do is drive Misty to Joeys place.
When you leave Luigi’s place head for Misty’s apartment, stop in
the blue circle, and beep the horn. As Misty is expecting you
she comes running out and gets in the car.
Now all you have to do is take her to Joeys garage, and once you
are there, he offers you some work.
*Don’t start on Joeys Jobs until you have completed Luigi’s job*

Pump-Action Pimp-Reward $4000
Luigi’s annoyed because some Diablos have been messing with his
Girls. He says that there is a piece (handgun) behind
Ammu-Nation for you. If you want you can get this, but you won’t
necessarily need this.
Get in your car and head towards the dot on your Radar, when you
reach it you shall see a Stallion, ram it off the road and the
two guys will get out. Stay in your car and run both of them
over this should kill them, if you want to do it the safer way
park your car over there bodies and this should kill them within
about a minute, when they are dead you shall have completed the
mission.

The Fuzz Ball-Reward $2000
In this mission you are against the clock but it doesn’t means
it’s going to be hard.
Get a taxi, and head for the first dot on the radar, pick up the
girl. Then head to the next to dots and pick up those two girls.
You should now have 3 Girls in your car, head to the Old School
Hall and drop them off. Get the Police car and head to get
another 3 girls, and drop them off. You are guarantied to
complete this mission once you have dropped off 4 girls, but for
every other girl you take there you shall get $500. This mission
is good to make extra cash, so do it properly.

Joeys Missions (Mafia)
Mike Lips Last Lunch-Reward $10,000
This mission is timed with 6 minutes, which is quite long. The
idea of this mission is to get to the bistro and get Mikes car,
plant a bomb in it and it goes boom with him inside.
Get in your car and head for Marcos Bistro, you will get to the
car park at the front of the building, and see a sentinel parked
there. Get inside and take it to 8 Balls Bomb Shop, making sure
not to crash it, otherwise you will have to get it repaired.
Once the bomb has been fixed into the car take it back to the
bistro and wait for Mike to get in the car and you get to see him
go bang and earn a quick 10 grand.

Farewell ‘Chunky’ Lee Chong-Reward $10,000
This mission can be tricky but if you have got this far it should
be quite easy.
You have a chance to get a gun in this mission, so I would go and
collect it. After you have got it get in your car and head to
china town, you are unable to drive up to the ‘Punk Noodles’
stand so you will have to do this bit on foot. Run towards the
stand and it shall show a cinematic of him in the stand, after
this is over run towards the stand. Some triads will come
running towards you and will fire at you, don’t worry about these
guys, just go straight for ’Chunky’. Start firing at him; he
shall fall to the ground. If you have a shotgun use this as it
will kill him instantly.
You have completed this mission.

Van Heist-Reward $20,000
This is quite a hard mission, but as long as you have a good
strong vehicle you should be ok.
Near Joeys there is a bus station, head for there and get the
Coach inside. Take the coach to where the Securicar is and Hit
it head on. This should wear down quite a lot of the securicars
armour. Keep on bashing it until the guys inside bail. Get
inside the securicar and take it to the garage in the docks.
And then you have completed the mission.
*You should now receive a page from El Burro, he has some work
for you, I shall do his walkthrough in the telephone mission
section.*

Cipriani’s Chauffer-Reward $3000
In this mission you have to transport Toni Cipriani to his
Restaurant. But first he has to do some business with the
triads.
When you leave Joeys garage, drive to the Laundrette in China
Town, Toni will walk inside and start talking, then the Triads
will start shooting and he will come running out back into the
car.
Now get out of china town because the Triads are going to try and
kill you.
Now take Toni to his Momma’s Restaurant, and he will get out and
say that he has got some work for you.
*Only go and do Toni’s work when you have finished Joeys
mission*

Dead Skunk In The Trunk-Reward $10,000
This mission is hard, but depending on the strategies you use you
can ease it.
Get in your car and head down to the diner where the car with the
body is. Do not get in that car, as that will make the mission
hard. Get some cars and box in that suspicious looking car
parked in the entrance of the tunnel. And then go for the car
with the body in, and get in. The Forelli brothers will come
after you, but because you boxed one of the cars in, it makes it
difficult for him to come after you. But you still have one
after you, if you drive on the wrong side of the road dodging the
cars he shall have a crash and he will be gone. Now head for the
crusher and get that car crushed.

