About This Guide [F001]

Hello ladies and gentle people and welcome to my first ever FAQ. My aim of this guide is to present you with all the information on Motorstorm possible and to help you through this fantastic game. In the tickets section I'll walk through each event, giving the best route for each one. I tested each route numerous times and chose the best mix of speed and safety. Though, speed was usually precedent. As a result, some routes may need a bit of practice, but when used correctly, they will save you a good deal of time.
The reason I wrote this FAQ is because, well, nobody else has posted one thus far. As it's my first guide, I would appreciate any feedback you have to offer - good or bad - which you can send to my contact information. See below for details. Thank you for reading!

Motorstorm has 2 modes of play. "Play" and "Online"
Play - The MotorStorm Festival. Single player, offline mode. Play through the different tickets and events with a range of different vehicles.
Online - Connect through the Playstation network for access to MotorStorm updates and announcements and to play against players.
Extras - Videos, credits and art from MotorStorm.
Setup - Choose options for controls, and audio.
There are extra modes "Time Trail" and "Eliminator" in the works for MotorStorm. They will be available to download soon (June 7th).

Vehicles [G004]

In MotorStorm, you get to choose between 7 different vehicle classes. Within each class, there is 5 different vehicles So say you choose the Bike class. You then get to pick from 5 different bikes. Also, each vehicle has 3 different skins. Of course, you need to unlock these extra vehicles as you progress through the game. Initially there are only 2 different vehicles to choose from in each class. Some people debate that there are differences between the 5 vehicles in each class. I don't believe this is true.
When choosing your vehicle, use the left/right directional buttons to move between the classes, then through the different vehicles. You can then select a skin by using the up/down directional buttons.
Below you will find information for each class and the names of each vehicle. On we go. Vroom.

--Bikes--

Possibly the most fun class of them all. Not only can you jump off ramps like no other, you get to stick your fingers up at your opponents! Bikes have the fastest acceleration of any class. They're also the most likely to break apart on you if you so much as hit a pebble on the road or say "hello" to a big rig. You can also punch other Bike and ATV riders off their ride.

Somewhat similar to the bike, only slightly more durable and better traction, but less acceleration. You can also smack your opponents and they're okay at jumping the ramps. As with the bikes, they're a nightmare at turning on bumps due to light weight.

--Buggy--

An all-rounder of sorts. It's decent at most terrain and routes, can keep the pace and won't fall apart too easily. When hitting the jumps boosting is a good idea as it's fairly heavy. Buggies get a good amount of use and are a good choice as a starting vehicle.

--Rally Car--

If you want to go fast, drive a rally car. They have the highest speed of all and acceleration on par with the lighter vehicles. Probably the most difficult class to master, but also the most rewarding. They tend to take the longest and most difficult routes.

Another all-round type. They're fine on most terrain and have good durability. Acceleration and control is poor, but you can still shove the speedies into a wall to give you an advantage.

--Mud Plugger--

Big and mean, mud pluggers are actually a very good class choice. As the name suggests, it's great in the mud and other terrain. However is lacks the speed to beat others on the straights. It has a nice boost to help it's poor acceleration and can take the nice easy, wide routes with ease.

--Big Rig--

Last but definitely not least, the Big Ugly One. While generally slow, they can pick up major speed when boosting, couple that with it's handling in the mud, devastating crushing power and you've got yourself a winning class. Drawbacks? Takes an hour to get going and turning is hazardous.

There are 8 venues (tracks) in the game. This may not seem like much, but the game forces you to pick specific vehicles each ticket. So you may drive on Rain God Mesa on a bike first, but you'll also do it on the other vehicles. I'll give an overview of the venues in this section. For more detail, look at the specific ticket you want information on.

--The Grizzly--

The first Venue you come into contact with and boy is it something. It's the longest track of them all, with plenty of routes to choose from. There is something for every class here, hence you can pick any you wish. There are jumps and shortcuts for bikes, ATVs and Buggies. Stretches of mud for Big Rigs and Mud Pluggers. Long straights for Rally Cars and Racing Trucks. You could argue all day about which class is best for this course. There isn't one that outshines the other and you can with with anything. So have just fun with your favorite machine.

--Coyote Rage--

From the longest to the shortest, we have The Rage. Even a sardine would feel claustrophobic on parts of this track. There's a line of mud in the middle to suit the heavy cars, whilst there are two other options available for lightweights around each edge of the venue. The 3 routes merge into one tight snake-like valley which can be hell for bikes.

--Rain God Mesa--

Next up is the most dangerous course of all. You're going to fall of the edge at some point. Sharp corners, bumps, rough terrain, slopes and big gaps are some of the obstacles to watch out for. Mainly dust and rock, the bike may be a good choice, but only if you know how to drive like a pro. As there is a bare minimum of shortcuts, you'll need to rely more on skill and sheer determination to win.

--The Mudpool--

No prizes for guessing the terrain of this venue. Mud. Lots of mud. It's not all bad though, a good portion of it can be avoided if you're skilled enough. You'll need to choose the right route if you want to merely survive this one. The big rig is a popular choice here, for obvious reasons. So think twice about picking the bike if you don't know what you're doing.

--Rock Hopper--

A pretty simple course here. Only two turns and pretty much only two routes. So what makes it fun? Jumps! You'll be bumping heads with the seagulls here which makes bikes, ATVs and Buggies a great choice. A couple of sly routes will give you the edge, so watch out for them and stick to them. There is no clear cut better vehicle class for this track either. Go with what you know.

--Dust Devil--

This one is simple yet complex. You can go through the whole thing without hitting much of a jump or you could be jumping like a maniac. Since the track is generally dust, you can pick any route you wish. Even in Big Rigs you can hit the jumps and win. Watch out for rocks popping out of the earth and if you decide to go the village route, a heavy grade vehicle helps ram through the houses and other annoyances in your way.

--The Tenderizer--

Obstacles aplenty, The Tenderizer requires a tender touch. (Groan). With dark sections and mud flying in your face it can be hard to see where you're going and you may find yourself parking your machine into a big rock. If your class doesn't like the mud you can avoid it for sometime by choosing one of the twisting routes, but it's inevitable you're going to make a splash.

--Sidewinder Gulch--

Similar to The Grizzly, it's long with plenty of choice. It's also one of the toughest courses. Route selection can be confusing at first, but once you learn the right one for your vehicle you can breeze through it. The best routes are usually the least obvious here, so keep your eyes peeled. The gulch is filled with mud, dirt, dust and rocks too keep you guessing. Thankfully you won't see this beast until level 3, giving you ample time to hone your skills before they're put to the test.

This is what gets your blood pumping and veins popping while you frantically dash for first place. There is a great selection of tracks which you can customise in the setup menu under 'Audio'. Simply press X on the song you've highlighted to add or remove it from the list. You can listen to it just by highlighting it too. There's 21 in total. Here's the list.

Tickets [P001]

Tickets are just that. Tickets to gain entry to events. There are 21 Tickets in total and each ticket will have between 1 to 4 races. 65 races in total. There are 3 tickets unlocked when you start, but you need points to unlock the rest. Points are gained by winning events (races). Each ticket has a set amount of points to be won from beating the evens inside. You gain more points for coming first, second or third. So, to gain maximum points, you need to get gold.
There are 4 different levels of tickets. 1 being the easiest difficulty and 4 being the hardest. Tickets displaying the gold MotorStorm helmet means it features 'The Grizzly' in an event which in turn means you can choose your vehicle class. As you progress through the tickets, you'll unlock new vehicles. In order to "beat" the game, you must get gold on all tickets. Unfortunately, doing this doesn't award you with anything. Not a bean. Except for pride maybe.
In this section, I'll go though each Ticket and their corresponding events. I will give you tips and tricks, route choices and anything else you might need to help you on your road to sucess. Just remember this game can get frustrating so if you're losing badly, take a break. Listen to some speed metal, do some star jumps and come back feeling refreshed, pumped up and ready to kick some ass. Good luck and have fun.

Welcome to MotorStorm. Since this is your first race and you can pick whatever you want, I'm going to let you drive it however you want. I'm just that nice. So choose your vehicle and dive right in. I will give you some pointers to get you started though.
-If you choose a light vehicle such as the Bike, ATV or Buggy, try to stay on higher ground. Aim for the ramps and avoid the mud as best you can. If you find yourself stuck in the mud, don't boost as much, only out of corners and turn early. Avoid Big Rigs as they will crush the life out of you.
-If you went with the heavy weight classes the routes you'll want will be low, muddy, flat, and short. Don't be afraid to crash into the lightweights as you will be the one to come out laughing. You can also crash your way through obstacles such as the car pile ups and barrels.
-When appraoching the finish line ramp, come in angled left or right. There is a couple of big rocks waiting for a visit from your machine in the middle of your landing zone.
-After the lap ramp, there is a hidden shortcut up on the left. Look for the barrels. This suits all but the Bike and Big Rig. The Bike can't crash through the barrels well and the Big Rig is too Big to navigate safely and swiftly.
-Save some boost for the home stretch. There will be three Rally Cars waiting for their chance to zoom by you if you're not careful.

After take off, you'll be last so fight your way through what you can on the first bend. You'll see the first ramp, aim for it, but go wide first so you can come back in and hit the left side of the ramp. This way you'll avoid the wall on the right. Boost down the stretch and over the next ramp, left side again. Hug the wall to the right once it narrows. Slow down slightly and cross the bridge, braking if you need to. As soon as you cross the bridge, leave the verge and go back to the main road. You're coming to a tight corner here so handbrake a little early and boost out of it. Turn right again, but watch the bump as it can throw you off course. Boost up the hill taking the final left turn wide while boosting and braking if you slide off the corner. Lap over, repeat the for the next two laps.

Go straight, and hit the first ramp. Aim to take the first turn where the road stops sloping down on the left side. Keep left and don't go too fast as there is a big drop off to the right. Keep straight and if you want, hit the rally cars off course. After the small left turn you'll see 2 ramps. Take the one on right and turn while in the air to land in line with the path upwards. Boost up and hit the jump. Stay in the middle here and when you complete the turn, start boosting. You can go low on the first bank here, then keep slightly left after it. Hope the ramp, and you'll come to a very sharp turn. handbrake, then start turning, then boost when facing the right way. Drop the first drop and on the second, yaw to the right and boost when you land and up the 2 ramps. You can keep left here and you should clear the gaps no problem. There is a small shortcut under the air crane chopper. Dodge the rock ramp and break turn around to the finish line. Rinse and repeat.

Turn and boost in front when you can. Pick the middle drop off and land in the mud. Go slightly left to give a better angle at the hill. Boost up and begin turning right, staying in the mud. Smash through the cars and tap the handbrake when you come to the left hand turn. Hit the jump and go right of the rock in the middle of the road, left of the second rock. Keep to the middle and boost on the straight as much as you can. Hit the handbrake early, before the turn and swing right, then boost. Go to the right of the Y sign, turn slightly left and go straight to the big tire. Boost if you can until the turn. Take it wide and turn early. Boost to the middle again. Lap complete.

Go right of the Y sign, and boost as soon as you can to avoid the Big Rigs. Go into the mud which is left of the ramp, going by the right side of the rock. Stay to the right and smash the wood, boosting. Stay in the mud and close to the wall on the right. Don't take the turn on the left too fast, but when you clear it enough, boost up the hill, still turning left. Take the sharp turn left when you see the hand signs, you may wish to slow down slightly or handbrake turn. Take the next right hand turn tightly and boost uphill. Go wide and turn hard into the mud and boost to finish.

Go straight from the start and through the Bike signs. Angle to the right and head towards the wooden bridge. Boost and head to the jump, hitting it as straight as you can. Jump the next ramp straight, but ever so slightly to the right. When you land, keep to the right side of the road as much as you can. On the left side there is a ditch that can crash your Buggy, so avoid it. Cross the bridge and keep right. Fall down onto the curving bridge, adjusting your Buggy in the air. Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Take the first turn and choose the path on the right. Don't go up high here as it's a waste of time and too risky. Go around the left bend smacking the bikers if you want. Keep tight to the cliff to your left until you see the Mud sign. Go left of the sign and either ramp up the rock in the middle aiming left, or go left of the rock and use the small ramp. Stick to the cliff face then hit the jump after the barrels. At the end, you'll fall off, aim your bike left and when you land, tap the handbrake to reduce speed and get a good angle. Take the S bend turns tight, boost up the hill and take the last turn tightly while boosting through the mud.

