1. Celestial Weapons

Every character has his or her own celestial weapon, but you must meet certain requirements for these weapons. To begin with, the only advantage of having one of these weapons is that they can penetrate any armour. Unfortunately, each of these weapons has the NO AP ability. You will need certain items to remove this disadvantage and power it up.

Crest and Sigil:

Each weapon has a specific Crest and Sigil to power it up. Usually, the crest is a lot easier to obtain than the Sigil. Using the crest to power up a weapon will only give it the double overdrive ability. It will also enable a certain Aeon to break the damage limit of 9999. However your weapon must be equipped for this to work.
After obtaining the Sigil, the weapon will obtain its maximum power, and you will not need it to be equipped for the Aeons to be able to break the damage limit.

Damage:
Each celestial weapon loses and gains power depending on your characters HP. If Tidus, Kimarhi, Rikku or Wakka lose HP, then their weapon will be less effective. However with Auron, the less HP he has the stronger his weapon becomes. If Auron is in critical HP he will be almost twice as powerful.
Yuna and Lulus power depends on the amount of MP they have. The more MP, the stronger their weapon.

The Cloudy Mirror:
In order to obtain the cloudy mirror, which is necessary for the Celestial weapons, you must win the Chocobo race beneath Remiem temple (see the mini games section).

The Celestial Mirror:
Once you have the cloudy mirror, go to Macalania woods. Go to the south section of the woods and you will see a woman and her child. Talk to them, and they will explain that they are waiting for her husband. If you go to the campsite area near the spring, you will find him. Explain that his wife and kid are waiting and he will go to them. Then go back to where they were, and you will find that the kid has gone off. If you go along the sparkling path you will find him. Talk to him and then examine the large crystal thing. The cloudy mirror will now turn into the Celestial Mirror. You must return to this crystal whenever you wish to power up your weapons with the respective Crest or Sigil.

Tidus: Caladbolg
Abilities: Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Evade and Counter, Magic Counter

In the north west of the calm lands, you will find a slope going down with a guard in front of it. Every time you win a Catcher Chocobo race the man will leave his post. Sun Crest: Zanarkand Dome- The beyond

Wakka: World Champion
Abilities: Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, Evade and Counter

Talk to the person behind the counter in Luca Cafe. If you have the Celestial Mirror, and you have come in at least third place in a league or tournament, then you will be presented with the World Champion. World Champion allows Ifrit to break the damage limit.
Jupiter Crest: Luca Stadium- Locker Room
Go to Luca and into the Besaid Aurochs locker room. The crest is in one of the lockers.
Jupiter Sigil: Blitzball
You cannot get the Sigil, until Wakka has learned all of his Overdrives. Check the overdrive section to see how to get these. Once you have all Overdrives for Wakka, there is a 50% chance of the Jupiter Sigil being offered as a first place prize in the next League Season. A handy trick to ensure you get the Jupiter Sigil as a prize is, save your game before playing the 10th game of the previous league. Then finish the last game and check the prizes for the next league. If Jupiter Sigil is not offered, simply reload your saved game, and try again.

2. Overdrives

You can get the Attack reels by coming in first place in a Tournament with that as the prize.

Rikku: Mix
Rikkus overdrive involves you selecting two items from your inventory and mixing them together for unusual combinations. Because there are so many possible combinations of items, I am not going to list them. You can find a list of them at www.gamefaqs.com, or www.ffx-europe.com.

3. Secret Aeons

Aside from the five necessary Aeons, there are three very powerful secret Aeons.

Yojimbo:
Yojimbo is the weakest of the secret Aeons. Whenever you summon him, you will have to pay him gil. Depending on how much you give him, he will use one of four attacks.
1. Daigoro- Yojimbo sends his dog to attack the enemy. Mild damage.
2. Kozuka- Yojimbo throws three knifes at one enemy.
3. Wakizashi- Yojimno slashes across and damages all enemies.
4. Zanmato- Yojimbo runs up and slices at the enemies. The enemies are instantly defeated. Even works on bosses.
You will find Yojimbo in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, beneath the Calm Lands. If you follow the tunnel to the end, you will reach a teleport pad. Teleport forward to the chamber of the fayth. When you reach the chamber, you will have to buy Yojimbo. At first you will be given three choices. If you select “To defeat the most powerful of enemies” you will get the lowest price. It will also increase the chance of Yojimbo using Zanmato. Yojimbo will ask for 250,000 gil. If you don’t have that much, or you’d rather not give him so much, you can offer him half of what he wants, +1. So you would offer him 125,001 gil. Yojimbo will lower his price. Then offer him 150,002. And then finally offer him 175,003. Yojimbo will make one final offer of 203,000 gil. This is the best you are going to get, so you should accept this.
If you pay Yojimbo three times the amount he requests, you will be given two teleport spheres. If you have the airship when you get him, you will get a strength sphere.

Anima:
Anima can be found in Baaj Temple (see the airship section). In order to enter the chamber of the faith, you must have taken the treasure chest from every temple in Spira after having used the destruction sphere there. Once you have done so, examine the statues in the Antechamber of Baaj temple. The seal at the back will disappear. Anima is the only secret Aeon that used normal battle commands.
Anima can use pain, which deals death and big damage. When his strength stat reaches 255, his overdrive is the most powerful attack in the game.

The Magus Sisters:
The Magus Sisters: Cindy, Sandy and Mindy can be found in Remiem Temple. In order to reach the chamber of the faith, you must acquire two items. The flower Sceptre from Belgemine, and the Blossom Crown from the monster arena after capturing one of every fiend on Mt Gagazet. You cannot plan their actions in battle completely. You will be given options in battle like this.
Go Go!- Use offensive magic and skills.
Help each other- Use healing magic.
Defense- Use support magic.
Are you all right?- Absorb HP and MP from enemy.
Fight!- The Sisters physically attack.
Do as you will- Let the sisters do what they want.
One more time- Ask the sisters to repeat their previous action.
Combine Powers- Ask the sisters to use their overdrive.
Dismiss- Send the sisters away.

