Boss and main character guide

The following is a guide to the main and playable characters in the game.

Goku (as known as Gokuu, Gokuh and Son Goku)

Weird Fact: Goku's child and adult voice are done by a woman in the original japanese show.

Special Melee Attack (or when you old down A): Flurry Punch. This attack has Goku launch a barrage of punches at his opponent.

Special Energy Attack 1: The Kamehameha Wave: By holding down the B button, Goku will launch a powerful beam at his opponent. This attack is Goku's most famous move.

Special Energy attack 2: The Spirit Bomb: By holding down B, Goku gathers energy and when released, it can cause huge amounts of damage and momentarily stun nearby enemies.

Transformation Technique: Super Saiyan: Goku's speed, strength and power increase but it doesn't last long.

Verdict: Probably the best character in the game. Pity he isn't in it for long.

Vegeta (also known as Bejita and Vegita)

Weird fact: Despite once being a bad guy, Vegeta is the series second most popular character, after Goku of course.

Special Melee Attack: The Two-handed smash: After holding down A, Vegeta smashes both of his fists on his opponent. (Note, must
be taught by Master Roshi)

Special Energy Attack 1: The Big Bang: Vegeta launches a attack similar to Goku's spirit bomb, but it's no where near as powerful. Holding down B will make it more powerful.

Special Energy Attack 2: Energy Punch: This attack has Vegeta punch will energy filled fists. Note, this attack is only used when him and Trunks return from the Hyperbolic Time Chaber.

Transformation Technique: Super Saiyan and after training in the HyperBolic Time Chamber, he goes Ultimate Super Saiyan which
makes Vegeta more powerful but much slower.

Verdict: A good character and is very good with hand to hand combat.

Gohan (also known as Son Gohan)

Weird Fact: Originally, Gohan was to become the main character of DBZ, but because Toei thought they would lose Goku fans, they
kept Goku as the main character.

Special Melee Attack: Super Kick: Hold down A and Gohan launches a powerful kick.
Note, it can only be learnt with Master Roshi.

Special Energy Attack 1: The Masenko Ha: Hold down B and Gohan launches a bomb which can cause serious damage if powerful
enough.
Note, this can only be leart after the 3 years of training.

Special Energy Attack 2: The Kamehameha Wave: Same as Goku's.
Note, it is only learnt after training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Transformation Technique: Super Saiyan and in the Cell games, Gohan goes into a "Super Saiyan Rage" (Or Super Saiyan 2)

Verdict: Although he's small, he is very good. Keep him at high levels and it will come in handy.

Trunks (also known as Toruksiko and Mirai Trunks or Future Trunks)

Weird Fact: All of Trunks' familly are named after clothes. Dr Briefs, Bulma (women's bloomers) and Trunks' sister Bra (known
as Bulla in the english version)

Special Melee Attack: Cross Slash: Hold down A and Trunks' uses his deadly sword.

Special Energy Attack 1: Burning Attack: Press B and this attack stuns enemies for a short while.

Special Energy Attack 2: Sword Blast: Press B and Trunks launches energy attacks with his sword. Very powerful and quick.
Note, it can only be used after training with Vegeta in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Transformation Techniques: Super Saiyan and Ultimate Super Saiyan (he is much slower than Vegeta but he is also more powerful).

Vedict: A good character, but his Burning Attack will rarely be used, which is a shame.

Piccolo (also known as Piccolo Jr and Piccoro)

Weird Fact: Although Piccolo is one of the Wisest characters, he is also one of the youngest. Roughly, Piccolo is 6 years younger than Goku.

Special Melee Attack: Whirlspin: Hold down A and Piccolo does a powerful spinning punch.
Note, this can only be learny by Master Roshi.

Special Energy Attack 1: The Special Beam Cannon: Hold down B and Piccolo launches a corkscrew beam.
Note, this is only learnt after the 3 years of training.

Special Energy attack 2: The Scatter Shot: Piccolo launches 3 energy balls in 3 at the same time. Note, this is only learnt
after Kami and Piccolo fuse.

Transformation Technique: Super Namek (Piccolo takes his weighted clothing off and becomes faster, stronger and more powerful. It only lasts a short time though).

Verdict: Although probably unpopular, he is as good as trunks and the Special Beam Cannon is very good too.

Stats:

Health: 2970
Strength: 21
Power: 14
Endurance: 11

Tips: DO NOT FIRE ENERGY ATTACKS, HE ABSORBS THEM JUST LIKE IN THE TV SHOW!! You'll have to use hand to hand combat. Transform into a Super Saiyan and smash him into a wall. When he turns around, continue the onslaught.

Person Used: Vegeta or Piccolo (use whoever is stronger)

Stats:

Health: 2810

Health: 2910
Strength: 29
Power: 34
Endurance: 27

Tips: You can either use the same stragety or you can finally use energy blasts against her. When she gets to 1/2 of her health, she does the kick which broke Vegeta's arm in the show. But don't worry, you still won!!

Imperfect Cell

Person Used: Piccolo

Stats:

Health: 5210
Strength: 32
Power: 32

Health: 3550
Strength: 32
Power: 39
Endurance: 34

Tips: Use the same stragety as before. He may have lower Health than Cell, but he is a much better fighter. When he loses 1/4 of his health, the island is destroyed and the battle takes place on a newer, smaller island. Keep going, when he gets down 1/2 way, another cutscene. The battle continues. When he gets down to 1/4 health, the battle ends and a uninvited guest arrives. Here's a clue, his tall, green and looks like a bug. Yep it's Cell and 17's in deep DO-DO. : D

Strength: 39
Power: 41
Endurance: 46

Perfect Cell

Person Used: Trunks

Stats:

Health: 5500
Strength: 44
Power: 46
Endurance: 50

Tips: Cell now uses the Kamehameha Wave so becareful. Again, avoid Super Saiyan as Trunks is even slower. Use the same
techniques and when he goes to 1/2 health, a small speach begins. He's health returns and the battle begins again. Get him half way down again and Trunks gives up. Cell than announces The Cell Games.

General Tao Pai Pai

Person Used: Goku

Perfect Cell Part 2

Person used: Goku

Stats:

Health: 6500
Strength: 50
Power: 55
Endurance: 60

as it wastes to much energy. When he's down by a 1/4, he destroys the ring and now it's a fight to the finish. Keep going and when he's down to 1/2 his health the battle ends and Goku gives up!

Perfect Cell Part 3

Person Used: Gohan

Strength: 46
Power: 50
Endurance: 46

Perfect Cell Part 3

Person Used: Super Saiyan 2 Gohan

Stats: The same but he seemed a bit faster

Tips: Gohan is now a killing machine. Cell should be no trouble. Don't waste your energy though. When he's down to a 1/4of his health, the battle ends.

Perfect Cell Part 4

Person Used: SS 2 Gohan

Health: 8230
Strength: 60
Power: 59
