Martian gothic is a third person sci-fi adventure game, you control three characters Kenzo, Karne and Matlock.
You can switch between each character and swap items to achieve your objectives, and uncover the secrets of the red planet.
I won't give away all the health and ammo pick ups, but all vital objects are mentioned in this walkthrough.




Chapter 1
----------

Begin by switching to Kenzo, he's the only one who can get past the decom doors.
Look in the helmet of the space suit and get the radio and talk to the other characters, you can take the booklet and photo out of your inventory and put them in the storage locker.
Go through the decom door and use the control panel to disinfect yourself, then open the far door and enter the 'Vita base'.

Turn right and go along the corridor, there's only one door you can go through, through it you will see a body, go past the locked 'Dorm 2' door and turn left at the T-junction, search the dead body here and get the 'Orange tag' and 'Microfilm', then listen to the microfilm.
Turn around and go through the door at the top of the corridor, you will notice a dead person floating in the air and blocking your path (strange)?
Use the orange tag to open the door on the right and enter the 'Base Director's Room'.
Go to the computer and use the microfilm you just found to voice activate the security system, look at all the files and release the lock to Karne's entry point, you can also use computers to save your game.

When you get off the computer the body across the room will come to life, so quickly go back out to the corridor.Go back past the body you got the orange tag from, then through the next open door.
On the wall you will see a storage hatch, this is the 'Broadway Storage Hatch', open it and take the health boost.
Carry on along this hallway, go past the heat fused door, search the second body you come across to find a 'Med key'.
Keep going until you reach a door that needs a green tag to unlock it, turn right then right again, carry on until you see another locked door with a vac-tube next to it.
Use the vac-tube and find the 'Ben Gunn 1' note, now switch to Karne.


Chapter 2
---------

Take the silver bullit and wrapper from Karne's inventory and go through the decom door, use the control panel and exit.
Turn left and go down the corridor past the dead body, Karne will notice his watch is reading '48:64'.
Carry on until the T-junction and turn left and walk up the screen until you find the 'Park Lane Hatch', enter the watch code 4864 to access the hatch and get the green tag health boost and antitoxin.

Go back to the door that needs a green tag, and use the tag you just found to enter the 'Rec Room'.
Take the Biosensor and get the pop-gun from the table, open the jewelry box on the other table and get the 'Study Drawer key', take note of the games chest, it needs something to unlock it.
Search the body for a green tag, but be careful, it becomes another zombie, so go back into the corridor.
Go back past the bodies again down to the T-junction, walk down the screen to the vac-tube, put the green tag into the tube and send it.

Switch to Kenzo and get the green tag from the tube, open the nearby green tag door and enter the 'Washroom'.
Get the vibro-scourer fromthe cubicle and search the body in the toilet, you will find a purple tag and 'Arboretum passcode', look at the code '3376'.
Go down the screen past the other body to the lockers,look in the lockers and take the standard green tag and 'Dorm 2,green tag'.
Go back to the vac-tube and send the purple tag and vibro-scourer to Karne.
Switch to Karne and take the purple tag and vibro-scourer, go up screen to the purple tag door and open it, this is the 'Study', use the drawer key to open the drawer on the left and get the blue tag, there's also a computer if you want to save.As you leave, a zombie will spring to life and drop a book on the floor, dodge the zombie pick up the book and run into the corridor.