You should have no problem driving straight into first position before you even hit the first ramp. When you land, keep in the middle and handbrake around the first tight corner. Reduce speed slightly and keep left, avoid dropping off at all costs. Hit the straight and boost a bit. Break and hug the cliff to the left and go for the ramp on the left. Boost and jump the ramp so you just miss the cliff on the left. You should land just after the other path. Don't boost at the next jump as you'll overshoot. Take the left turn and hit the slope low. Keep in the middle after the slope to avoid falling off, then go over the next ramp aiming a little to the left. When you land you should be able to hit the handbrake and swing around the bend. Boost out of if and jump off the 2 drops, turning to agree with the road. Hit the ramps and stay near the middle. It's bumpy along the left side and you'll go off course easily. Don't take the shortcut under the chopper, instead go left of it. Watch your speed on this corner, too fast and you'll fly off the cliff or into a sign.

Jump the ramp while avoiding the buggies as best you can. Land, and turn the corner, letting yourself go out wide on the first part. This will give you a good line for the next corner. Let go of the accelerator if you need to and make the turn. Boost a bit down the drops, turn left and go for the ramp on the right. Don't boost much over the ramp. Go up the curving ramp keeping left. Boost uphill and hit the jump. Turn the corner and head to the slope. Keep to the top and to the left to avoid losing control on your bike. Do the gap and turn the sharp corner. It can be done a little faster on the bike. Drop down as fast as you want, head up the ramps and keep to the middle of the road. Boost the straight, but save some. Head under the helicopter, avoiding the barrels and ramp off the rock. The best way is to aim for the right hand side of the TV, but left is ok too. Cross the finish line and repeat.

Head perfectly straight and go between the two rocks on the mound. Jump to the left and keep left of the second mound. At the corner there is another mound with rocks, coming in wide, aim between the first two rocks and boost. You should have the right angle to dodge the rocks. Land, turn and boost to the tallest part of the mound, hop it and keep in the dip in the road on the right. Near the end of the straight, cut to the left hand side and go for the jump on the corner. Turn as you hit it for a good angle. Head past the rocks and when you reach the fork in the road, choose the right path. Moderate your speed for the sharp turn here, taking care not to fall off the track into the mud. Keep left and boost to the bridge jump. It's tight so keep it in the middle. Veer right and boost to the next fork. Go left, up the hill, boost and pass through the tires. When you land, drive towards the cliff face early and turn back again to the left to navigate the rock chicane with ease. Hug the cliff, and you'll reach a huge ramp. Go up it but stay on the left and side and leave it straight. When you land boost to the finish line.

Cross the bridge and drop to the pathway. Drop off the pathway and keep left of the tires up ahead. Boost up here and through the signs. Keep in the middle and you'll come to another wooden ramp. Stay in the middle and boost on landing. Head forward and choose the ramp on the left. Use the bottom of the sidewinder and boost to finish, staying on the left side.

When you come to the metal sheets, ramp off on the left most sheet, angle to the left. Take the path going up on the left.
Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. When you land, handbrake and turn right immediately, using the slope for control. Boost off and jump the metal sheets. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Turn early to the right and again to the left. Stay in the mud, taking the left path, jump off and go past the first car pile. Boost straight, and go up the longest part of the ramp. Cut the corner on the left and head up to the final turn. Turn and boost at the same time heading for the opening on the right, keep to the middle when crossing the finish line.

Go through the gap in the first set of cars, right of the rock, then turn through the gap in the second car set. Boost over the finish line at an angle to the right. Boost avoiding the ditch and go straight. Take the turn to the left, and aim for the junk pile. Smash through and drive to the fork in the road. Take the left path with a tap on the handbrake. Take the bend on the left side, letting your car fall off the bump into the wider section. Cut back and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to land in the ditch on the right hand side. Stay right avoiding the jumps, boost along and turn left at the end, right of all the rocks. And the end of this turn there is a little bump, hit it and you'll glide over the final rock. At the fork in the road, go right, and then a sharp left, handbrake here and don't fall off the edge. Boost along the straight till you see the raised bridge. Don't cut the corner before it, stay left slightly and jump the bridge. Yaw to the right before landing then boost off. When the road elevates to the left, take the right path. The road will dip, avoid the car pile. Go left of the shack and right of the two mobile homes. The road elevates on the left path, follow it. Give a good boost, staying middle to left and eventually stick close to the rock face. Head left over the two wooden bridges, and stay in the middle of the path here. You'll want to turn off as soon as your path meets the other path. Boost to the finish line and go again.

Get ahead of the Big Rigs, then stay right of the pack when going by the big sidewinder. At the banners, take the path on the right over the bridge, turn and fall into the mud. Boost past the ramp and tap the handbrake, go left and boost out. At the two arrow signs, go left staying in the mud. Follow the path and you'll see the end of a wooden ramp, go right at this ramp up off the mud. Use all of the sidewinder and cross the last bridge. Hit the next sidewinder going through the gap and then to the left of the ramp with the MotorStorm logo on it. Keep left till you see the small ramp, hit it landing in the mud. Boost through this fast section as much as you can, staying in the mud the whole time. Follow the mud and you'll come to a Y sign, go left again staying in the mud, taking care of the rocks. Go through the pipe, and when you see the big rock arch in the background turn up left off the mud. Boost uphill and keep to the left, make the final turn right sliding and boost on home.

Go between the rocks on the left and come to the fork in the road. Go right and take the turn sharply. Boost the stretch and go over the bridge. Land in the direction the turn and boost off. At the fork, go left and high showing the No Big Rig sign. Boost if you can and jump the gap. When you land drive towards the cliff face on the right and then back left again to avoid the rocks easier. Hug the cliff face and come to the big ramp. Go up it and keep to the left side of the ramp. Boost off of it and stop boosting when you're airborne. Land and boost, fall off and boost to the finish line.

About a second before, handbrake and boost. If you time it right you can cross the bridge in a slide and then boost and leave the verge and go back to the main road. Go wide and handbrake turn left, boost and turn early right. Go uphill stay left and powerslide while boosting to finish.

From the get go head straight through the middle path. Don't boost yet and stay on the left side of the road. When you hit the bump, yaw to the right and go for the gap between the rock on the right and the ledge way. Stay close to it and go right of the rock with the ramp. Start boosting and turning keeping in the middle and between the rocks. At the turn right, go between the right-most rocks. Hit the jump at the right side and go right of the rock with the ramp. Hitting the ramp only slows you down, so avoid it. Cut back to the left and go left of the big rock. When you come to the ramp, aim to the right and leave it as right as you can almost aiming for the cliff face on the right. You'll land on an elevated path and come to another ramp with a tree jutting out. Hit this one at a left angle. But not too much. Follow the bend to the right and hit the last ramp boosting. Yaw right and use the path furthest away from you. Your bike won't be able to turn sharply and quickly enough for the ramps to you right. Hit the metal sheets at the T and keep left when going around the bend. You need to turn extra early for the next turn right as it's very slippy. Take the next left turn tight and then the left, low path. Use the ramp and take the path with the cars. Boost and hit the long part of the ramp. At the right angle and speed you can land past the turn. Head up to the final turn and boost while turning. Use the left exit with the long downward slope, leaving the cliff when it turns out to the right.

Use the ramp to jump the gap and stay left of the mud, hugging the wall. You'll come to a ramp, use it and use the sidewinder after. Go to the end and cross the last bridge, hit the next sidewinder and go under the gap. Go left, past the first ramp and you'll see two other smaller ramps. Use the first wooden one. But hit it at a hard left angle. Basically the same way you were facing before you got to it. You may need to boost a little. You should land left of the mud path on a narrow strip. Head between the trees and then cut left, going through the left most gap. When you come out you'll see a long ramp, go wide a bit and hit the ramp. Go left and then right at the fork. Stay to the right and hit the rock ramp just before the two arrow signs. Take the right path here again and turn right at the bend. Boost uphill a bit and when the path narrows you'll want to exit to the left, hard, go through the mud and up the hill. Boost staying left, take the final right turn and boost across the line.

Start by going right, down the hill. Follow the path and aim for the long ramp when you see it. Boost through the mud and up the ramp, then use the ramp to your left and onto the middle path. Go over the next bridge and slow down a tad for the bend on the right. Don't fall off. Cross the bridge and boost along the path. Slow down a bit and go on the outside of the next turn left. Start boosting, go right of the tower and keep that line. Go in between each car pile and hit the ramp at the left side, boosting. Go right side of this tower and turn left. Take the outside and go right of the rock. Take this elevated path, cross the bridge and up the ramp, then cross the next bridge. Use the ramp to your left and when you land, pass between the two rocks. Keep this direction and you'll emerge in the mud near the long ramp. Repeat your previous path.

Head left past the first bump, boosting. Keep left and stop boosting when you have about 4 bars left. Take the first turn wide, but staying on the higher part. Boost when you've completed the first part of the turn and then aim for the left side of the next mound. Ramp off and into the ditch on the right hand side of the road. Continue along here, boosting a bit and turn left at the end. Use the little bump to throw yourself over the final low rock. At the fork turn right cutting through the small S bend. When the turn in complete, dive off the cliff and down into the mud. Dodge the rock on the right and boost up the hill while turning. At this fork, go left and up the hill. (It's the only way you'll beat the ATVs). Boost along and jump the gorge. When you land get over to the right hand side ASAP and line up to pass between the two rocks. Follow the path and you'll come to the huge ramp. Stay on the left side and use a good bit of boost (stop boosting while in the air), and smash through the sign, praying it doesn't flip you much. Land and boost like crazy to the finish.

When you turn the first bend, head towards the left exit with the ramp. Instead of using the ramp, exit just to the right of the ramp in the little gap. This will give you the best approach and you don't have to try turn in the mud. Head up the muddy hill in the middle on it's right side, hitting the bumps to slow you down a bit and give you control. Stay in the mud and take the next bend with a bit of handbrake and some boost when exiting. Dodge the two cars and get to left side of the path when you see the /< /< /< signs. Theres a path to the left of the mud which you should take. Go up here and prepare for a sharp left. You'll see two small /< signs which you should follow. When you pass you'll meet a ramp, pass it on the left stick by the cliff. The path will bend to the right for a while, but when it straightens out, leave it and aim for the right side of the mud. Stay on this rocky surface bending to the right and you'll come to a wide ramp. Don't use it, instead head just left of it and then the road will narrow a little. Head straight and before the next bend, start sliding on your bike to the right. You'll change terrain, your bike will grip and you can boost off. Go under the tire, head right of the Y sign, turn left a little and boost directly to the next tires. Save a bit of boost before the final turn, take it tight and about 3/4's the way through the turn, boost to the finish, taking the same exit as the start. And good luck! :)

Try not to land on anyone at the first jump, and wait until the ramp is clear before boosting. Take the turn left fast and boost the straight drops. After the bend, choose the low route on the right. Hit the ramp without boost and use it going up the hills. Take the left turn and boost when you've completed it. Go low on the first slope and the second if you wish. The buggy can handle it. Ramp, handbrake turn the sharp left corner, boost, then drop down as fast as you can and as close to the rock face as possible. Hit the second ramp boosting and try get as much air as you can. Land in the middle of the road and head to the helicopter. Use the shortcut under it and swing around to the left of the rock ramp. Finish and go again.

Start off by staying to the right of the other cars and boosting by as many as you can. At the flags, take the bridge on the right with the No Bikes sign. Turn and drop to the mud, boosting past the ramp on your left. Tap the handbrake and turn left, boosting when you're angled properly. At the < > sign go left, staying in the mud. Follow this path and you'll eventually come to a ramp above you. At this point turn right and exit the mud. Use the sidewinder to gain speed and cross the small metal bridge at the end. Use the next sidewinder to go behind the rock. Turn left, going past the large ramp and you will come to a small wooden ramp. Hit this aiming for the mud in the middle. On landing boost through this road and you will come to another fork. Go left at the Y sign following the mud again. Boost as much as possible as you stay in mud and pass through the pipe. Soon after, cut left off the mud and boost up the hill. Stay left, avoiding the rocks. Take the last bend tightly and use what boost you have left to finish.

