------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you have created and saved your Baller, this menu will displayed. It's also displayed if you select a previously saved baller from the Custom Ballers option. Use this menu to make changes to your saved, Customized Baller.

Attire, etc.
Keep your Baller looking sharp by changing his facial features, clothes and his bling. Select an item to view available (selectable) and unavailable items (in grey). Not all items are free, so the amount of Credits you'll need for a particular item is displayed. Here I walk you through the whole Rags to Riches mode. Everything that you can possibly know about the Rags To Riches mode is covered here.

This game mode is NBA Ballers' career mode where you can create a baller, then play games to earn Credits and prizes. You'll then spend those earnings to live the good life with mansions, cars, jewels, and even an entourage, but you'll need to earn it on the court!

Before you can get started, you'll need to Create or Load a profile. If you have a profile created already, select it to go to the Rags to Riches screen.
If you don't have a profile, select Create New Profile. Use the directional buttons to spell out the name of your profile, then select End. Select the new profile to go to the Rags to Riches screen.

The Play-Per-View screen is used to get an overview of your progression through the Rags to Riches story. It displays the current Tournament you're playing in, as well as past and upcoming tournaments. Press the directional buttons (left/right) to highlight each tournament. Information about each tour is displayed below.

-You can only select the current tournament you're involved in. You can't select previous or future tournaments. The Play-Per-View screen is a nice map of the tournaments you can use to check your progression.
-In Rags To Riches mode, your Ballers attributes automatically upgrade based on the way you play after the initial attribute assignment. For example, to be a better 3 pt. shooter, you must attempt and make a lot of 3 pointers.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Walkthrough Beginning
------------------------------------------------------------------

You open up with a cinema.

"Take a no-name kid, up from the streets, and put him up against the best. You know I'm talking about the NBA. Let him earn his bling all the way along, lets see if he's got what it takes. From rags to riches, the American Dream...reality TV."

-Un-named network executive.

Ok player, here it is. First, build a baller and try to fight your way up off the streets. You'll go from Rucker all the way to the phat cribs of the NBA's top ballers.

You'll earn your own bling, fashions, ink, crew, rides, and your very own crib.

But you have to earn it, you can't buy it. To get your skills up you must play to develop each skill. Shoot and score 3's to be a shooter. Block, steal and hold 'em down to be a defender.

All the stuff in R2R is unique. If you win this, your baller will be the most powerful player in the game. Then you'll really know if you're the best in the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------

After this, build your baller. Once you are done. You'll go to the tournament
page.

==================================================================
Tournament: Rucker Tournament
Premiering this month: Ace, Blaze, Chaos, Doc, Frosty, Ghost
This episode: "Streetball!"
Location: Rucker Park
==================================================================

First Baller: Ace
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Ace is your typical regular baller and you should have no problem beating him.
He's short, isn't strong, and doesn't really have range from three point land.
You should have no problem out rebounding him and this should be a very easy win.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Baller: Blaze
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Blaze is pretty tall and is a much different player than Ace. With his flaming shirt and his Lugz, he looks like he is a better baller than he really is.
Blaze doesn't have a jumper so don't worry about that. He's slow, but big, so don't rush your shots. Even though he may be a little better than Ace, he still isn't anything that you should have problems with.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Baller: Chaos
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Not only does Chaos look really cool in his all black, he isn't that bad of a baller. He's about the same size as Blaze, but he's a lot quicker and has a much better jump shot. He's not that great at rebounding though, but he can pick your pocket a few times if you don't pay attention. Still, this isn't that hard of a baller to beat, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with him.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fourth Baller: Doc
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Doc in his all white with a black sweatshirt on looks like he can ball. Doc has good dribbles and likes to go into the paint a lot. He's not that great of a perimeter shooter but don't leave let him have open shots. He's about 6'4" and has some trouble rebounding. I think that Chaos is better than him, so if you had no trouble beating Chaos, you shouldn't have a problem beating Doc.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fifth Baller: Frosty
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Frosty looks nice in his camoflauge pants and his yellow/white sweatshirt. He's the tallest of the guys yet in this tournament. I estimate him to be about 6'11 or 7 feet. Frosty's game is all about power, dunking, and blocking.
He's surprisingly hard to steal because he is so strong, and he can come out and block you like it's nothing. Also, he doesn't hesistate to throw it to his buddy on the side to help him with scoring. Frosty is pretty hard to score on due to his size because he doesn't allow you to go inside the paint. He's slow
though, so you can get around him with dribbles. Though he is a big guy and he's pretty dominating inside the paint, he still is very easy to beat.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Sixth Baller: Ghost
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Ghost is a really small guy that likes to wear all black. Take advantage of his height and his weakness by going inside. Ghost is all about dribbling and taking outside jump shots. Though he can dunk, he doesn't go inside the paint that much because of his height. He is by far the fastest of the ballers so far. Also, his shot is by far the nicest in this tournament. It's not a surprise he is the best because he is the last person in this tournament. Go inside on him, it's the easiest way to beat him.

