Virtua Tennis 2 Walkthrough

This is an original guide to Virtua Tennis 2 on the Playstation 2, featuring biographies of all the players, and all the information you do and don't need to know about career mode.

Tournament

You can either play a singles or doubles tournament in Virtua Tennis 2, with each stage at a different arena.

Exhibition

In exhibition mode you can choose to play either single or doubles. Doubles matches have to be either men's doubles, women's doubles or mixed doubles.

Players

There are sixteen players featured on Virtua Tennis 2, excluding your created players and bonus characters King and Queen. Eight of the players are female, half of those from the US and there are also eight men on the game.

World Tour

World Tour is a chance for you to compete through tennis seasons with two created players, aiming to boost your ranking and win competitions in your quest to purchase items from the five in-game shops.

Create a Player

When you start World Tour Mode you have to create a male and female player, choosing between four faces per gender, as well as hairstyles, clothes and other apparel like wristbands and hats plus you can choose if your creation holds the racquets with either one or both hands.

Location: Egypt
Aim: Return a ball to a disk to turn it over! Also, if you turn over any two discs in the same row or column, all discs in between the two will turn over!

Pin Crasher

Aim: Just like bowling, serve to knock down the pins!

Prize Sniper
Type: Serve
Location: USA
Aim: Serve a ball and hit an item! Luxurious items are high points!

Stomp Man

Aim: Return the balls to the wall and step on as many cans as you can!

Tank Attack

Aim: Return the yellow balls and beat the red boss tank!
