Mario Kart Double Dash Walkthrough for Gamecube Game Name: Mario Kart Double Dash Format: Gamecube Submitted By: Krykos™ How to come 1st in every race Mushroom Cup Track 1 - Luigi Circuit Watch out for the chain chomp (that big black ball on a chain) as he'll eat you if you get too close. There are 2 shortcuts to look out for. 1 is on the right on the 1st straight but you could get munched easily here. The other 1 is on the 2nd straight after the hill but this is difficult to spot. On 50cc the track is split in half so it's easy. On 100-150cc there is barrier. Watch out for other riders. Track 2 - Peach Beach Welcome to Isle Delfino! I don't remember this being in Super Mario Sunshine but I'll carry on anyway. watch out for the tide, and the duck things. 2 shortcuts, 1 is left of the beach + you need a boost to use it. The 2nd is left of the 1st straight, go into the pipe. This wastes time though. Track 3 - Baby Park This track is mental. Watch out for weapons flying about. PRACTISE power sliding, it's essential in harder difficulties. Track 4 - Dry Dry Desert Hey don't this look like Kalimari Desert on the N64? Oh well. Watch out for pokey plants, the tornado, and quicksand. 1 shortcut, in the bit after the first corner, use a boost through the rough. Try not to make a mistake on 150cc! Flower Cup Track 1 - Mushroom Bridge Mario, Mario, Mario of Mushroom, watch out for that car (sing to the tune of George of the Jungle).AAAAAAAAAAGGHHH! You'll be crying every time you hit a car. 3 shortcuts, 1st - after 1st tunnel, road on left, use boost on it. 2nd - After finish line, staircase on left, drive down into green pipe. 3rd - on the side of the bridge are boosts, just don't fall off. Track 2 - Mario Circuit Here comes my vast knowledge of Mario. <silence for 10 minutes> Oh it's come back now. Watch out for Goombas, Pirahna plants and chain chomp. Power slide all hairpins. 1 shortcut, on straight with goombas, boost through grass. Track 3 - Daisy's Cruiser Imagine being travel sick on this course - you're driving a car on a boat, how unluckly. The item boxes, and tables move across the floor, so try to weave in and out of them. Even though it's tempting DON'T GO IN THE SWIMMING POOL! Watch out for the rubber dinghies as they'll whack you in the face. 1 shortcut, fall down hole in floor, and drive towards a vent. Track 4 - Waluigi Stadium <cough> RIPOFF! This is basically Wario Stadium on the N64. Look out for water, hotheads (the fire) and pirahna plants. 1 known shortcut, boost through muck after sharp hairpin. Star Cup Track 1 - Sherbet Land mmmmm........sherbet. Watch out 4 the shy guys who are ice-skating, freezies (ice things) and ice water. Try not to be frozen by the freezies on 150cc, or you're dead meat, sonny. Track 2 - Mushroom City More freaking cars!?! I had enough of that on Mushroom Bridge! Dodge out of the cars' ways, and the hole in the floor. 2 shortcuts, After 1st junction, go straight and turn left onto pink road. Hole in road, thin track on right side, use a boost. Don't fall off. Track 3 - Yoshi Circuit Everyone's favourite track (you know it is, or I'll come to your house and shove a pneumatic drill up your...). You get the point. 2 shortcuts - after 1st hairpic drive into grass and boost over water. After tunnel, gap in fence, aim correctly for a grass ramp and boost. Hopefully, you'll land in a tunnel. You'll miss the next hairpin. Do 1 st shortcut on harder difficulties. Track 4 - DK Mountain AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Let's do that again. The DK cannon is the best thing ever in the game. Watch out for boulders, gaps in the floor, and the rickety bridge. On 150cc, don't fall down the fricken holes. Special Cup Track 1 - Wario Colosseum This track was designed by a drunken monkey. Try not to fall off the sides. Power slide round the tight corners. hahahaha. Sorry, it sounds funny. 1 shortcut, boost pad shoots you over big gap in floor. You only have 2 laps. Track 2 - Dino Dino Jungle Watch out for the dinosaur's feet, geysers (not 'ard men), and holes. 2 shortcuts, when track splits up turn right onto a bridge with boost pads. Don't fall off the sides. After tunnel, turn right towards a bridge use boost and fly over gap to other side. Don't muck up. Track 3 - Bowser's Castle The name of this track strikes fear in all Mario Kart fans hearts. Watch out for Thwomps (those things that like to sit on you), fire, gaps and Bowser's face. DEAR GOD IT'S HIDEOUS!!! 1 shortcut known to man, on straight with fireballs drive into gap in barrier, and jump onto another part of the track. Track 4 - Rainbow Road You knew it was coming, your back to win the game. No Mario Kart game is complete without this. Designed by Osama bin Laden himself. Welcome back to Rainbow Road.