“Taking a break”- Sometimes after selecting an option, the sisters will ignore you and the words “taking a break” will appear on your screen. When this happens, the sister will not attack and the turn will be wasted.
Delta Attack: This is the sister’s overdrive. It consists of several attack based on Cindy’s strength level.
Cindy’s Attacks:

Calm Lands- Chocobo Training:
Talk to the chocobo trainer in the calm lands. If you have the airship she will be just south of the travel agency. You will be given four challenges.
1. Wobbly Chocobo: Guide a chocobo over the finish line in less than 12.8 seconds. Once you have done this, you can ride a chocobo in the calm lands.
2. Dodger Chocobo: Head to the finish line and dodge the balls that are thrown at you.
3. Hyper Dodger Chocobo: Identical to dodger chocobo, except you must dodge balls and birds.
4. Catcher Chocobo: Race against the chocobo trainer to the finish line. Collect balloons and 3 seconds will be deducted from your time. If you collide with birds, you will be stunned and time will be added to your total at the end. In order to win the Sun Sigil, you will need to have finished the race in less than 36 seconds, and have collected 13 balloons without having hit a bird. If you take longer than 36 seconds, you will need more balloons.

Remiem Temple- Chocobo Race:
In order to reach Remiem temple, you must get a Chocobo from the Chocobo section and go to the south east of the Calm Lands near the entrance to Macalania. You will see a chocobo feather on the ground near a small cliff. Examine it, and your chocobo will jump over the gap and land on a ledge. Dismount your chocobo, and head north. You will be at Remiem temple.
To start the race, go across the bridge, and examine the sphere on the west of the temple. Then go and speak with the chocobo on the east side of the temple. You will then race against the other chocobo. You will need to win the race without opening a treasure chest on the way to receive the cloudy mirror. If you touch any of the rods, a treasure chest will be deducted from your score.

Lightning will not strike in all parts of the plains, and it seems to differ every time you go into it. A good thing to do is to position Tidus between a Cactuar stone and a wall so that he cannot jump back after dodging a bolt. Go to the south of the thunder plains and keep onto the right. You will find a small piece of land with a Cactuar stone and a wall that is perfect.

10.Sanubia Desert- West- Next to Cactuar Stone. The Cactuar will appear next to you.

Whenever you find a gatekeeper, you will have to play a game. Run to the Cactuar when it is looking away from Tidus. When it looks at you, stay still. If you reach it within the time limit, you will have to fight it. After the battle, you will receive a sphere with the Cactuars name on. Insert it into the Cactuar stone, and you can then look for the next Cactuar.
When you have inserted all the spheres, the sandstorm will stop and you can enter the valley. You will find one chest containing the Mercury Sigil. Another chest further to the north contains an item depending on how many gatekeepers you caught.

MALBORO MENACE
HP: 640,000 MP: 200
Strength: 60 Defence: 25 Magic: 53 Magic Defence: 63 Weak against Fire
Agility: 34 Luck: 15 Evasion:0 Accuracy: 120 Absorbs Water

Agility: 36 Luck: 25 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150

Agility: 75 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 100
Steal: Farplane Windx2 Rare: Blessed Gem x1 Drop: Shining Gem x3
Couerlregina uses fairly weak black magic spells against your party. You should cast shell to reduce it further. Hyper Blaster will inflict death on one character. She will use Chaos, which will cast Doom, Curse and Confuse. If you have deathproof, curseproof and confuseproof this will be no problem.

JORMUNGAND
HP: 520,000 MP: 63

Cactuar King is very fast and has extremely high evasion, magic, magic defence and strength. Most of the time you will not be able to hit him. Magic is quite useless :). He is immune to all elements including Holy. Aim is very necessary. He uses 99,999 needles about 50% of the time. Sometimes he will use 10,000 needles, and rarely he will run away! Attack Reels is probably the only way to go about this battle. All aeons except the Magus Sisters are pretty useless; 99,999 needles = instant death. Unless you are using their overdrives. Luckily, Cactuar Kings HP is nothing too significant. With Strength of about 150, a perfect attack reels should dispatch him instantly.

ESPADA
HP: 280,000 MP: 0
Strength: 44 Defence: 100 Magic: 31 Magic Defence: 160
Agility: 51 Luck: 15 Evasion: 12 Accuracy: 100
Steal: Farplane Shadow x4 Rare: Farplane Wind x1 Drop: Rename Card x1
Very easy. His death counter attack can be prevented with Deathproof, Auto Life or Auto Phoenix. If your evasion is high enough you can avoid this completely. All breaks will work against him, and slow will work half of the time.

ABYSS WORM
HP: 480,000 MP: 200
Strength: 60 Defence: 24 Magic: 93 Magic Defence: 63
Agility: 22 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 120
Steal: Shadow Gem x4 Rare: Stamina Tablet x1 Drop: Stamina Tonic x1
Size doesn’t matter against this pushover. His defence is so low, that as long as you have break damage limit, then this battle will be over very quickly. Definitely one of the easiest creations.

CHIMERAGEIST
HP: 120,000 MP: 30
Strength: 66 Defence: 10 Magic: 68 Magic Defence: 10 Immune to all
Agility: 29 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 180. elements.
Steal: Mana Spring x2 Rare: Stamina Spring x2 Drop: Return Sphere x1
Since this is probably the first creation you will fight, he is ridiculously easy. Defence and magic defence is pathetic. Have Water Eater in your armour to absorb his aqua breath attack, and Fire Eater to absorb his megidon flame. You will not find an easier arena creation.

DON TONBERRY
HP: 480,000 MP: 120
Strength: 95 Defence: 100 Magic: 75 Magic Defence: 100
Agility: 37 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 80
Steal: Candle of life x2 Rare: Designer Wallet x1 Drop: Farplane Wind x3
Like with all Tonberry’s, Don Tonberry starts at the far side of the screen, and walks a little closer to you with each turn. If you attack him when he is far away from you, he will counter with Karma. The more monster you have defeated, the more damage this does. So you are more likely to die at high levels. When he is close to you, he will stop using Karma. Try summoning an Aeon, you will find that they don’t last very long at all :)

CATOBLEPAS
HP: 550,000 MP: 160
Strength: 76 Defence: 33 Magic: 58 Magic Defence: 27
Agility: 47 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 180
Steal: Healing Spring x3 Rare: Stamina Tonic x1 Drop: Three Stars x1
Catoblepas has 50% resistance to all breaks, so it would be advised to use them. Fight him like you would a regular behemoth. Ensure that you cast Shell before you kill him, since he will cast Ultima as a final attack.

ABADDON
HP: 380,000 MP: 780
Strength: 40 Defence: 180 Magic: 95 Magic Defence: 160
Agility: 120 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 130
Steal: Purifying Salt x3 Rare: Shining Gem x1 Drop: Mana Tablet x1
Abaddon will attack you with Firaga, Thundaga, Blizzaga, Waterga, Flare and Demi. He will use Pharaohs Curse (like Demonolith) so protect yourself with Blindproof, poisonproof and curseproof. Do not use magic, since he has protective measures in place. Use Hastega and Quick hits.