The Getaway-Reward $30,000
This mission is tricky, so make sure you know where abouts the
pay and spray is in Portland. As you will be needing to use it
to make this mission easier.
Get a vehicle that is fast, strong and can fit 4 people inside,
and take it to the dot on the radar. This will lead you to the
bank robber’s hideout, stop at the blue circle, and beep the
horn. The robbers will get in the car, and ask you to take them
to the bank. On the way there you will notice an ally with a
little slop, on there is a police bribe. Drop off the robbers,
and wait for them to come back, once they are all in your car
head for where the police bribe is, pick it up and carry on to
the pay and spray.
Once you have reached the pay and spray, get in there and get
your car sprayed. Then take the robbers back to there hide out
and you have completed the mission.

Toni’s Missions (Mafia)
Taking Out The Laundry-Reward $20,000
This mission requires time and strategy; the best way to do this
mission is to make sure you have at least 15 Shotgun cartridges.
And you will also have the chance to get some grenades I suggest
you get them.
Get in a car, and head for 8 Balls, and collect the grenades,
which are there. There is no point using them, as you can never
hit a moving target with them. Now head towards one of the
laundry vans, and get out your car and shoot it twice with the
Shotgun. Do this to all of the laundry vans you need to do it
to; I think that is about 3.
Another way to do this mission is not to bump into the vans
otherwise they’ll start driving like a maniac. The idea is that
you wait until they are at red lights, and throw a grenade at the
laundry vans and they blow up!

The Pick Up-Reward $10,000
This mission requires a lot of planning, you are up against the
Triads and they are going to have to kill you.
The best way to do this mission is by car, as you will be
ambushed once you reach your destination. Make sure you have
full life, and if you can, get some body armour.
Get in your car and head to the dot on the radar. Get the
briefcase, an FMV should start, after this is finished choose one
of the alleys and run the guys down. After you get out in the
open, get inside a Triad Fish Van, and run the appropriate guys
over. After this take the money back to Tony, and you have
finished this mission.

Salvatore’s called a meeting-Reward $15,000
This mission is pretty simple, all you have to do is pick up
Joey, Luigi and Toni and take them to Salvatore’s place.
Get in a car and get over to Joeys, once you get here get inside
the building and get the Limo, when you get this Joey will come
inside with you. Now you have to go over to the Sex Club 7, to
pick up Luigi. Once you have got them two, go and pick up Toni.
Once you have picked up Toni, the triads will come after you in
their vans. Just try your best not to let them distract you and
get to the specified location. You shall notice that the drive
way is blocked by two Triad Vans, just ram straight in to them
and you are in!
Get the Limo in the Garage, and then you have completed that
Job.
*Salvatore wants you for work, don’t start his missions until you
have done Toni’s*
*Also you will have to do Salvatore’s first mission, straight
after this one to continue with Toni’s mission.*

Triads and Tribulations-Reward $30,000
On this mission you have to kill 3 Triad warlords because the
Mafia have announced war on them.
Warlord 1. Get in a car, which can carry 4 people, as you have
back up. Head for Chinatown and the first warlord is in front of
the Raffles Fish Factory. It is easy to kill him, you can run
him over, or take advantage of the fact that you have Back-up.
Warlord 2. This Warlord is in Chinatown, the same bit where Lee
Chong was in the mission:
Farewell ‘chunky’ Lee Chong.
This time get out of your car and head into the No Car zone.
When you get close enough the guys who are back up should kill
him, you just cover them.
Warlord 3. Before you start on this warlord, get a Triad Fish
Van. You will need it to get to him. As soon as you have got
the van, head for the dot. Get to the factory and kill the
warlord, this one has more sense than the others and has covered
himself, by standing behind a wall.

Blow Fish-Reward $3000
This mission is a fun one, and quite simple.
8 Ball has loaded a garbage truck with explosives, and all you
have to do is take it to the Triad Fish Factory with out bumping
into stuff all that much. Getting threw the gates should be
simple as they are expecting a garbage truck. Get round to the
Canisters and watch them explode. Now run to the gate and get
out of there.
*You have now completed Toni’s missions*

*This is the mission that has to be done, after the ‘Salvatore’s
called a meeting’*
Chaperone-Reward $10,000
Salvatore has asked you to take Maria out for the night, and you
get to use the Limo.
Maria wants to go to the Waterfront by China town to meet a
friend called Chico and drug selling freak. He tells Maria that
there is a party at the Warehouse in the Atlantic Quays.
Take Maria there and park up, she goes inside and a few minutes
later, there is a police raid. Just stay put until Maria comes
out and gets in the car. You will have a wanted level of 2
stars, but all you have to do is get back to Salvatore’s mansion
and get in the garage.

