WEAPON GUIDE: Pistols: M1911. The small pistol is quick fire but is not very accurate over long distances. It also does not have great stopping power so head shots are recommended and keep it for close combat. Reloading is quite fast, but use pistol whip if you don't have time. WELROD. This is a silenced pistol; it is powerful and quite accurate. The down side is that it can only hold a single bullet at a time so you must reload it after every shot. Not to be used in situations where there are multiple enemies who are alerted to your position, but great for picking off from a distance. Rifles: M1 GARAND. Fires quickly and accurately, but will need reloading frequently. You cannot reload until the clip is completely empty, so make sure that you fire off any spare rounds and reload to entering any heavy combat. Reloading is quite fast. SPRINGFIELD '03. A powerful sniper rifle, but slow due to needing to be reloaded after each shot. Keep for long distance picking. SHOTGUN. Great close combat weapon that can kill most enemies with a single blast. Not much use at a distance though. Fast to fire but slow to reload. Automatics: BAR. One of the slower automatics, but very powerful. Carries quite small clips, but the slow fire rate makes up for this so you won't be reloading to often. THOMPSON. Good machine gun that fires quickly and reloads just as fast. Good up close but not very accurate at a distance. STEN MK 2. Highly accurate, quick fire and quick reload. Only let down by its lack of power. T-99. Accuarate only is short bursts of fire. Quick fire and quick reload. T-11 A more powerful version of the T-99. Same as the T-99 it is only accurate in short controlled bursts. Eats loads of ammo, but is very powerful. Quick to reload. DEMOLITIONS: Grenade. Takes out groups of enemies easily, but make sure they don't throw 'em back at you!! M9A1 Bazooka. More accurate to use than grenades, takes out large numbers of enemies with a single shot. Don't get caught in the blast!! MISSION 1: DAY OF INFAMY OBJECTIVES: Get Topside Extinguish fire Defend USS California BONUS OBJECTIVES: Assist Engineer Save Crewman Leave the sleeping quarters and head to the right, you will see a crewman electrocuted. Head through the door on the left and follow the crewman. Go into the barbers and enter the door on the left into the post Office (notice the netting, you will need to come back here when you have the Machete). Go to the back of the room and through the door. Run upstairs and through the door to find another crewman who you must follow. Go right and jump over the electrified cables and duck under the pipes. Head to the end of the corridor and help the engineer close the hatch. Go through the door to your left and get the fire extinguisher from the wall (after the explosion). Use the extinguisher to put out the flames before it can spread, then head through the door on the left. Put out the fire and the crewman will help the injured man. Grab the film canister and head back through the door you came in. Go to the next door on the left, the chef will take the extinguisher from you and put out the fire. Once the fire is out, head through the kitchen and into the mess. Save here. Go through the door on the right and upstairs, along the corridor. You are on the deck. There is a machine gun on the right and one up the stairs. Use the gun on the right and shoot down as many planes as you can before you are blown into the sea. Keep watch for torpedoes and blast them before they hit the ship. There are medi-packs and canteens on the upper and lower areas. MISSION 2: PEARL HARBOUR. OBJECTIVES: Defend Battleship Row Escort USS Nevada BONUS OBJECTIVES: Shoot down 20 planes For this mission you will remain in control of a gun turret, you cannot control where you are going. The first wave of fighters come from the left and then from behind the boat. As you pass the sinking boat more will attack the front and the right. As you pass between two boats you will be attacked from behind. As go around the front of the ship another wave will attack from the front. As you head towards the next set of ships more will attack from the front. As soon as you have passed the burning hulks more will attack from the front, then your boat will turn left and you will be attacked. Your turret will jam, so you will have to watch as the USS Arizona is sunk. You will then head towards the burning ships and you will be blinded by smoke, then fighters will attack from the front. The USS Nevada will now request cover so she can escapee to sea. Shoot down any planes that attack and then turn your attention to the bombers that are attacking the Nevada, take out as many as possible. MISSION 3: FALL OF THE PHILIPPINES OBJECTIVES. Find your Brother Repair the tank Find explosives truck Disable radio command Signal for demolition. BONUS OBJECTIVES: Find Commander Shima's photo Find golden Buddha Watch out for the planes, you can shoot them if you like. Run across the bridge and shoot the planes on the right. Your brother is behind the sandbags. After he is finished talking kill any enemies that appear. Enter the building to the right and into the area underneath. Kill the enemy and pick up the tank cogwheel. Go back outside. Repair the tank with the cogwheel and follow it through the barricade. Run down the down, killing any enemies the tank fails to take out, also keep an eye out for ammo and health packs. Go into the collapsed building to the left and get the film canister on the floor above, behind the boxes. Continue