You should have no problem driving straight into first position before you even hit the first ramp. When you land, keep in the middle and handbrake around the first tight corner. Reduce speed slightly and keep left, avoid dropping off at all costs. Hit the straight and boost a bit. Break and hug the cliff to the left and go for the ramp on the left. Boost and jump the ramp so you just miss the cliff on the left. You should land just after the other path. Don't boost at the next jump as you'll overshoot. Take the left turn and hit the slope low. Keep in the middle after the slope to avoid falling off, then go over the next ramp aiming a little to the left. When you land you should be able to hit the handbrake and swing around the bend. Boost out of if and jump off the 2 drops, turning to agree with the road. Hit the ramps and stay near the middle. It's bumpy along the left side and you'll go off course easily. Don't take the shortcut under the chopper, instead go left of it. Watch your speed on this corner, too fast and you'll fly off the cliff or into a sign.

Buggy this time around.
It doesn't really matter which way you go from the start. Both are the same time-wise. We'll take the right here since it's slightly safer for the buggy. So go right, drop down and head towards the mud and the long ramp. Go up the ramp and then use the ramp to the left. Head down the path and over the bridge. Slow down a little on the corner and then use the bridge on the left. Head around left bend and then take the corner wide, not using the gap. Go left of the first rock and right of the tower. Veer left and pass the ramp on it's right side. Pass through the gaps in the two car sets. Use the left most part of the ramp and land to the left of the rocks. Keep on the left side and look for the barrels up ahead. The best way is to pass through the second and third barrels. Keep in the middle and watch for small rocks. Hit through the next barrels in the middle. Keep in the middle and watch for the rocks again. When you're clear you'll see the ramps and bridges. Go straight, in between the ramp to the left and the bridge on the right. Leap off the cliff over the tree. Keep perfectly straight and boost. You'll see the MotorStorm banner, so take the left path. Bend left and as soon as you can leave the cliff and you'll land in the mud facing the long ramp. Go again.

Turn and boost in front when you can. Pick the middle drop off and land in the mud. Go slightly left to give a better angle at the hill. Boost up and begin turning right, staying in the mud. Dodge the car shells and go as fast as you want around the left hand turn. Hit the jump and go right of the rock in the middle of the road, right of the second rock. Keep to the middle and boost on the straight as much as you can. Turn and slide a bit early, before the turn and swing right, then boost. Go to the right of the Y sign, turn slightly left and go straight to the big tire. Boost if you can until the turn. Take it as tight as you can. Boost to the middle again. Lap complete.

Go straight from the start and through the Bike signs. Angle to the right and head towards the wooden bridge. Boost and head to the jump, hitting it as straight as you can. Jump the next ramp straight, but ever so slightly to the right. When you land, keep to the right side of the road as much as you can. On the left side there is a ditch that can crash your Buggy, so avoid it. Cross the bridge and keep right. Fall down onto the curving bridge, adjusting your Buggy in the air. Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Go right at the signs and you'll turn a small bend. There will be a small drop, which you need to aim your bike to the left to land safely. Hug the cliff to your right and when the road splits, head right. Use the sidewinder, then the last bridge, then the next sidewinder going behind the rock pillar. Come out to face the big ramp. You need to hit it the way it's facing to land on the other side properly. The road will spilt again, so stay to the right and go under the tunnel. You need to stay at the left side of the tunnel and when you emerge at the S bend sign go left of the rock with the spectators standing on it. Then, cut back to the right and go between the taller rocks. You'll come to another fork, go right where you see the sign >>>>. Next another fork with the sign < >. Go right and stay right and you'll come to a rock ramp. Jump it aiming to the right and use the path to the right. Turn right at the corner here and boost up the hill. Leave the path your on before you reach the bridge, turning left. Go up the hill on it's left side and when you pass the large rock go right of the thin rock with the people on it. Cut the corner as much as you can and cross the finish line.

Veer left at the start, and go left of the first rock pile, then under the hanging tree branch, head straight, left of the dead tree. Take the bend on the left side, as close to the left most rock as you can. Boost after the first part of the turn and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to land in the ditch on the right hand side. Stay right and boost along the straight, then turn left at the end, right of all the rocks. And the end of the turn there is a little bump, hit it and you'll glide over the final rock. At the fork in the road, choose right, trying to stay in the middle of the S bend. Stay high and to the left, boost along to the raised bridge. Land aiming right a little and boost along beside the cliff. At the fork take the high path on the left. Jump the gap between the tires and when you land, get on the right side of the path. Navigate between the two rocks and stay close to the wall on your right. You'll come to the big ramp, so get on an stay on it's left side for a good take off. In the air weight shift your truck's nose in the air a little for a good landing. Boost as much as you can towards the finish line.

Ignore the tip at the start, we're going to avoid the mud. Start off by taking the exit in the middle. Pass through the mud and up the hill. Use the right side of the hill, on it's lip. Stay in the mud and turn the corner, cutting it slightly and boosting on exit. Dodge the cars and head to the left side of the mud. Use the path which elevates on the left, out of the mud. Turn the bend and pass left of the signs. Go by the ramp on your right and stay in the middle as best you can. Follow it around the bend and the path will spilt. Stay to the right, on the higher ground. You'll come to a sort of ramp (it's just rock) at which point you should ramp off to the right into the mud. Aim to land between the white car shell and the rock. Boost on landing to the right hand turn. Do a power slide on the mud, and boost on connection of the new surface. Don't cut the corner though as there is a car waiting there. Head under the tire and go right at the Y sign. Turn left a bit and boost through the tires. Let the boost cool down and take the last turn tightly, boosting with what you have left to finish.

Use the gap in the rocks on the first mound, go left of the second mound with the dead tree. Stay a little to the left and at the bend use the top of the mound on the right and jump at a slight angle to the right. After the bend use the left most part of the mound to jump over the ditch and then head between the rocks with the buggy sign. Go right of the next rock, veer to the left and use the gap in the rocks on the left. Yaw left in the air and hit the next gap in the middle. At the fork in the rock go right of the TV cutting both corners in the S bend. Keep up top and close to the cliff face. Boost to the raised bridge, not cutting the corner. When you jump the gap, yaw right and boost off to the next spilt in the road. Go high and left, boosting up the hill. Jump the gap and navigate the rock chicane. Stay on this high path, following the bend till you come to the ramp. Get on it and boost a little. Exit on the left side, land and boost following the arrow signs to finish.

Take the middle exit and boost when you can. Keep in the middle and go between the first two rocks, then left of the low rock with the ramp on it. Take the left bend with some boost in moderation to keep a good line. Stay centered and go right of the rock in the middle of the road. Use the right part of the ramps flying past the first rock to it's right. Cut over to the left, and pass all the rocks on their left side. Use the left most part of the metal sheets and aim left. Take the elevated path up on the left. Stay as right as you can on this path, passing the rock pillars on the right. There is a metal slope going down by the big arrow sign, so use that and land left of the other ramp ahead of you. Turn the bend and boost to the metal sheets. Hit the sheet that's to the right of the T. Keep near the center around the left bend, then cut the corner on the right bend. Left again, then stay left, ignoring the elevated path. Hit the ramps aiming left a bit. Stay left of the cars and the big rock then use the shorter parts of the ramp. Boost by the flags and turn the last bend close to the junk. Finish the lap through the middle exit again.

Start off by going over the bridge on the left. Keep left and on the high path until you come to a ramp. Instead of using the ramp, leave the cliff just to the right of it. Land on the ground below, boost off and drop again into the mud. Navigate around the mud, using boost to help you turn. Come to the wide ramp and exit it on the left corner, heading for the gap in the cliff. Pass through, go left of the rock and tower. Keep this line in the middle, passing right of the ramp and through the car pile gaps. Exit the ramp at a left angle. Keep left here and burst through the barrels as best you can. Go to the next barrels and use the gap in the middle of them. Come out and the ramp and dive off the cliff just right of the ramp. Drive through the mud and when the road forks, go left. Keep as left as you can and pass through the narrow gaps in the rocks. Fall off and you'll land back in the mud in which you started this route. Repeat!

Ignore the bikes and ATV and go through the middle. Boost when you can and pass through the two big rocks in the center. Swing past the rock with the ramp on it's left side. Take the left turn while boosting if you wish, but don't go too far left. Staying in the middle, pass the 3 rocks and right of the last rock. Hit the right hand side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. When you come to the metal sheets, ramp off on the left most sheet, angle to the left. Take the path going up on the left. Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. Turn tightly and hit the ramp at the T. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Boost through the turns here and take the low path. Hit the ramp and go through the middle of the cars. Go left of the last rock here and use the left part of the ramp. The long bit will crash your ATV. Take the last two turns and head for left the left exit, with the long ramp. (Lap complete). Head down the ramp and dive off the cliff when it starts to jut out to the right.

Stay to the right and smash the wood, boosting. Stay in the mud and close to the wall on the right. Don't take the turn on the left too fast, but when you clear it enough, boost up the hill, still turning left. Take the sharp turn left when you see the hand signs, you may wish to slow down slightly or handbrake turn. Take the next right hand turn tightly and boost uphill. Go wide and turn hard into the mud and boost to finish.

Go straight from the start and through the Bike signs. Angle to the right and head towards the wooden bridge. Boost and head to the jump, hitting it as straight as you can. Jump the next ramp straight, but ever so slightly to the right. When you land, keep to the right side of the road as much as you can. On the left side there is a ditch that can crash your Buggy, so avoid it. Cross the bridge and keep right. Fall down onto the curving bridge, adjusting your Buggy in the air. Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Mill through what you can, using the sidewinder if you need to. When the road splits, take the left path over the left bridge. Boost here and turn left just before you hit the sidewinder. Use the ramp to jump the gap and stay left of the mud, hugging the wall. You'll come to a ramp, use it and use the sidewinder after. Go to the end and cross the last bridge, hit the next sidewinder and go under the gap. Go left, past the first ramp and you'll see two other smaller ramps. Use the first wooden one. But hit it at a hard left angle. Basically the same way you were facing before you got to it. You may need to boost a little. You should land left of the mud path on a narrow strip. Head between the trees and then cut left, going through the left most gap. When you come out you'll see a long ramp, go wide a bit and hit the ramp. Go left and then right at the fork. Stay to the right and hit the rock ramp just before the two arrow signs. Take the right path here again and turn right at the bend. Boost uphill a bit and when the path narrows you'll want to exit to the left, hard, go through the mud and up the hill. Go past the big rock and cut right before the rock with the people standing on it. Cut the corner and finish.

Immediately veer right and go right of the Y sign. Cross the bridge and boost when it's available. Hit the little bump and yaw right slightly to land on the bridge correctly. Boost forward and hit the ramp straight on, if a little to the right. Boost forward again and hit the next ramp a little to the right. When you land steer onto the right hand side of the road to avoid the sharp dip. Cross the bridge and drop down the drop. Aim to drop on the curved bridge in the middle and when you land tap the handbrake to put you in a slide. Boost around the whole thing and leap off towards the tires. Go left of them and head forward, jumping the next gap in the middle. Get to the wooden ramp, hitting it in the center. Stay a little to the left and do the next drop. Come to the two wooden ramps and go inbetween them boosting. Use the sidewinder near the top of it (over the glass). Cross the finish line on the left side of the Y sign, hit the jump and cut right to cross the bridge again.

Boost past the Big Rigs, and go left of the first rock pile, then under the hanging tree branch, head straight, left of the dead tree. Take the bend on the left side, as close to the left most rock as you can. Boost after the first part of the turn and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to the left side and pass by the Buggy sign, go right of the next rock and cut back to the left again. Boost over the bump angled left and through the next gap in the rocks. Go right at the fork by the TV screen, navigate the S bend When that path narrows just after the bend, jump off the edge onto the mud. Keep right and pass the rock, then head up the hill cutting the corner. Boost to the MotorStorm banner and choose the path going to the left. Get some speed and jump the gap, smashing the tires on the right. Land close to the rock on the right side and stay there cutting left through the two rocks. Go around the bend taking care not to fall off. When you see the ramp, get on and keep to the left side of it. Boost up and leave it straight. Land and boost around the last turn right to finish.

Go through the big opening on the right and drop down, staying in the middle. On the first bend, stay in the middle and go past the rocks through the middle. Go left, past the next rock(with metal ramp). Take the next long bend as tight as you can, then go in between the 3 big rocks, then the 2 smaller rocks on the right hand side of the road. Take the right and hit the right and side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. Leave the ramp in the middle (wooden planks) and land between the rocks in the middle of the road. Follow the road until you come to the Y sign, go left and keep left heading around the big bend. Boost off and jump the metal sheets. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Turn early to the right and again to the left. Stay in the mud, taking the left path, jump off and go past the car piles on either side. Boost straight, and go up the longest part of the ramp. Cut the corner on the left and head up to the final turn. Turn and boost at the same time heading for the opening on the right, keep to the middle when crossing the finish line.