Cutting the Grass-Reward $15,000
Salvatore smells a rat, and he is working for Luigi in his Sex
Club, and he is selling info to the Cartel. The best way to do
this mission is to get to the Club and wait quite a distance
behind the Taxi that is waiting to pick him up. A few moments
later Curly (The Rat) should appear and get in the taxi. If you
look just under your health indicator, there is a thing called a
spookometer, when this goes up Curly is getting suspicious, when
it reaches its limit he knows he is being followed and decides
not to meet with the Cartel. So what you have to do is follow
him to the docks without getting that Spookometer all the way up.
Once he has reached his destination, there will be an FMV and
then you are told to kill him. Go as fast as you can at the
squealer, before he uses his shotgun.

Bomb Da Base: Act 1-Reward $0
Salvatore wants you to do a favour for him. He wants you to
destroy the Boat down at the docks with all the SPANK on. This
is a personal favour to him.
Head down to 8 Balls place, and make sure you have $100,000. Get
to the Blue Circle and talk to 8 Ball, he’ll ask you to come back
when you have the money.

Bomb Da Base: Act 2-Reward $150,000
Knock on 8 Balls door again and he will say ‘lets do this thing’
and will hand you a Sniper Rifle. Get in a car and head for the
dot on the Radar.
When you reach the Docks he will say that he will go in when you
fire the first shot.
The best vantage point on this mission is on top of the roof of
the Warehouse. It is by the entrance to the docks on the right.
You’ll see some stairs walk up them and get on the roof. Walk to
the very edge of the roof and take aim at the first guy at the
entrance on the right shoot him, and then shoot the other guy on
the left. Now work your way on shooting the other guys on the
boat to secure that 8 Ball can plant the bomb.
When you have killed all the guys, watch the cut scene. And you
have successfully completed one of the most important missions in
the game.

Last Requests-Reward $20,000
Salvatore has asked you to clear up some mess in a car.
The car is waiting for you in the Red Light District, as you
advance upon the dot you will receive a page from Maria saying
it’s a trap.
Take her advice and meet her at the docks, where she shall
introduce you to Asuka her Yakuza friend.
Drive the boat to the next island, and go and find your new
hideout and save.
*You have finished the 1st Islands missions, there is now a big
war going on between the Mafia and the Triads, and they are both
out to kill you*

After escaping from the first island you have moved to the second
island call Staunton, here you shall work for some of the
strongest gangs, but you still have to watch your back.
Asuka (Yakuza)
Sayonara Salvatore-Reward $25,000
If you don’t have a sniper rifle, I advise you to go and get one
from Ammu-nation in Staunton Island.
There are many ways of doing this mission but the easiest I found
was to go, to Luigi’s place and there is an ally just around the
corner from there, it leads to some stairs, go up these stairs
and you shall reach a buildings roof top which gives a good view
of Luigi’s place. When Salvatore comes out of Luigi’s, you can
sniper him.
*You have cleared Asukas first Mission.*

Under Surveillance-Reward $15,000
Before you start this mission, you should have at least 30 sniper
bullets and a few grenades.
These agents are, well armed but stupid.
Agent number 1.Head for the dot in Belleville Park, and get to
where the pond is. Do not go anywhere close to the to mafia guys
there. Just get out a grenade and throw it at them, this will
kill both of them instantly.
Agent number 2.These guys are hiding in a van, the idea is to
throw a grenade, at the van and watch them explode.
Agent number 3.These guys are at the building opposite the
Casino. Get where the police bribe is (just to the left). Now
get out your sniper rifle and shoot all the guys you can view
until you reach the last one. This one is well protected. So
what I did was go to your right and sniper him from there.
*Now you are able to do work for Kenji, Asukas brother.*

Paparazzi Purge-Reward $10,000
This mission is rather easy, you have to destroy a boat with a
reporter in!
Go and get the police boat, and go towards the dot, but don’t get
too close, as it will start of a chase. Now get your boat and
head around him and them come on him head on at full speed. This
should wear away a lot of his damage meter. Now start following
him shooting him using the cannons on the boat, by pressing
circle, avoiding the burning oilcans.

Pay Day for Ray-Reward $11,000
This mission if fairly easy as long as you have a car, which is
fast and does not turn over easily.
I suggest a Stinger or a taxi.
You have a time limit so move fast.
Get in a car and rush to the payphone at Torrington, when you get
there get out of your car and answer the phone, Ray shall tell
you to get to the Payphone in West Belleville park, go there.
After you get hear answer the phone you will be told to get to
the payphone in Liberty Campus, answer the phone and then get to
the pay phone in South Belleville Park, after you reach here your
time limit shall be cancelled and you will have to get to the
toilets in Belleville park.
Give him the money and you have completed this mission.
If you seem to have trouble with this mission, and the directions
to the payphones disappear. The problem you have is that the
cops are after you!

