This is a guide for all the levels for all the characters, as the only difference when playing with another character is there stats, which you should be aware of before starting ie If they have good speed but poor armour eg Mr Grimm, then you should use your speed to your advantage by constantly driving around fast to avoid fire. Or if you have good armour and poor speed eg Warthog, then you should aim to ambush your foe and collect as much ammo as possible to guarantee a kill on your first ambush. Ok, i will do one level at a time, as detailed levels help a lot more than a few lines! Los Angeles: Ok, once you start, head for the lightning generator at one end of the map, and blow all four sub reactors, the lil things on the floor, on at a time, to get some weapons, the weapons appear in a red beam in the middle of the generator. Tip: You might get struck, so to speed up collection, sit in the middle where the beam comes down, and using your machine guns spin on the spot by holding X and pressing left or right, this way you get them as soon as they appear, allowing a quick stock up, now drive out of the lightning area as fast as you can to avoid damage! Now you can engage an enemy, as on the plains, there will be an enemy somewhere no doubt. Tip: Take out sweettooth first if he is on the level, as his special is powerful and does home slightly. Once you have taken an enemy out, if your damage is bad, head for a health pack. There are three, one by the underpass section one, one in the secret area across the little bridge, and another to the right of a giant flamming pit. But use these wisely, as they dont reappear! You might want to guard them if your worried the computer might nik em. Tip: If an enemy falls into the flamming pit, freeze him quickly and keep refreezing him, like Mr.Slam would, this way he will burn to death, and it wont cost you ammo! Now you should just collect items and stay out of trouble and let the computer kill its players. A good place to hide is in the secret area, which can be reached either by travelling over a small bridge (which can be blown up with a remote), which can prevent people from attacking you, or by teleporting using the only teleporter on the level, which is situated above the overpass where the health pack is. To get to it, drive up the ramp in between the two overpasses and you will land on the top. Once there is only one or two enemys left, check there positions on the radar (right+select), and you are low on ammo and want to finish them off, then there are a few places where ammo may be. The two pizza restaurants next to the overpasses are destructable, and you get a 2 homeing missiles and 2 napalms if you blow them up. More ammo will reappear around the outside of the level, so just follow the highway round and round to collect ammo, check the radar to see if there is an enemy round the corner to avoid any unnessacary confrontations. Ammo may also reappear inbetween the little buildings on the main plain which are on fire and small. Tip: If you catch on fire at anypoint, simply tap the turbo button (Triangle), and the flame will be extinguished! If you have no turbo this wont work, so head for water if there is any!! So now if you want to finish the last one or two off, heres a great tip to make it so much easier! Head towards the lightning generator, but not into the strikeable area! And drive through it if your opponent is behind you, as he will follow you, into the area and bam! Strike him up to four times depending on how much lightning ammo you collected, which is located in the secret area and on the overpass. If he is infront of you, wait for him to drive into the area then strike. Tip: When striking wait for each bolt to finish, as this drains more life off the enemy then a rapid strike does. This should significantly drain him, if it doesnt kill him. If he does somehow manage to survive, Warthog usually does as his armour is very tough, then simply finish him off with whatever ammo you have left, if he's the last enemy then just unload everything on him, as there would be no point to save ammo as it doesnt carry through to the next level. Ok, Moscow is next, i will write that next... Shrunkensimons own work!