to follow the tank until you get to an area with four buildings. Kill all enemies inside them and get all the goodies. Outside the tank has been stopped by a road block. After you receive your orders, head back where you came from until you see a plane fly above you and head into the building on the left as quick as you can before the tank arrives. Save Here. Don't bother with the tank, just head upstairs and enter the room on the left. Kill the troops on the roof opposite and go back out into the corridor. Go through the hole in the wall, go down the plank and kill the enemy manning the machine gun, use this to kill all attacking enemies. Go right along the road killing as you go, then go down one of the holes by the gate, this takes you into the sewer. Follow the tunnel until you see light shining through the gaps on the left. Peek through and you will see an enemy, kill him then head towards the end of the sewer and up the stairs to get to the baseball ground. Kill everyone and then head up to the stands to kill the radio operator in the announcer�s box. Destroy the box on the floor to the left to get the photograph, and then head to the next box to kill the enemy, use the machine gun to kill all attacking troops. Head to the main gates, they open and reveal the gates to the right are open, but don't go through here, instead head over to the container in the corner in front of the scoreboard and kill the enemies behind it. Go down the stairs back into the sewer and head down the tunnel to the right. When you get to the surface, kill the enemy and go forwards. Look through the hole in the wall to see the man peeing! Kill him while he is otherwise engaged (lol). Destroy the big box just past the hole to reveal a smaller one, destroy this box to get the Buddha. Crawl through the hole and towards the building, killing all as you go. Head into the building and go through the door on the left and go upstairs, kill the enemy that runs at you. Head down the corridor on the right and up the stairs. Use the machine gun on the roof to kill all the enemies and the tank. Head back downstairs and through the open gate to get outside. Run to the right and go behind the church, kill everyone and go around the corner to get another film canister. Go to the truck and get the stuff beside it, then head into the church. Go up the aisle and Save Here. Go back and head upstairs to the bell tower, ring the bell to signal for the demolition troops. Run back down and outside and get in the truck. Kill as many enemies as you can and take out the tank with grenades, shoot the explosive barrels to take out multiple enemies. MISSION 4: MIDNIGHT RAID ON GUADALCANAL OBJECTIVES: Reach Landing area Reach outpost Destroy Ammo depot Secure depot BONUS OBJECTIVES: Collect five intelligence documents Destroy generator Head down the river and kill the two enemies that attack. You should see smoke in the distance, run towards the smoke and more enemies will attack, Kill them. Get out of the boat and head into the jungle, look for enemies hidden in the shrubs. Use the Springfield to look for enemies and take 'em out. At the clearing you will see you the boat waiting for you, help your comrades kill anyone who attacks (make sure you take out the machine gun bunker) and get the intelligence documents. in the bunker. Get back in the boat and continue down stream. You will hear shooting but no-one will attack yet, a crewmate will be eaten by a croc but you cannot save him. When you reach the shore get out and head forward killing anyone you come across in the clearing (take out the machine gun bunker first). Grab the intelligence documents from the bunker then head into the cave. There is a save point on the left, use it. then go up the slope, it doesn't matter which path you take. When you get to the clearing, kill the enemy in the tree and any on the ground, then get to the truck. Throw some grenades at it to take out the guy in the back and the two behind, when they are dead get into the truck and use the machine gun to kill everyone. When they are all dead get out and run down the hill. When you get to the bottom you'll need to go through the bushes, turn left straight away for a save point. Head back outside and go to the outpost, kill everyone (make sure you get the ones in the towers) and then keep going. Instead of going to the outpost, head down the path opposite the towers. Follow the path to a clearing where you will see a building, kill everyone and then go to the boxes, jump up the pile until you get to the film canister at the top. Jump down and go along the path behind the building to get to the cave entrance, go in and kill anyone who attacks. out side is another clearing with another building, go inside and kill everyone and get the equipment. Go back out and around to the back of the building, you will see two enemies harassing a civilian, kill the enemies and the civilian will cut down the bushes for you, don't take this short cut though. Instead follow the path opposite the steps to get to the outpost, kill anyone you come across then go into the nearest building to get the intelligence documents. Go back outside and kill more enemies and then head to the path you came from and go left, you should come across a cave on the left, there is a save point here. Head down the path, killing any enemies along the way, until you get to a clearing with a machine gun, take it out and then head to the right and follow the path to get behind the bunker, pick up the intelligence