******************************************* Last Level : Sith Tomb Objectives : 1. Navigate the ancient ruins and enter the tomb of Ragnos 2.Stop Tavion from resurrecting Marka Ragnos This is the last level of Star wars : Jedi academy and it is also one of the hardest. I am going to tell you the best way to conquer the level which includes how to get to Tavion at the temple and then how to defeat her. It�s quite a tricky level for beginners and if you are stuck on the level, and you have played the previous Star wars games I will give you some simple advice to help you. I myself have played the 2nd Star Wars game : Jedi Outcast and I was stuck on the last level for ages, I did eventually complete it � using the invincibility cheat, but having played it for the 1,000 time I have discovered some different tactics and how to defeat Tavion without the use of cheats. I will first begin to tell you what weapons you should take and what force you should use. Primary Weapons - You can only pick 3 different guns and at first I had no idea what guns to pick as I did not know what the level would be like, but having played the level over and over again I have worked out what guns are best to use, this includes - 1. the nice disrupter rifle !! 2. the merr-sonn plx-2m�� missile launcher 3. the imperial heavy repeater I chose these weapons for several reasons � All of them are effective at long range, which is useful because the environment is flat and large, allowing you to see what is around you. They are all reasonably powerful allowing you to kill or weaken the powerful enemies easier. And the last reason is that all of the shots from the guns can not be deflected by a lightsaber, which is extremely useful because most of the enemies you will face will be Siths (The holders of the darkside, have lightsabers and are educated about force powers) Secondary Weapons - You are only allowed to pick 2- 4. thermal detonators 5. detonation packs It took me a while to find out which weapons worked best for the level. The choice was between thermal detonators, trip mines or detonation packs. As you progress through the level you normally see the enemies in bunches of about 4 or 5 ( this only applies for storm- troopers and not enemy Jedies ). Well trip mines do not really do much for this as they are best for stealth missions. Thermal detonators and detonation packs are brilliant against groups of people so that is why I chose them. Forces - There are many forces to choose from and it is sometimes quite hard to pick which ones will suit your mission best. It makes it even harder when you have to choose your side, the light path of Luke SkyWalker or the path of Anakin, the Darkside. Both sides have different forces which are best for different missions, but I think that for this particular mission it�s best to use the darkside, as most of these forces are aggressive, unlike the lightside. Choose wisely. The mission starts inside. If you look around there will be an obviously placed door. Go through it and you will soon be outside. (You will notice why I said an Imperial repeater is a good weapon for this mission) There will be LOTS of rocks and ledges, but its best to just ignore them. You want to try moving to where you can see an open place, which will only be occupied by 1 Sith. He won�t see you so the best thing to do is either 1 of the following depending on which weapons or forces you chose beforehand � 1. Snipe him in the head with a Disruptor Rifle (this will not kill him but he will be severely weak!) 2. Throw your lightsaber (this will not kill him but he will be severely weak!) 3. Use force Drain or force Lightning 4. Charge up and fire a Concussion Rifle towards his upper body out of the way of his lightsaber (this will most probably kill him!) There are a whole bundle of methods but those ones I recommend to use. The next step is basiclly just running along and killing all the other Siths in the same way. Then it starts to get terribly confusing as you will see a lightsaber duel ahead. The best thing to do is just leave them to it. The Jedi will probably win any way! To the right you will see a big drop, but you have to get to the other side�� You cannot jump over, but you can WALK around. Once you have done there will be another Sith waiting for you. Kill him. [SAVE HERE] Carry on going and you will see kyle Katarn and Luke Skywalker battling a Sith. Stay well out of the way �cause here is one angry Sith (grrrrr..). Go up the steps into the temple and there is (drumm roll please) the one �nd only � Tavion. Oh aren�t we all so scared. Easy peasy lemon squeezy to kill her. Just follow these simple instructions � 1. Try to use force speed and protection as much as possible 2. Don�t try to take her out with your weapons apart from the Concussion Rifle maybe 3. Fight her with a strong mode lightsaber (press X till the colour in the bottom corner turns red) 4. Do as many flips as possible and try to use the roll and stab combo too (roll then press the right trigger to attack) 5. But most important of all -stay out of the way of her fuzzy glowing red thing I do not guarantee that you will succeed at first, but after several attempts you will. Well that is the last mission in Star Wars : Jedi Knight and I �ope i �ave helped ya !!
