I have recently completed the 4 disk game - making notes all the way! I'll help you find rare cards, give tips, tell you the SeeD test answeres and help you find great special items. Here goes... RARE CARD LOCATIONS!!! PUPU look for UFOs to pass by during any battle in the following places (you need Diablos Enc-None): 1) outside whinhill town 2) mandy beach, NE of timber 3) heath peninsula, East of trabia garden 4) Kashkabald desert After sighting all four, fly the Ragnorak to the rocky cliffs above chocobo shrine. You will encounter a UFO so defeat it. Then head to a crater where balamb garden used to be. you'll encounter a PuPu. Feed him 5 elixhirs and you'll get the card. FAT CHOCOBO Man in front of Balamb Library (queen on card quest) ANGELO Watts, on forest owl train GILGAMESH CC King MiniMOG boy running laps around balamb garden CHICOBO summon four large chocobo at all six forest's the go to chocobo shrine Quezacolt F.H. Mayor Dobe SHIVA trade "girl next door" with zone IFRIT defeat Ifrit SIREN card master on 2nd floor of Dollet pub. EDEA edea at her house SEIFER cid at edeas house OR Cid before going on mission at start SQUALL laguna at esthar CARD MODS!!! abbys worm - 1 for 1 windmill adamatoise - 3 for 1 turtle shell anacondour - 1 for 1 venom fang angelo - 1 for 100 elixiers bahmut - 1 for 100 megalixiers belhelmel - 1 for 1 saw blade bite bug - 1 for 1 M. stone peice blitz - 1 for 1 dynamo stone bomb - 1 for 1 bomb fragment cactuar - 1 for 1 cactus thorn cocatrice - 1 for 1 cocatrice pinion creeps - 1 for 1 coral fragment CARD GAME TIPS!!! save before playing a new opponent, if you loose a rare card then restart and load game. this trick is used to get tricks missed in the CC quest and queen of cards quest. defeat CC King and CC members will appear in the ragnorak. the queen is in the southern peninsula of the esthar continent. She isn't on the world map so you need to search. fight her for more cards you didnt get. to obtain rare cards look at the bottom right corner of your card stats when you win one. A list of two monsters will appear. keep carding the first until you get its card. then do it on the second. You'll have 2 new cards... To get rid of the 'one card game rule' simply go for a battle but quit. repeat this and soon you'll go for a card battle and the rule wont be turned on. GUARDIAN FORCE LOCATIONS!!! QQUEZACOLT & SHIVA desk computer at start IFRIT defeat ifrit SIREN drwa from monster after fighting biggs and wedge BROTHERS defeat sacred and minotour in 'tomb of the unknown king' DIABLOS talk to cid before timber and get the lamp. save the game, use the lamp, and defeat diablos. draw and store demi then cast it. dont draw and immediatlty cast it - store it first. he wont cast curaga and you should win. CARBUNCLE draw from statues attacking rinoa at end of disk 1 LEVIATHAN draw from Norg after destroying his pod. PANDEMONIA draw from fuijin in battle with fuigin and raijin. CERERBUS draw from cererbrus during galbadia garden invasion. He's near the entrance TONBERRY defeat odin then fight 20 tonberrys at the top of elevator or open place. then fight tonberry king. CACTUAR use ragnorok to fly to the island on the edge of the desert. you'll see a cactus teleporting around. go up to it. WATCH OUT - its 10000 needeles do 100000 damage. doom train get the soloman ring from esthar sorceress memorial at end of disk 3. you need 6 steel pipes and more. he will appear without fighting. GF BOOST TIP!!! make a gf learn boost then as it charges for an attack press select repeatedly - dont press if a cross apears. It boosts power of gf attacks.