Ramp, handbrake turn the sharp left corner, boost, then drop down as fast as you can and as close to the rock face as possible. Hit the second ramp boosting and try get as much air as you can. Land in the middle of the road and head to the helicopter. Use the shortcut under it and swing around to the left of the rock ramp. Finish and go again.

Go under the TV screen and through the signs. Head right and down onto the low wooden bridge. Cross over and boost to the next ramp. Hit it head on and the same with the next ramp. Fly down the hill, over the bridge and keep to the middle. Through the signs, down the drop and onto the curving bridge. Jump and go left of the tire pile. Boost as you want and hit the next wooden ramp in the middle. Keep centered and aim slightly right when leaving the rock drop. Use ramp on the left next and driver to the sidewinder. Use the top, flat part. You can boost around this if you control it right. Head under the TV, don't go low and right. Lap done, repeat.

Go right, down the slow and boost around the others when you can until you reach the mud. Go up the long ramp, leaving it and it's left corner. Stay wide a little and cross the bridge which is located past the ramp. Head to the next bridge and turn the bend here. You may need to tap the handbrake ground around the second part of the turn. Cross the next bridge and follow the road and you will come to where the paths meet. Go wide, around the gap in the cliff, then right of the rock, left of the tower. Stay straight and pass the ramp on it's right side. Gap through the car pile, right of the rock, gap through the next car pile. Boost of the ramp, angled left. Stay left and look for the barrels. Go wide slightly, tap the handbrake so you face in the direction of path and hit the barrels. Go on to the next set of barrels and smash through them. Go straight and leave the cliff, passing between the ramp and bridge. Land and boost forward to the MotorStorm banner. Take the left road and go around the bend. As soon as you complete the bend go right of the tall rock and dive into the mud in the direction of the long ramp. Go up the ramp again and repeat.

Keep straight and if you want, hit the rally cars off course. After the small left turn you'll see 2 ramps. Take the one on right and turn while in the air to land in line with the path upwards. Boost up and hit the jump. Stay in the middle here and when you complete the turn, start boosting. You can go low on the first bank here, then keep slightly left after it. Hope the ramp, and you'll come to a very sharp turn. handbrake, then start turning, then boost when facing the right way. Drop the first drop and on the second, yaw to the right and boost when you land and up the 2 ramps. You can keep left here and you should clear the gaps no problem. There is a small shortcut under the air crane chopper. Dodge the rock ramp and break turn around to the finish line. Rinse and repeat.

Start off by taking the exit in the middle. Pass through the mud and up the hill. Use the right side of the hill, on it's lip. Stay in the mud and turn the corner, cutting it slightly and boosting on exit. Dodge the cars and head to the left side of the mud. Use the path which elevates on the left, out of the mud. Turn the bend and pass left of the signs. Go by the ramp on your right and stay in the middle as best you can. Follow it around the bend and the path will spilt. Stay to the right, on the higher ground. You'll come to a sort of ramp (it's just rock) at which point you should ramp off to the right into the mud. Aim to land between the white car shell and the rock. Boost on landing to the right hand turn. Do a power slide on the mud, and boost on connection of the new surface. Don't cut the corner though as there is a car waiting there. Head under the tire and go right at the Y sign. Turn left a bit and boost through the tires. Let the boost cool down and take the last turn tightly, boosting with what you have left to finish.

Head left, over the bridge. Stay left on the high ground and use the ramp you meet. Go down the slope and jump off when it juts in to the left and before the tree. Land in the mud and boost off and follow the mud up to the wide ramp. Exit the ramp at the left corner and pass under the gap in the rock. Stay left of the tower and head straight. Go right of the ramp and then pass through the two car piles. Hit the ramp heading left and find the shortcut up ahead. Go through the barrels and then through the next barrels. When you come out go straight and dive off the cliff to the lower section of mud. Come to the fork, take the left path. Stay left and pass all the rocks on the left side. You'll emerge at the drop to the mud. Drop down and repeat the previous.

When you turn the first bend, head towards the left exit with the ramp. Instead of using the ramp, exit just to the right of the ramp in the little gap. This will give you the best approach and you don't have to try turn in the mud. Head up the muddy hill in the middle on it's right side, hitting the bumps to slow you down a bit and give you control. Stay in the mud and take the next bend with a bit of handbrake and some boost when exiting. Dodge the two cars and get to left side of the path when you see the /< /< /< signs. Theres a path to the left of the mud which you should take. Go up here and prepare for a sharp left. You'll see two small /< signs which you should follow. When you pass you'll meet a ramp, pass it on the left stick by the cliff. The path will bend to the right for a while, but when it straightens out, leave it and aim for the right side of the mud. Stay on this rocky surface bending to the right and you'll come to a wide ramp. Don't use it, instead head just left of it and then the road will narrow a little. Head straight and before the next bend, start sliding on your bike to the right. You'll change terrain, your bike will grip and you can boost off. Go under the tire, head right of the Y sign, turn left a little and boost directly to the next tires. Save a bit of boost before the final turn, take it tight and about 3/4's the way through the turn, boost to the finish, taking the same exit as the start. And good luck! :)

Stay a little to the left and at the bend use the top of the mound on the right and jump at a slight angle to the right. After the bend use the left most part of the mound to jump over the ditch and then head between the rocks with the buggy sign. Go right of the next rock, veer to the left and use the gap in the rocks on the left. Yaw left in the air and hit the next gap in the middle. At the fork in the rock go right of the TV cutting both corners in the S bend. Keep up top and close to the cliff face. Boost to the raised bridge, not cutting the corner. When you jump the gap, yaw right and boost off to the next spilt in the road. Go high and left, boosting up the hill. Jump the gap and navigate the rock chicane. Stay on this high path, following the bend till you come to the ramp. Get on it and boost a little. Exit on the left side, land and boost following the arrow signs to finish.

Turn and boost in front when you can. Pick the middle drop off and land in the mud. Go slightly left to give a better angle at the hill. Boost up and begin turning right, staying in the mud. Dodge the car shells and go as fast as you want around the left hand turn. Hit the jump and go right of the rock in the middle of the road, right of the second rock. Keep to the middle and boost on the straight as much as you can. Turn and slide a bit early, before the turn and swing right, then boost. Go to the right of the Y sign, turn slightly left and go straight to the big tire. Boost if you can until the turn. Take it as tight as you can. Boost to the middle again. Lap complete.

Head straight at the start and through the middle. Boost when you can and pass through the two big rocks in the center. Swing past the rock with the ramp on it's left side. Take the left turn while boosting if you wish, but don't go too far left. Staying in the middle, pass the 3 rocks and right of the last rock. Hit the right hand side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. When you come to the metal sheets, ramp off on the left most sheet, angle to the left. Take the path going up on the left. Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. Turn tightly and hit the ramp at the T. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Boost through the turns here and take the low path. Hit the ramp and go through the middle of the cars. Go left of the last rock here and use the left part of the ramp. The long bit will crash your ATV. Take the last two turns and head for left the left exit, with the long ramp. (Lap complete). Head down the ramp and dive off the cliff when it starts to jut out to the right.

Rally Car is all that's left. Might as well end it with speed.
Go right, down the slow and boost around the others when you can until you reach the mud. Go up the long ramp, leaving it and it's left corner. Stay wide a little and cross the bridge which is located past the ramp. Head to the next bridge and turn the bend here. You may need to tap the handbrake ground around the second part of the turn. Cross the next bridge and follow the road and you will come to where the paths meet. Go wide, around the gap in the cliff, then right of the rock, left of the tower. Stay straight and pass the ramp on it's right side. Gap through the car pile, right of the rock, gap through the next car pile. Boost of the ramp, angled left. Stay left and look for the barrels. Go wide slightly, tap the handbrake so you face in the direction of path and hit the barrels. Go on to the next set of barrels and smash through them. Go straight and leave the cliff, passing between the ramp and bridge. Land and boost forward to the MotorStorm banner. Take the left road and go around the bend. As soon as you complete the bend go right of the tall rock and dive into the mud in the direction of the long ramp. Go up the ramp again and repeat.
Congratulations, you've beaten MotorStorm. Hopefully without using the boost trick. Give your self a cookie, because you get no rewards from MotorStorm. Damn hippies. Time to play online?

Getting Started [O001]

To play MotorStorm online, you will need to have a PSN (PlayStation Network) account. You do this from the Network section on the cross media bar of your PS3. When you hit the Online button in MotorStorm, you will be prompted to log in if you're not already. Once you're logged in you'll need to select the server or "universe" closest to you.
From here you can check your buddies list, which is linked to your PSN buddies list. Play will bring you to the Lobby List. Go ahead and pick any lobby you want. They're broken up into different languages and regions. Inside a lobby you have the choice of creating or joining a game and viewing the players of that lobby.

++Creating A Game++
Very simple to do. Firstly, the game name will be the same as your user name, but you can change this if you wish. Select "Game Name" and type what you want. Next, choose your venue with "Track Selection". Certain venues will only allow certain vehicles, which you can see in "Vehicle Selection" - Pick what you want to allow others to choose. "Number of laps" is just that. How many times you want to drive around the track. "Ambience" is the time of day you will be driving in. Remember that most people don't like the darker settings. "Catch up" can be turned on or off. This means the player in 1st place will have a shorter boost time, while the player in last will have the longest boost time. Finally, "Friends only" will make the game public or private. Private means only people on your buddy list can join your game.
++Joining A Game++
You can see here the Game Name, the number of players and which track is being driven on. When you select a game it will give you more information about the game before you actually join. The Game Status here shows if the race is in progress or not.
Once you join, it will show you who is racing, their status in the race and their fame. If the race is already in progress you will need to wait until everyone finishes the race, then the host will re-configure the game and you will race the next race.

It may take some time for the sever to update your rank. So if you play and win some races and it still shows you as Zero, wait a while.

-Light Vehicles should travel on the high routes.
-Heavy Vehicles should avoid ramps and travel on low ground.
-When on a Bike or ATV, use the action button swipe at other Bikes and ATVs.
-The Big Rig takes the shortest route, while the Rally Car takes the longest.
-The lighter the vehicle, the easier it is to control in the air.
-When mud splashes in your view, double tap "Change View" to get rid of it.
-You can make crash sequences shorter by hitting x or R2 after a few seconds.
-Put the hand-break to good use, it can win you races.
-There is a catch-up logic in the game. You can never truly "Get away"
-You can time your "over-boost" to explode over the finish line, saving time.
-Don't use boost while in the air. It does nothing.
-Use the select button to reset your car when stuck or facing the wrong way.
-Force vehicles onto routes which they don't like, it will slow them down.

Big Heads - Pause the game, then hold L1+L2+R1+R2+R3(whilst pushed right)+L3 (whilst pushed left) Works on ATVs and Bikes only.
Unlock Everything - At main menu hold L1+L2+R1+R2+R3(whilst pushed up)+L3 (whilst pushed down)
"Infinite boost" - Keep tapping the boost button while driving. You should hear the engine rev high and your boost meter will not go up or down. Note: This is actually a design exploit, and will be fixed in the next update.

On very rare occasions, bad clipping detection can occur.

Hello ladies and gentle people and welcome to my first ever FAQ. My aim of this guide is to present you with all the information on Motorstorm possible and to help you through this fantastic game. In the tickets section I'll walk through each event, giving the best route for each one. I tested each route numerous times and chose the best mix of speed and safety. Though, speed was usually precedent. As a result, some routes may need a bit of practice, but when used correctly, they will save you a good deal of time.
The reason I wrote this FAQ is because, well, nobody else has posted one thus far. As it's my first guide, I would appreciate any feedback you have to offer - good or bad - which you can send to my contact information. See below for details. Thank you for reading!

Vehicles [G004]

In MotorStorm, you get to choose between 7 different vehicle classes. Within each class, there is 5 different vehicles So say you choose the Bike class. You then get to pick from 5 different bikes. Also, each vehicle has 3 different skins. Of course, you need to unlock these extra vehicles as you progress through the game. Initially there are only 2 different vehicles to choose from in each class. Some people debate that there are differences between the 5 vehicles in each class. I don't believe this is true.
When choosing your vehicle, use the left/right directional buttons to move between the classes, then through the different vehicles. You can then select a skin by using the up/down directional buttons.
Below you will find information for each class and the names of each vehicle. On we go. Vroom.