VORBAN
HP: 630,000 MP: 120
Strength: 95 Defence: 100 Magic: 75 Magic Defence: 100
Agility: 33 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 80
Steal: Healing Spring x2 Rare: Stamina Tablet x1 Drop: Friend Sphere x1
Vorban is immune to all breaks. You will want to be able to deal 99,999 or this fight will take a very long time. Vorban has all the attacks that a
Barbatos does. The chance of him countering your attacks is completely random. Only doom will affect him, with a countdown of 200.

Aside from area conquest creations, there are also species conquest creations that are created after you get a certain amount of fiends from the same species. A battle with these will cost you 8,000 gil.

FENRIR
HP: 850,000 MP: 300
Strength: 73 Defence: 40 Magic: 12 Magic Defence: 165 Half damage from
Agility: 200 Luck: 30 Evasion: 60 Accuracy: 200 all elements.
Steal: Chocobo Feather x2 Rare: Chocobo Wing x1 Drop: Agility Sphere x1
Capture three of the following to unlock Fenrir and be rewarded with 99 Chocobo Feathers. Dingo (Besaid), Mi’hen Fang (Mi’hen Highroad), Garm (Djose Road), Snow Wolf (Macalania), Sand Wolf (Bikanel), Skoll (Calm Lands) and Bandersnatch (Mt Gagazet).
Fenrir is extremely fast and his attacks are deadly. One will inflict guaranteed death on a character, even on Aeons. The other will inflict damage over 15,000 and confuse. The chances of Mental and Armour break working are extremely slim. Anima should use Oblivion to destroy Fenrir. The Magus Sisters are your best option to win this battle. Just keep using their specials.

ORNITHOLESTES
HP: 800,000 MP: 300
Strength: 83 Defence: 55 Magic: 30 Magic Defence: 170 Absorbs Fire
Agility: 130 Luck: 20 Evasion: 80 Accuracy: 200 Immune to Water
Steal: Rename Card x1 Rare: Chocobo Wing x1 Drop: Gamblers Spirit x2
Capture three of the following to unlock Ornitholestes and be rewarded with 99 stamina springs. Dinonix (Kilika), Ipiria (Mi’hen Highroad), Raptor (Mushroom rock road), Melusine (Thunder Plains), Yowie (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth) and Zaurus (Omega Dungeon).
Compared to Fenrir, Ornitholestes is quite easy. He is quite evasive, but not very strong or fast. He will use an attack that drains your HP, and one that inflicts poison. Just use Attack Reels, Blitz Ace and your Aeons.

PTERYX
HP: 100,000 MP: 0
Strength: 90 Defence: 100 Magic: 5 Magic Defence: 100
Agility: 60 Luck: 15 Evasion: 60 Accuracy: 200
Steal: Smoke Bomb x4 Rare: Candle of Life x1 Drop: Evasion Sphere x1
Capture four of the following fiends to unlock Pteryx and be rewarded with 99 Mega Phoenixes. Condor (Besaid), Simurgh (Djose Road) and Alcyone (Bikanel).
Pteryx is in a constant regen effect. He is vunerable to doom and all break effects. Quite slow, very evasive. His beak attack inflicts curse. Very easy.

HORNET
HP: 620,000 MP: 180
Strength: 63 Defence: 70 Magic: 88 Magic Defence: 95
Agility: 102 Luck: 33 Evasion: 17 Accuracy: 160
Steal: Poison Fang x4 Rare: Purifying Salt x2 Drop: Accuracy Sphere x1
Capture four of the following fiends to unlock Hornet and be rewarded with 60 Mana Tonics. Killer Bee (Kilika), Bite Bug (Djose Road), Wasp (Macalania) and Nebiros (Macalania).
Hornets physical attacks inflicts Sleep, Silence, Blind and Death on a single character. He has a poison stinger and an instant death sting attack. Hornet will never miss you, so do not rely on evasion :). Hornet is quite a tough fiend, and you should not attempt to beat him until your stats are well into three digits.

VIDATU
HP: 95,000 MP: 840
Strength: 12 Defence: 230 Magic: 77 Magic Defence: 230
Agility: 33 Luck: 15 Evasion: 80 Accuracy: 110
Steal: Lightning Gem x4 Rare: Mana Tonic x1 Drop: MP Sphere x1
Capture four of the following to unlock Vidatu and be rewarded with 99 Mana Springs. Gandarewa (Mushroom Rock Road), Aerouge (Thunder Plains), Imp (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth).
Vidatu is in a constant regen and NulAll status, so this battle could be extremely tricky. His defence is extremely high, so your strength should be at least 200 if you want to damage him sufficiently, otherwise his auto regen effect will restore his health too quickly. Elemental spells will be nullified against him, and his shell effect will reduce the damage of Non Elemental Spells. Attack that inflict multiple hits like Blitz Ace, Attack Reels, Oblivion, Passado and Delta Attack are your best friend here. One hit at 99,999 will kill him.

ONE EYE
HP: 150,000 MP: 270
Strength: 55 Defence: 58 Magic: 77 Magic Defence: 183 Immune to all
Agility: 38 Luck: 15 Evasion: 10 Accuracy: 85 elements
Steal: Lunar Curtain x3 Rare: Blessed Gem x1 Drop: Magic Def Sphere x1
Capture four of the following to unlock One Eye and be rewarded with 60 Stamina Tablets. Floating Eye (Mi’hen Highroad), Buer (Thunder Plains), Evil Eye (Macalania), Ahriman (Mt Gagazet), Floating Death (Omega Dungeon).
One eye will begin the battle by using shock wave. This will inflict EVERY status effect on your party, as well as over 9,999 damage. To prevent this, one character should have the first strike ability on their weapon. They should then switch to Yuna and summon an aeon to take the damage. Aside from that attack, One Eye is not much to worry about.

JUMBO FLAN
HP: 1,300,000 MP: 999
Strength: 3 Defence: 255 Magic: 98 Magic Defence: 80 Absorbs all
Agility: 60 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 0 elements
Steal: Lunar Curtain x4 Rare: Mana Tablet x1 Drop: Magic Sphere x1
Capture three of the following fiends to unlock Jumbo Flan and be rewarded with 60 Twin Stars. Water Flan (Besaid), Thunder Flan (Mushroom Rock Road), Snow Flan (Djose Road), Ice Flan (Macalania), Dark Flan (Mt Gagazet).
Jumbo Flan is a nasty little thing. He is the first creation to have more than 1,000,000 HP. He absorbs all elemental spells, and is immune to physical attacks! Slow the monster down by casting reflect on one of your party members and casting slow on the same member to get around his auto reflect status. Use the Doublecast ability with Ultima and then use Copycat. Holy will work as well but Ultima is more recommended because of doublecast. Just repeat this until he dies. Try using Animas pain attack, since it is non-physical and non-elemental. You should teach her Curaga before the battle.