Chapter 3.
----------

Put the pop gun and book in the Park Lane hatch for now, go down the screen and round to the door with the keypad, use the code 3376 from earlier and enter the 'Aboretum'.
Go to the right of the screen, search the body in the chair and get some ammo and 'Dorm 4,green tag', and a 'Babybug remote', there's also a suicide note.
As you move away the body will come to life and leave a gun near the chair, lead the zombie away from the chair then run back to get the gun.
Now head over to the left side of the Aboretum, shoot the zombie that's walking around and take the blue tag, piccolo gun and 'Tierney Microcorder'.
Listen to the microcorder to get the code to Matlock's decom door '2734', if you now go through the door at the bottom of the screen, the way is blocked by a creature called a 'Trimorph', you can't kill it yet so go back outside and along the corridor watching out for any zombie that may start to awaken.
Store the microcorder and babybug remote in the Park lane hatch, put the second gun you just found and green tag in the vac-tube and send.
Leave karne near the Aboretum door as this is a safe area and switch to Kenzo.
Take the piccolo and green tag and head back down the corridor and open the other green tag door, this is the 'Gym'.
Get the 'Deflated Mars Hopper' and search the hanging body for a green tag, look at the notes and take the 'Paper Clip'.
Go to the exorcise bike near the door, open it up and take the 'Drive Belt'.
Now go back to the Base Directors room, use the computer and select door controls, enter the code 2734 to open Matlock's door, save ans switch to Matlock.



Chapter 4
----------

Before leaving, open the storage locker and get the piccolo and ammo, put the photo, lipstick, contact lense and nicotine patch in the locker.
Go through the decom door, use the control panel then exit.
This area is 'Time square', turn right and go along the corridor until you find the 'Baker Street Hatch', open the hatch and take the hacksaw and ammo.
Continue down the corridor, search the body for a lighter and brown tag, use the tag to open the nearby door and go into the 'Chemical Lab'.
Save on the computer if you like, get the flask from the bench and biosensor from the sink.
Look in the vac-tube to find a Martian Rock, put the hacksaw in the vac-tube and send.
Switch to karne, get the hacksaw from the tube and head back into the Aboretum.
Over to the left side is a hut with a padlock on it, saw the lock off and go in and pick up the gloves and 'Weed killer Spray Gun', then take the spray cartridge.
Go back to the vac-tube and send the cartridge and both blue tags.
Switch back to Matlock, take the cartridge and put it into the nearby chemical combiner and use the computer to make Hydrochloric Acid.
Now send the Acid cartridge back to Karne.
Switch back to Karne, get the Acid cartridge and load it into the Weed gun, go back into the Aboretum, go to the room that the trimorph was blocking and use the weed gun on it.
When it's dead you can get a 'Respirator' and a Bicycle Pump from the shelf.
Go through the door into 'Recyc', there will be a huge fan in here and a little creature scuttling about.
Go to the computer and select 'Recyc', which shuts down the fan.
Now move over behind the fan and use the vibro-scourer on the dirty filter, go back to the computer and restart the fan to get the air system going again.
Another zombie will come to life, so shoot it and get the 'Oily Rag', Nail gun and some ammo.
Go back to the vac-tube, send the oily rag to Matlock, and the hacksaw to kenzo.
Switch to Kenzo, go to the vac-tube in the carpeted corridor and get the hacksaw, go to the washroom and cut the hand off the zombie on the floor ( lovely ).
Go back outside and send the MED key and severed hand to Matlock.



Chapter 5
---------

Switch to Matlock, put the flask into the chemical combiner and make some Nitro Glycerine.
Take the flask , exit the lab and go back down the corridor, turn right and look for a loose cable, use the cable with the oily rag, then the Nitro oily rag, now use the lighter and run away.
Turn right and head up the other corridor by the decom door, open the blue tag door, search the body for the 'Scarab'.
Head back to the lab entrance and enter the blue tag door to the left of the one with the 'X' symbol ( grey tag ), and enter 'Sterile 1'.

Shoot the zombie in here, search it for a Yellow tag, Blue tag, Green tag (Dorm 1), and a locker key.
Go back to the lab and send the yellow tag to Kenzo.
Switch to Karne and send the Respirator and bicycle pump to Kenzo as well.
Switch to Kenzo, make your way back past the Broadway hatch to the first corridor and open the yellow tag door.
After entering you have 10 seconds until you run out of air, so quickly put on the Respirator and go to the hole in the wall, use the dflated hopper with the hole and then use the bicycle pump to inflate the hopper to fix the leak.
Now go through the circular door and speak to 'MOOD' the base computer, eventually she will say that someone needs to fix the power cable.



