Creating the Perfect Park:

Ok, since all the basics are covered in the manual, I'll just give some tips that helped me acheive a 5 star park. First of all, you need a good combo of dinosaurs:

1. You should have an enclosure that contains 1 (or two, depending on their fercocity) carnivore. The carnivore should be the one you have with the most stars. To really please the visitors, you should always make sure you release a harmless herbivore into the enclosure for your carnivore to kill. This herbivore should be either carnivore's favourite prey, or at least from the same time period. Once you've done this, change the name of all the attractions around it to 'Terror Dome', 'Thrill window', or 'Thrill platform'.

The best combinations in my park have been:

Tyrannosaurus + Edmontosaurus (The Thrill Seekers go nuts with joy when the Rex attacks the Edmonto. Dino Nerds usually get impressed too.)

Velociraptor + Edmontosaurus (Again, this really makes Thrill Seekers happy. Dino Nerds sometimes like it as well.)

Dilophosaurus + Dryosaurus (There should be several Dilos in the enclosure. The Thrill Seekers and Nerds love this combo)

2. Another essential attraction is a Herbivore display. Make a really large enclosure, and put two herds of dinosaurs into it. As long as the dinosaurs are Friends/From the same time period, Fun Lovers will love this display. Just make sure you never put a carnivore there. The herds should each be about 6 dinosaurs strong, giving you a whopping 12 dinos in one huge enclosure. My best combos for this have been:

Tricerotops + Torosaurus (This is probably the best combo I have. It's loved by Fun Lovers, Mainstreams, Thrill Seekers and Nerds)

Parasaurolophus + Corythosaurus (This one's ok. But if you put in two brachiosaurus, it will attract tons of visitors)

Stegosaurus + Kentosaurus (Almost as good as the Trike/Toro combo)

3. Another great addition to any park is the Battle Zone (my own name for it). This is a fairly small enclosure, into which two large dinosaurs are released. If you get the right species, they will fight and kill each other. This means that you'll to keep replacing one of them, but it's worth it. You could make enough cash from this display alone, the Thrill Seekers will swarm around it. My best combos have been:

T-Rex + Spinosaurus (The best combo to fight. They work best if they are released at the same time. If you have these two dinos, the Battle Zone is an essential addition to your park)

T-Rex + Triceratops (Another good combo. These two will have a longer fight, so need less replacing, and are therefore cheaper to maintain.)

Spino + Brachiosaurus (A real clash of titans! You should go with these two if you're low on cash and don'y want to replace dinos that much, because this fight will take a long time, and still keep Thrill Seekers happy.)

4. Aside from these three, any other enclosure should just include your favourite dinosaurs, as there are no more essential displays. I've always acheived a 5 star qickest when I have all three of the above (Battle Zone, Herbovore display, and carnivore display) and one or two displays just for fun. Aside from getting the right dinos, you need to make sure they are all immunized and don't escape!

Unlocking Site B:

If you are tired of making parks, and want to see your creations roam free- you need to unlock Site B. To do this, you must complete all 10 missions and Tutorials. Tutorials are unbeleivably easy, so I'll only guide you through the missions:

Mission 1: A Picture Is Worth 100 Points
Mission Type : Safari
Objectives : Achieve 100 Points
Notes : You only get 10 photo shots. This level is simple, and you can basically take pictures of any dinosaur. Try and get groups of them together in a shot, and get a variety of dinosaur species in your shot(s) as well to maximize your point score. You don’t need to take shots of anything specific, so use that to your advantage.

Mission 2: When Carnivores Attack!
Mission Type : Ranger Attack
Objectives : Retire All Carnivores (Total: 13)
Time : 4 Min.
Notes : Patience is a virtue in this level, since it’s probably the first time you’ll have done this. Use the shot zoom-in (square button) to get more accurate shots. You’ll have no problem with the larger predators, like the T-Rex, but the raptors are more annoying. You’ll end up having to go back to the Ranger Station at least once, to reload on bullets, but be quick about it, since the time seems to fly by.

Mission 3: Time To Get Moving
Mission Type : Dino Muster
Objectives :
- (Optional) Retire the Tyrannosaurs (Total: 4) Before They Can Harm the Herbivores
- Herd at Least 5 Edmontosaurs Into the Muster Area
- Herd at Least 5 Parasaurs Into the Muster Area
Time : 9 Min.
Notes : Patience is what you need in this Mission. Without it, you’ll be screaming at the computer, and understanding why Nedry said, “No wonder you’re extinct”. It’s smart to kill the rexes, so they don’t attack your herbivores during muster. Use the map and radar screen to help you find where the dinosaurs are, and your location, so you know which way to muster the herbivores into the Muster Area. The parasaurs won’t give you much of a problem in herding, since they move quickly and stay on course. The Edmonts, on the other hand, are extremely slower, and have the tendency to stop, and most of the time: Turn around. But don’t frustrate (although you will) over it, and don’t whip out that rifle and start sniping down the herbivores just yet.