NEGA ELEMENTAL
HP: 1,300,000 MP: 20
Strength: 0 Defence: 140 Magic: 80 Magic Defence: 62 Absorbs all
Agility: 44 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150 elements + Holy.
Steal: Lunar Curtain x4 Rare: Twin Stars x1 Drop: Twin Stars x2
Capture three of the following fiends to unlock Nega Elemental and be rewarded with 60 Star Curtains. Yellow Element (Kilika), White Element (Mi’hen Highroad), Red Element (Mushroom Rock Road), Gold Element (Thunder Plains), Blue Element (Macalania), Dark Element (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth), Black Element (Omega Dungeon).
Nega Elemental will counter all physical attacks and overdrives with Ultima, so that is not the way to go. As far as magic is concerned, he is as bad as Jumbo Flan except he also absorbs Holy! Doublecast Ultima and then use copycat to beat him. Alternatively, summon anima and have her use pain. Since it is not physical, Nega Elemental will not counter with Ultima.

TANKET
HP: 900,000 MP: 0
Strength: 103 Defence: 100 Magic: 3 Magic Defence: 250
Agility: 41 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 100
Steal: Light Curtain x4 Rare: Lunar Curtain x4 Drop: Defence Sphere x1
Capture three of the following fiends to unlock Tanket and be rewarded with 99 Golden Hourglasses. Raldo (Mi’hen Highroad), Bunyip (Djose Road), Murussu (Macalania), Mafdet (Macalania), Shred (Calm Lands), Halma (Omega Dungeon).
Keep two of your characters alive at all times! If you have one character left standing, you have lost the battle. Once you have only one character, Tanket will attack the character continuously without giving you a turn. Counter attack will not work. Use Aurons Banishing Blade to remove his defence. Tankets Bodyblow will cause the berserk status. If the berserked character has the Auto Phoenix ability, it will cease to function! His defence is not much to worry about. Use aeons to win this fight, or use Attack Reels and Blitz Ace.

FAFNIR
HP: 1,100,000 MP: 30
Strength: 76 Defence: 30 Magic: 109 Magic Defence: 130 Absorbs Fire, Ice
Agility: 38 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 160 and Lightning.
Steal: Gold Hourglass x2 Rare: Stamina Spring x2 Drop: Light Curtain x20
Capture four of the following fiends to unlock Fafnir and be rewarded with 99 Purifying Salts. Vouivre (Mi’hen Highroad), Lamashtu (Mushroom Rock Road), Kusarriqu (Thunder Plains), Mushussu (Bikanel), Nidhogg (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth).
On Fafnirs first turn, he will physically attack one character for quite high damage. On his second turn he will use a three move attack. It will consist of a physical attack, followed by a random elemental attack on all the party and ending with another physical attack. You should cast all Nul Spells before Fafnirs second turn to nullify the second part of his three stage attack. Protect will also be helpful. His magic defence is higher than his defence, so use physical attacks instead of magic.

SLEEP SPROUT
HP: 98,000 MP: 820
Strength: 3 Defence: 167 Magic: 112 Magic Defence: 203 Weak against
Agility: 26 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 0 fire.
Steal: Poison Fang x4 Rare: Farplane Wind x1 Drop: Teleport Sphere x1
Capture five of the following fiends to unlock Sleep Sprout and be rewarded with 99 Healing Springs. Funguar (Mushroom Rock Road), Thorn (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth), Exoray (Inside Sin).
I just have one thing to say to you about sleep sprout………… DO NOT ATTACK HIM! Ok? If you do, he will counter with Goodnight, which is very similar to Bad Breath. The only time he will not use this, is if you are 100% sure to get a hit at 99,999, well obviously! Seeing as how he has less than 100,000 HP he will be far too easy. Get your strength stat up to at least 240 just to be sure. Or just use Attack Reels and he is dead straight away :). He can use all the powerful black magic spells. Flare, Ultima, ga spells; you know the drill by now.

BOMB KING
HP: 480,000 MP: 780
Strength: 73 Defence: 200 Magic: 71 Magic Defence: 200 Absorbs fire.
Agility: 46 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150
Steal: Fire Gem x4 Rare: Shining Gem x1 Drop: Door to tomorrow x1
Capture five of the following fiends to unlock Bomb King and be rewarded with 60 Turbo Ethers. Bomb (Mi’hen Highroad), Grenade (Mt Gagazet), Puroburos (Omega Dungeon).
Bomb king uses Fire, Fira and Firaga black magic attacks, so equip armour with fire eater and weapons with magic counter. After suffering a certain amount of damage bomb king will swell up like the other bombs. After he swells a fourth time, all attacks will be countered with Ultima. This is where magic counter comes in. Cast haste on bomb king, and whenever he casts Firaga on you, your character will counter, and it will not make him swell. Problem solved.

JUGGERNAUT
HP: 1,200,000 MP: 20
Strength: 98 Defence: 140 Magic: 70 Magic Defence: 62 Absorbs fire.
Agility: 42 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150
Steal: Lunar Curtain x4 Rare: Shining Gem x1 Drop: Strength Sphere x1
Capture five of the following fiends to unlock Juggernaut and be rewarded with 99 Light Curtains. Dual Horn (Mi’hen Highroad), Valaha (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth), Grendel (Mt Gagazet).

Try and wear him down before he can cause significant damage to you. Use Hastega as usual along with quick hits and doublecast Ultima. He will not attack on his first turn but will unleash a fire attack on his second that can be countered with NulBlaze. He is not the fastest of fiends, so you should be able to wear away his 1,200,000 HP before he can cause damage to you. His physical attacks will inflict major damage on a character.

IRONCLAD
HP: 2,000,000 MP: 0
Strength: 100 Defence: 220 Magic: 0 Magic Defence: 180 Immune to all
Agility: 65 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 180 elements.
Steal: Light Curtain x4 Rare: Stamina Tablet x1 Drop: HP Sphere x1
Capture five of the following fiends to unlock Ironclad and be rewarded with 60 Mana Tablets. Iron Giant (Thunder Plains), Gemini (Inside Sin), Gemini (Inside Sin,). Both Gemini’s must be captured.
Use Banishing Blade to remove his armour ability. He will counter all attacks with Reppageki, an attack inflicting medium damage against a character that is quite inaccurate. Next, he will counter with Bushinzan, a very annoying attack that inflicts high damage on everyone and reduces MP to zero! The horror! If attacked again, he will counter with Shinryudan, which will cause large damage to a single character. Then he will switch back to Reppageki.