documents and then use the machine gun to kill anyone who approaches. Head down the nearby tunnel to get to a clearing with some buildings. Go into the shed on the left and kill the enemies and then get into the truck to use the machine gun. Head to the next building and use a grenade to destroy the generator, then go down the path to the left to the next clearing. Kill everyone and go into the building, kill everyone inside and go upstairs and kill everyone up there as well, you should find the last set of documents up here. Go outside again and head to the clearing with all the boxes, run to the anti-aircraft cannon on the right and use it to destroy the ammo depot and the tank that appears. Once the area is clear, go down the path to the right of the gun and into the cave for a save point. Continue down the path and drop down to the machine gun, use it to kill everyone (watch for grenades) until the mission ends. There health packs nearby if you need them. MISSION 5: PISTOL PETE SHOWDOWN OBJECTIVES: Locate last allied patrol Find and destroy Pistol Pete Artillery Rescue lost allied patrol Escort Harrison to Pistol Pete Rendezvous with Clemens Escape across final bridge BONUS OBJECTIVES: Storm pack howitzer emplacement Save Harrison Head forwards into the clearing, go right and follow the trees killing everyone. Follow the trees until you pass under a log. Go left past the tree in front of you and between the rocks to the left. Go up the slope and over the log that you past before, look left and kill the enemy manning the machine gun, then drop down to use the gun yourself, kill everyone but make sure that you don't kill any civilians or Clemens. go over and talk to Clemens, he will lead you up the slope. Use his binoculars to see the captured allied patrol, listen to Clemens. Head down the slope and pause at the bottom in the long grass, look right until you see Clemens, as soon as he is with you attack all the enemies. Release the prisoners and listen to Harrison and Clemens. Now head around behind the other side of the biggest building and duck underneath to get the machete. Head through the broken fence on the right and go up the hill, watch for fallings trees and enemy troops. Stay to the left and cut down the bushes at the top of the hill and follow the path to the clearing, cut down any bushes that get in the way. Head left and kill anyone you encounter, and then use the howitzer to kill more enemies and destroy the tank. Destroy the dark rock to reveal a film canister. Go down the hill and down the path on the left, watch out for the machine gun around the corner, kill him and cross the river, man the other machine gun and kill anyone who attacks. Follow the path and go into the small area to the left to find a save point. Follow the path, kill everyone along the way until you find Clemens. Take the Thompson from Clemens and use it to kill everyone, then go along the path on the other side of the river, listen carefully to Clemens and follow him left into a cave. Go through the cave, killing everyone until you find the first pistol Pete artillery. Kill everyone and Harrison will place explosives for you to detonate. Use the save point in the small room then go through the door, kill the troops who attack. Head for the bridge and kill the enemies below you, the head down. Go through the opening to get outside and kill the enemies on the stairs on the other side of the canyon. Go across the bridge and up the stairs. Kill all the troops manning the machine gun then Harrison will throw a grenade into the bunker. Go into the bunker and through the door to the right to find the second pistol Pete artillery. Kill the enemies then the gun will explode and then kill the rest who come through the door. Go through this door and into the tunnel, killing everyone you come across. Go into the room at the end and get the film canister, and then go up the slope to the bridge. Cross this bridge to get to the last pistol Pete artillery and kill the troops guarding it. Wait for Harrison to destroy the artillery and head through the door onto the cliff. Go left and shoot the enemies ahead of you. Harrison will run across the bridge and get shot whilst placing the explosives, run onto the bridge and press action to help him across to the other side before the bridge explodes. MISSION 6: SINGAPORE SLING OBJECTIVES: Rendezvous with Tenaka Ambush Kandler's car Steal Kandler's uniform Reach the Hotel Infiltrate the Axis summit Grab the slide reel Escape the hotel BONUS OBJECTIVES: Rescue three POW's Find three pieces of additional evidence Equip the Welrod and use it to kill the enemies on the pier, head towards the trucks and over to the left and use the machete to remove the net covering the generator, it will turn on and create a massive explosion that will take out a few enemies nearby. Head out through the gates to find Tanaka in the rickshaw, get in. Listen to him talk, then you are hit by a car and are on foot. Stay put whilst Tanaka talks to the enemy troops. When they have gone, head towards the gate and then go left into the speakeasy to use the save point. Go back out into the street and kill the enemies, then go down the sewer to the left and hide from the enemies around the corner, pick them off from your hiding place. Get out of the sewer at the end and go down the street and head first left down the alley, go to the end and through the door on the left. Go upstairs and across the bridge, kill the enemies in the warehouse. Go to the room on the left