Mission 4: Dinosaurs and Weather
Mission Type : Safari
Objectives :
- Gallimimus Photo (Heatwave)
- Dryosaurus Photo (Heatwave)
- Stegosaurus Photo (Heatwave)
- Ceratosaurus Photo (Heatwave)
- Corythosaurus Photo (Rainstorm)
- Homalocephale Photo (Rainstorm)
- Velociraptor Photo (Rainstorm)
Notes : This is pretty simple. Just take one picture of each species of dinosaur during the designated weather change, and you’ll zip through this mission. Easy as pie!

Mission 5: Rescue the President
Mission Type : Ranger Attack
Objectives :
- Retire All the Rampaging Dinosaurs (Total: 18)
- Rescue the President
Time : 6 Min., 30 Seconds
Notes : This is one mission you’ll need you whip out your Ranger sniping skills on. As always, the larger predators will be easily taken care of, and the raptors… Well, still pesky. Use the radar screen to your advantage, and quickly load up on bullets if you run out. Once you’ve killed all the dinosaurs, you’ll see a small scene where the President casually walks out of the Visitor’s Shelter, as if nothing’s happening. Switch to rescue mode, and save him.

Mission 6: Danger Club Photo Safari
Mission Type : Safari
Objectives :
- Achieve 200 Points
Notes : You only get 10 photo shots. This level is easy, depending on your shots. Keep your distance from larger predators, since they can and will come after the vehicle if you’re nearby. Catch shots of carnivorous dinosaurs fighting, playing, hunting, eating, etc. to get points. Taking shots of herbivores will get you no where, and when multiple active carnivores are in a picture, the higher the point score. Don’t get repetitive on shots, which means: Don’t take shots of the same dinosaur doing the same thing, over and over again, or you only get single-digit points.

Mission 7: Rescue Hammond
Mission Type : Ranger Rescue
Time : 5 Min.
Objectives :
- Collect the Rifle
- Rescue Hammond
- Get Hammond to Safety
Notes : Use the Island Map to help maneuver your way to the Ranger Station. When you get there, drive into the blue arrow to collect the Rifle. Now (using the map), find the Visitor’s Shelter and head straight to it from the Ranger’s Station. It’s a pretty simple drive and easy to find. Kill any rexes guarding the area, and drive into the next blue arrow to pick up Hammond. Now, turn around and head down the pathway and to the right to find the park entrance, and the final blue arrow. Dodge the Spino here and go for the arrow.

Mission 8: Cleanup Operation
Mission Type : Ranger Attack
Time : 6 Min.
Objectives :
- Shut down all hatcheries by shooting their power supplies (Total: 3)
- Retire All Carnivores (Total: 15)
Notes : You get 40 shots. Head to the nearest enclosure when you start off, and destroy the first power supply (easily spotted next to Hatchery). Kill the carnivores here, and fly over to the Spinosaur enclosure. Destroy the power supply and eliminate all the Spinosaurs. Restore your bullets at the Station, and head over to the Raptor enclosure. Destroy the hatchery and snipe out all the raptors. This is actually easier than the other Ranger Attack missions, and you don’t have to worry about a short timeframe.

Mission 9: The Amazing Maze
Mission Type : Dino Muster
Time : 13 Min.
Objectives :
- (Optional) Retire all the Carnivores (Total: 7)
- (Optional) Destroy All of the Avoidance Beacons (Total: 5)
- Herd at Least 4 Ouranosaurs to the Muster Area
- Herd at Least 4 Edmontosaurs to the Muster Area
Notes : This level is extremely frustrating. Take out the carnivores and beacons first, and then begin the herding of the herbivores. Use the Island Map as your friend, and find a great route to the Muster Area through the fencing. Constantly check it as you herd, so you can redirect your muster. The Edmonts are still stubborn and slow, but the Ouranosaurs are quicker, and you won’t have much of a problem getting them to the Muster Area. Be patient, it’s ok to be frustrated.

Mission 10: Jurassic Park Calendar
Mission Type : Safari
Objectives :
- Dinosaurs Drinking
- Dinosaurs Eating
- Dinosaurs Sleeping
- Dinosaurs Hunting
- Dinosaurs Fighting
- Dinosaurs Playing
- Achieve 350 Points
Notes : You need two of each type of photo before that objective is complete. Taking the same picture twice doesn’t count, so you’ll need to find another species. This level is simple, but it’s hard to find Playing and Fighting, so don’t waste shots unless you think you’re right. For example, playing is at certain times when Dryosaurs all have happy faces and run around and around each other. Once you’ve gotten two of each, and have 350 points, you beat the last mission and unlock Site B mode.
