This is a list of the biggest and baddest monsters in Resident Evil, and a guide on how to dispatch them: Yawn; First Time: You can�t kill Yawn the first time you meet him so don�t both wasting your ammo. Just run past, grab the death mask and get out. This will be easier playing as Jill, because you�ll have Richard to help you. Crimson Head Elder: The easiest boss to get rid of. Shoot him five times with the shotgun to get shut of him. But, you need to keep moving, he�s quite fast. Lisa Trevor; First Time: After picking up the crank behind the hut, out in Raccoon forest, Lisa Trevor will rear her ugly head for the first time. You can�t kill her here, so just run. Neptune the Shark: After struggling through the water in the aqua ring, you�ll climb down into a control room. From here you need to drain the water. Hit the button on the center console to start the process. Doing this will make Neptune try to smash through the glass. You�ll have to be quick now, as if the pressure gauge reaches 100% it�s game over. To prevent the pressure going this high you need to lower the shelter over the glass. To do this, hit the button on the right-hand console to release the safety, then head across the room and pull the lever on the left-hand console to lower the shelter. But this gets stuck half-way down. Run into the corridor and examine the pipes, press valve 2. Now, go back to the control room and hit the safety switch on the right again. Then pull the lever, again, on the left. Then hit the center button to drain all the water. When you go to the bottom of the aqua ring Neptune will still be kicking. Get onto the platform, push the control box into the water, then pull the lever to give Neptune an electric shock. Plant 42: This is quite a difficult boss to put down, and will sap your health too, so ensure you take some herbs with you. Immediately climb up to the balcony. Dodge the plant�s venom attacks and flailing tentacles, and wait for its middle to open. When it does, shoot it. If your playing as Chris, use the assault shotgun, if Jill, use the grenade launcher. Keep avoiding its attacks, healing yourself along the way. After you�ve hit him with 10 shotgun rounds or 6 grenades he should be tired of life. Yawn; Second Time: When Yawn emerges get down the ladder as quickly as possible. Again, keep moving and blast him with the shotgun - for Chris it�s best to use the assault shotgun. You�ll probably get hit quite hard by Yawn and he is poisonous, so take some blue herbs. Black Tiger Tarantula: This one�s easy if your playing as Chris, as you�ll have a flame-thrower. Keep moving to dodge the spider�s venomous attacks and then toast it with some flames. If your playing as Jill use the grenade launcher. After you�ve finished the Tiger, watch-out for the other two spiders as well. Lisa Trevor; Second Time: After dodging her in the tunnels you�ll face her for the last time beneath the mansion. To make this confrontation a little easier give Barry - or Wesker, if playing as Chris - his gun back. Then, go about pushing the four stone pillars into the abyss, while dodging the hideous girl. If she gets a little to close for comfort keep her at bay with the shotgun. After you�ve finished pushing the stones in she�ll jump off the edge. Tyrant; First Time: The best way to take out this last boss is to save all the magnum ammo you find in the game for him. When you finally face him it will be much easier. Once battle commences shoot him, then retreat, then shoot him once or twice - depending on the distances between you and him - then retreat again, shoot him two more times (retreating if you have too), he�ll then go down for the time being. Tyrant; Second Time: Still with the magnum, get ready to finally take this beast out, once and for all. After setting off the signal rockets he�ll appear. Shoot him before he gets to Rebecca - or Barry, if playing as Jill - but be ready to run, as he�ll charge at you from time to time. Keeping shooting him, dodging his attacks. Eventually Brad will throw down a rocket launcher. One hit with this beauty and the Tyrant will turn into thousands of little pieces. This boss will sap your health the most out of all the bosses, so take plenty of herbs and first aid sprays. I hope this was of some help!