Two Faced Tanner-Reward $20,000
You can make this mission as easy or as hard as you like really.
There is the hard way to do it and the easy way to do it!
Watch out for the cops!
This is my strategy; get a police enforcer and head to the dot on
the radar. Once you have reached the dot on the map, go into the
blue circle and wait till Tanner comes out and gets into his car,
he shall start speeding away so you will have to catch up with
him pretty fast, when he goes past the water front, crash right
into him and he shall fall into the water and the mission will be
complete.
*You have now completed Asukas missions, you will expect to see
her again in the game!*

Kenji (Yakuza)
Kanbu Bust out-Reward $30,000
This mission is fairly simple.
You have been told to get a police car and get it fixed with a
bomb, now just go outside of Kenjis onto the main road. Wait
until a police car comes along and use the strategy I told you to
use to get a cop car. Now you wanted level should be 1 star, in
front of Kenjis there is a ridge and there is a police bribe
there use it and get on with the mission.
Head to the bomb shop and get your car rigged with a bomb, and
then get to the destination, which is the police station. Go
into the circle and set the bomb off and run!
Once the bomb has gone off get in the Enforcer and collect the
prisoner, now get to the pay and spray, you shall notice that you
can’t get your van sprayed, so get in the Blista parked in the
open garage opposite to the pay and spray, and spray it. Now
take man to the Hyaku Dojo, and you have successfully completed
the first mission of Kenjis.

Grand Theft Auto-Reward $25,000
You have 6 Minutes to jack 3 cars from 3 different destinations,
sounds easy?
Well its not, you can’t crash the car because he won’t accept it
and you will have to get it sprayed which wastes time!
I have done the car orders in the easiest locations to get
them.
Car 1.The first car is a stinger in Bedford point, go and get it
and take it back to the garage.
Car 2.The second car is an Infernus it is at the football stadium
in Aspatria. Take it back to the garage.
Car 3.The last car is a Cheetah; it is parked in the car park of
the hospital in Rockford.
You have now completed this mission!
*When you get your car sprayed, it wastes time I suggest you
drive carefully. I had one minute left at the end of the
mission, you should aim for about 20-60 seconds left*

Deal Steal-Reward $25,000
This is one of the easiest and best missions in the game.
As soon as you go out of the casino you are bound to notice
Yardie Lobos driving about.
Steal one of the Lobos and go and pick up the contact and drive
to the parking lot in the hospital.
When you arrive beep the horn (which is really the Hydraulics),
and the deal starts, run over the entire load of Cartel men and
throw a grenade into the cars. Take the Briefcase that you
obtained, back to the casino and you have completed the
mission.

Shima-Reward $10,000
This is another good mission; you have to go around the island
collecting the protection money.
Place 1.Get to Torrington, and collect the briefcase.
Place 2. Head to Bedford place and collect the Briefcase.
Place 3.Belleville Park is the next place, but the place where
you have to get the money from has been robbed. You have to head
over to Portland and get to the Diablos turf. You have to kill
some Diablos and get the briefcase and get back to Kenjis.
Mission complete

Smack Down-Reward $10,000 and you shall get an extra $1000 for
every Yardie you kill after the original 8.
This mission is quite hard and shall probably take a while to
complete. The best strategy I used was to get into a taxi and do
it because the handling and speed are very good and it takes a
lot to make them blow up.
The Yardies will shoot at you, but if you destroy them fast this
should not be a problem!

Ray (Bent Cop)
Silence the Sneak-Reward $30,000
This mission is quite hard, but I have found a way to make it
easier.
Go to the Army Place, and get the Barracks OL and drive it to the
destination, you’ll see a garage near the window where you have
to throw the grenades in.
Block that garage way with the truck and go and get the Blista
parked in the open Garage. Do the same with the blista as what
you id with the Barracks OL, and throw the grenade in the window.
Now the Mcaffey guy will be in his car trying to ram the two
vehicles out of the way of his garage. Get a grenade or a
Molotov cocktail and throw it in there this should destroy the
vehicle with him in it.

Arm Shortage-Reward $10,000
Phil is the guy who owns the army store where you got the
Barracks OL for on the last mission.
Get to the army store and talk to Phil he will tell you to grab
any weapons you have. If you jump on top of a vehicle you will
be able o reach the rocket launcher.
I found this mission easier if you do not set up a barricade to
stop the cartel getting in. I would equip yourself with your
Shotgun, and shoot any of the cartel coming in. After a few
minutes they shall stop coming but you have not been told that
the mission is finished. This is because there are usually men
hiding down the ally, or pathway on the left of the Barracks OL.
Kill them and you should of finished the mission. From now on
you can buy rocket launchers, M16 and the AK-47.