Well that’s it for species creations! But there are even tougher monsters awaiting you at the arena! Oh yes, MUCH MUCH HARDER FIENDS AWAIT YOU!
There are also, Original Creations. Creatures of the arena owner. They are slightly harder to unlock, and will cost you 15,000 gil to fight. A fight with Nemesis will cost you 25,000 gil!!!! There are eight original creations. These are:

EARTH EATER
HP: 1,300,000 MP: 30
Strength: 117 Defence: 200 Magic: 186 Magic Defence: 210
Agility: 47 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 120
Steal: - Rare: Level 1 Key Sphere x1 Drop: Fortune Sphere x1
In order to unlock Earth Eater, you must unlock two creatures in the area conquest and you will be rewarded with 60 Three Stars. Earth Eater has a constant Reflect Effect. Earth Eater will counter all of your attacks with Megaton Punch, which will inflict death and around 15,000 damage to a character. Its defence is very high, and you will find it hard to hurt him without the aid of Aeons. Every time it loses 100,000 HP of damage, it will fall over and will counter your attacks with Flare that will deal 9,999 damage to a random character. His defence is somewhat reduced when he has fallen over, so take advantage of this by unleashing Attack Reels. If you cannot seem to do more than a few thousand damage to the Earth Eater, have Rikku mix two Doors to Tomorrow. This will initiate the overdrive “Trio of 9999”. Then have Lulu use Fire Fury, and you should be able to do at least 12 spells at 9,999. That’s 120,000 damage already (160,000 if you can unleash 16 spells!). Use the triple overdrive ability to boost your overdrives up faster.

GREATER SPHERE
HP: 1,500,000 MP: 999
Strength: 87 Defence: 130 Magic: 102 Magic Defence: 120 His elemental
Agility: 55 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 200 vulnerabilities vary.
Steal: - Rare: Return Sphere x1 Drop: Luck Sphere x1
In order to unlock Greater Sphere, you must create two fiends during the species conquest and you will be rewarded with 60 Supreme Gems.
Greater Sphere will counter all attacks with either Ultima or Hydraulic Press. The latter is barely survivable without protect, even with 255 defence. Auto Life is your best bet here. You should unleash continuous Attack Reels with 12 hits at 99,999. Make sure you have adequate defences in order (Protect and Shell) before you attack him.

CATASTROPHE
HP: 2,200,000 MP: 380
Strength: 120 Defence: 80 Magic: 77 Magic Defence: 80
Agility: 34 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150
Steal: - Rare: Level 2 Key Sphere x1 Drop: Designer Wallet x1
In order to unlock Catastrophe, you must create six creatures during the area conquest and you will be rewarded with 99 Door to Tomorrows.
You should protect yourself against Poison, Curse and Confusion, because whilst Catastrophe is in his shell he will unleash attacks inflicting all three of those status effects. After you have inflicted 500,000 damage to him, he will leave his shell, and his defence figure will be reduced. He will then alternate between three attacks. Toxic Spray (causes Full Break and a little damage on one character!), Demi (reduces your parties HP by 1/4), and Hundred Thorns (inflicts a lot of damage on all party members!). He is quite slow, so you shouldn’t have to face up to these very often at all. In fact, if you can hit for 99,999 and have agility level of well over 100, he wont even get to use Hundred Thorns at all. Use protect to reduce damage of Hundred Thorns.

TH’UBAN
HP: 3,000,000 MP: 85
Strength: 102 Defence: 80 Magic: 212 Magic Defence: 80
Agility: 53 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 180
Steal: - Rare: Teleport Sphere x1 Drop: Underdog’s Secret x1
In order to unlock Th’uban, you must create six creatures during the species conquest and you will be rewarded with 99 Gamblers Spirits.
Th’uban is very very hard. He will counter all of your attacks with a tail swipe that removes all positive status effects on your party. He will use an attack called Rainbow that hits all of your characters multiple times for lots of dame, and curses them! His Shockwave attack will inflict 99,999 damage to a character, regardless of your defence. Use Auto Life and unleash Overdrives like crazy. Be sure to save a few turns after attacking to restore any removed effects.

NESLUG
HP: 4,000,000 MP: 999
Strength: 130 Defence: 80 Magic: 130 Magic Defence: 80
Agility: 43 Luck: 20 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 0
Steal: - Rare: Friend Sphere x1 Drop: Pendulum x1
In order to unlock Neslug, you must capture one of every fiend in Spira. You will receive a reward of 99 Winning Formulas (30 of which suffice for Triple Overdrive ability).
Once you inflict 2,000,000 HP of damage, Neslug will fall back into its shell, rendering physical attacks almost useless against it. Not only that, but it will enter an Auto-Regen status that cannot be prevented with silence or dispel. It will cast Curaga on itself as well. If Wakka can hit for 99,999, have him start of by unleashing a successful Attack Reels. Then have him use Quick Hits 8 times. You will then have drained 1,999,980 HP from Neslug. Have another character with a full overdrive gauge use Entrust to Wakka, and then unleash another Attack Reels. If it is perfect, the shell will be destroyed.

ULTIMA BUSTER
HP: 5,000,000 MP: 140
Strength: 168 Defence: 60 Magic: 178 Magic Defence: 71
Agility: 72 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 130
Steal: - Rare: Level 3 Key Sphere x1 Drop: Winning Formula x1
ULTIMA BUSTER HEAD + ARMS
HP: 80,000 Defence: 1 Magic Defence: 1
In order to unlock Ultima Buster, you must capture five of every fiend in Spira. You will be rewarded with 99 Dark Matters. Use Hastega and Autolife on your characters. When it is Ultima Busters turn, he will either use an attack dealing 10,000 damage to a character, or an extremely powerful Ultima. You should kill the head and arms with Ultima and Doublecast since the arms reduce the damage that you do to Ultima Buster. Every three turns the head will use an attack that is stronger than Ultima Busters Ultima, and inflicts Slow, Poison, Confusion, Zombie, and Full Break. Once you defeat him, the arena owner will sell you clear spheres for 10,000 gil each. These are handy when you want to replace sphere grid nodes. For example, there is strength +1 in a node. You use a clear sphere and it becomes empty. Then you use a strength sphere and it becomes strength +4.