------------------------------------------------------------------

After you win the tournament, you'll get some prizes.

You've racked up loads of loot! Take your pick.

Shoes:

Name: BB5000
Color: White/Gold

Name: Gamer
Color: Black/Silver

Name: JR Home-Schools
Color: Black/White

Name: Turbo 150s
Color: Blue/Silver/Black

After you select your shoes, you see how your attributes have upgraded. Mine upgraded all around the 5-9 stage.

Then you get a cinema where you are told about the dream opportunity of playing against Shaq, Kobe, Iverson, and other great ballers. If you missed out on it, you can view it at the Review Episode. It's called Ball Up!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Then go to Start New Tournament.

==================================================================
Tournament: Aluminum Tournament
Premiering this month: Anthony, Milicic, James, Parker, Marion, Stoudemire
This episode: "Youngbloods!"
Location: The Garnett Residence
==================================================================

First Baller: Carmello Anthony
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Well, this is your first shot at playing a true NBA baller. Carmello looks like a baller in his baby blue and he doesn't disappoint. Though Carmello dribbles, dunks, shoots jump shots, and rebounds, the thing he doesn't do is play defense. It's not hard to score on Carmello, but it's not easy to stop him from scoring. He likes to post up, but he doesn't hesistate to take a mid-range jumper. His three's aren't that impressive, but he doesn't miss his mid range jumpers. His dunks are off the hook, which makes Carmello the best player yet you have to face. He's not that hard to beat though because he doesn't play defense. I went in on him all the time, and had no problem dunking over him but it all depends what kind of baller you are.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Baller: Darko Milicic
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

It's ashame that Milicic can't play like this in real life. First off, I wish that he had blonde hair in this game like he does in real life. Wearing his Pistons jersey, Darko has no problem dunking and dribbling right past you.
Other than that, he doesn't really do much except block you. Milicic is all about his inside game, and pratically has no outside shot. He's not that good at defense, which makes him much easier to beat than Carmello. I beat Milicic with threes and dunks, but it all depends on the type of attributes your baller
has.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Baller: Lebron James
Game Rules: Play To 30, Win By 2, 1 Round,
No Time Limit, Find Hidden Moves
Special Rules Match! 1 Round First To 30 Wins
Fouls Will Not Be Recorded

