Level 1 : Parisian Back Streets

After the Cut-scene the level begins in an alley and it's raining. Lara's voice is the narrator that will guide you through the controls and your movements as needed along the way. Go straight forward into the doorway and get the chocolate bar.
Then, you need to climb onto a nearby bin and then jump and grab the edge of the balcony and climb up. Next you have to jump across a small gap to the next balcony. Go forward a bit, and there you'll find a ladder. Climb up the ladder and get off onto
the ledge and go through an opened window. Inside open the two drawers. There'll be money and a chocolate bar there. The wardrobe is locked but don't worry you will be able to open it later if you want to. Then go back out of the window and to your left there will be a ladder. At the top you'll find some antique dubloons at the back, but it'll probably glint in your eye anyway! Then walk to the edge of the balcony and jump to the other side. Then go left and you should be able to climb over the small fence. Get the chocolate bar and then head back. Walk to the far corner and perform a hop to the other side by holding R1 and pressing O. Then walk straight forwards to the drainpipe and start climbing up it (quickly). Then shimmy along to your right and drop on the roof. Go to the far corner and jump back on the ledge. Shimmy until you are pretty much in the middle of the gap in the fence and pull yourself up. If you want try the door but it won't open. You need to go to the top left corner of the building and pull the barrel away from the side. Then drop down to the small balcony below, pick up the crowbar and go back up again. Go to the locked door and break the padlock and then open it. Inside a wardrobe which you can just open there will be a new gun (MV-9mm). Also if you have a lot of time you can go all the way back to the open window and break open the locked wardrobe. Inside you will find a necklace (valuable later on in the game) Go back out of the window and back to the small balcony you found the crowbar on. You will be able to shimmy all the way along the side until you get past the iron door. Press the stealth button (L2) and sneak up behind the guard and kill him! Then get the key which is on the table and open the iron door with it. Then climb down the ladder and the level is complete.

Level 2 : Derelict Apartment Block

After the Cut-scene where Lara barricades the door pull the cabinet near to it infront of the door and that'll buy you some time.
Now head up the stairs and eventually the police will break in throwing tear gas all over the place so you've got to work fast!
Don't bother with going to the boarded up doors on the 1st floor
because it will just waste time. So keep going up and there is a locked door on this level. Jump the gap in the stairs and if you don't think that you are going to make it hold X and you won't fall down. The next floor is really tricky, take a run up on the landing and jump, then hold X to grab onto the edge and pull yourself up.
The next landing has some handy health pills so take them and keep on running. You need to drag the wardrobe away from the stairs to get to the next landing. So, when you are there, go to the doors and thrust yourself into it giving you a upgrade of your upper body. Don't forget to open the cabinets as inside you find some V-Packer cartridges and some batteries. Back on the landing there should be some Bandages then head towards the next landing which is caved in, but you can pull the crate as if you were going to push it down the stairs, get on it and jump then hold X and you'll grab onto the upstairs railing. Pull yourself up and go through the door on your right and for a while the gas has stopped. Pick up the lift key and find the apartment key on the wall. Then pull the lever at the back of the room and that'll get the elevator working. Go to the 2nd floor and open the locked door with the key and you will find another gun (Vector R35) in one of the drawers and in the other drawer is a chocolate bar. Don't forget to open the cabinet as well. Go back up to the top (Lv.4) and back into the lift room but go straight ahead through a door to the next level.

Level 3 : Industrial Rooftops

You start by a ladder so climb up on the platform and mount the ladder. When you get to the top Lara pretty much spells out what you have to do. Go under the wire and face the direction that you want to go and jump onto the wire. Don't panic when the spotlight comes up because the helicopter won't shoot until you are on the other side. Press Triangle to tuck your legs in when Lara wants you to and keep on going. When you get on the other side run straight behind the boxes and pick up the plasters. You now have to slide down the roof and the helicopter won't shoot you while you are behind the crates. Look down with the right analog stick and slide towards the door. When you land you lose a bit of life so use the plasters and you'll be better again. Barge through the door and pick up the Antique dubloons on the floor. Then continue to the next room. On a box you'll find a chocolate bar and by the broken lockers is a magazine. Kick open the door next to the box and climb down the ladder. Drop the rest of the way and go left and then left. You stop at a fence so turn left again and pick up the Large medipack. Go all the way back to the ladder and then pull the box next to it away from the wall and then towards the step, this will give you a lower body upgrade. Then continue in that direction until to your left there is a barrier with a gap underneath it. Crawl under it then turn left to get another Large Medipack. At the back of the room should be a large grey box with 4 large black spots on it. Climb ontop and jump to the broken ledge across (jump then hold X). Then you'll see a long jump which needs a run-up. Jump then hold X, grab onto the ledge and shimmy to the side you can climb up. (It can take a couple of tries!) Then climb the ladder up and pick up the V-Packer cartridges. Hop the gap and go through the door. Go right and open the door carefully. Don't fall down or you'll have to Load Game. Run-up and jump (It shouldn't be too tricky). Go up the stairs and open the door. Go up the ladder, and through the door. Run to the top left corner of the roof and watch the cool cut scene. The level is now complete.

Hi, as always i like to write all my walkthroughs in different parts. This part of the Walkthrough will include Level 1 Parisian Back Streets and probally some other stuff too. The second level will be produced sometime nnext week. If you have any questions relating to this game E-mail me [email protected]

Level 1 - Parisian Back Streets
Don't worry you only have a Rottweiler and a Gendarme to take care of in this level
An upper body level 2 upgrade can be achieved too. All you need to do is use a crowbar to open a roof hut.

Your main mission is to get to Margot Carvier. Run forward under the door and find a chocolate bar. (revives a short amount of health) Now climb onto the bin in the far corner. Climb up onto the balcony and jump across the gap. There is a ladder, but don't climb it yet. There is a large health pack (revives a lot f health) across the alley by a lit door. Take a good run and jump towards this. Now you can go back and climb up the ladder.

You will see an open window, climb in there and loot for things. The large closet is locked, return here with a crowbar later in order to obtain an expensive necklace, but you cant wear it, instead you can pawn it.

Go back out and climb the second ladder and follow the wooden ledge, don't forget to pick up the gold. Now when you can, run and jump across to the other roof. Immediatly turn left over the fence to get another chocolate bar. Continue along the rooftop and continue along the pole then shimmy to your right and land on the small roof. Back up again keep going right and then up onto the biggest roof. This is as high as you'll be going in this level....

Head over to the gap in the wire fence, look down to see a crowbar, grab it open the roof hut and then you know what to do with it. Be careful when backtracking. Now all the way back over to where you found the crowbar. You now have the strength to shimmy all the way left, but don't be foolish and waste time.

Sneak up behind the Gendarme and take him out. Nick his key and return to the gate back the way. You can now open the gate. Climb down.

Well done and good luck.

Proffesor Werner Von Croy - an archaeologist and adventurer. Werner was lara's mentor and Lara his diciple. As you will know from TR 4. He has been troubled by and stranger and was strangely murdered....

Gendarme Security - Weakness, lightly armed pathetic hand to hand skills, use a fast firing weapon or fists.

Chocolate bar - restores a short amount of health

Large Medi Pack - restores large amount of health

Crowbar - used to bust into things

Remember to E-mail me if you have any problems.
I hope you found this useful and i hope you find the other ones useful too.
