THE SIMS: HOT DATE FAQ:
How do you go about constructing your party/living house?
Well the first thing you MUST remember is that you need to build your house knowing that you are going to be partying all night long, so put your guests needs before your own, but keep in mind the fact that you are going to have to live in this house too.
So I suggest having the downstairs area dedciated to partying, and the upstairs for living in. Downstairs should include a large area with two smaller separte tolites (1 male, 1 female) and if you have enough money a swimming pool...or just a simple outdoors area. UPSTAIRS should include YOUR toilet, Bedroom, Kitchen/dining area, plus living room.
PARTY ROOMS:
Dining Rooms?
Make it a dining are in one section or you can wall it off...it is up to you, but put out Buffet tables, and punch bowls, birthday cakes and cookies etc., as your guests will want to eat and the buffet tables and punch bowls are filled up by your caterer if you order one.
ENTERTAINMENT??
Make this the biggest area in your house, put DJ decks and dance floors,bubble blowers, and basically anything that will entertain people. If not people will get bored and flop about the place. If you are tight for cash buy a big TV and Sofas and stereo.
AM I READY TO PARTY?
Before you throw your parties, you should spend time getting your sims moods as high as humanly possible ans they won't be able to sleep or go to the toilet during the party. Then hire a Caterer, they are expensive but it is money well spent. Then get on the phone and throw a party.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PARTIES??
Well a Random 5 guests in your neighbourhood will show up...maybe more. They will enter your house, help themselves to somefood, then it is up to you to start DJing or dancing and getting everyone else invovled. Soon everyone should join in and people will be happy...its as simple as that really.
HOW DO I KNOW MY PARTY ROCKS??
Well, after half an hour game time, either a Mime, Gatecrasher or Celebrity will show up. a Mime means get this party started, Gate Crqsher means that it is OK but could be better and Celebrity means you are the king of Parties.
This is about all that is nessesary for you to know to get yourself started and going in this game, but there is plenty more to find out, so I will let you find that out.