SHINRYU
HP: 2,000,000 MP: 72
Strength: 92 Defence: 60 Magic: 86 Magic Defence: 98
Agility: 70 Luck: 15 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 200
Steal: - Rare: Three Stars x1 Drop: Wings to Discovery x1
In order to unlock Shinryu, you must capture two of all the underwater fiends in the Mt Gagazet Cave. You will be rewarded with 30 Megalixers.
This fight is held underwater, so only Tidus, Wakka and Rikku can participate. Shinryu will use Eraser that will petrify and shatter a character. It ignores any defence you have in place. If only one character is alive, he will not use this attack, so it may be wise to kill off the characters you don’t want first. It would be wise to keep Wakka alive and just use Attack Reels and quick hits until Shinryu is dead. Luckily, his HP levels are quite low.

NEMESIS
HP: 10,000,000 MP: 9999
Strength: 255 Defence: 150 Magic: 255 Magic Defence: 150
Agility: 200 Luck: 0 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 150
Steal: - Rare: Warp Sphere x1 Drop: Warp Sphere x1
In order to unlock Nemesis, you must capture ten of every fiend in Spira and defeat all the Original Monsters in the monster arena. You will be rewarded with 10 Master Spheres.
Yes, he is here. The hardest arena creation. High stats all around. Your agility will need to be over 200, and you will want Hastega and be able to deal 99,999 with a single hit. Nemesis counters all overdrives. Another of his attacks will inflict almost 99,999 on all characters. To prevent this, summon an Aeon just before his turn, and act use it to take the damage. Cast Hastega and use Quick Hits over and over until Nemesis is dead. When he is defeated, the arena owner will give you the Mark of Conquest item. It is completely useless however! :)

6. Dark Aeons
The Dark Aeons appear at certain times in the game. They are the toughest monsters in the entire game. You will need very high stats to beat them (255 not necessary for the first few).
You should train your party up until you can easily defeat Dark Valefor, and continuously fight him until he drops armour with the rare Ribbon ability that guards against all status effects. When I could easily beat Dark Valefor, my party was Yuna, Wakka and Lulu. Yuna and Lulu had 9,999 HP and Wakka had just over 18,000. Wakka’s strength stat was about 180. All Dark Aeons drop Dark Matter x1 normally, and Master Sphere x1 on Rare occasions.

DARK VALEFOR
HP: 800,000 MP: 999
Strength: 148 Defence: 120 Magic: 186 Magic Defence: 220 Half damage
Agility: 105 Luck: 48 Evasion: 10 Accuracy: 250 against all elements
Steal: X Potion x2
Dark Valefor is called at the entrance to Besaid Village. He is definitely the weakest Aeon, since only his overdrive can break the damage limit. He is in the habit of using Energy Ray, which will most likely inflict 9,999 damage on all your characters unless you have very high defence. One of your characters should have the break HP limit to avoid instant game over. You will want the Auto Haste and possibly the Auto Phoenix ability as well. Revive your two characters with Auto or Mega Phoenix. Then have Wakka use Attack Reels or have your character use Quick Hits. If you are really struggling, summon the Magus Sisters. They should be able to easily take down Dark Valefor’s 800,000 HP and they will take less damage from his attacks. Just before Valefor has a turn when his overdrive is full, summon an Aeon to sacrifice since his overdrive Energy Blast will inflict over 50,000 damage to your party. Once he is defeated, you can enter Besaid Village. Talk to the woman near the temple to receive Valefor’s second overdrive Energy Blast.

DARK IFRIT
HP: 1,400,000 MP: 999
Strength: 220 Defence: 173 Magic: 177 Magic Defence: 163 Absorbs Fire
Agility: 124 Luck: 27 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 230 immune to ice
Steal: Mega Phoenix x2 half damage from water.
Go to Bikanel and head to the Al Bheds destroyed home. A woman will claim her child is lost. Go to the end of the cliff to trigger the fight with Dark Ifrit.
Dark Ifrit will counter all of your attacks with damage around 80,000. His own attack will inflict around 15,000 damage and have a delay effect. You cannot counter his overdrive with fire protection since it is non-elemental. Sacrifice an Aeon to take the high damage. Wakka should use Attack Reels. Tidus should use Blitz Ace. Quick hits should be repeatedly used as always. Auto Life and Auto Phoenix if possible.

DARK IXION
HP: 1,200,000 MP: 999
Strength: 176 Defence: 220 Magic: 133 Magic Defence: 188 Absorbs lighting
Agility: 180 Luck: 36 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 250 Immune to fire and
Steal: Stamina Tablet x2 ice. Half damage from water.
You must fight Dark Ixion twice to kill him. Go to the Thunder Plains- North and talk to the guy. Dark Ixion will be summoned. He will counter your attacks with a physical attack that inflicts sleep. His own attacks inflict Full Break! Use Ribbon to counter this. You should use Quick Hits as usual. Attack Reels will help. When you kill him, save and you will find Dark Ixion nearby. This time he cannot counter, but his attacks will inflict Confusion and Full Break.

DARK SHIVA
HP: 1,100,000 MP: 999
Strength: 173 Defence: 163 Magic: 244 Magic Defence: 255 Absorbs Ice
Agility: 255 Luck: 73 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 250 Immune to Water
Steal: Mana Tablet x2 and lightning. Half damage from water.

Go to the entrance to Macalania Temple. Dark Shiva will be waiting for you. She is extremely quick. If you agility is not high enough she could wipe you out before you get a turn. The Aeons become very tough from here on, so stats should all be around 200 with luck around 100. HP should be around 20,000 for at least one person. Dark Shiva’s Heavenly strike will inflict death on your party members, and nothing will guard against it. Her attacks will dispel all positive effects on your characters, and they will cause Berserk and Confuse. Summon an Aeon as usual to take her attacks. Lucky that her HP is quite low. A perfect Attack Reels will kill her if all of them hit for 99,999.

DARK BAHAMUT
HP: 4,000,000 MP: 999
Strength: 245 Defence: 234 Magic: 222 Magic Defence: 233
Agility: 255 Luck: 102 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 250
Steal: Twin Stars x2
Go to where you fought Yunalesca. Dark Bahamut is there. Your strength, magic, defence, accuracy and agility should be at 255. Bahamut is very evasive, so use Aim to reduce the number of hits that miss. Unleash overdrives and quick hits like crazy. When Dark Bahamuts overdrive charges for the fifth time, he will use Impulse dealing damage, Petrification, Delay, Slow and Full Break. Proof armour offers no protection, so use Auto Life. On his next turn he will use Mega Flare. You should summon an Aeon to take this damage. If possible, have this Aeon unleash its overdrive before it dies.

