Mafia Walkthrough for PC Games Game Name: Mafia Format: PC Games Submitted By: Bejam PART 2 CHAPTER 14: "Happy Birthday!" You now have to kill a politician on a Steamboat (this is another cool level). Go to the destination shown on the map and to the steamboat, but if you try to enter, the guard won't let you in. Go the building with the open door behind you and head down the stairs to find a sailor's suit there. Put it on using the action button and then sing �In the Navy� (optional) With your newfound uniform, simply go pass the guard and on to the boat. When you're on the boat, you need to find the men's room where Vincenzo hid the gun to assassinate the politician. First go to the men's room at the left side of the boat to find a bucket, take it. Then you'll have to find a room with the label "Skipper has the key" written on the door (it's a hidden at the back of the boat near some stairs) then find a sailor with a white-blue lined t-shirt and talk to him. He'll give you the key and you can take the gun. After a short while, a cutscene will show the politician making his appearance. Watch out for the sailor who gave you the key, as if he sees you he�ll grab you to get the key back, causing your hidden gun to fall out and you�ll be discovered. You must head to the front-top of the boat and assassinate the politician and escape from his bodyguards. Run to the lower deck and jump on to Paulie�s funky speedboat to escape. CHAPTER 15 "You Lucky B*stard!" First of all go to the Italian Garden restaurant and see the cutscene, then escape back to Salieri's bar. And then you should head on to OakWood and stop in front of Morello's house. Wait for a second and the man guarding the car in the front of the house will stop smoking his cigarette and will enter the house, giving you the perfect opportunity to strap the dynamite below Morello's car. See the cutscene and again head back to Salieri's. Paulie now wants to try and assassinate Morello yet again, so go to the place indicated on the map. After the cutscene, you must yet again escape from the baddies and head back to Salieri's. You'll see another cutscene where Morello again escapes death. After the cutscene ends, quickly chase Morello�s car (you don�t have to shoot his car, just follow) the most important thing is that you don't lose him (turn your speed limiter off), and be careful of the inevitable police interest. It�s quite difficult to keep up with him, but if you do you�ll end up at the harbour. *The harbour* This is quite a tough section as the place is crawling with evil baddies. After the cutscene quickly crouch behind your car and arm your Colt 1911, a goon will approach you from your right. Shoot him first and then shoot the guy with the Tommy gun just in front of your car. There will be another 2 guys with some shotguns, one will approach you from your front and one is hiding behind the branches at your left. Just keep ducking behind your car and shooting when you see the whites of their beady little eyes. Get into the Truck and go further into the harbour. Watch out for shotguns and Tommy gun toting guys, there're quite a few of them in this level. In the truck, head right to the edge of the harbour by the sea, then carefully pick off the guys on top of the cranes, and then look out for the guy shooting out of the window. There are quite a few piles of wood and metal containers you can hide behind as cover, and once you have killed the baddies in the vicinity, In that area you will see Morello's car parked outside of a building. You have to then arrange the rail tracks (by going up to the handles and �using� them) so the train at the end of the rail will crash into the big iron doors to Morello�s hiding place. You then have to look at the petrol tanker train carriage, and �use� the brick stone that is under the front wheels to remove it, thus causing the front carriage to move forward. Enter the warehouse and be careful for shotgun users here, there's a lot of them, so just take it slowly. You'll find Morello at the back of the area, but watch out, as he�s one mean sucker. Use your Tommy gun and take pot shots at him from behind the containers, but watch out as he�s got quite an itchy trigger finger. If at any time you need health, there is some in the little room behind where Morello is (you can get it after you beat him, and there is a health kit in one of the buildings near the cranes by the sea, it�s the building with an open door with a ramp going up, go in and then through the small door, down the stairs to find the health). After Morello is dead, get back into your flatbed truck that you drove in with, and speed out of the harbour the way you came in, get out at the entrance and get back into your car and speed away. On your way out of the harbour complex watch out for loads more baddies who�ll shoot at you. Bonus Section: If you visit Lucas again, he will ask you to retrieve his wounded friend from China Town and take him to the doctor in Oakwood, and you must do it quickly. You need a pretty quick car, and also make sure it can carry 4 passengers, as