For a head start in the medical world, you need to plan your
hospitals in your brain. You need to know your hospital. Doing
that happens to be the most sinfully boring thing to do so don't
actually bother. Just follow this walkthrough and see how you get
on!
So! What do you build first? Well, I suggest you build a
reception area with lots of benches for your poorly guests to sit
on. Perhaps a coke machine or something? Oh, and place radiators
at regular intervals along your corridors and in the center of
large open spaces like the reception area. If you want to, put
some plants in the reception area - it makes your patients
happier and they recover quicker! Now hire a receptionist for
each reception desk you have and 3-4 caretakers; It is always a
bad idea to over or under-employ.
Next we move on to the GP's office. Place all your rooms in a
style so that corridors are created. In the GP's office place the
desk with the chair opposite it and the filing cabinet out of the
way. Now, place plants in the room and employ a doctor.
General Diagnosis would be a good idea to move on to next so why
not? Place the weird machine thingy and the screen in the room
and maybe a radiator and some plants. Then, employ a doctor and
another caretaker.
Ward next (the one under the treatment category). Make it quite
big and put beds around the walls and a desk by the door. Add
some plants and some radiators. Employ a nurse this time.
How about a pharmacy? This also needs a nurse and doesn't need to
be very big. Place the medicine cabinet, some plants and a
radiator in the room and employ another caretaker.
Open your hospital, now and then build some more rooms and stuff,
using the tips I have given you above. Always put plants and
radiators in your rooms and every three rooms you create, employ
another caretaker.
Enjoy the game and always check your bank balance and your
reputation!
