In this walkthrough, i will show you key techniques which you can use to demolish your opponents. At the end of the walkthrough, i will show you the secrets that you can "unlock" during the game. ************** |KEY TECHNIQUES| ************** ====== |"Trap"| ====== __ |__| - Box '.' - Opponent _ / \ \_/ - Bomb _ / \ __ \_/ __ |__| |__| |__| |__| |__| |__| |__|'.'|__| |__|___|__| |___| This technique is great for getting rid of an opponent early beacause of the amount of boxes laying around. If you see one of your opponents wander into a dead end, lay a bomb where the exit it. This really needs to be done early on in the battle because if you let time pass, and your opponent gets a Bomb Kick or a Punch Power-Up, they can move the bomb out of the way and escape. ===== |"Box"| ===== __ |__| - Box '.' - Opponent _ / \ \_/ - Bomb _ _ _ / \ / \ / \ \_/ __ \_/ __ \_/ |__| |__| _ / \ __ __ \_/ |__| |__| _ / \ '.' \_/ __ __ __ __ |__||__||__||__| If one of your opponents is in a corner and you have collected quite a few Speed Up tokens, lay a series of bombs in the same way as the diagram shows and your opponent will have nowhere to turn. ************************ |BATTLE MODE - FIGHT CLUB| ************************ =============== |Standard Battle| =============== Try to collect as many power ups as possible, meaning that it is even harder for your opponents to get any where near killing you. Try to use the arena that you are fighting in to your advantage, by kicking and punching bombs around. Also, try to use the techniques i have shown you. ============== |Reversi Battle| ============== How i hate this type of battle. The most important thing in this type of battle is to stay alive, which is very hard, and if you do eventually die half of your tiles will turn nuetral again. Early on in the game, try to collect as many Bomb up power-ups as you can. When most of the blocks have disapeared, start turning over your opponents tiles. Have fun! =========== |Coin Battle| =========== Like in the Reversi Battle, the most important thing is to stay alive because if you do die, you lose a lot of your coins. Early on, try to grab as many coins as you can and the rest of the time, try to avoid your opponents and grab any stray coins that you come across. ============ |Dodge Battle| ============ In this battle, your character will have the Kick and Punch power-ups beginning to end, so make use of them. You should just try and dodge most of the time, but if a bomb lands infront of you, just give it a kick and carry on. other than this, there are only a few other things you can dol. Keep a watch out for the killed enemies who may try and take revenge, and try and collect as many power-ups as possible that your opponents have dropped, meaning that they won't be able to get back up to full power. ============== |Revenge Battle| ============== This battle is going to be VERY HARD! Try to have a balance between killing moles and bouncing bombs of them in a chain. One of the most important things to watch out for is an orange mole, if you see it, try to kill it before your opponents because they are worth a lot of points. Remember, you can only kill moles if they have been stunned first, otherwise the mole will notice and hide again. But two other important things to watch out for are the Pierce Bomb, which can kill a large amount of moles in one hit. The second thing to watch out for is the pictures of the characters that appear around the arena. If you hit one of the pictures and it corresponds to one of your opponents, they will be stuck to the spot momenterilly, meaning for an easy kill. ************************** |BATTLE MODE - THE COLISEUM| ************************** ======== |Standard| ======== Just your standard battle arena. There's nothing special to watch out for here so just concentrate on killing your opponents. If you want, look back to the standard battle tips that i have written before. ========== |Dry Convey| ========== The shifting sand will change direction when soemone steps on the button that is in the middle of the arena. An easy way to get kills is to use the button yourself. Just as an opponent places a bomb on one of the sand tracks, hit the button to give them a little suprise. You can also use the sand tracks by throwing bombs down them and giving your opponents an unsuspecting present. =========== |Turn & Bang| =========== The most important thing in this battle is the Bomb Kick power-up. Moving bombs will turn whenever they hit an arrow, so use both the inner and outter tracks for the best effect. =========== |Green Field| =========== You can attack your opponents from the very start in this battle, and remember that blowing up the grass leaves behind power-ups. Pick up as many power-ups as possible, and when you think you're strong enough, go for your opponents. ========== |Pipe Bangs| ========== You can place bombs inside the pipes as well as hide inside them for protection. just go all out for your opponents, but try not to follow them through a pipe, you don't know what they could leave behind them. ========= |Cold Warp| ========= Try not to use the pannels at all, but if you need to be careful when using the green warp pannels. If someone has planted a bomb next to the one at the other end, when you have been warped, the bomb will explode instantly. =========== |Super Blast| =========== This is going to be hard, but very fun. From the start of the battle, everyone is almost fully equipped with power-ups. Go after your opponents from the very start, maybe using the Line Bomb to start off with. But remember, everyone has the same power-ups as you, so it's vital to kill them as early as possible. Try to get the Speed up power-ups, because these are the only ones you don't have already. ========= |Dunk Bang| ========= Throwing bombs into the baskets makes a bouncing bomb appear out of one of the coloured holes. But remember, your opponents can use this trick as well, but having said this, this is the best way to kill your opponents. ******* |SECRETS| ******* Congratulations, you've just completed Bomberman Generation's Battle Mode. There are many secrest in the game, and here is how to unlock them all. ================ |Golden Bomberman| ================ To play as the Golden Bomberman in Battle Mode, all you need to do is win a match and then play it a second time without changing any of the option settings. ========== |Mini-Games| ========== After collecting all the Charaborns, the option to play all of the mini-games appears on the title screen. =========== |Play As Max| =========== Find all of the Lighting Cards in Normal mode, then press the Z button on the player select screen in Battle Mode. ========= |Group A&B| ========= Complete Normal Mode to unlock an option called Group A&B at the stage select screen in Battle Mode.