Evidence Dash Reward-$10,000
This is a good mission, to put your good driving skills to the
test.
Get into a good fast car, which dos not blow up easily, I suggest
a taxi. Go and find the truck that is carrying the evidence and
bash into it. You will immediately get a two stars, keep bashing
the truck and collecting the evidence and go to a quiet place and
blow up the car that you were in and you will have completed the
mission.

Gone Fishing-Reward $15,000
Go to the dot on the map, it takes you to a police boat, get in
it and drive to Rays ‘partner’ use the cannons and blow up his
boat, you will see that he is chucking explosives behind to blow
you up.
Keep on shooting the boat until it blows up, which shouldn’t take
long as it is very slow.

Plaster Blaster-Reward $15,000
I found this mission quite hard the second time I did it, the
first time I did it no problem.
Get into a fast car like the stinger and head towards the
ambulance with the witness inside. Gain speed on the ambulance
and turn around and hit him head on, the witness should bail.
It’s going to be a bit hard killing the witness with your wanted
level so I would go and get your car sprayed.
After having your car sprayed I would hurry back and get out your
Rockets launcher, grenade or anything explosive and this should
destroy his ‘armour’ and he will die.

Donald Love (Love Media)
Liberator-Reward $40,000
On this mission you have to rescue an oriental friend of
Donald’s, you shall need tactics for this mission.
First of all steal a Cartel Cruiser you can find them circling
the construction yard!
Then once you have one go to the Entrance of the place where the
oriental man is being held, get out of your Cruiser and get out
your sniper and shoot the cartel members you can see.
Then get in to your cruiser and go threw the gates and shoot the
other men using the sniper. Get back into your vehicle and
search the surrounding garages for the man. He is held in one of
the garages with a cartel member, kill the cartel member and get
the Oriental man in your car and drive him to Donald Love.

Waka-Gashira Wipeout-Reward $30,000
*Before doing this mission, please make sure you have completed
Kenji’s missions*
Get another Cartel Cruiser for this mission and head to the
multi-Storey.
Just before you reach the top floor make sure you are going fast,
and get up the ramp and run over Kenji, if you had enough speed
this should have killed him first time.
Get out of the multi-storey and get out of Newport get rid of
your car and blow it up this should get rid of the wanted
level.

A drop in the Ocean-Reward $10,000
*Before you start this mission I suggest that you get a Barracks
OL or an Enforcer*
You are timed with two minutes to get to the dot, so I would get
there quite fast but still trying not to damage your vehicle.
Once you have got there steal about and get underneath the
Callahan Bridge, wait until the Dodo comes and get the packages
it drops, and you should have a 5 start wanted level. This is
where the Enforcer or barracks OL comes in handy. You should
have parked it so that you can get back to it, I suggest parking
it outside Asuka’s condo. Get back to your vehicle and head back
to Donald Loves place, you should notice that because you have
armoured vehicles that the FBI cars that come after you just
bounce off.
Take the packages back to Donald.

Shoreside Vale
Donald Love (Love Media)
Grand Theft Aero-Reward $50,000
This mission is quite difficult and contains a lot of skill!
Head to Francis International Airport in Shoreside Vale, and get
to the hanger where the Cartel is hiding. Do not get in there
firing range, but make sure you know where the bullets are coming
from. Get out your Rocket Launcher or Grenades and Aim at the
place where the bullets are coming from when all the people are
dead inside, get into the dodo. You shall be told that, the
package isn’t in there, and that you should try the van. You
realise that it is something to do with the construction yard.
Head back to the construction yard, and make sure you have about
20 sniper bullets.
Once you are at the construction yard stand in the place where
left side of the big building is. Get out your sniper and snipe
all of the people you can see. Then get in your vehicle and
drive around to the entrance of the little blue compound. Get
quite far away and shoot the guys you can see there. There is a
guy hiding in the corner, throw a grenade there and this should
kill him. Then get one of the Panlantic construction vans and
head to the right side of the compound and jump on top of the van
and snipe all of the guys you see there.
This should be all the guys; you shall receive a message saying
head to the lift, so get there and watch the FMV sequence.
*You shall now be able to do jobs for Asuka, but finish Donald’s
missions first*

Escort Service-Reward $40,000
This mission is quite easy; all you have to do is protect the
oriental man and the package by following the Securicar.
Get in a fast car but one, which is quite armoured, and follow
the oriental man.
The cartel should come after you so what I do is ram them and
they get smashed into the oncoming traffic. Then when you are in
the underground tunnel do the same.
Once you are out of the tunnel just follow it and it should reach
its destination in one piece.

Decoy-Reward $45,000
This mission is actually quite easy.
Get to the AMCO Building in shoreside vale and get into the
securicar. Then head to the airport, this is a big area and just
drive around in circles, until the time limit expires. This
should complete the mission very quickly.

