HITMAN CONTRACTS

I rented this game a few weeks back and thought it was brilliant but quite hard. I only got the first 3 levels done and so in this walkthrough I will only write about the first 3 levels. If I ever buy this game I might write about the other levels.

Firstly, here are a few tips to help you get a Silent Assassin rating on each stage:

1. When you are in disguise don’t get too close to any enemies as they will recognise you. They are useful up to a certain distance but not reliable up close.

2. Don’t kill a civilian under any circumstances as this will get you a bad rating.

3. Use the sight on your sniper rifle to spot people in the distance or your binoculars to pick out the very distant enemies or objects.

4. Change your outfit regularly. Anytime you come across a change of clothes use them as guards will soon figure out that you are an impostor.

5. Conceal your weapons and use them only when necessary. If you are seen with a weapon then you are sure to be caught. Small weapons can be hidden but larger ones like the sniper rifle need to be dropped when entering a place with loads of people in it.

6. If you come across any random objects pick them up as no matter how stupid they seem now they will have a use later on.

7. Kill only when necessary. If you can get by a guard without killing him do it. Stay hidden and only move when it’s safe.

8. Your stealth indicator is a good indication on how well you are doing. It’s quite sensitive and if someone suspects you then it will move quite rapidly and you will need to reposition yourself.

MISSION 1- ASYLUM AFTERMATH

Right, the first thing you do is pick up the car key from the dead doctor and then look at your map. It shows a point of interest in the bottom left corner in the map. Located in this room are 4 syringes and across the corridor in the other room you will find a kitchen knife. You will need both of these so go get the syringes first and use one on the man with the kitchen knife to get it. The next thing you do is take the elevator to the first floor. Look at the point of interest on your map and you will find the inmates clothing there. Change into it and go back to the elevator and go to the second floor. You will find another set of car keys here for some reason, pick them up. Keep going until you reach the stairway. Go down these and a SWAT man will tell you to go into the lab which is the door behind him and on the left. Go in and head up the spiral staircase. Then use the knife or syringe on him (whatever tickles your fancy). Around the corner from the guard cabinet with a sniper rifle in it. Pick it up then go out to the balcony and shoot the searchlight on the police car. Do the same thing on the balcony to the right. To finish the mission go down the ladder and towards the car.

MISSION 2 - THE MEAT KING’S PARTY

Firstly change into the dead mans clothes and drop all your dangerous weapons . Now go out and close the doors by pressing the button on the side of the van and head round to the entrance of the party. After the guard checks you for weapons go into the club and go through the first set of doors. Then head over to the door to the right of the stairs in front of you. If you then look at your map you will notice there is a point of interest mark quite close to you. Get there by going through the guarded doors and work your way round until you reach the locker room where you will find the object which is a change of clothes. Be careful of a waiter close by who will get suspicious of you if he sees you.
After you change into these clothes head to the bar. Again be careful as the place is full of guards although the shouldn’t be suspicious of you if you have done what I said so far. Go up to the bar and talk to the barman then pick up one of the opium pipes. You will then get a message saying that someone is looking for one of these pipes. So take a look at your map and you will see a red circle in one of the rooms. Find Puscus then after placing the pipe next to him wait around until he falls asleep. As soon as he does steal his silenced handgun and make sure no one sees you then head out. Stand somewhere where you will be quite hidden and you can do this by constantly checking your map for suitable positions and do this until Puscus begins to move. Then follow him and his guard to the bathroom and wait until the are standing beside each other at the mirrors. Then as fast as you can kill the guard the Puscus for the next objective.
Next you need to go up to the first floor and don’t forget to put your gun away. Check your map and head North and go up the first set of stairs you meet. Check your map again and you will notice another point of interest mark on the left side of this area and you will also notice the symbol for an enemy around the area. You will soon come across the enemy who is a butcher by the way and simply dispose of him using your new handgun. You will soon come across the dead body of the missing girl so pick up the evidence which happens to be a beautiful rotted arm. Now go back to the top of the stairs where you will see a guard by a door. Kill him. Hide the body and go through the door he was guarding. You will reach a rooftop with a door to the front of you and a ladder to the right.
Take no notice of the door and climb the ladder to the metal walkway above it. Follow this until you come to a window which you can open. Go through it and you will find some man lying on his bed. Waste him. When you have dealt with the Meat King go back round the walkway and down the ladder. To finish the level leap onto one of the trucks and that's it.

