Retro Game Walkthroughs for The Getaway (PlayStation 2)

The 1st mission.
shortly after you wife go shot Mark Hammond will get into the nearest car. When they game loads do not take you hand of X. But sometimes you need to when going around tight corners. Avoid the traffic by driving on the right side of the road, espially on the bridge. keep on following the little red dot. when you are at the end of the bridge, hit the brakes to swing around the corner, you will most probaly hit into some railing but it is OK. As long as you dont have any more major hits. You will then follow the car on a long road.. Then the Red Porsche will pull into a sharp turn (beware of this) You may or may not get a beeping noise, this means hurry up. Follow the car around the next bend and WHALA You have completed the 1st bit of the mission.
2nd part
This part is quite difficult, Press triangle to get your gun/s out. I would get into the red car. And when you hear a voice saying "its him!" wait for the two baddies to come out of the front door and run them over. Then get out of you car. Watch out for the guy on the banister with an AK. Shoot the barrels below the banister to blow it up. The man will fly of the banister, and you can colct his gun (it is alot better than your pistols.)walk into the door with your automatic aim on (R1) and keep pressing square. WATCH OUT FOR THE GUY WITH A SHOTGUN because two bullets will kill you. Once you have cleared the area go against a wall and leave him to rest, he will recover full health! Go into the 2nd part with beer and fags, go against the wall and kill all the people that pop out behind craters. Through the next door and up the stairs. You will hear some people talking. By now you should have full health and maybe the shotgun. Run through the next door and duck behind a mini wall kill everyone here. around the two corners. This part is hard because about 5 people come out at once, knock these ones out and carry on going norththrough to charlies room. Level 1 completed!
Level 2 (burning bridges)
follow the indicators untill you get the the restaraunt, run over the bouncer outside and get out of the car and then you gun. Shoot the two people at the top of the stairs and go into the 2nd compatment, watch out of the guy behind the bar he has a shotgun, you will need to wipe out everyone in the room. Recover your health. Head up stairs watch out for the guy. Using automatic aim shoot the hell out of everyone. You accidently shoot a lamp and the place catches fire. Wait till smoke fills the room and the fire bell goes off and run downstairs and out of the cafe. Watch out for the police. Grab the nearest car and drive like the wind, once you have shook of the cops you have completed the mission!
Level 3
It is a very long way to the art galery, so put your foot down. Once you are there make sure you have noy got your guns out. Go left and wait for a guy to move away from the stairs. Go up the stairs And keep on procceding through all the rooms killing everyone. HINT - keep resting. Once you reach some stairs kill all the people near the stairs and go down the next set of stairs. Watch out for the guy who looks like edgar davids! Knick his shotgun go down the next bit. Turn right and kill everyone, there is a guy with an AK. Be very cautious because this next part is very hard. Turn around the corner and you will get about ten people run at you shoot them all kepp on shooting. Once you have completed the area, find the dome.
Follow the indicators back to the pub.
Level 4
Drive very fast in the Lexus to the court house. Youre best bet is not to hit the van up the back but to ram in the side of it after a while you should knock him of the road.
Drive your fasstest back to the warehouse.
Level 5
Wait till the guy watching you moves away and sneak behind the crates. Keep on peeking around corners and be very cautious. There is one part where a man is by a door and another smoking a fag near another door. You need to get into the door closest to the right side of the wall. Go around the crate and
