Walkthrough for: Operation Flashpoint

Start and Training Operation Flashpoint starts off as being quite simple. You start off being inspected by you commander and then are told to run to the nearby truck, just go to the yellow box, and back. When you do get back remember to put your M16 on your back or else you�\|ll just be standing there. Then you are told to go and get into a truck, follow the other people in your squad. The truck takes to you to a pretty simple obstacle course, all you need to do is walk in the ��maze�\| walking along the planks then get down onto your stomach and crawl under the mesh, then sprint back to your team and wait for everyone else to finish. When everyone has managed to finish the course get back into the truck and you are taken to the firing range, there fill up on Ammo and go to Range 3. You�\|ll need three shots to knock down each target so just keep on firing until all three targets are down. Congratulations you just finished training ��. Flashpoint You�\|ve just finished training and you�\|re straight into some action. Get onto the helicopter and it�\|ll take you near Morton, the village you have to secure. You�\|ll be briefed on your way there so keep on listening out to any talk that happens on the ��copter. Get out and start advancing on the village. When advancing though always stay with your team, moving ahead of them will only get you killed. Oh yeah and put burst mode on your rifle, it�\|s much easier to kill enemies using burst mode. When advancing with your team stay on the ground and when needed get up for SHORT sprints. As you get nearer to Morton your leader will start telling you to kill certain enemies, listen to him , he knows what he�\|s talking about. However this doesn�\|t stop you killing other enemies, remember the more you kill the quicker you finish the mission. If you run low on M16 ammo feel free to nick the odd weapon from the dead enemies but remember this takes some time so make sure you are sort of covered before trying. When in the village don�\|t go into the mindset that you�\|re so there should be no enemies left, there will be enemies in the village right up until the mission ends. Combined Arms You start in a truck and when you get to your destination get off, follow your leader for a bit and there you�\|ll be told exactly what is happening by your leader. Keep on following your leader in the position you�\|re meant to be and advance to your attacking position north of Regina. There will be a lot of bushes between you and Regina, use these to your advantage. On your way to Regina you�\|ll see a couple of big vehicles, leave these alone because in your squad there will be a couple of LAW soldiers (rocket launcher) and you�\|ll have another squad of tanks advancing with you. Eventually you�\|ll be told that the village in clear, be cautious though before this report is given. As you enter the village you�\|ll get a message from Papa Bear that there are Russian tanks advancing on the village and you�\|ll be told to retreat. DO IT QUICK. Hanging around will mean you�\|ll be shreaded into lots of little pieces but the tanks. Head towards wher you are told to go forgetting the rest of your squad. When you get to safety the mission will end. Camping This mission starts off pretty easy with you being driven to a truck by the commander in the jeep, he�\|ll tell you that he doesn�\|t know exactly who�\|s attacking the islands and then you�\|ll be at the truck. Get out of the jeep and into the truck as the river and follow the commander in his jeep back to the other men. Do NOT run the commander over, you�\|re truck is about 5 times bigger than the jeep and its very easy for the truck to tip the jeep over. DO NOT DO IT. You�\|ll just have to restart the mission (very boring). When you get to the other men they�\|ll get into the truck and you�\|ll be told to go and follow the jeep. You�\|ll drop the men off somewhere and you�\|ll be told to get into the jeep and go on patrol with the commander. The commander will stoop the jeep and tell everyone to get out, just follow the commander and kill anyone you see. At one point you�\|ll see a US APC, don�\|t worry you�\|ll be safe and above all don�\|t shoot at it. Then you�\|ll be told to go back to Le Moule where everyone else is and then the mission will be over. Alert You�\|re in Morton at the beginning hanging around, as usual and then you get a cry of help through tht e radio and it�\|s then when you have to go straight into action. Wait for the APC and get on it. You�\|ll get taken straight into the middle of the fighting. Watch out you�\|ll be shot at from two directions, concentrate on one direction, it�\|s up to you hat direction you concentrate on but stick to one. Alowly and carelfully move to the north to your pick-up point and AS ALWAYS stick to your leaders commands, he knows what he�\|s on about. At this point keep an eye on all sides because you�\|ll be shot at all directions, one by one pick off all the people. When you�\|ve killed everyone you�\|ll be fine and get onto the truck.
