Mario Kart Double Dash Walkthrough for Gamecube Game Name: Mario Kart Double Dash Format: Gamecube Submitted By: Rhino508 Mario Kart double dash, section one -----cars---- In mario kart Each car has its own statitistics. example: Marios car statistics are: speed*** Acceleration*** Weight*** Therefore marios car has average weight speed and acceleration. But luigis cars statistics are speed**** acceleration** weight*** So luigis car will be faster than marios but will gain speed slower. Cars that you unlock may have better statistics than others or worse. section 2 ----unlocking cars---- There are many different cars to unlock, i will tell you how to unlock most if not all of them. The only way to unlock cars is in grand prix, you can unlock them in 50cc or in 100cc doing either will unlock you a new car (except the star cup in 100cc which i will explain later) But... not all new cars are better than others. Section 3 ----Characters---- All characters are split up into classes --Lightweight:-- Koopa Paratrooper Baby Mario Baby luigi Baby Bowser Baby DK --Medium weight:-- Mario Luigi Peach Daisy --Heavy weight:-- bowser Donkey Kong Wario Waluigi Each class can get their own cars eg Only lightweight can get the rattle buggy, the rest cant. Also each character has their own special weapon which i will describe later. Section 4 ----Unlocking characters---- Similar to cars, you can unlock characters. For example toad and toadess. These are both lightweight and come with their own car. But unlocking characters is harder than unlocking cars and takes a while of practice before you will be good enough to get them. Section 5 ----Weapons---- Weapons are one of the main elements in this game. Every weapon does a different thing and is unique. Weapons: Green shell: A shell that goes straight forward and doesnt home in, but bounces of objects afew times. Red shell: A shell that homes in on the nearest enemy infront of you. Blue shell: Once launched will fly straight to the person in 1st regardless of obstacles an causes a huge explosion.(dont fire this if you are in 1st) Mushroom: Gives you a small boost Triple boost: Gives you 3 short boosts Bannana: if run into that player will slow down by alot and cause him to spin around. Fake crate: if run into that player will slow down by alot and cause him to spin around.(looks like a normal crate) Lightening: Causes all players (exept the user) to spin around and become small therefor reducing speed for a short period. Star: User becomes invincible and increases speed for a short time. In a game, if you are in a different position the more of less likley you are to get a certain weapon. example: If i am in 1st the chances of me getting lightening will be extremely low but if im in 8th it is quite likley i will get it. Unfortunatly the are no weapons to unlock in this game. Section 6 ----Special weapons---- Each character has their own special weapon as follows Mario: orange fire Luigi: green fire Baby Mario&luigi: Chain chomp Peach&Daisy: Heart Shield Koopa¶trooper: Triple red+green shells Baby DK&DK: Huge Bannana Baby Bowser&Bowser:Huge Bowser shell Wario&Waluigi: Bomb-om Section 7 ----Unlocking levels---- You can unlock many different levels such as luigis mansion. You can even unlock an entire cup if you do the star cup on 100cc, The special cup which contains: Wario colloseum Dino Dino jungle Bowser castle Rainbow road Most battle games are unlocked in 150cc Section 8 ----Summary---- As you can see mario kart is a big game with many secrets to unlock, so remember, keep playing and theres no race too hard just try again.