Chapter 6.
----------

Switch to Matlock, look in the chemical lab locker,take the 'Receptor Panel', desk key and health boost.
Go to the door you blew up earlier and enter the 'Power Core', follow the room round to the left and use the severd hand to access the computer.
Now use the Arm Control to move the generator hood, then head clockwise around the computer to reach it, use the receptor panel on the generator hood, go back to the computer to use it again.Now use the Arm control to restore the power, shoot the zombie that pops up and take the health boost and 'Downing Street passcode 1010'.
Go back to the lab and send the desk key to Kenzo.

Switch to Kenzo, go to the Base Director's room, get the key from the tube and open the desk drawer to get the 'Silver bell'.
Go back and talk to MOOD again, when she's finished talk again to get a list of subject's, select Bulkheads and she's ask's for a password, read the Ben Gunn note 1 from earlier then talk to MOOD again, select Bulkheads again.
Now use the chair and you'll be taken to a virtual room, use the silver bell on the musiacl instrument in the corner to open the door.
Go through to the zen garden and find a flat rock, use this and select one of the bulkheads to raise them all, now return to the previous room and go to the front to leave the chair.

Go back to the floating body and shhot it down and search it for an Electronic Screwdriver, use the screwdriver on the duct panel on the far wall and get the Babybug RC Car.
read the note on the Babybug Car, notivce the door to the right that needs a white door tag, put Kenzo back in the MOOD room and switch to Matlock.

Leave the chemical lab and open the blue tag door to the right of the 'X' door, you are now in 'Carnaby Street', at the end of this corridoris the door to the 'Medical Bay', another sealed door and a broken panel.
Enter the medical bay and open the locker near the computer, take the health boost and 'Lichen', use the computer to listen to a recording and save if you like.
In the top left corner of the room is a blue tag near a chemical extractor, by placing the Lichen in the extractor and then using the computer, you can make your own health boost's.



Chapter 7.
----------

Switch to Kenzo and go back to where he started near the sealed bulkheads, go past the decom door and open the door on the corridor corner, go in and search the body for ammo, follow the passage to the Downing Street hatch, use the 1010 code to open it and take the normal screwdriver and more ammo, carry on along the passage, shoot the zombie and search it for the Green tag,Dorm 3.
Carry on until you reach the Dorm 3 door, go in and search the body near the vac-tube, pick up the Resonator and nail gun.
Leave through the other door avoiding the trimorph, through here are more zombies and some more doors, find the one that leads to a corridor with a view to the outside world, this is 'Lonely Street'.
Move forward and kill the zombies, search them and the storage hatch for a storeroom key, now go back to the start of this section and unlock the storeroom door.
Inside get the crank and use the code '3172' from Kenzo's stopped watch to open the metal box, then get the Psionara weapon and ammo.
Go back to Lonely Street and use the crank on the far door with the hole in the lock.
Going through here puts you near the first Dorm 4 door.



Chapter 8
---------

Switch to Matlock and go through Sterile 1 and past the raised bulkheads, carry on until you reach the Dorm 1 door and use the corresponding tag to open it and go in.
Take the note from Pickman and a Martian rock from the zombie that leaps off the bed.
Open the locker with the key and take the green tag, Dorm 1 .

Switch to Kenzo and go to the base Director's room, send the screwdriver and babybug to Matlock then return to the MOOD room and use the chair.

Switch back to Matlock and get the stuff from the tube.
Go to the shuttle bay entrance and open the first set of doors, then open the second set of doors, then run like hell from the trimorph that chases you and close the first set of doors .

Switch to Kenzo and go to the flat rock, go to the second map and the shuttle bay doors which will trap the trimorph.

Switch to Matlock and go to the duct outside the shuttle bay doors and use the Electronic Screwdriver, enter the duct and emerge in the shuttle bay.
Pick up the welder and the radio, get the grey tag from the body near the storage hatch, search the other zombies for green tag 1 and a blue tag, Dillinger and ammo, send the welder and radio to Karne.

Switch to Kenzo and go to Dorm 2 using the corresponding tag, get the Pumice stone from the shower and send it to Karne.

