Retro Game Walkthroughs for Kingdom Hearts (PlayStation 2)

Hi, i'm scott and weekly i will submit part of Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough to you ! If you have any problems E-Mail me at [email protected].
You will have to pick a difficulty level, 'normal or expert'. If you choose expert enemies like the heartless will take double the damage out of you. Also a differant ending screen will appear. If i was you first time pick normal like what i did.
If you screw up you can resetby pressing 'start,select,L1,L2,R1,R2' then just load you're game.
Part One : Move sora to the centre of floor and three pillars will appear. Choose one of the weapons ' Dream Sword, Dream shield or Dream Rod'. Then pick another which you think you don't need.

Soon you will be in a battle defeat all 5 Shadows. Don't worry you're health will recover after the fight. Follow the instructions on the screen from here now and open the chest to find a potion which can be equipped in the item menue and used to heal you self (Hp guage, Green Bar). When you eventually open the pink door you will find youself on Destiny Islands, but you're not there just yet.
Talk to all three of sora's friends : Tidus, Wakka and Selphie.
The best awnsers to pick are, "Getting old", "To See rare sights", and "Friendship". If you pick these you will get on better in the game.
Now back to you're dream fight 9 shadows and don't die for heavens sake. Soon a save point will appear on the floor. Save you're game. Save points recover Hp and Mp to full. (Blue gage used for magic). Follow the stairs up to the next glass platform, don't worry you can't fall off. Once there you will fight Darkside. Hit him on the wrists and head if you can. If you loose this time it does not matter.

Sora finds himself alone in Traverse Town and decides to search for his two comrades in attempt to return home with them to the Destiny Islands.
Mp is Magic Points, it costs Mp when you use magic and this causes the blue bar to go down. You can't use Mp just yet.
Ap is Ability Points which is required to buy abilities. To get Ap use abilities.
STR is Strength, which is Soras overall strength.
DEF is defence, which is soras overall defence.
EXP is experiance points, by defeating enemies you gain EXP which will put sora up a level Lv1 Lv2 etc. The higher the level he goes it unlocks abilities and makes him stronger.
The bottom left bar on the screen should say attack and item. By selecting these is what sora is going to do. If you go to item there is no items there, so..
Press start go to items and select character sora press X which views items press X again to equip him with it. Now go to quick menue and item, there it should say Potion.

Hi, am back again with another part of my Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough. Remember any problems just E-mail me at [email protected] I will be more than happy to help you with any problems you have in the game.
Finally after defeating the Darkside monster we can move on. It’s your first day on Destiny Islands and you’ve got to bring stuff back for Kairi. Two logs, a rope and a cloth. There’s a log on the beach and up on the islet near Rikku. You will find the rope West where Tidus is and the cloth hanging in the Tree House. If you don’t ask Kairi for help and bring back all items in the one go she will reward you with a Hi-Potion. You can now go home or put in some battle training first.
You can fight Wakka from FFX, Slephie from FFVIII, Tidus and Rikku. Each time you beat Rikku or Beat Wakka, Selphie and Tidus together you get a potion for your outstanding preformance.
Selphie - Jump attacks most effective, when you land attack constantly is she runs away jump atack again.
Tidus - When he does summersault attck counterattack on his left side, if he says “HEY STOP RUNNING AWAY” then is you other chance to attack.
Wakka - If you blast his ball back at him you gain exp and you hurt him leaving him dazed. When dazed go in for the kill. When he wakes he will use spinning attack run from him then repeat process. Keep your distance when he is awake.
Rikku - Dodge his attacks by moving to his left. If he blocks 3 times run then counterattack. When he falls to the ground stay back from his big feet.
Selphie, Tidus and Wakka - Take them out 1 by 1 using the required strategy for each player.
After all that hard training an early rise and day 2 already. Rikku is waiting behind the door where Kairi was standing on Day 1. You must race Rikku. If you beat Rikku you get a pretty stone. During the race take a different route from Rikku, down the side throught the shallow water. Then under the trees up the small bumps and touch the star. Take the same route back.
Afterwards speak to Kairi by the Raft. You now have to collect, drinking water, (not from the sea) a seaqgull egg, 3 fish, 3 mushrooms and 2 coconuts.
For the seagull egg climb up the trees by the seaside shack
For the Drinking Water next to the seaaside shack or under the bridge in the cove
For 3 fish found between the water at jetty and the islet
For 2 coconuts smash any coconut tree (yellow coconuts not brown ones)
For 3 Mushrooms small cave near raft, (need to push bolder) in bushes near tower and at the secret place near drinking water part. (Who is that scary man, want to know then E-mail me)
If you want a protect chain carry the crate near the tower to the opening in the cliff and climb up. Return all items to Kairi and get your reward.
Oh no, your precious little island, it's not so bad compared to what it's gonna be like later. Go straight to the secret place and you recieve the keyblade. You are now in another battle with Darkside. It wont be your last battle with him. This time you've got to win and beat him up. Show em whose boss.
Use the same technique as last time. This time he is stronger and tougher. Mind you so are you.
Rikku - 15 years old and rather confident. He has a firm bond relationship between Kairi and Sora. His mind entices him to leave Destiny Islands.
Chip $ Dale - Specialists with the gummie ship the rednosed Dale is playful and the other is the opposite.
Jiminy Cricket - Very small but a cheerful cricket. The Heartless invaded his world and he ended up in Disney castle.
Brooms - Disney Castle is kept clean by these brooms and they also preform guard duties.
Pluto - Loyal dog and palace pet, always wants to assist his master King Mickey. He joins Donald and Goofy.
Minnie Mouse - Queen of Disney Castle. Takes over in the Kings absence.
Daisy Duck - Daisy helps look after the castle and her sweetheart is Donald Duck. She is the only one who can deal with donalds tantrums.
To equip your protect chain press start, go to equipement, sora select then protect chain then exit.
I recieved an E-mail all the way from America that this person was stuck on the Dragon boss. I will admit it is quite a tough boss and i struggled with it too. I answered her E-mail and told her how to get past it. For peoples sake who are stuck on that boss here is how to get past it :
A good position to take is the outer perimeter area. If you are behind the tree trunk you will rarely be hit. Believe it or not but use fire magic. From the tree trunk target the dragon and use fire magic. It requires a lot of ethers so what do we do? Summon bambi and keep using up fire spells. When shock waves come toward you jump to avoid them. Keep pressing Trianglex2 to make Donald and Goofy go crazy. When bambi runs out immediatly summon tinker bell.
If you succseed you get fire glow summon gem who is..... am not telling you.
But give it to fairy godmother.
