Master of Oympus is a brill game, but it took me a while to figure out how to play it !!!!
If you want to build a temple then this is how you do it :
1. First of all you need the right amount of marble, wood, stone etc...
2. When you have got suffient funds then select a temple from the menu
3. Then click on the map of where you want to consruct your temple
4. When your builders start to lay out the site, they sometimes stop working - This is easy to figure out
5. They've stopped building for one of the following reasons -
a) You dont have enough resources, therefore they dont have the materials to work with
b) Your town does not have enough food, therefore your workers are rebelling
c) Or if not, a war is going on, so your people are scared to work in the whole of your town
6. When finally you have built a temple ( which should take about 5-10mins ), there are certain functions you can set
7. Such as, if your temple was worshipping Ares ( God of War ) then you can take advantage of this and use him in battle, alongside you soldiers
8. Also because Ares is God of War then you will produce better weapons in the future
9. But in order for this you must remember to keep him happy, or else he might start a plague, kill your army etc... So you can do this by -
a) Always remember to make sacrifices often
b) Build more temples for him
c) Treat him kindly, and he will be to you
d) Respect him
e) Dont upset him by not sending him to battle
f) And do not build more temples for other Gods or Goddesses, otherwise he may feel jealous and left out
- But remember different Gods will like and react id different ways ! -