Switch to Karne and collect the welder, radio and Pumice stone.
Go to the kitchen and open it using the welder, once inside, talk to Ben Gunn and swap the radio and Pumice stone for a Red tag, now send the Red tag and drive belt to Matlock.



Chapter 9.
----------

Switch to Matlock and get the items from the tube, go to the lab access and open the grey tag door, this is 'Geo Lab'.
Use the computer to save if you want to, then set the rover to go to grid position C6.
Pick up the rock from the drawer to the right of the sculpture, when the rover returns take the rock it picked up, this should now give you three rocks and one shaped rock.
Put the unshaped rocks in the rock cutter, run Pickmans program on the computer to shape the rocks. Now use the four shaped rocks on the holes in the sculpture.
Now get the Resonator from Kenzo and use this on the sculpture.
Search the dead body in this room and take the 'Spiritus Remote Control'.
Go to lab access and use the red tag to open the 'Bio Lab' door and collect the white tag from the vac-tube.

Switch to Kenzo and go to the MOOD chamber, use the chair and enter the garden, put him near the flat rock ready to activate the duct doors.

Switchh to Matlock and open the white tag door near where the floating zombie was, this is 'Mai Lin's' room. Use the Spiritus remote to turn off the holographic fire and get the Black tag and a gun on the floor.
Open the jar and take the needle & thread then open the duct panel with the electronic screwdriver, enter the duct and start crawling for your life.
Once you've crawled through you will be in 'Harroway's' room, get the rainbow tag from the body and look at the rug to find a key.
Use the key to open the desk and get the passcode '3471', also before leaving, listen to journal 5 on the computer.



Chapter 10.
-----------

Gedt Kenzo to send the paper clip, then switch to Karne.
Collect the clip then use it to open the games chest in the Rec room.
Take the Magnetic Checker from the box, go to the Park Lane hatch and get the pop-gun, babybug remote and book you stored earlier.
Send the Magnetic Checker, babybug remote and book to Matlock.

Switch to Matlock, get the items and go to Dorm 3, use the checker with the babybug, you now need the babybug remote to drive the car into the hole in the wall and pick up the 'Spectrometre', drive the car back and retrieve the spectrometre.
Now make your way to Carnaby Street and use the normal screwdriver on the panel to release the door.
Get ready to run into the Medical bay because of the trimorph behind the other door.
Use one of the other characters to lure the trimorph from the decom area and along the corridor, once they are safely outside the door quickly switch to Matlock and run through decom and into the airlock.
Now use the Scarab on the door, use the airlock with the book to activate the airlock door, you now have about five seconds to open the decom door and get out before the trimorph runs back to attack you.
Doing this results in the trimorph being blasted into space.
Go into the airlock again and get the flare gun from near the body then go back to the corridor with the Black tag door and open it.
Go in and search the body for the 'Laser scalpel' and health boost, return to Bio Lab and use the Scalpel to cut through the Tendrils.
Enter the main part of Bio Lab and use the computer, enter the new code from Matlocks watch '2915' then listen to journal 3.
Now send the flare gun to Kenzo and the rainbow tag to Karne.

Switch to Karne and go to Harroway's room using the rainbow tag to get in, send the gloves to Kenzo, listen to journal 6 on the computer and use the door controls to access the 'Kremlin'.

Switch to Kenzo, get the flare gun and gloves and make your way to the Kremlin. Once there open the emergency hatch '0756' and get the flare bolts. Open the other hatch and take three sets of Day View Lenses.
Now go to the shuttle bay, open the door and shoot the trimorph with the flare gun.



Chapter 11.
------------

Go back to the shuttle bay corridor, get the lump of flesh using the gloves then send the Flesh lump and flare gun to Matlock.

Switch to Matlock and get her to open the microscope in Bio Lab and put the flesh inside.
Access the John Farr icon on the computer and run the microscope program.
Go to the Medical bay and take the three syringes from the desk plus one near the extractor, use one on Matlock to get a blood sample then send two to the vac-tube.
Now get the other two characters to send blood samples back to Matlock.

get Matlock to send the babybug and the remote to Karne, then go back to to the Bio Lab and put the three blood samples in the centrifuge and run the centrifuge program on the computer.
After doing this go to the Kremlin and use the Spectrometre on the painting stand behind the computer near the window.