you will need to carry the injured man and his friend. The time limit is fairly tight, but you should get to China Town pretty quickly, and when you pick up the men, make sure you don�t crash the car too much as it will cause the injured man to lose more health. Quickly take them to the place indicated on the map, and when you get near enough, you will stop outside and they will get out. Head back to Lucas and he'll teach you how to steal a nice sports car at the multi-story carpark in Central Island. Go Back to Salieri's to end the mission. CHAPTER 16: "Creme De La Creme" Your now assigned the oh so minor task of taking out Morello himself! Go to the Theatre at Central Island and when you approach with the intention of assassinating him, you�ll see Morello drive away in his fancy limousine. You must quickly give chase, driving like a maniac, and he�ll eventually lead you to the airport. Get out of the car as soon as the car breaks down (don�t bother listening to the speech). Run straight into the airport complex but watch out for 2 guys, you should be able to take them out with your sawn-off shotgun easily. You�ll then see a plane moving, and then you�ll also see your car driving again, so quickly run and get into the right hand door of the car and you�ll be given a Tommy gun. The car will drive automatically, and all you have to do is shoot at both engines on the plane until they each catch fire. Once the energy bar is down to zero, watch the cutscene. After seeing the plane go down, get back in the car and drive to the big hangar where you�ll find Morello�s cool limousine abandoned, simply open the door and drive away with it. Bonus Section: Go back to the bar to off drop Sam and Paulie, and then head back to Lucas. This time you�ll be asked to dump a car into the ocean somewhere near the cliffs. Head all the way over to the cliffs just below Oak Hill, and drive the car to the very edge of the cliffs. Steal a car from nearby and carefully ram into the other car so it will fall off the cliffs and into the sea Go back to Lucas and he�ll teach you how to steal a Celeste Marque 500. Go to the parking lot indicated and as you�re stealing the car, look out for the angry owner who comes out and challenges you, kill him and then drive off in his motor. Go Back to Salieri's to end the mission. CHAPTER 17 "Election Campaign" You now have to assassinate a politician, and this time you get to use a sniper rifle. Go to the abandoned jail and look down a side alley and you�ll see a man standing in front of a sewer entrance. Kill him to make your escape easier later on and then enter the sewer. Having taken the minor detour into the sewers, you then climb up a ladder and get inside the old prison grounds. Walk over to the iron gate and watch for some dogs. Kill all of them, again to make your escape easier later on. When you get inside the jail look for some stairs heading up and be ready for a gunfight. There are about 4 guys here, so wait for each one to come down the stairs after they�ve seen you and blow them away. Having despatched the goons, go out the door at the end of the room and up the outside wooden staircase. Go through the door up there and you�ll hear a baddie talking. Kick open the door but be prepared for another gunfight. When you kick open the door the guy standing by it will fall over, giving you a great opportunity to kill him and nab his shotgun. Switch to the shotgun and take out the remaining baddies in this area, and then watch out for more arriving when you go near the end of the room. Some have shotguns, but some also have harmless baseball bats. Go through the end door and head right, but watch out for the guy behind the cage area. You�ll then find another set of stairs, guarded by quite a few guys, so be careful. Hide by the wall and take pot shots at the guys on the stairs, and then when you head up, watch out for a few more on the staircase. When you finally reach the top floor, toggle your sniper mode and find the politician who�s on a small island with a white building on it. He's giving a speech in front of the building. Aim carefully and when he�s in your sights, blast him (note- although it says you only get one shot at him before his guards protect him, if you do miss him you do get time to take another couple of shots at him to kill him). When you�ve killed him, you can either head back the way you came and out the sewer way, or go down the long staircase and out into the courtyard where the dogs were mincing around. To get out the big door in the courtyard, shoot the lock and you can get then open the door. Quickly run to your car and burn rubber. Bonus Section: Lucas will now ask you to quickly pick his friend up from the Works Quarter area. The guy doesn�t know that the police are after him, so you have to reach him before the cops do. Quickly drive to the designated location and look out for the guy standing on the corner wearing a suit. Pick him up and take him back to Lucas, and you'll learn how to lockpick another new car. Go to Oak Hill and look out for the car in question. Walk