DARK YOJIMBO
HP: 1,600,000 MP: 999
Strength: 244 Defence: 210 Magic: 131 Magic Defence: 144
Agility: 243 Luck: 114 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 255
Steal: Stamina Tonic x2
Go to the cavern of the Stolen Fayth and to the end of the tunnel. Then start to walk back out, and Dark Yojimbo will appear. You should have the First Strike ability, since Yojimbo will ambush you, and you may start with a Wakizashi attack inflicting 99,999 on all your party. Daigoro will cause petrification. Zanmato will dispel any protection and cause 99,999 to everyone. Sacrifice an Aeon to survive. When you have defeated him once, you can visit the save sphere to recover your HP. There is no point saving since you will have to start again with the first encounter. Walk to the exit of the cave, and fight him again. Ambush is no longer an issue. You must defeat Yojimbo five times before he is completely dead.

DARK ANIMA
HP: 8,000,000 MP: 999
Strength: 155 Defence: 230 Magic: 255 Magic Defence: 255 Absorbs all
Agility: 183 Luck: 85 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 255 elements.
Steal: Three Stars x2
Go to Mt Gagazet and complete the first trial in the mountain cave. Dark Anima will appear at the entrance to the mountain. Her attacks will cause poison, zombie, curse and petrification. Pain will cause instant death, and Mega-Graviton will cause lots of effects and damage totalling up to 7/16 of the characters maximum HP to all members. Accuracy will need to be at 255 to hit, and you will still have to use Aim. Quick Hits and Attack Reels as usual.

DARK MAGUS SISTERS:

DARK CINDY
HP: 3,000,000 MP: 999
Strength: 175 Defence: 223 Magic: 171 Magic Defence: 105
Agility: 185 Luck: 40 Evasion: 0 Accuracy: 255
Steal: Return Sphere x1

DARK SANDY
HP: 2,500,000 MP: 999
Strength: 186 Defence: 201 Magic: 207 Magic Defence: 168
Agility: 201 Luck: 80 Evasion: 100 Accuracy: 255
Steal: Friend Sphere x1

DARK MINDY
HP: 2,000,000 MP: 999
Strength: 148 Defence: 187 Magic: 248 Magic Defence: 132
Agility: 233 Luck: 130 Evasion: 240 Accuracy: 255
Steal: Teleport Sphere x1
Go to the end of Mi’hen Highroad and onto Mushroom Rock Road. Keep going forwards and three people will surround you. The Magus Sisters will be summoned. Your stats should all be at 255, with Luck levels at 120. HP should be around 30,000. Try to focus on each sister individually. Mindy is the weakest so you should go for here with Attack Reels and Quick Hits. Passado is instant death to one of your characters, so Mindy is nasty. Camiside will reduce your defence to nothing, and Razzia will dispel Auto-life and also reduce your defence to nothing. If one sister is dead, they will not be able to use Delta Attack, and will instead use Mega-Graviton. Re-cast any dispelled status effects. Sacrifice your Aeons to avoid the Delta Attack. Give it your all.

PENANCE (RIGHT ARM/LEFT ARM)
HP: 12,000,000 (500,000) MP: 999 (999)
Strength: 255 (200) Defence: 240 (200) Magic: 255 (150) Magic Defence: 200 (200)
Agility: 255 (150) Luck: 10 (10) Evasion: 0 (120) Accuracy: 255 (255)
Steal: Elixir x1 (Dark Matter x1) Rare: Megalixer x1 (Master Sphere x1)
Drop: Master Sphere x3 (Dark Matter x1) Rare: Master Sphere x3 (Master Sphere x1)

Once all of the dark Aeons are dead, you can select Penance as the next airship destination. This is the Ultimate Opponent. You will not find a tougher boss. Your luck should be over 120, with HP levels of over 40,000 and all your other stats at 255. You absolutely must destroy Penance’s arms to stop him using Judgement day. An extremely nasty attack of his. Use Healing Water to restore your characters HP. Use Quick Hits and overdrives when you attack its torso. Doublecast Ultima to quickly destroy the arms. Unleash all your Aeons overdrives.

Submitted By: Seymour Guado
CHOCOBO EATER
HP= 10,000

Kill him quick before he knocks you off the cliff. Use Darkness
attacks and keep hitting him with physical attacks to knock him
back . Fairly easy fight that one : )

SINSPAWN GUI
*FIRST FORM*
HP= 12,000

Take out the arms first , as they block physical attacks - bash
them whenever they regenerate. Next, neutrialize the head, as its
Hp is very low, then concentrate on physical and magical attacks
on the body . You can also use magic on its head if you want seen
as magic and wakkas attack are the only things that can damage it
succsefully.

*SECOND FORM*
HP= 2,000

You'll only have Yuna and Auron here, but you'll be joined by
Seymour. Use his level 2 magical attacks, as the are rather
strong, and you should be sorted. You should use the others too
attack and heal when necessary.

EXTRACTOR
HP= 2,000

You'll only have Tidus and Wakka here, but its enough. Use
Tidus's Delay Attack to give you more turns, then keep up the
physical attacks, with Haste and Cheer, if you like. Watch when
the Extractor rises, as its readying its depth charges - which
can wipe out most of health in one go, but really this fight
should be over by then.

SPHERIMORPH
HP= 11,000

This watery blob will cast spells at you and the only way to harm
it i to oppose it with a spell of the opposite element:
Water/Electricity and Fire/Ice. Using anything else will result
in you healing it, plus a retaliatory strike on all three party
members. You'll get hit on your first attack, so just watch to
see which element it starts with. Each time you successfully
hurt it, it'll change it's elemental state from Ice, through
Lightning, Water and Fire. Adjust your attacks accordingly and
you should be fine. Use Lulu and Kimahri for magic and Rikku for
Al Bhed Potions.

CRAWLER,NEGATOR
HP=16,000/1,000

Take that Negator out as soon as possible, as it inhibits all
spellcasing. It will regenerate, but keep hitting it with
Rikku's grenades or Wakka's Scout attack. Then blast the Crawler
with Lightning spells and Aeon attacks until it corks it.