and kill the two enemies question the POW to free him. Go down the stairs to the ground floor and out through the door. Kill everyone and head right into the building. Go downstairs and into the tunnel, follow it to the warehouse, kill everyone and then go up the slope on the right to get the film canister. Head back through the tunnel and go outside. Go right and then left when you get to a wall. Bromley will open the door and call to you. Follow him inside, listen to him talk and follow him again. Go down the stairs and then go behind them to get another film canister. Kill all the enemies in the collapsed room and then go up the stairs on the other side. When you get to the room at the top go up the stairs on the left to get outside again. Bromley will give you some Caltrops so walk forward and throw them on the ground; Kandler's car will drive over them and crash. Steal Kandler's uniform and then go up the stairs to use a save point. Keep going up and kill everyone on the roof as you go across, keep going until you see another POW, kill the enemies to free him and then fill the enemies on the roof to the right, then drop down. Use the boxes to get to the other roof and go down the stairs into the building. Kill the enemies in the window then head out into the corridor to get the other POW. Head down the stairs to find Tanaka with a car, get in. When you get to the Hotel your weapons won't be available, so go inside then head upstairs and around to the left to find the axis summit. After a while Kandler will burst in and expose you a an impostor, at that point Bromley will smash through the skylight and throw the Sten at you. Get the slide reel from the table and exit the room and head right. Go around the balcony killing everyone and head inside the room at the rear. Enter the corridor to the right and open the door to find the kitchen. Kill everyone and pick up the additional evidence from the table on the left then go into the room on the left to use a save point. Go the up the stairs to the right, kill everyone and grab more additional evidence on the left. Follow the corridor until you find the open room on the left, kill everyone inside and then go into the room opposite, kill the enemies and get the additional evidence from the chair. Head outside to escape. MISSION 7: IN SEARCH OF YAMASHITA�S GOLD OBJECTIVES: Locate Flying Tigers crash site Find Tanaka Discover Yamashita�s gold Exit temple before fourth gun explodes Rescue pilot BONUS OBJECTIVES: Destroy Officers� Sake supply When Bromley has finished talking head forwards and kill the enemies. Go down the path to the left until you get you an open area with an upward slope on the right. Go up the slope and kill the sniper then kill the enemies on the ground below. Go back down the slope and head to the area that you have just cleared, kill anyone who attacks then go up the hill behind the machine gun. Use the save point in the next area and then go up to the gap between the rock and the tree. Shoot the enemy manning the machine gun, run over to it. Use the crates as cover whist you kill anyone who attacks and destroy the machine gun opposite. When everyone is dead run forward, but be careful of another machine gun in the building to the right. Go to the other side of the building and pick up the film canister, then head down the path to the north and use the save point before continuing to the crash site. Continue down the path to get to the temple. Use the sniper rifle to kill enemies from a distance, look for the two in the tower. Head up the steps into the temple, watch out for the machine gun at the top. On the balcony, kill the enemies on the scaffolding then go down the passage on the right. In the next room kill the enemies then destroy the Sake barrels. In the next room kill everyone in the passage on the left then head down it. Open the door at the end and throw in a couple of grenades, go in and kill any survivors. Destroy the other sake barrel and pick up the flower from the hand of the Buddha, go down the passage to the right and save. Go back through the door to the right and follow the passage, kill everyone and go through the door at the end. Kill the enemies in here and go down the passage and open the first door on the left. Destroy another sake barrel then pick up that film canister, continue down the passage and through the next door. Kill everyone in here and destroy the Sake barrel. Head into the passage and go right to the room at the end, kill the knife throwers and destroy the Sake, go back out into the passage and go back the other way. Head around the corner until an explosion makes you fall through the floor, here you will find Yamashita�s gold. Head left to the metal walkway and cross to the other side of the room. Kill the enemies and head down. Go to the end of the passage to the room with the reclining Buddha and use the save point. Now put the flower you got earlier into the water in front of the statue. The door on the right will open to reveal a room that contains an Entrenching tool, pick it up. Head back up the passage and go down the first entrance on the left. Kill the guards and rescue the pilot. Head back to the room with the metal walkway and go through the door on the other side. Follow the passage until you get to the room with a giant Buddha, be careful when it�s head falls off. Kill everyone as you get to the machine gun, use it to kill everyone and destroy the truck. Eventually friendly planes will arrive. MISSION 8: A BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI OBJECTIVES: Rendezvous with chindits Find Bromley Sabotage Bridge on the river Kwai Gain control of crane Open fuel tanks BONUS OBJECTIVES: Kill ten enemies at blockade Disable barge dock Turn around and chop through the bush to reveal a hidden path. Follow it, kill the enemies and go the cliff edge, use the vine to swing to the cave on the other side. Kill everyone and pick up the film canister. Drop down out of the cave and head right to the train tracks. Kill the enemies, follow the tracks and then take the path on the right. Kill everyone as you climb the slope then take control of the machine gun. Kill everyone who attacks and then continue up the slope. Kill everyone and then push the bolder onto the truck below. Go back down to the tracks and head forwards. An enemy truck will appear, but let the chindits destroy it. Follow them down the tracks, using the save point in a cave as you pass. Follow the tracks until you see the blockade. Stay at a distance and use the sniper rifle to kill the enemies, watch for the ones in the towers, and try to kill ten. Head around to the left and use the save point. Keep following that path to the rope bridge, when you get there look down to the right and you will see the barge dock. Shoot the barrels on each barge then continue across the bridge. Follow the path until you reach an area with loads of boxes. Shoot the enemy behind the machine gun to the right and take control, kill everyone who appears. Go to the other side of the boxes and get on the Elephant. Use the gun on it�s back to kill any enemies on the way until you find Bromley, follow him along the tracks, use the save point on the left as you go. Shoot the enemies in the towers and the one with the mortar next to the crane and then get on the crane. The tracks will now block and the train will crash. Go back to the tracks and head towards the bridge. Kill the enemies that jump out of the car and then jump up into it and out the other side. Go across the bridge, going around and through the next wreck until you see a fuel tank on the left, open it and then continue through the wreck to the second one and open that one too. Climb the twisted girder to get over the wreck and then jump to the next car. Kill the enemies and open the last fuel tank. Kill the enemy who jumps out from the car to the right and then head into it to find Bromley. Follow him out and he will throw a grenade which starts a series of explosions. Follow Bromley back into the train car and out the other side and then up onto the roof of the car on the right. Get the film canister and then drop down and continue to follow Bromley to the water below. MISSION 9: SUPERCARRIER SABOTAGE OBJECTIVES: Open vents Destroy fuel monitors Break fuel valves Locate gold Sink carrier BONUS OBJECTIVES: Send false radio transmission Find three imperial orders Head down the stairs and into the first room on the left. Kill the enemy and then open the vent. Go back into the corridor, kill the sailors and continue to the end. Follow the corridor, killing as you go, until you see the second vent, open it. Go into the room on the right and kill everyone, go back into the corridor and go around the next corner. Take the next left into the mess, kill everyone and open the vent. Go back into the corridor and head around the corner, go through the door on the left and kill the pilots, get the film canister and go back into the corridor and head left. Enter the room at the end, open another valve and head through the door on the other side. Use the save point and head down the stairs. Kill more sailors and go into the fuel tank room. Head left along the walkway and then up over the fuel tanks, go left and then right to get to the two control rooms. Kill the enemies then open the vents and destroy the fuel monitors in both rooms. Head back out and go down between the two fuel tanks, break four valves on the way. Go into the second pair of control rooms and so the same again. Go back to the fuel valves and wait for Bromley to set the explosives. Follow him and stay on the bridge over the tanks, shoot any enemies who appear from the door. Go down to the door and through to find the gold. The room will fill with gas and you will taken prisoner. Whilst you are being questioned, Tanaka will break you free. Go to the room on the right for a save point. Go back to the first room and then into the corridor and up the stairs. Kill enemies, using explosive barrels where you can, go outside and along the walkway, killing as you go. Enter the hanger to the left and kill everyone, then go up to the control room, kill the two enemies and pull the lever to open the hanger doors, then pick up the imperial orders. Go back down through the door and kill the sailors, then go up the stairs and outside. Follow the walkway, killing anyone who attacks, then go back inside and up the stairs. Head to the other end and up the stairs. Get the imperial orders from the table and go into the corridor, use the save point in the room on the left. Go to the end and up the stairs, and then go into the first room on the left to sends the radio transmission. Get to the navigation room at the end and get the film canister and imperial orders. Go outside and around to the stairs on the other side that lead to the bridge. Kill the enemies and go through the door and downstairs to the flight deck. Get into the plane on the right and use the tail guns as Bromley takes off. Keep the enemy at bay until the carrier explodes.