up to it and listen to the two guys drooling over the car. Talk to the guys to tell them to clear off, giving you your opportunity to purloin the car. Go back to Salieri's to end the mission. CHAPTER 18 "Just for Relaxation" You�ve now been ordered to hijack a truck and steal a load of expensive cigars from the harbour. First of all, go to the rendezvous site near the harbour where you'll drop Sam off to wait for you. Then go to the front of the harbour to wait for the truck. When the truck leaves the harbour, follow it right up to when it enters a small warehouse and has it�s cargo unloaded, and when the truck leaves the small building, block it�s path further down the road. Pull the driver out and punch him a few times until he drops the papers, and you can then drive to the harbour. When you arrive at the harbour, drive around until you find the warehouse with a man standing on the upper level in an open entrance. Talk to him and he'll order you to pick up the crates and put them inside the Dispatch Hall. However, I didn�t listen to that order, and talked to the man again and he said he was going to the toilet and he�d be back in a minute, which gave me the perfect opportunity to steal the crates. Before you talk to the man, reverse the truck up to the loading area of the warehouse, making it quicker to load up the crates. When he leaves to go and do his �business�, QUICKLY move all the Scorsese cigar crates behind him to your truck. After you load all the crates quickly get out of the harbour and head to the meeting place where Sam and Paulie are waiting. You now have to kill lots of goons, so you can position your truck to make a barricade and make a way for one person so you can kill one person at a time instead of facing them all at the same time. However, although this is the usual way, I tried this a lot of times but kept getting killed, as there are lots of shotgun toting baddies on your case. So instead of driving back to the rendezvous place and being followed by the goons, I simply had a destruction derby by ramming and flipping the baddies cars with my truck, and occasionally stopping, waiting for them to get out, and then running them over. But watch out, as when they get out, they have shotguns, and if they hit your radiator too many times it can turn your truck into a BBQ. After a short while, all the baddies had been run over or their cars flipped and couldn�t follow me, so then head to the meeting place, pick up Paulie and drive to the warehouse. See a cutscene and it�s then the end of the mission. CHAPTER 19 "Moonlighting" It�s time to pull a bank job! After the cutscene at Paulie's house, follow him to the train station, get on the train and follow Paulie to the bank. When you get inside the bank, Paulie will tell you his plans and then asks you to go to Yellow Pete at Hoboken (the �Twister� building) to get some firepower. Steal a car and then go there. Get all the handguns you can carry and a Tommy gun, and then visit Lucas Bertone to get a new car. He will ask you to go and see, *cough* Big Dick just below the East Marshall Bridge which connects Central Island to Downtown. Go there, and talk to him and you�ll see a cutscene, and then be prepared for a small gunfight. It shouldn�t be too much trouble if you hide behind the boxes and barrels and take out all the baddies one by one. Go back to Lucas and he'll teach you how to steal a new car. Having stolen the new set of wheels, go to Paulie's flat and honk your horn, then head to the bank. When you enter the bank, wait for Paulie to shout his orders to the staff, and get your Tommy gun out and watch for a security guard who comes through the door next to the entrance. Shoot him and then go back into the main area and shoot another gun toting guard. Get the keys from behind the cashier area and go upstairs, again, watch out for a guard here. Find the manager's room and talk to him to find where the keys to the safe are hidden, get the keys from the cupboard and head out of his office, but watch out for another guard then go downstairs and find the safe area. There are more guards down here, but your Tommy gun should take them down pretty easily. Find the big looking safe and then open the door to see a cutscene. After you�ve finished collecting the cash, go upstairs to see Paulie and then escape the bank. You have the very fast car from Lucas, so escaping from the police shouldn�t be too difficult. Head to the Palermo Club at Hoboken, drive into the side gate and into the little warehouse inside and it�s the end of the mission. CHAPTER 20 "The Death of Art" There are some SPOILERS in this section, so as they say, �If you don�t want to know the result look away now�. You'll see a cutscene and you'll find Paulie in his flat. When the cutscene ends quickly hide your weapons and get out of Paulie's flat as quick as possible. On your way out you�ll see some police officers coming up, just ignore them and run out of the building. Outside, you�ll see two cars; steal the Police Car (!!) and then head to Lucas Bertone to acquire another new car. You