SEYMOUR W/GUARDS/ANIMA/
SEYMOUR SOLUS
HP=6,000/18,000/6,000

First, talk to Seymour to raise your strength and magical
abilities. Then, take out the guards straight away, as they'll
auto-potion after they receive 1,000 HPs of damage. They'll also
protect Seymour against physical attcks, so they have to go!Level
2 magical spell from Lulu are the best, plus a few whacks from
Auron should do it. Now attack Seymour with magical attacks - he
will attack you with Ice, Lightning Water and Fire, in that
order, so use Yuna to us the relevant ward. Keep attacking until
he summons his Anima Aeon. Basically, it's best to use your own
Aeons to take it out before it reaches its Overdrive attack,
which is evil. After Seymour recalls the Aeon, keep up the
attacks on him, Warding as necessary and hitting with Level 2
spells. He will go down before long.

WENDIGO W/GUADO GUARDS
HP=18,000/1,200

Once again, the Guado Guards need wasting before auto-potion or
cast Berserk on the Wendigo-if they succeed, it'll kill you dead
in one fell swoop. After beating the guards, blind the Wendigo
with Wakka, then cast Haste, Cheer and/or Slow to give yourself
the edge.

EVRAE
HP=32,000

You've two choices. Attack from afar, or move in. If you stay
back, use Wakka and Lulu, plus you'll get support from the
airship. If you choose close-quarters combat select your more
powerful characters. Additionally, the close attacks are weak,
until it begins to inhale - pull back immediately, or you'll feel
its wrath.

ISAARU W/SUMMONS
HP=UNKNOWN

The best strategy here is to use your Aeons, but try and conserve
them until Isaau summons Baharmat. You'll need them all in order
to defeat it and if you run out of Aeons before he summons
Bahamat, you're done for.

EVRAE ALTANA
HP=16,384

Hit the two locks on the gate to give yourself a chance to flee.
Also, watch out, as it will counter any physical attacks, so
magic is the way to go. During the second part, you'll be on the
other side of the gate - the counter will be neutralised, so use
Wakka's Dark attack and Tidus' Haste until it expires.

SEYMOUR NATUS AND MORTIBODY
HP=36,000/3,000

Guess who's back? First talk to Seymour again and your Strength
and Magical Defence will rise. Then use up all your Aeons and
hammer the Mortibody-it will pinch HP from Seymour, in
successively greater amounts. Now turn your attention to
Seymour. Use Shell to protect yourself, as Seymour is a right
sod to defeat.

DEFENDER X
HP= 64,000

Now we're getting into nutty territory . Use Armour Break to
lower its attributes, then use Black Magic to knock its health
down. Watch out for its Haymaker attack - its instant death for
almost all it touches, so keep Phoenix Downs handy.

BIRAN AND YENKE RONSO
HP is randomized and is close to Kimahri's HP level

Keep your attacks sustained, but only when the pair are
sepearate, otherwise they'll just block each time. Keep your
Hi-Potions handy and you should emerge victorious.....eventully :
)

SEYMOUR FLUX W/ MORTIORCHIS
HP= 70,000 / 4,000

He just wont give up, will he ? And now he means business. If he
used his Lance of Atrophy on you, you'll only be able to cure
that charcter with Holy Water. Potions will just harm them
further. Your best bet is to make sure your Aeons are at Full
Overdrive before you enter the battle, or be prepared for a
miserable defeat.

SANCTUARY KEEPER
HP= 40,000

Again, use all five of your Aeons and Overdrive the lot. Use
Tidus' Slow to keep things level and if you start running into
trouble, use Auron's Armour Break and any other physical attacks
at hand. Slow, but sure.

SPECTRAL KEEPER
HP= 52,000

Keep your charcters one space apart - this will confuse the boss
as it can't face three directions at once. Use your Aeons again
and try and avoid the Glymph Mines, as an attack on that square
will be fatal. Make use of the Reflect spell, but be aware that
the boss will cast it, too!

YUNALESCA W/ THREE FORMS
HP= 24,000 / 48,000 / 60,000

Use standard magical and physical attacks for the first two
forms, then break out the Aeons for the third form. If you get
zombiefied, dont worry too much, as the third incarnation will
cast Mega Death - instant death to all members - but will have no
effect if you're in zombie state.

SIN W/ LEFT FIN / RIGHT FIN / CORE / SINSPAWN GENAIS
HP= 65,000 / 65,000 / 36,000, 60,000

Get the lads in there with powerfull physical attacks, but dont
use status altering spells, as they'll just be negated. Keep
pummelling and watch out for Sin's Gravija attack, which'll wipe
off nearly all your HP. Repeat this procedure for the other fin.
Next, attack the Sinspawn to get a clear shot at Sin itself. Use
your Aeons to helpincrease your attack strength.

SIN
HP= 140,000

Cast Haste, Shell and Protect on all the party and when Sin gets
close, employ both the Mental and Armour breaks. When its
Overdrive is ready, quickly USE STRONG ATTACKS, as its Overdrive
is an inevertable Gameover....sorry :(

FINAL SEYMOUR / OMNIS
HP= 80,000

Last time, we promise. Watch the colour of the sphres around him
and cast the relevent Nul spell like the first time you
encountred him. This is the order of his attacks : Fire, Ice,
Water, Lightning. Make Tidus cast Haste, too and keep up the
magical attacks. Wait untill your Aeons are at Overdrive, then
unleash them. If you've got got Ultima and Holy, use them too.

BRASKA'S FINAL AEON W / 2 FORMS (+ YU PAGODAS)
HP = 60,000 / 120,000 / ( 5,000 each )

The pagodas are formidable enemies alone, never mind Yu Yevon.
The problem is, unless you hit them for exactly 9,999 HP, they'll
regenerate, becoming more powerfull each time, so cast the
following to vanquish them, : Overdrivein Aeons, Ultima,Flare,
and Holy. Next, use Tidus' Hasteaga and use Protect and Shell.
Then, at the second form, call in the Aeons and reserve Bahamut
untill the Pagodas are gone. Keep bashing with Ultima, Flare and
Holy and you should be okay.

YU YEVON (* FINAL BOSS * )
HP= 99,999

Some kind sick joke, this. Firstly, you can't die- you'll be
revived each time and secondly... how titchy is that? Still,
fight's a comin'.
Destroy each of your Aeons then cast Hasteaga, then Reflect on
both yourself and Yevon. Now, here comes the creafty bit: strike
Yevon and it'll cure itself with Cureaga, but it'll be reflected
onto you! Now cast magic on yourself and it'll be reflected onto
Yevon - it's impossible to hit him directly otherwise.
Alternativly, cat Zombie on Yevon and when it cures itself, it'll
take massive damage. Keep it up and you'll be ready for the
eleventh installment of the Fantasy series !!!

I hope this guide helps