Possibly the most fun class of them all. Not only can you jump off ramps like no other, you get to stick your fingers up at your opponents! Bikes have the fastest acceleration of any class. They're also the most likely to break apart on you if you so much as hit a pebble on the road or say "hello" to a big rig. You can also punch other Bike and ATV riders off their ride.

An all-rounder of sorts. It's decent at most terrain and routes, can keep the pace and won't fall apart too easily. When hitting the jumps boosting is a good idea as it's fairly heavy. Buggies get a good amount of use and are a good choice as a starting vehicle.

If you want to go fast, drive a rally car. They have the highest speed of all and acceleration on par with the lighter vehicles. Probably the most difficult class to master, but also the most rewarding. They tend to take the longest and most difficult routes.

Big and mean, mud pluggers are actually a very good class choice. As the name suggests, it's great in the mud and other terrain. However is lacks the speed to beat others on the straights. It has a nice boost to help it's poor acceleration and can take the nice easy, wide routes with ease.

Last but definitely not least, the Big Ugly One. While generally slow, they can pick up major speed when boosting, couple that with it's handling in the mud, devastating crushing power and you've got yourself a winning class. Drawbacks? Takes an hour to get going and turning is hazardous.

There are 8 venues (tracks) in the game. This may not seem like much, but the game forces you to pick specific vehicles each ticket. So you may drive on Rain God Mesa on a bike first, but you'll also do it on the other vehicles. I'll give an overview of the venues in this section. For more detail, look at the specific ticket you want information on.

--The Grizzly--

The first Venue you come into contact with and boy is it something. It's the longest track of them all, with plenty of routes to choose from. There is something for every class here, hence you can pick any you wish. There are jumps and shortcuts for bikes, ATVs and Buggies. Stretches of mud for Big Rigs and Mud Pluggers. Long straights for Rally Cars and Racing Trucks. You could argue all day about which class is best for this course. There isn't one that outshines the other and you can with with anything. So have just fun with your favorite machine.

--Coyote Rage--

From the longest to the shortest, we have The Rage. Even a sardine would feel claustrophobic on parts of this track. There's a line of mud in the middle to suit the heavy cars, whilst there are two other options available for lightweights around each edge of the venue. The 3 routes merge into one tight snake-like valley which can be hell for bikes.

--Rain God Mesa--

Next up is the most dangerous course of all. You're going to fall of the edge at some point. Sharp corners, bumps, rough terrain, slopes and big gaps are some of the obstacles to watch out for. Mainly dust and rock, the bike may be a good choice, but only if you know how to drive like a pro. As there is a bare minimum of shortcuts, you'll need to rely more on skill and sheer determination to win.

--The Mudpool--

No prizes for guessing the terrain of this venue. Mud. Lots of mud. It's not all bad though, a good portion of it can be avoided if you're skilled enough. You'll need to choose the right route if you want to merely survive this one. The big rig is a popular choice here, for obvious reasons. So think twice about picking the bike if you don't know what you're doing.

--Rock Hopper--

A pretty simple course here. Only two turns and pretty much only two routes. So what makes it fun? Jumps! You'll be bumping heads with the seagulls here which makes bikes, ATVs and Buggies a great choice. A couple of sly routes will give you the edge, so watch out for them and stick to them. There is no clear cut better vehicle class for this track either. Go with what you know.

--Dust Devil--

This one is simple yet complex. You can go through the whole thing without hitting much of a jump or you could be jumping like a maniac. Since the track is generally dust, you can pick any route you wish. Even in Big Rigs you can hit the jumps and win. Watch out for rocks popping out of the earth and if you decide to go the village route, a heavy grade vehicle helps ram through the houses and other annoyances in your way.

Obstacles aplenty, The Tenderizer requires a tender touch. (Groan). With dark sections and mud flying in your face it can be hard to see where you're going and you may find yourself parking your machine into a big rock. If your class doesn't like the mud you can avoid it for sometime by choosing one of the twisting routes, but it's inevitable you're going to make a splash.

--Sidewinder Gulch--

Similar to The Grizzly, it's long with plenty of choice. It's also one of the toughest courses. Route selection can be confusing at first, but once you learn the right one for your vehicle you can breeze through it. The best routes are usually the least obvious here, so keep your eyes peeled. The gulch is filled with mud, dirt, dust and rocks too keep you guessing. Thankfully you won't see this beast until level 3, giving you ample time to hone your skills before they're put to the test.

This is what gets your blood pumping and veins popping while you frantically dash for first place. There is a great selection of tracks which you can customise in the setup menu under 'Audio'. Simply press X on the song you've highlighted to add or remove it from the list. You can listen to it just by highlighting it too. There's 21 in total. Here's the list.

Tickets [P001]

Tickets are just that. Tickets to gain entry to events. There are 21 Tickets in total and each ticket will have between 1 to 4 races. 65 races in total. There are 3 tickets unlocked when you start, but you need points to unlock the rest. Points are gained by winning events (races). Each ticket has a set amount of points to be won from beating the evens inside. You gain more points for coming first, second or third. So, to gain maximum points, you need to get gold.
There are 4 different levels of tickets. 1 being the easiest difficulty and 4 being the hardest. Tickets displaying the gold MotorStorm helmet means it features 'The Grizzly' in an event which in turn means you can choose your vehicle class. As you progress through the tickets, you'll unlock new vehicles. In order to "beat" the game, you must get gold on all tickets. Unfortunately, doing this doesn't award you with anything. Not a bean. Except for pride maybe.
In this section, I'll go though each Ticket and their corresponding events. I will give you tips and tricks, route choices and anything else you might need to help you on your road to sucess. Just remember this game can get frustrating so if you're losing badly, take a break. Listen to some speed metal, do some star jumps and come back feeling refreshed, pumped up and ready to kick some ass. Good luck and have fun.

Welcome to MotorStorm. Since this is your first race and you can pick whatever you want, I'm going to let you drive it however you want. I'm just that nice. So choose your vehicle and dive right in. I will give you some pointers to get you started though.
-If you choose a light vehicle such as the Bike, ATV or Buggy, try to stay on higher ground. Aim for the ramps and avoid the mud as best you can. If you find yourself stuck in the mud, don't boost as much, only out of corners and turn early. Avoid Big Rigs as they will crush the life out of you.
-If you went with the heavy weight classes the routes you'll want will be low, muddy, flat, and short. Don't be afraid to crash into the lightweights as you will be the one to come out laughing. You can also crash your way through obstacles such as the car pile ups and barrels.
-When appraoching the finish line ramp, come in angled left or right. There is a couple of big rocks waiting for a visit from your machine in the middle of your landing zone.
-After the lap ramp, there is a hidden shortcut up on the left. Look for the barrels. This suits all but the Bike and Big Rig. The Bike can't crash through the barrels well and the Big Rig is too Big to navigate safely and swiftly.

After take off, you'll be last so fight your way through what you can on the first bend. You'll see the first ramp, aim for it, but go wide first so you can come back in and hit the left side of the ramp. This way you'll avoid the wall on the right. Boost down the stretch and over the next ramp, left side again. Hug the wall to the right once it narrows. Slow down slightly and cross the bridge, braking if you need to. As soon as you cross the bridge, leave the verge and go back to the main road. You're coming to a tight corner here so handbrake a little early and boost out of it. Turn right again, but watch the bump as it can throw you off course. Boost up the hill taking the final left turn wide while boosting and braking if you slide off the corner. Lap over, repeat the for the next two laps.

Go straight, and hit the first ramp. Aim to take the first turn where the road stops sloping down on the left side. Keep left and don't go too fast as there is a big drop off to the right. Keep straight and if you want, hit the rally cars off course. After the small left turn you'll see 2 ramps. Take the one on right and turn while in the air to land in line with the path upwards. Boost up and hit the jump. Stay in the middle here and when you complete the turn, start boosting. You can go low on the first bank here, then keep slightly left after it. Hope the ramp, and you'll come to a very sharp turn. handbrake, then start turning, then boost when facing the right way. Drop the first drop and on the second, yaw to the right and boost when you land and up the 2 ramps. You can keep left here and you should clear the gaps no problem. There is a small shortcut under the air crane chopper. Dodge the rock ramp and break turn around to the finish line. Rinse and repeat.

Go right of the Y sign, and boost as soon as you can to avoid the Big Rigs. Go into the mud which is left of the ramp, going by the right side of the rock. Stay to the right and smash the wood, boosting. Stay in the mud and close to the wall on the right. Don't take the turn on the left too fast, but when you clear it enough, boost up the hill, still turning left. Take the sharp turn left when you see the hand signs, you may wish to slow down slightly or handbrake turn. Take the next right hand turn tightly and boost uphill. Go wide and turn hard into the mud and boost to finish.

Go straight from the start and through the Bike signs. Angle to the right and head towards the wooden bridge. Boost and head to the jump, hitting it as straight as you can. Jump the next ramp straight, but ever so slightly to the right. When you land, keep to the right side of the road as much as you can. On the left side there is a ditch that can crash your Buggy, so avoid it. Cross the bridge and keep right. Fall down onto the curving bridge, adjusting your Buggy in the air. Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Take the first turn and choose the path on the right. Don't go up high here as it's a waste of time and too risky. Go around the left bend smacking the bikers if you want. Keep tight to the cliff to your left until you see the Mud sign. Go left of the sign and either ramp up the rock in the middle aiming left, or go left of the rock and use the small ramp. Stick to the cliff face then hit the jump after the barrels. At the end, you'll fall off, aim your bike left and when you land, tap the handbrake to reduce speed and get a good angle. Take the S bend turns tight, boost up the hill and take the last turn tightly while boosting through the mud.

You should have no problem driving straight into first position before you even hit the first ramp. When you land, keep in the middle and handbrake around the first tight corner. Reduce speed slightly and keep left, avoid dropping off at all costs. Hit the straight and boost a bit. Break and hug the cliff to the left and go for the ramp on the left. Boost and jump the ramp so you just miss the cliff on the left. You should land just after the other path. Don't boost at the next jump as you'll overshoot. Take the left turn and hit the slope low. Keep in the middle after the slope to avoid falling off, then go over the next ramp aiming a little to the left. When you land you should be able to hit the handbrake and swing around the bend. Boost out of if and jump off the 2 drops, turning to agree with the road. Hit the ramps and stay near the middle. It's bumpy along the left side and you'll go off course easily. Don't take the shortcut under the chopper, instead go left of it. Watch your speed on this corner, too fast and you'll fly off the cliff or into a sign.

Jump the ramp while avoiding the buggies as best you can. Land, and turn the corner, letting yourself go out wide on the first part. This will give you a good line for the next corner. Let go of the accelerator if you need to and make the turn. Boost a bit down the drops, turn left and go for the ramp on the right. Don't boost much over the ramp. Go up the curving ramp keeping left. Boost uphill and hit the jump. Turn the corner and head to the slope. Keep to the top and to the left to avoid losing control on your bike. Do the gap and turn the sharp corner. It can be done a little faster on the bike. Drop down as fast as you want, head up the ramps and keep to the middle of the road. Boost the straight, but save some. Head under the helicopter, avoiding the barrels and ramp off the rock. The best way is to aim for the right hand side of the TV, but left is ok too. Cross the finish line and repeat.

Head perfectly straight and go between the two rocks on the mound. Jump to the left and keep left of the second mound. At the corner there is another mound with rocks, coming in wide, aim between the first two rocks and boost. You should have the right angle to dodge the rocks. Land, turn and boost to the tallest part of the mound, hop it and keep in the dip in the road on the right. Near the end of the straight, cut to the left hand side and go for the jump on the corner. Turn as you hit it for a good angle. Head past the rocks and when you reach the fork in the road, choose the right path. Moderate your speed for the sharp turn here, taking care not to fall off the track into the mud. Keep left and boost to the bridge jump. It's tight so keep it in the middle. Veer right and boost to the next fork. Go left, up the hill, boost and pass through the tires. When you land, drive towards the cliff face early and turn back again to the left to navigate the rock chicane with ease. Hug the cliff, and you'll reach a huge ramp. Go up it but stay on the left and side and leave it straight. When you land boost to the finish line.