MISSION 3 - THE BJARKHOV BOMB

When the level begins stay where you are until the man comes into the back of the plane and picks up the crate. When he turns and faces away from you run up and kill him from behind. Hide his body, steal his clothes and lift the crate of groceries he was carrying as if you enter the main building empty-handed the guards will be very suspicious. So when you leave the plane go right and into the building. Then go left into the kitchen and throw the laxatives into the soup. If you talk to the informant here and he will tell you where to plant the bombs on the submarine later in the mission. Fuchs will need the toilet due to the effects of the laxative in the soup he eats so if you wait in the bathroom you will be able to silently kill him.
Once you put on Fuchs clothes head down and onto the small train. Press the button to make it work and stay on the train until you reach the end of the track. Once you get off head down straight onto the boat (the guards will let you on as you are wearing Fuchs clothes.) Walk around the boat until you reach the top level and you will be checked for weapons so make sure your not carrying any. Once checked go through the door to your right and meet the commander. You will chat for a moment before he goes to prepare some drinks. Once his back is turned kill him.(You can use the gun sitting on the table.) At this point you will have completed two objectives. Now just make your way off the boat.
Now, if you look at your map you will notice a large building to the top left corner. Go to it and when you enter go right and pick up the radiation suit. You will find in one of the cubicles. You need this to enter the submarine so go down there and when you reach about halfway you will find an entrance .You will see some workers but ignore them and go straight through and you will find the bombs and the detonator. Place the three bombs on the submarine where the guy told you at the start and once you are a safe distance away detonate them. Now head back to the plane and try and avoid the guards at all costs. If you bump into a few it’s likely they will ignore you but be prepared. Mission accomplished.

CZ2000 Pistol - On various dead clones throughout the asylum, and on the table in the room before you get to the elevator in the basement.

Minigun - Carried by an asylum patient behind a locked door that can only be opened with the keycard obtained from Lee Hong's desk in the Wang Fou mission, and can only be opened when replaying the level.

Dual Desert Eagles - Behind a second locked door that can only be opened with the keycard obtained from Lee Hong's desk in the Wang Fou mission, and can only be opened when replaying the level.

Kitchen Knife - Carried by an asylum patient who is using it to repeatedly stab a dead clone, and two on the second floor outside the elevator among the multiple dead bodies.

Syringe - There are four in the room across the hall from the knife weilding asylum patient, and one on the second floor outside the elevator among the multiple dead bodies.

Stun Gun - Carried by the asylum orderlies, also found on the second floor outside the elevator among the multiple dead bodies.

SPAS 12 - Carried by many SWAT, one on the second floor outside the elevator among the multiple dead bodies, and one in a room on the north side of the map on the 3rd floor.

AUG SMG - Carried by many SWAT, sometimes carried by an asylum patient who picks it up from a dead SWAT.

Dragunov Sniper Rifle - Carried by the two SWAT snipers in the outside courtyard.

SG220 .S Pistol - Carried by the non-sniper SWAT guy standing behind the police car in the outside courtyard.

Enforcer Sniper Rifle - In a cabinet in the second floor office closest to the elevator, in a cabinet in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor that lead to the ladder, on the body of a dead patient on the roof of the asylum where the jumper is, and in a room on the east side of the map on the 3rd floor.

The Meat King's Party:
Meat Hook - Obtained automatically at the start of the level.

Meat Cleaver - Carried by multiple butchers and the Meat King's brother, on the "chicken" table in the kitchen, and on a table in the room just south of the Meat King's room.

Kitchen Knife - Three in the kitchen, one stuck in a couch in the room just south of the Meat King's room, and twelve stuck in a stack of boxes in the southeasternmost room on the second floor.

CZ2000 Pistol - Carried by multiple guards.

MP9 SMG - Carried by multiple guards.

Dragunov Sniper Rifle - In the 1st floor butcher's room with the rotating meat rack on the ground next to the westernmost butcher.

Bolt Gun - In the 1st floor butcher's room with the rotating meat rack on the ground next to the column near the westernmost butcher, also one in each of the two 1st floor rooms containing the hanging horse carcasses located closest to the northernmost door leading to the exit point.

Silverballer .S - Carried by the Lawyer.

AK74 Carbine - Carried by most guards, available on the 1st floor of the transport ship in the room containing the bombs, also one in Bjarkhov's room.

Dragunov Sniper Rifle - In the Northwest corner of the Hangar, carried by the sniper on the 2nd floor of the transport ship, and in the corner of the barracks bathroom by the sink.

CZ2000 Pistol - Carried by the guard in the Airport service tunnel, by Fuchs, by Bjarkhov, by one of the guards outside Bjarkhov's room, and by one of the guards in the barracks.

Fire Poker - On a floor rack next to the guard in the mess hall.

Laxative - On the counter in the kitchen in the mess hall.

Bombs - Three on the 1st floor of the transport ship and three on the submarine.

SG220 .S Pistol - On the table in Bjarkhov's room.

Sawn-Off Shotgun - Carried by the Bartender, by one of the large muscular vest-wearing biker guards, by the Nazi helmet-wearing guard patroling the basement, and also available in the southeast room in the basement.

Pool Cue - Four at the pool tables in the bar.

Gold Desert Eagle - Carried by the Biker Boss.

Dragunov Sniper Rifle - In one of the lockers in the shooting range, also available in the southeast room in the basement.

CZ2000 Pistol - Carried by the terrorist guard that guards the gangplank to the ship, he also carries a GK 17 pistol.

AK74 Carbine - Carried by most terrorists

M4 Carbine - Carried by almost every SWAT, also available on the desk in the 2nd floor southwestern room of the northernmost warehouse.

R93 Sniper Rifle - Carried by the sniper on the roof of the southernmost warehouse.