Loves Disappearance-Reward $0
Donald Love has seemed to have vanished, you are not told to do
anything for this mission, so just forget about it!

Asuka (Yakuza)
Bait-Reward $35,000
This mission is fairly hard, as you need to use your driving
skills to the best ability!
As this mission is hard to explain I’ll just say the basics.
You have to go to shoreside vale and lead the first car to the
yakuzas, and they shall blow it up, do this with all 3 cars.
Try not to let the cars that are following you fall of the edge
and blow up, as you shall fail the mission. The best way to do
this mission is not to go to far in front of the car!

Espresso to Go-Reward $40,000
This mission is very interesting, but requires patience. First
of all go to the first island and find the two coffee stands
there. Then go to the second island then find the 5 stands
there. After you have done this go to the 1st island again and
destroy the two stands there. Then go to the second island and
destroy the ones there. Then on the third island destroy the two
there. The reason I said not to go to the 3rd island was because
there are only two there and they are about 4-5 blocks away from
each other.
Stand locations:
Portland-
The docks in Trenton,
Opposite Salvatore’s mansion.
Staunton-
The car park in Newport (near the multi-storey),
In the park in Belleville,
Out side the church in Bedford Point,
Around the back of the Church,
Near the statue in Torrington.
Shoreside vale-
The subway in Francis international airport.
At the hospital in Pike Creek

S.A.M-Reward $45,000
Get the boat and head to the marker buoy, then get your boat on
the ramp and get out your sniper rifle. Snipe the 3 guards by
the cartel cruiser; the cruiser shall be your escape vehicle.
Get onto the runway and get out your rocket launcher. Get ready
for the plane to come and then shoot it down, after this get the
stash and get in the cruiser and head for the construction yard.
This Last bit when you have to deliver the stash is hard as you
have a wanted level. The best way I found was to weave in and
out of cars and then you shall reach the construction yard in one
piece.
When you get to the construction yard, you see Miguel and Asuka
dead, and there is a note. It says that Catalina has got Maria
and wants $500,000 ransom.

Catalina (Cartel)
The Exchange-Reward £1,000,000
(This mission is easier to do in a tank)
Go to the Mansion in Shoreside Vale, and make sure you have
$500,000. Once you are there you will loose all of your weapons.
Once you have lost your weapons and you will see a FMV sequence.
After the FMV sequence you will have a Handgun, now run to the
garage with the cruiser inside and pick up the Body Armour and
get in the truck. Hurry to the gate and run over any Cartel
members you see once you are outside the mansion, you shall see
Catalina go off in a Helicopter. Follow the Helicopter; you have
seven minutes to kill Catalina. Once you have got to the right
place you shall notice that there is a Barricade, hit the two
cartel cruisers that shall run the two guys over (Takes a lot of
practice). Get the two guys AK’s.
On the next barricade, get out of there site and auto aim using
the AK, this should kill the other guys at the barricade.
On the right before the barricade there is a sniper rifle, pick
it up and carry on to the dam. Shoot the guys who are standing
on the towers and who are standing on the big boxes with the
sniper rifle.
Now with the Ak kill the other guys from a distance and make your
way to the dot on the radar. A Barracks OL shall come after you
now, but the rockets that are being fired from the helicopter
blows it up. Now kill the guys who are holding Maria hostage.
Then get the rocket launcher and shoot the helicopter down.
*You have now cleared the story mode*

Turismo-Reward $10,000
This mission is basically a race, I can’t really tell you much
about it.

You Scream, I Scream-Reward $6,000
This mission is one of my favourites. All you have to do is
steal an Ice Cream Van and put a bomb in it.
Go and get the briefcase from the dot on the radar, and then head
out to get the ice cream van. Now take the ice cream van to the
specified place, park it and arm the bomb then get away to a safe
position. When you see the guys detonate the bomb and you shall
finish the mission.

Trial By fire-Reward $10,000
Go and get the flamethrower and get to China Town. Kill 25
triads to complete this mission.

Big ‘N Veiny-Reward $15,000
This mission takes some mastering. Go and get in the van and
start following the van with all the XXX mags in. Whilst picking
up the trail of Mags. You shall eventually reach Portland
harbour, where you kill the guy and drive the mags back to the
XXX shop.

Marty Chonks-B**** ‘n dog food
The Crook-Reward $1,000
Get in Martys Car and get to where the bank manager is waiting.
Take him back to Marty. After you have done this go and get the
car crushed.

The Thieves-Reward $3,000
Go and get in Martys car and pick up the thieves, take them back
to Marty. Go and get the car sprayed to get rid of any
evidence.