Go straight and keep to the left hand path. Keep in the middle through the first couple of drops and you'll come to the first ramp. Leave straight, from the right hand side. Boost and cross the bridge. When you leave the bridge, you will see a grassy area with some trees. Cross through it at a diagonal, aiming for the next bridge. Cross the bridge and drop to the pathway. Drop off the pathway and keep left of the tires up ahead. Boost up here and through the signs. Keep in the middle and you'll come to another wooden ramp. Stay in the middle and boost on landing. Head forward and choose the ramp on the left. Use the bottom of the sidewinder and boost to finish, staying on the left side.

Go through the big opening on the right and drop down, staying in the middle. At the first bend go between the two big rocks, braking if you need to. Swing past the left side of the rock in the middle. Take the next long bend as tight as you can, then go in between the 3 big rocks, then the 2 smaller rocks on the right hand side of the road. Take the right and hit the right hand side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. When you come to the metal sheets, ramp off on the left most sheet, angle to the left. Take the path going up on the left.
Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. When you land, handbrake and turn right immediately, using the slope for control. Boost off and jump the metal sheets. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Turn early to the right and again to the left. Stay in the mud, taking the left path, jump off and go past the first car pile. Boost straight, and go up the longest part of the ramp. Cut the corner on the left and head up to the final turn. Turn and boost at the same time heading for the opening on the right, keep to the middle when crossing the finish line.

Drive over the bridge at the start, smashing the Racing Truck hard if it blocks you. Take the high path on the left and drive up to the mini ramp. Don't use the ramp, instead, drive just to the right of it and fall down a level. Boost and fall again into the mud. Boost along the mud path and come to the ramp. Go up and aim to go through the gap in the cliff. Head left side of the tower and keep in the middle path. Go through the gap in the first set of cars, right of the rock, then turn through the gap in the second car set. Boost over the finish line at an angle to the right. Boost avoiding the ditch and go straight. Take the turn to the left, and aim for the junk pile. Smash through and drive to the fork in the road. Take the left path with a tap on the handbrake. Stick to the left of the road, taking any left path you can past the rocks. You'll emerge at the drop to the mud you made at the start. Repeat.

Drift left at the start, and go left of the first rock pile, then under the hanging tree branch, head straight, left of the dead tree. Take the bend on the left side, letting your car fall off the bump into the wider section. Cut back and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to land in the ditch on the right hand side. Stay right avoiding the jumps, boost along and turn left at the end, right of all the rocks. And the end of this turn there is a little bump, hit it and you'll glide over the final rock. At the fork in the road, go right, and then a sharp left, handbrake here and don't fall off the edge. Boost along the straight till you see the raised bridge. Don't cut the corner before it, stay left slightly and jump the bridge. Yaw to the right before landing then boost off. When the road elevates to the left, take the right path. The road will dip, avoid the car pile. Go left of the shack and right of the two mobile homes. The road elevates on the left path, follow it. Give a good boost, staying middle to left and eventually stick close to the rock face. Head left over the two wooden bridges, and stay in the middle of the path here. You'll want to turn off as soon as your path meets the other path. Boost to the finish line and go again.

Boost as you want and hit the next wooden ramp in the middle. Keep centered and aim slightly right when leaving the rock drop. Use ramp on the left next and driver to the sidewinder. Use the top, flat part. You can boost around this if you control it right. Head under the TV, don't go low and right. Lap done, repeat.

Hit the right hand side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. Get ahead of the Big Rigs, then stay right of the pack when going by the big sidewinder. At the banners, take the path on the right over the bridge, turn and fall into the mud. Boost past the ramp and tap the handbrake, go left and boost out. At the two arrow signs, go left staying in the mud. Follow the path and you'll see the end of a wooden ramp, go right at this ramp up off the mud. Use all of the sidewinder and cross the last bridge. Hit the next sidewinder going through the gap and then to the left of the ramp with the MotorStorm logo on it. Keep left till you see the small ramp, hit it landing in the mud. Go in between the rocks where you see the buggy sign, but go right of next rock. Cut left again and use the last jump at the corner, hitting it and an angle and boosting. Go between the rocks on the left and come to the fork in the road. Go right and take the turn sharply. Boost the stretch and go over the bridge. Land in the direction the turn and boost off. At the fork, go left and high showing the No Big Rig sign. Boost if you can and jump the gap. When you land drive towards the cliff face on the right and then back left again to avoid the rocks easier. Hug the cliff face and come to the big ramp. Go up it and keep to the left side of the ramp. Boost off of it and stop boosting when you're airborne. Land and boost, fall off and boost to the finish line.

About a second before, handbrake and boost. If you time it right you can cross the bridge in a slide and then boost and leave the verge and go back to the main road. From the get go head straight through the middle path. Don't boost yet and stay on the left side of the road. When you hit the bump, yaw to the right and go for the gap between the rock on the right and the ledge way. Stay close to it and go right of the rock with the ramp. Start boosting and turning keeping in the middle and between the rocks. At the turn right, go between the right-most rocks. Hit the jump at the right side and go right of the rock with the ramp. Hitting the ramp only slows you down, so avoid it. Cut back to the left and go left of the big rock. When you come to the ramp, aim to the right and leave it as right as you can almost aiming for the cliff face on the right. You'll land on an elevated path and come to another ramp with a tree jutting out. Hit this one at a left angle. But not too much. Follow the bend to the right and hit the last ramp boosting. Yaw right and use the path furthest away from you. Your bike won't be able to turn sharply and quickly enough for the ramps to you right. Hit the metal sheets at the T and keep left when going around the bend. You need to turn extra early for the next turn right as it's very slippy. Take the next left turn tight and then the left, low path. Use the ramp and take the path with the cars. Boost and hit the long part of the ramp. At the right angle and speed you can land past the turn. Head up to the final turn and boost while turning. Use the left exit with the long downward slope, leaving the cliff when it turns out to the right.

Mill through what you can, using the sidewinder if you need to. When the road splits, take the left path over the left bridge. Boost here and turn left just before you hit the sidewinder. Use the ramp to jump the gap and stay left of the mud, hugging the wall. You'll come to a ramp, use it and use the sidewinder after. Go to the end and cross the last bridge, hit the next sidewinder and go under the gap. Go left, past the first ramp and you'll see two other smaller ramps. Use the first wooden one. But hit it at a hard left angle. Basically the same way you were facing before you got to it. You may need to boost a little. You should land left of the mud path on a narrow strip. Head between the trees and then cut left, going through the left most gap. When you come out you'll see a long ramp, go wide a bit and hit the ramp. Go left and then right at the fork. Stay to the right and hit the rock ramp just before the two arrow signs. Take the right path here again and turn right at the bend. Boost uphill a bit and when the path narrows you'll want to exit to the left, hard, go through the mud and up the hill. Boost staying left, take the final right turn and boost across the line.

Start by going right, down the hill. Follow the path and aim for the long ramp when you see it. Boost through the mud and up the ramp, then use the ramp to your left and onto the middle path. Go over the next bridge and slow down a tad for the bend on the right. Don't fall off. Cross the bridge and boost along the path. Slow down a bit and go on the outside of the next turn left. Start boosting, go right of the tower and keep that line. Go in between each car pile and hit the ramp at the left side, boosting. Go right side of this tower and turn left. Take the outside and go right of the rock. Take this elevated path, cross the bridge and up the ramp, then cross the next bridge. Use the ramp to your left and when you land, pass between the two rocks. Keep this direction and you'll emerge in the mud near the long ramp. Repeat your previous path.

Head left past the first bump, boosting. Keep left and stop boosting when you have about 4 bars left. Take the first turn wide, but staying on the higher part. Boost when you've completed the first part of the turn and then aim for the left side of the next mound. Ramp off and into the ditch on the right hand side of the road. Continue along here, boosting a bit and turn left at the end. Use the little bump to throw yourself over the final low rock. At the fork turn right cutting through the small S bend. When the turn in complete, dive off the cliff and down into the mud. Dodge the rock on the right and boost up the hill while turning. At this fork, go left and up the hill. (It's the only way you'll beat the ATVs). Boost along and jump the gorge. When you land get over to the right hand side ASAP and line up to pass between the two rocks. Follow the path and you'll come to the huge ramp. Stay on the left side and use a good bit of boost (stop boosting while in the air), and smash through the sign, praying it doesn't flip you much. Land and boost like crazy to the finish.

When you turn the first bend, head towards the left exit with the ramp. Instead of using the ramp, exit just to the right of the ramp in the little gap. This will give you the best approach and you don't have to try turn in the mud. Head up the muddy hill in the middle on it's right side, hitting the bumps to slow you down a bit and give you control. Stay in the mud and take the next bend with a bit of handbrake and some boost when exiting. Dodge the two cars and get to left side of the path when you see the /< /< /< signs. Theres a path to the left of the mud which you should take. Go up here and prepare for a sharp left. You'll see two small /< signs which you should follow. When you pass you'll meet a ramp, pass it on the left stick by the cliff. The path will bend to the right for a while, but when it straightens out, leave it and aim for the right side of the mud. Stay on this rocky surface bending to the right and you'll come to a wide ramp. Don't use it, instead head just left of it and then the road will narrow a little. Head straight and before the next bend, start sliding on your bike to the right. You'll change terrain, your bike will grip and you can boost off. Go under the tire, head right of the Y sign, turn left a little and boost directly to the next tires. Save a bit of boost before the final turn, take it tight and about 3/4's the way through the turn, boost to the finish, taking the same exit as the start. And good luck! :)

Start off by staying to the right of the other cars and boosting by as many as you can. At the flags, take the bridge on the right with the No Bikes sign. Turn and drop to the mud, boosting past the ramp on your left. Tap the handbrake and turn left, boosting when you're angled properly. At the < > sign go left, staying in the mud. Follow this path and you'll eventually come to a ramp above you. At this point turn right and exit the mud. Use the sidewinder to gain speed and cross the small metal bridge at the end. Use the next sidewinder to go behind the rock. Turn left, going past the large ramp and you will come to a small wooden ramp. Hit this aiming for the mud in the middle. On landing boost through this road and you will come to another fork. Go left at the Y sign following the mud again. Boost as much as possible as you stay in mud and pass through the pipe. Soon after, cut left off the mud and boost up the hill. Stay left, avoiding the rocks. Take the last bend tightly and use what boost you have left to finish.

You should have no problem driving straight into first position before you even hit the first ramp. When you land, keep in the middle and handbrake around the first tight corner. Reduce speed slightly and keep left, avoid dropping off at all costs. Hit the straight and boost a bit. Break and hug the cliff to the left and go for the ramp on the left. Boost and jump the ramp so you just miss the cliff on the left. You should land just after the other path. Don't boost at the next jump as you'll overshoot. Take the left turn and hit the slope low. Keep in the middle after the slope to avoid falling off, then go over the next ramp aiming a little to the left. When you land you should be able to hit the handbrake and swing around the bend. Boost out of if and jump off the 2 drops, turning to agree with the road. Hit the ramps and stay near the middle. It's bumpy along the left side and you'll go off course easily. Don't take the shortcut under the chopper, instead go left of it. Watch your speed on this corner, too fast and you'll fly off the cliff or into a sign.

It doesn't really matter which way you go from the start. Both are the same time-wise. We'll take the right here since it's slightly safer for the buggy. So go right, drop down and head towards the mud and the long ramp. Go up the ramp and then use the ramp to the left. Head down the path and over the bridge. Slow down a little on the corner and then use the bridge on the left. Head around left bend and then take the corner wide, not using the gap. Go left of the first rock and right of the tower. Veer left and pass the ramp on it's right side. Pass through the gaps in the two car sets. Use the left most part of the ramp and land to the left of the rocks. Keep on the left side and look for the barrels up ahead. The best way is to pass through the second and third barrels. Keep in the middle and watch for small rocks. Hit through the next barrels in the middle. Keep in the middle and watch for the rocks again. When you're clear you'll see the ramps and bridges. Go straight, in between the ramp to the left and the bridge on the right. Leap off the cliff over the tree. Keep perfectly straight and boost. You'll see the MotorStorm banner, so take the left path. Bend left and as soon as you can leave the cliff and you'll land in the mud facing the long ramp. Go again.

Keep to the middle and boost on the straight as much as you can. Turn and slide a bit early, before the turn and swing right, then boost. Go to the right of the Y sign, turn slightly left and go straight to the big tire. Boost if you can until the turn. Take it as tight as you can. Boost to the middle again. Lap complete.

Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Keep close to the rocks on the right at the first bend. When you come to the banners, use the bridge on the left and follow that path, boosting until you come to the sidewinder. If you turn just at the end of the small bridge you don't have to use the sidewinder. In the background you'll see two yellow signs so aim for the right arrow (>). You'll come down a slope. Go right at the signs and you'll turn a small bend. There will be a small drop, which you need to aim your bike to the left to land safely. Hug the cliff to your right and when the road splits, head right. Use the sidewinder, then the last bridge, then the next sidewinder going behind the rock pillar. Come out to face the big ramp. You need to hit it the way it's facing to land on the other side properly. The road will spilt again, so stay to the right and go under the tunnel. You need to stay at the left side of the tunnel and when you emerge at the S bend sign go left of the rock with the spectators standing on it. Then, cut back to the right and go between the taller rocks. You'll come to another fork, go right where you see the sign >>>>. Next another fork with the sign < >. Go right and stay right and you'll come to a rock ramp. Jump it aiming to the right and use the path to the right. Turn right at the corner here and boost up the hill. Leave the path your on before you reach the bridge, turning left. Go up the hill on it's left side and when you pass the large rock go right of the thin rock with the people on it. Cut the corner as much as you can and cross the finish line.

Veer left at the start, and go left of the first rock pile, then under the hanging tree branch, head straight, left of the dead tree. Take the bend on the left side, as close to the left most rock as you can. Boost after the first part of the turn and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to land in the ditch on the right hand side. Stay right and boost along the straight, then turn left at the end, right of all the rocks. And the end of the turn there is a little bump, hit it and you'll glide over the final rock. At the fork in the road, choose right, trying to stay in the middle of the S bend. Stay high and to the left, boost along to the raised bridge. Land aiming right a little and boost along beside the cliff. At the fork take the high path on the left. Jump the gap between the tires and when you land, get on the right side of the path. Navigate between the two rocks and stay close to the wall on your right. You'll come to the big ramp, so get on an stay on it's left side for a good take off. In the air weight shift your truck's nose in the air a little for a good landing. Boost as much as you can towards the finish line.

Ignore the tip at the start, we're going to avoid the mud. Start off by taking the exit in the middle. Pass through the mud and up the hill. Use the right side of the hill, on it's lip. Stay in the mud and turn the corner, cutting it slightly and boosting on exit. Dodge the cars and head to the left side of the mud. Use the path which elevates on the left, out of the mud. Turn the bend and pass left of the signs. Go by the ramp on your right and stay in the middle as best you can. Follow it around the bend and the path will spilt. Stay to the right, on the higher ground. You'll come to a sort of ramp (it's just rock) at which point you should ramp off to the right into the mud. Aim to land between the white car shell and the rock. Boost on landing to the right hand turn. Do a power slide on the mud, and boost on connection of the new surface. Don't cut the corner though as there is a car waiting there. Head under the tire and go right at the Y sign. Turn left a bit and boost through the tires. Let the boost cool down and take the last turn tightly, boosting with what you have left to finish.

Use the gap in the rocks on the first mound, go left of the second mound with the dead tree. Stay a little to the left and at the bend use the top of the mound on the right and jump at a slight angle to the right. After the bend use the left most part of the mound to jump over the ditch and then head between the rocks with the buggy sign. Go right of the next rock, veer to the left and use the gap in the rocks on the left. Yaw left in the air and hit the next gap in the middle. At the fork in the rock go right of the TV cutting both corners in the S bend. Keep up top and close to the cliff face. Boost to the raised bridge, not cutting the corner. When you jump the gap, yaw right and boost off to the next spilt in the road. Go high and left, boosting up the hill. Jump the gap and navigate the rock chicane. Stay on this high path, following the bend till you come to the ramp. Get on it and boost a little. Exit on the left side, land and boost following the arrow signs to finish.

Take the middle exit and boost when you can. Keep in the middle and go between the first two rocks, then left of the low rock with the ramp on it. Take the left bend with some boost in moderation to keep a good line. Stay centered and go right of the rock in the middle of the road. Use the right part of the ramps flying past the first rock to it's right. Cut over to the left, and pass all the rocks on their left side. Use the left most part of the metal sheets and aim left. Take the elevated path up on the left. Stay as right as you can on this path, passing the rock pillars on the right. There is a metal slope going down by the big arrow sign, so use that and land left of the other ramp ahead of you. Turn the bend and boost to the metal sheets. Hit the sheet that's to the right of the T. Keep near the center around the left bend, then cut the corner on the right bend. Left again, then stay left, ignoring the elevated path. Hit the ramps aiming left a bit. Stay left of the cars and the big rock then use the shorter parts of the ramp. Boost by the flags and turn the last bend close to the junk. Finish the lap through the middle exit again.

It's ATV time sonny.
Start off by going over the bridge on the left. Keep left and on the high path until you come to a ramp. Instead of using the ramp, leave the cliff just to the right of it. Land on the ground below, boost off and drop again into the mud. Navigate around the mud, using boost to help you turn. Come to the wide ramp and exit it on the left corner, heading for the gap in the cliff. Pass through, go left of the rock and tower. Keep this line in the middle, passing right of the ramp and through the car pile gaps. Exit the ramp at a left angle. Keep left here and burst through the barrels as best you can. Go to the next barrels and use the gap in the middle of them. Come out and the ramp and dive off the cliff just right of the ramp. Drive through the mud and when the road forks, go left. Keep as left as you can and pass through the narrow gaps in the rocks. Fall off and you'll land back in the mud in which you started this route. Repeat!

Keep close the the rocks on the right at the first bend. When you come to the banners, use the bridge on the left and follow that path, boosting until you come to the sidewinder. If you turn just at the end of the small bridge you don't have to use the sidewinder. In the background you'll see two yellow signs so aim for the right arrow (>). You'll come down a slope. Go right at the signs and you'll turn a small bend. There will be a small drop, which you need to aim your bike to the left to land safely. Hug the cliff to your right and when the road splits, head right. Use the sidewinder, then the last bridge, then the next sidewinder going behind the rock pillar. Come out to face the big ramp. You need to hit it the way it's facing to land on the other side properly. The road will spilt again, so stay to the right and go under the tunnel. You need to stay at the left side of the tunnel and when you emerge at the S bend sign go left of the rock with the spectators standing on it. Then, cut back to the right and go between the taller rocks. You'll come to another fork, go right where you see the sign >>>>. Next another fork with the sign < >. Go right and stay right and you'll come to a rock ramp. Jump it aiming to the right and use the path to the right. Turn right at the corner here and boost up the hill. Leave the path your on before you reach the bridge, turning left. Go up the hill on it's left side and when you pass the large rock go right of the thin rock with the people on it. Cut the corner as much as you can and cross the finish line.

Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. Turn tightly and hit the ramp at the T. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Boost through the turns here and take the low path. Hit the ramp and go through the middle of the cars. Go left of the last rock here and use the left part of the ramp. The long bit will crash your ATV. Take the last two turns and head for left the left exit, with the long ramp. (Lap complete). Head down the ramp and dive off the cliff when it starts to jut out to the right.

Go right of the Y sign, and boost as soon as you can to avoid your opponents. Go into the mud which is left of the ramp, going by the right side of the rock. Stay to the right and smash the wood, boosting. Stay in the mud and close to the wall on the right. Don't take the turn on the left too fast, but when you clear it enough, boost up the hill, still turning left. Take the sharp turn left when you see the hand signs, you may wish to slow down slightly or handbrake turn. Take the next right hand turn tightly and boost uphill. Go wide and turn hard into the mud and boost to finish.

Go straight from the start and through the Bike signs. Angle to the right and head towards the wooden bridge. Boost and head to the jump, hitting it as straight as you can. Jump the next ramp straight, but ever so slightly to the right. When you land, keep to the right side of the road as much as you can. On the left side there is a ditch that can crash your Buggy, so avoid it. Cross the bridge and keep right. Fall down onto the curving bridge, adjusting your Buggy in the air. Boost straight off and go left of the tires. Go through the arrow signs and over the next ramp as straight as you can. Drop down and pick the ramp on the left. Boost around the sidewinder cross the finish line. Repeat the above.

Mill through what you can, using the sidewinder if you need to. When the road splits, take the left path over the left bridge. Boost here and turn left just before you hit the sidewinder. Use the ramp to jump the gap and stay left of the mud, hugging the wall. You'll come to a ramp, use it and use the sidewinder after. Go to the end and cross the last bridge, hit the next sidewinder and go under the gap. Go left, past the first ramp and you'll see two other smaller ramps. Use the first wooden one. But hit it at a hard left angle. Basically the same way you were facing before you got to it. You may need to boost a little. You should land left of the mud path on a narrow strip. Head between the trees and then cut left, going through the left most gap. When you come out you'll see a long ramp, go wide a bit and hit the ramp. Go left and then right at the fork. Stay to the right and hit the rock ramp just before the two arrow signs. Take the right path here again and turn right at the bend. Boost uphill a bit and when the path narrows you'll want to exit to the left, hard, go through the mud and up the hill. Go past the big rock and cut right before the rock with the people standing on it. Cut the corner and finish.

Immediately veer right and go right of the Y sign. Cross the bridge and boost when it's available. Hit the little bump and yaw right slightly to land on the bridge correctly. Boost forward and hit the ramp straight on, if a little to the right. Boost forward again and hit the next ramp a little to the right. When you land steer onto the right hand side of the road to avoid the sharp dip. Cross the bridge and drop down the drop. Aim to drop on the curved bridge in the middle and when you land tap the handbrake to put you in a slide. Boost around the whole thing and leap off towards the tires. Go left of them and head forward, jumping the next gap in the middle. Get to the wooden ramp, hitting it in the center. Stay a little to the left and do the next drop. Come to the two wooden ramps and go inbetween them boosting. Use the sidewinder near the top of it (over the glass). Cross the finish line on the left side of the Y sign, hit the jump and cut right to cross the bridge again.

Boost past the Big Rigs, and go left of the first rock pile, then under the hanging tree branch, head straight, left of the dead tree. Take the bend on the left side, as close to the left most rock as you can. Boost after the first part of the turn and hit the left side of the mound with the tree and rock. Aim to the left side and pass by the Buggy sign, go right of the next rock and cut back to the left again. Boost over the bump angled left and through the next gap in the rocks. Go right at the fork by the TV screen, navigate the S bend When that path narrows just after the bend, jump off the edge onto the mud. Keep right and pass the rock, then head up the hill cutting the corner. Boost to the MotorStorm banner and choose the path going to the left. Get some speed and jump the gap, smashing the tires on the right. Land close to the rock on the right side and stay there cutting left through the two rocks. Go around the bend taking care not to fall off. When you see the ramp, get on and keep to the left side of it. Boost up and leave it straight. Land and boost around the last turn right to finish.

Go through the big opening on the right and drop down, staying in the middle. On the first bend, stay in the middle and go past the rocks through the middle. Go left, past the next rock(with metal ramp). Take the next long bend as tight as you can, then go in between the 3 big rocks, then the 2 smaller rocks on the right hand side of the road. Take the right and hit the right and side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. Leave the ramp in the middle (wooden planks) and land between the rocks in the middle of the road. Follow the road until you come to the Y sign, go left and keep left heading around the big bend. Boost off and jump the metal sheets. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Turn early to the right and again to the left. Stay in the mud, taking the left path, jump off and go past the car piles on either side. Boost straight, and go up the longest part of the ramp. Cut the corner on the left and head up to the final turn. Turn and boost at the same time heading for the opening on the right, keep to the middle when crossing the finish line.

Try not to land on anyone at the first jump, and wait until the ramp is clear before boosting. Take the turn left fast and boost the straight drops. After the bend, choose the low route on the right. Hit the ramp without boost and use it going up the hills. Take the left turn and boost when you've completed it. Go low on the first slope and the second if you wish. The buggy can handle it. Ramp, handbrake turn the sharp left corner, boost, then drop down as fast as you can and as close to the rock face as possible. Hit the second ramp boosting and try get as much air as you can. Land in the middle of the road and head to the helicopter. Use the shortcut under it and swing around to the left of the rock ramp. Finish and go again.