Switch to Karne, get the babybug and remote, then go to the Kremlin and stand just inside the doors.
Equip the pop-gun and aim at the left hand button on the wall,position Matlock in front of the right hand button.
Get Karne to shoot the left hand button which accesses the Kremlin computer.

Switch back to Matlock and go to the Mining area, kill the trimorph with the flare gun, use the drive belt with the elevator shaft then send the flare gun and bolts to Kenzo.

Switch to Kenzo and go to Dorm 3, shoot the trimorph and put the flare gun, bolts and a set of day view lenses in a vac-tube.

Switch to Karne and go to the Kremlin computer, take the printout that appears after accessing the computer.
Now go to the mining area, take the explosives and detonator from the crate and use them together.
Get the items from the vac-tube at the base of the elevator, use the day lenses so you can see in the dark and make your way to storage box 1 in the pit chamber and get the spanner.
G o to the Arena and use the spanner on the generator cable, take the palmtop from the hut, take the Artifact from the storage box outside the hut and put the printout in the storage box.
Now go to the 'Obelisk' area and take the dead battery from the storage box, it can be charged in the generator and used to power the palmtop.



Chapter 12.
-----------

Move towards the tomb until you're near the trimorph, then lure it away from the pillar, now run quickly to where the trimorph was and use the Artifact with the pillar then get out of the way of the returning trimorph, which will change colour because it's armour has gone and can now be killed, so shoot it with the flare gun, return to the tomb and take the charged Chorus.
Now go to the cathedral and use the altar with the charged chorus, get off of the alter quickly and use the altar with the green tag 4 which takes the colour away.
Pick up the charged green tag 4 with the babybug, return to the Obelisk area and put the charged green tag into the vac-tube.
Go back to the tomb and get into the crane, use the control panel and stay in the crane.

Switch to Kenzo and go to Dorm 3, get the green tag 4 from the tube then go to Dorm 4 and use the tag to enter.
Inside this room everything's black and white, use the keypad and type the code, grey, dark grey,grey, light grey, white, dark grey.
Use the second keypad and type code '5637'.
Take and examine the note to get airlock code '9689', go to the unused decom chamber near Lonely Street, use the Psionara to kill the ghost, enter airlock code, and use the airlock door to go out onto Mars.
Pick up the hourglass, then walk near the grave to awaken 'Whittaker', knock Whittaker out of the sky using the Psionara.
When he's stopped talking knock him to the ground, search him for some sand, use the sand with the hourglass then go back to Dorm 4.
Now use the hourglass and the colour returns to the room so you can see the heart of stone.
Pick it up and send it to Matlock.



Chapter 13.
-----------

Switch to matlock, take the heart of stone to the kitchen and get Ben Gunn head from the cooking area, now go to the Bio Lab and use the head with the corpse.
Now use the needle with the corpse, and lastly use the heart of stone with the corpse.
listen to Ben Gunn's animated corpse, take the flesh heart and return to the mining area and call the elevator.
Go to the tomb and use the flesh heart with the niche which will drain thefluid away from the alien body then use the platform.

Switch to karne and use the winch to hoist Matlock over the coffin with the alien body.

Switch to Matlock and use the Laser scalpel on the chest sac, then use the remaining syringe on the chest sac to get the milk sample.
Go back to the Bio Lab and put the milk sample into the thermaliser, run the thermaliser program, then run the microscope program, then the centifuge program to complete the vaccine.
Use the vaccine on Matlock and send the other two to karne and Kenzo.

Switch to Karne and go to the pit chamber, shoot the trimorph with the flare gun then before planting the explosives get one member of the team in the shuttle and the other just by the bay doors.
Use the explosives on the fissure.
Now run back to the elevator, use the elevator and run to the shuttle bay, all three characters will be in the shuttle bay now, they get into the shuttle to be informed by MOOD that one of them must go and pull the manual overide lever to release the shuttle bay doors.....and you choose which one !