The Wife-Reward $2,000
Go and get Martys wife, firstly by getting Martys car and then
going to collect her. Then take her back to Marty. Marty will
tell you to go and push the car into the sea. Go and find some
water and park the car to the edge of the water, then run into
the pack of the car this shall push the car into the water.

Her Lover-Reward $4,000
Go and get Martys stallion and pick up Martys wife’s lover, take
him back to the factory and Marty will be waiting outside, he
will get killed by Martys wife’s lover.

Drive to Portland to the Diablo turf, and kill 10 Diablos using

You have to get the following cars to the Garage in Staunton
Island:
Sentinel-Mafia can be found at Salvatore’s place.
Yakuza Stinger-Can be found around Asukas place.
Diablo Stallion-Can be found near Mistys apartment.
Take all these cars to the garage to complete the mission.

Kingdom Come-Reward $10,000
King Courtney has double-crossed you, and wants you dead Catalina
has set up a car in a car park as a trap. When you enter the car
all the exits in the car park shall be shut off by vans with guys
high on spank. You have to destroy the vans, so I would run out
of the car park quickly before the guys can blow you up.
Get to a good spot where you can fire rockets at the vans, and
sniper the guys. Destroy the van and you should complete the
mission.
Just take your time with this mission.

Uzi Money-Reward $10,000
This mission is harder than the drive-by mission you had to do
for the Yardies. You have to kill 20 purple nines in two
minutes.
Get a car, and drive slowly spraying bullets at the Path, killing
as many people as you can especially the Purple nines.

Toyminator-Reward $5,000
Go and get the Toyz van and destroy the armoured vehicles. You
are only limited with 4 cars, so you are able to blow up one
accidentally, but anymore than that you loose the mission.

Rigged to blow-Reward $20,000
In this mission you have to take D-ices car, which has been
rigged with a bomb, to St Marks in Portland to be defused. If
you crash the car too many times the car shall blow and the
mission will end.
Get the car to St Marks, don’t worry about the Mafia they shall
not shoot at you on this mission. When you have defused the bomb
take it back to D-Ice.

Bullion Run-Reward $25,000
On this mission you have to collect 30 pieces of Platinum and
take it to D-ices lock-up. The Platinum weighs down your car so
you are better off getting a van, also if you get too much
Platinum the cops shall try to stop you, until you drop it off.
Get 30 pieces and ten you will have completed that mission.

Rumble-Reward $10,000
This is the last mission of this walkthrough; you have to go and
pick-up D-Ices brother and fight with the Purple nines. You are
only allowed to use a baseball bat.
Go to the dot on the map where you have to fight them and start
battering them, the good thing about the baseball bat is that
with one swing you can knock many people down. After you have
killed them all you will have completed the mission.

*******HOW TO FLY THE DODO SUCESSFULLY!!*******

1. Locations of Dodo
There are 3 different locations in the airport (Shoreside Vale)
where a clipped-wing dodo can be found:
a) Hangar- Go in through the airport entrance and follow the road
round that goes past the car park where the infernus can
be found and smash through the barrier in front. You
should then see some hangars in front of you, go to the
third one on the right and the Dodo will be inside it.
b) Near a jet- Same route as first location but instead of turning to
the hangar continue on down the road, which will curve
to the left and then to the right. Then take a left
past the jet(on left) and the dodo will be in front
of you.
c) Near helipad- (This is the one I usually get) Same route as first
but drive past the front of the third hangar and
follow the road round and take a right at the T-
junction and then a left and it should be in front
of a helipad.

2. Take-off
**************************************************************
Note- ill be giving directions that assume you are using the
D-pad. If you are using the analogue stick then up and down
controls will be opposite, but right and left directions are
the same for both.
**************************************************************
There are two main runways: One of them is what the 747s
use to take off and one that no aircraft use. When I first learnt
to fly I used the same runway as the 747s but now that I can
keep the plane level even when the strong wind (that you get
when taking off on the small runway) I take off on the small
runway. But I would strongly advise you to start on the larger
runway to practice the basics.
Follow these steps for an easy take off:
1) Face the Dodo towards Staunton Island. Hold X and
R1 for about 5 seconds so the engine will be revved
up and ready to go.
2) Once it is revved release R1 and immediately hold
Down.
3) Whilst still holding X and Down the dodo will be
picking up speed. There will be two key signals
that will tell you when you should let go off Down
and take off. You will see sparks coming out the
bottom of the plane where it is scraping along the
floor, you will also be able to hear it scrapping along
the runway. When you see/hear this let go of Down
(DON’T PRESS UP!)
4) As soon as you are airborne slowly tap Down to
keep the plane level (NOTE:DON’T HOLD DOWN
JUST TAP). You will need to tap Down once or twice
right at the begging of take off to gain enough height.