Go under the TV screen and through the signs. Head right and down onto the low wooden bridge. Cross over and boost to the next ramp. Hit it head on and the same with the next ramp. Fly down the hill, over the bridge and keep to the middle. Through the signs, down the drop and onto the curving bridge. Jump and go left of the tire pile. Boost as you want and hit the next wooden ramp in the middle. Keep centered and aim slightly right when leaving the rock drop. Use ramp on the left next and driver to the sidewinder. Use the top, flat part. You can boost around this if you control it right. Head under the TV, don't go low and right. Lap done, repeat.

Pick the Racing Truck this time around.
Go right, down the slow and boost around the others when you can until you reach the mud. Go up the long ramp, leaving it and it's left corner. Stay wide a little and cross the bridge which is located past the ramp. Head to the next bridge and turn the bend here. You may need to tap the handbrake ground around the second part of the turn. Cross the next bridge and follow the road and you will come to where the paths meet. Go wide, around the gap in the cliff, then right of the rock, left of the tower. Stay straight and pass the ramp on it's right side. Gap through the car pile, right of the rock, gap through the next car pile. Boost of the ramp, angled left. Stay left and look for the barrels. Go wide slightly, tap the handbrake so you face in the direction of path and hit the barrels. Go on to the next set of barrels and smash through them. Go straight and leave the cliff, passing between the ramp and bridge. Land and boost forward to the MotorStorm banner. Take the left road and go around the bend. As soon as you complete the bend go right of the tall rock and dive into the mud in the direction of the long ramp. Go up the ramp again and repeat.

Go straight, and hit the first ramp. Aim to take the first turn where the road stops sloping down on the left side. Keep left and don't go too fast as there is a big drop off to the right. Keep straight and if you want, hit the rally cars off course. After the small left turn you'll see 2 ramps. Take the one on right and turn while in the air to land in line with the path upwards. Boost up and hit the jump. Stay in the middle here and when you complete the turn, start boosting. You can go low on the first bank here, then keep slightly left after it. Hope the ramp, and you'll come to a very sharp turn. handbrake, then start turning, then boost when facing the right way. Drop the first drop and on the second, yaw to the right and boost when you land and up the 2 ramps. You can keep left here and you should clear the gaps no problem. There is a small shortcut under the air crane chopper. Dodge the rock ramp and break turn around to the finish line. Rinse and repeat.

Keep right when you land as the path will narrow. Slow down slightly before the bridge and try to take it at a diagonal from right to left. As soon as you cross the bridge, leave the path you're on to the lower portion. Tap the handbrake just before the sharp left, then take the next right as tight as you can. Boost uphill a bit and stay wide for the last turn. Don't cut this corner as there are rocks on the left side. Use the rest of your boost and cross the finish line.

Take the Mud Plugger this time.
Head left, over the bridge. Stay left on the high ground and use the ramp you meet. Go down the slope and jump off when it juts in to the left and before the tree. Land in the mud and boost off and follow the mud up to the wide ramp. Exit the ramp at the left corner and pass under the gap in the rock. Stay left of the tower and head straight. Go right of the ramp and then pass through the two car piles. Hit the ramp heading left and find the shortcut up ahead. Go through the barrels and then through the next barrels. When you come out go straight and dive off the cliff to the lower section of mud. Come to the fork, take the left path. Stay left and pass all the rocks on the left side. You'll emerge at the drop to the mud. Drop down and repeat the previous.

When you turn the first bend, head towards the left exit with the ramp. Instead of using the ramp, exit just to the right of the ramp in the little gap. This will give you the best approach and you don't have to try turn in the mud. Head up the muddy hill in the middle on it's right side, hitting the bumps to slow you down a bit and give you control. Stay in the mud and take the next bend with a bit of handbrake and some boost when exiting. Dodge the two cars and get to left side of the path when you see the /< /< /< signs. Theres a path to the left of the mud which you should take. Go up here and prepare for a sharp left. You'll see two small /< signs which you should follow. When you pass you'll meet a ramp, pass it on the left stick by the cliff. The path will bend to the right for a while, but when it straightens out, leave it and aim for the right side of the mud. Stay on this rocky surface bending to the right and you'll come to a wide ramp. Don't use it, instead head just left of it and then the road will narrow a little. Head straight and before the next bend, start sliding on your bike to the right. You'll change terrain, your bike will grip and you can boost off. Go under the tire, head right of the Y sign, turn left a little and boost directly to the next tires. Save a bit of boost before the final turn, take it tight and about 3/4's the way through the turn, boost to the finish, taking the same exit as the start. And good luck! :)

Go right of the Y sign, and boost as soon as you can to avoid your opponents. Go into the mud which is left of the ramp, going by the right side of the rock. Stay to the right and smash the wood, boosting. Stay in the mud and close to the wall on the right. Don't take the turn on the left too fast, but when you clear it enough, boost up the hill, still turning left. Take the sharp turn left when you see the hand signs, you may wish to slow down slightly or handbrake turn. Take the next right hand turn tightly and boost uphill. Go wide and turn hard into the mud and boost to finish.

Mill through what you can, using the sidewinder if you need to. When the road splits, take the left path over the left bridge. Boost here and turn left just before you hit the sidewinder. Use the ramp to jump the gap and stay left of the mud, hugging the wall. You'll come to a ramp, use it and use the sidewinder after. Go to the end and cross the last bridge, hit the next sidewinder and go under the gap. Go left, past the first ramp and you'll see two other smaller ramps. Use the first wooden one. But hit it at a hard left angle. Basically the same way you were facing before you got to it. You may need to boost a little. You should land left of the mud path on a narrow strip. Head between the trees and then cut left, going through the left most gap. When you come out you'll see a long ramp, go wide a bit and hit the ramp. Go left and then right at the fork. Stay to the right and hit the rock ramp just before the two arrow signs. Take the right path here again and turn right at the bend. Boost uphill a bit and when the path narrows you'll want to exit to the left, hard, go through the mud and up the hill. Go past the big rock and cut right before the rock with the people standing on it. Cut the corner and finish.

Use the gap in the rocks on the first mound, go left of the second mound with the dead tree. Stay a little to the left and at the bend use the top of the mound on the right and jump at a slight angle to the right. After the bend use the left most part of the mound to jump over the ditch and then head between the rocks with the buggy sign. Go right of the next rock, veer to the left and use the gap in the rocks on the left. Yaw left in the air and hit the next gap in the middle. At the fork in the rock go right of the TV cutting both corners in the S bend. Keep up top and close to the cliff face. Boost to the raised bridge, not cutting the corner. When you jump the gap, yaw right and boost off to the next spilt in the road. Go high and left, boosting up the hill. Jump the gap and navigate the rock chicane. Stay on this high path, following the bend till you come to the ramp. Get on it and boost a little. Exit on the left side, land and boost following the arrow signs to finish.

Turn and boost in front when you can. Pick the middle drop off and land in the mud. Go slightly left to give a better angle at the hill. Boost up and begin turning right, staying in the mud. Dodge the car shells and go as fast as you want around the left hand turn. Hit the jump and go right of the rock in the middle of the road, right of the second rock. Keep to the middle and boost on the straight as much as you can. Turn and slide a bit early, before the turn and swing right, then boost. Go to the right of the Y sign, turn slightly left and go straight to the big tire. Boost if you can until the turn. Take it as tight as you can. Boost to the middle again. Lap complete.

Head straight at the start and through the middle. Boost when you can and pass through the two big rocks in the center. Swing past the rock with the ramp on it's left side. Take the left turn while boosting if you wish, but don't go too far left. Staying in the middle, pass the 3 rocks and right of the last rock. Hit the right hand side of the ramp so you will land to the right of the rock with the wood propped on it. Go to the left and side and pass the rocks on the left. When you come to the metal sheets, ramp off on the left most sheet, angle to the left. Take the path going up on the left. Pass the first rock pile and you'll come to a pile in the middle of the path. Go right of it, but be careful of the small rock to the right of it. It's hard to see. Go to the right of the next two rocks and you will come to a metal slope. Drive down and dive off the end, aiming for the mud to the left. Turn tightly and hit the ramp at the T. Keep to the middle and go through the rocks. Boost through the turns here and take the low path. Hit the ramp and go through the middle of the cars. Go left of the last rock here and use the left part of the ramp. The long bit will crash your ATV. Take the last two turns and head for left the left exit, with the long ramp. (Lap complete). Head down the ramp and dive off the cliff when it starts to jut out to the right.

Rally Car is all that's left. Might as well end it with speed.
Go right, down the slow and boost around the others when you can until you reach the mud. Go up the long ramp, leaving it and it's left corner. Stay wide a little and cross the bridge which is located past the ramp. Head to the next bridge and turn the bend here. You may need to tap the handbrake ground around the second part of the turn. Cross the next bridge and follow the road and you will come to where the paths meet. Go wide, around the gap in the cliff, then right of the rock, left of the tower. Stay straight and pass the ramp on it's right side. Gap through the car pile, right of the rock, gap through the next car pile. Boost of the ramp, angled left. Stay left and look for the barrels. Go wide slightly, tap the handbrake so you face in the direction of path and hit the barrels. Go on to the next set of barrels and smash through them. Go straight and leave the cliff, passing between the ramp and bridge. Land and boost forward to the MotorStorm banner. Take the left road and go around the bend. As soon as you complete the bend go right of the tall rock and dive into the mud in the direction of the long ramp. Go up the ramp again and repeat.
Congratulations, you've beaten MotorStorm. Hopefully without using the boost trick. Give your self a cookie, because you get no rewards from MotorStorm. Damn hippies. Time to play online?

Getting Started [O001]

To play MotorStorm online, you will need to have a PSN (PlayStation Network) account. You do this from the Network section on the cross media bar of your PS3. When you hit the Online button in MotorStorm, you will be prompted to log in if you're not already. Once you're logged in you'll need to select the server or "universe" closest to you.
From here you can check your buddies list, which is linked to your PSN buddies list. Play will bring you to the Lobby List. Go ahead and pick any lobby you want. They're broken up into different languages and regions. Inside a lobby you have the choice of creating or joining a game and viewing the players of that lobby.

++Creating A Game++
Very simple to do. Firstly, the game name will be the same as your user name, but you can change this if you wish. Select "Game Name" and type what you want. Next, choose your venue with "Track Selection". Certain venues will only allow certain vehicles, which you can see in "Vehicle Selection" - Pick what you want to allow others to choose. "Number of laps" is just that. How many times you want to drive around the track. "Ambience" is the time of day you will be driving in. Remember that most people don't like the darker settings. "Catch up" can be turned on or off. This means the player in 1st place will have a shorter boost time, while the player in last will have the longest boost time. Finally, "Friends only" will make the game public or private. Private means only people on your buddy list can join your game.
++Joining A Game++
You can see here the Game Name, the number of players and which track is being driven on. When you select a game it will give you more information about the game before you actually join. The Game Status here shows if the race is in progress or not.
Once you join, it will show you who is racing, their status in the race and their fame. If the race is already in progress you will need to wait until everyone finishes the race, then the host will re-configure the game and you will race the next race.

It may take some time for the sever to update your rank. So if you play and win some races and it still shows you as Zero, wait a while.

Tips [R001]

-Light Vehicles should travel on the high routes.
-Heavy Vehicles should avoid ramps and travel on low ground.
-When on a Bike or ATV, use the action button swipe at other Bikes and ATVs.
-The Big Rig takes the shortest route, while the Rally Car takes the longest.
-The lighter the vehicle, the easier it is to control in the air.
-When mud splashes in your view, double tap "Change View" to get rid of it.
-You can make crash sequences shorter by hitting x or R2 after a few seconds.
-Put the hand-break to good use, it can win you races.
-There is a catch-up logic in the game. You can never truly "Get away"
-You can time your "over-boost" to explode over the finish line, saving time.
-Don't use boost while in the air. It does nothing.
-Use the select button to reset your car when stuck or facing the wrong way.
-Force vehicles onto routes which they don't like, it will slow them down.

Big Heads - Pause the game, then hold L1+L2+R1+R2+R3(whilst pushed right)+L3 (whilst pushed left) Works on ATVs and Bikes only.
Unlock Everything - At main menu hold L1+L2+R1+R2+R3(whilst pushed up)+L3 (whilst pushed down)
"Infinite boost" - Keep tapping the boost button while driving. You should hear the engine rev high and your boost meter will not go up or down. Note: This is actually a design exploit, and will be fixed in the next update.

There have been reports of save data corruption when not exiting the game properly. Always exit using the menu.
On very rare occasions, bad clipping detection can occur.
Sometimes, if you restart the race when your vehicle is damaged. It will still be damaged when you start again.