have to follow the woman who leaves the Corleone brothel (the one you blew up earlier in the game) and follow her until she enters a building near the church. You can then go back to Lucas and he'll tell you about the new car. Go to the Used Car Lot in Chinatown. There're lots of dogs hanging around inside the car lot, so what you could do is shoot the lock off the door farthest from the small building with the orange car next to it. Then, wait until the dogs aren�t near you, and run in, quickly lockpick the small green car to the left (it doesn�t take long to open it), get inside and then just run over all the smelly dogs in the lot. When they�re all road kill, get out and steal the other car. Now head to Yellow Pete's shop in Hoboken and buy all the handguns you can carry, a Tommy gun, plus carry with you a pump-action shotgun. Go the Art Museum and prepare for the last section of the game. * Grand Finale * After the cutscene ends, quickly arm you shotgun and blast the two guys to the right and then quickly turn around and open the glass door behind you and wait next to the pillar for a couple more baddies to come for you. Blast them, plus look for the guy on the stairs to the left. Walk up the right hand staircase from the way you started the level, but watch out for the shotgun guy on a landing next to those stairs. Head up the stairs and along the art room and turn left and then head into the next room. In the next room there is the shotgun guy (if you didn�t kill him earlier) and a handgun guy. When you kill them, exit the room there'll be a guy shooting you from far away with a Tommy gun, quickly go back into the room you were in and wait for him to run in, then simply blast him from close range with your shotgun. Head right out of the room and you'll see a small staircase with a guy standing at the bottom. Shoot him and then quickly run back to the top of the stairs and find cover behind the wall and strafe and shoot more guys that come down the stairs. After they�re all dead, head up the stairs they were standing by, but QUICKLY turn around and run away because a grenade will be thrown down from above. After the explosion two guys will come down, kill them. Go upstairs and see the cutscene. After the cutscene quickly head back downstairs and take cover. Aim for the guy standing on the balcony in front of you, and then another guy will appear from the left stairs. This area is basically crawling with baddies, so watch yourself, and always find cover. Kill the two guys who are standing at the top of the stairs. Go upstairs and watch out for more guys at the top around the vestibule area with pillars and the small gap in the middle of the area. If at any point you need more health, you can find a health box near the door that has two staircases either side of it. However, watch out for grenades being thrown down from above when you approach the health kit. Go the main area upstairs again and open the doors around there, you'll be able to open one of them but watch out for baddies inside the galleries. After you open the door immediately take cover and snipe the baddies. After killing the baddies inside, enter the door and head around through each room, killing any baddies you may come across, and watch out for the ones that are ducking behind the seats. In one room you�ll see Sam run away. Kill the remaining baddies and then head upstairs using the stairs near the health kit box and go through the door (one of the doors up there leads to a small room with lots of seats but no baddies) enter the door and see the cutscene and prepare for the final shootout. Keep well hidden behind the walls and then quickly run to the corridor near the door you entered through. Walk next to the wall and edge the camera around so you can see Sam at the end of the corridor but he can�t see you. Then get your Tommy Gun out, duck down and strafe out from the wall and shoot Sam with a steady stream of fire, when he gets hit he bends over, and can�t shoot at you, so simply keep shooting him with a constant stream of Tommy gun fire (don�t hold the mouse button down or you�ll lose accuracy, so tap the button every second to concentrate the fire on him) Eventually, after hitting him enough times, he will run away. Run along the corridor where he was standing and then all the way around until to see blood trails on the floor. Edge closer along the bloodied corridor but be ready for Sam who�ll run out and try to shoot at you. Shoot him before he shoots you to beat him. When you get to this boss, it would be useful to have lots of health, although it�s difficult to keep health, as there are so many baddies around. When I got to the final shootout with Sam, I had 19 health. Although he killed me a few times as he�s accurate and does lots of damage, when I got the hang of the system, I beat him despite having quite low health Watch the final cutscene, the end sequence and then watch the credits to see all the brilliant people that made this fine game possible. Having completed the game you will then have unlocked �Free Ride Extreme� mode.