Note: Whilst in the air the plane will start to go down,
DON’T PANIC just wait for the wind to catch the plane
And you will start to rise again, again you will have to
Tap Down 1-3 times to level the plane out again.
If the plane starts to tip to the left TAP right a couple of
times, if it tips to the right TAP left a couple of times.
the main thing to remember is to keep the plane parallel
to the ground and DON’T PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Turning
Now that you’re in the air, you’re flying level, you
suddenly face a new problem..... a building.
1) Do not hold right or left, simply TAP - If you do
hold right or left, you could end up spinning out
of control. Only once you mastered turning is
when you can hold right or left. I wouldn’t even
call it holding, more like a long tap
2) Correct the oversteer - If you are turning but you
have turned the Dodo too much, you must correct
this with the opposite direction you just pressed.
E.g, if you wanted to turn left, and the
Dodo turns left too far, then you must tap right
to get it flying straight again.
3) Know your turns - In order to turn successfully
without crashing, you must give yourself enough
time to turn. Trying to turn the Dodo too quickly
will make you crash. Make sure you know where
you want to go and any obstacles that could
hinder your flying.
Turning is not difficult once you get use to it.
Just always remember to TAP and never hold.

4. What to do and what not to do when airborne
What to do:
1) Hold down during take-off.
2) TAP down to correct altitude.
3) TAP right or left to turn.
4) Relax
What not to do
1) NEVER press up, except when landing and
performing IAG.
2) NEVER hold anything(apart from X)
3) Turn too quickly.
4) Release the gas.
5) DO NOT FLY OVER UNIQUE JUMPS.
Doing so will cause you to crash and you’ll
have to start over.
6) DO NOT FLY OFF THE EDGE OF
THE MAP. Doing so will crash your game,
and you will have to reset.
7) PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Things to do once you can fly
1) Try to land in the Stadium
2) Fly underneath the main bridges
3) Fly to the Ghost town
4) See what is on top of Kenji’s casino(the other
building not the one you can get up on foot)
5) Fly around the whole city and land back in the

6) See how long you can fly for (my best is 609
secs)

bottom of the plane where it is scraping along the
floor, you will also be able to hear it scrapping along
the runway. When you see/hear this let go of Down
(DON’T PRESS UP!)
4) As soon as you are airborne slowly tap Down to
keep the plane level (NOTE:DON’T HOLD DOWN
JUST TAP). You will need to tap Down once or twice
right at the begging of take off to gain enough height.

Note: Whilst in the air the plane will start to go down,
DON’T PANIC just wait for the wind to catch the plane
And you will start to rise again, again you will have to
Tap Down 1-3 times to level the plane out again.
If the plane starts to tip to the left TAP right a couple of
times, if it tips to the right TAP left a couple of times.
the main thing to remember is to keep the plane parallel
to the ground and DON’T PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Turning
Now that you’re in the air, you’re flying level, you
suddenly face a new problem..... a building.
1) Do not hold right or left, simply TAP - If you do
hold right or left, you could end up spinning out
of control. Only once you mastered turning is
when you can hold right or left. I wouldn’t even
call it holding, more like a long tap
2) Correct the oversteer - If you are turning but you
have turned the Dodo too much, you must correct
this with the opposite direction you just pressed.
E.g, if you wanted to turn left, and the
Dodo turns left too far, then you must tap right
to get it flying straight again.
3) Know your turns - In order to turn successfully
without crashing, you must give yourself enough
time to turn. Trying to turn the Dodo too quickly
will make you crash. Make sure you know where
you want to go and any obstacles that could
hinder your flying.
Turning is not difficult once you get use to it.
Just always remember to TAP and never hold.

4. What to do and what not to do when airborne
What to do:
1) Hold down during take-off.
2) TAP down to correct altitude.
3) TAP right or left to turn.
4) Relax
What not to do
1) NEVER press up, except when landing and
performing IAG.
2) NEVER hold anything(apart from X)
3) Turn too quickly.
4) Release the gas.
5) DO NOT FLY OVER UNIQUE JUMPS.
Doing so will cause you to crash and you’ll
have to start over.
6) DO NOT FLY OFF THE EDGE OF
THE MAP. Doing so will crash your game,
and you will have to reset.
7) PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Things to do once you can fly
1) Try to land in the Stadium
2) Fly underneath the main bridges
3) Fly to the Ghost town
4) See what is on top of Kenji’s casino(the other
building not the one you can get up on foot)
5) Fly around the whole city and land back in the
airport.
6) See how long you can fly for (my best is 609
secs)