Lebron, in his Cavaliers Jersey that you see all around the, mall looks like he came to ball. Too bad that he is one of the easiest guys to beat in this game so far. Lebron takes way too many threes which don't fall. His defense isn't that great, and when you take away his inside game, all he does is go out on the perimeter and shoot blanks. The only thing that he has going for him are his monster dunks, which are basically unstoppable. With no fouls being recorded, you can throw around Lebron like your little brother. Always try to throw him around and always be aggressive when trying to steal the ball.
By playing to 30, I think it's a lot easier to win because it gives you room for mistake. Lebron misses a lot of his outside shots, and if you shoot decent, you should be able to pull this victory out on your first try.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fourth Baller: Tony Parker
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Tony Parker is probably the best baller that you will have to play so far.
He's electrifying with his dribbles and he can do great dunks and layups. He doesn't shoot many outside shots, but when he does, there is a good chance that they will fall. His quick speed lets him go inside the paint all the time for easy dunks. The problem with Parker is that he's small, and can't rebound at all. Also, he can't play defense in the post, so once you get to the paint, it's not hard to score. He will steal the ball from you though when you try going inside. I beat Parker on mostly dunks and a few threes, but everyone has their own style of playing. The major thing is that you have to stay back when guarding him. If you don't, he will easily fly right by you and have an open lane to the basket.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fifth Baller: Shawn Marion
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Shawn Marion is really good in this game. He's a huge dunker, can play great defense, and can also hit his jump shots. The only thing thing is that he is a bit slow, so if you are quick enough, you can get around him. He's good at rebounding, so it's hard to get offensive rebounds against him. I beat him by the three and also by going inside. It's hard to stop Shawn, so to win, make sure that he doesn't stop you. With his great amount of skills, it's hard to slow Shawn down on offense. He may give you a little bit of trouble, but nothing that you're not already use to.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Sixth Baller: Amare Stoudemire
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Amare "No Jump Shot" Stoudemire has three things going for him. Monsterous dunks, huge blocks and ebounding. Other than that, there's nothing to him.
He took about six jump shots against me and only made one. All he can do is dunk over you, which is basically unstoppable. He's easy to juke around on the perimeter, but is hard to dunk over inside the paint. Make sure that you juke him out before going inside on him. Don't worry about giving him open shots,
because he won't sink them. He's not hard to beat, he's just a different type of oppoenent that you're not use to playing.

------------------------------------------------------------------

After you win the tournament, you'll get some prizes.

You've racked up loads of loot! Take your pick.

Tops:

------------------------------------------------------------------

Then go to Start New Tournament.

==================================================================
Tournament: Aluminum Bonus Tournament
Premiering this month: Reed, Monroe, Frazier
This episode: "Knicks's Idols"
Location: Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame
==================================================================

First Baller: Reed
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves
Special Rules Match! Fouls Will Not Be Recorded

Reed is a peice of cake in his purple sweatshirt. He is an average baller all around with nothing special. He's tall, around 6'8" but he doesn't use his height to his advantage. With nothing special at all about his game, you should be able to beat him easily. He doesn't believe in his perimeter game either, so don't worry about him shooting from behind the arc. Also, remember that there are no fouls, so play rough with him to cause steals.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Baller: Monroe
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Monroe is basically your typical baller. He's has nothing special, but takes all kinds of different types of shots. If you leave him open on the perimeter, he'll sink some of his threes. He can dunk, but sometimes he tends to do layups.
Like Reed, he really doesn't bring anything to the table that makes him hard to beat. He's not that quick on defense, so you can easily take advantage of driving right by him and scoring in the paint.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Baller: Frazier
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Frazier is surprisingly really good. He has really good dribbles and has a nice open jump shot. Though he doesn't take many threes, he scores his points taking mid range jump shots. Don't give him an open lane though, because he will take it inside for a lay up. He plays exceptional defense, and even though he is tall, he can steal the ball quite easily. He is above average at everything, making him a hard player to beat. I beat him with mostly dunks, but it was hard getting an open lane to the basket because of his defense.

------------------------------------------------------------------

After you win the tournament, you'll get some prizes.

You just won a bonus ladder! Pick out some extra stuff.

Friends: Alexa, Kazuki

Bottoms: Blue, Da Browns, Navy Blue, Black & White

After you select your prizes, you see how your attributes have moved up. Mine moved anywhere from 1-7.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Then go to Start New Tournament.

==================================================================
Tournament: Stainless Steel Tournament 1
Premiering this month: Wagner, Hamilton, Mashburn, R. Wallace, Garnett
This episode: "Bringin' The Heat"
Location: The Garnett Residence
==================================================================

First Baller: Detron Wagner
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Wagner is surprisingly better than one would expect. He's a small guard in his black and red outfit, which means that he is quick. For some reason, he could beat me off the dribble on every drive, making him one of the fastest guys I guarded yet. He lives off perimeter and mid-range jump shots, so you really don't have to worry about his inside game. He has some good dribbles, but the thing that impressed me the most was his speed. He's not that hard to beat, but he might push you to Round 3. If you have the size, go inside on him. He can steal a little, but he can't block or rebound at all.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Baller: Richard Hamilton
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, 1 Round,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves
Special Rules match! Hold Your Opponent Under 8 pts.

Richard Hamilton is really easy to beat. With the special one round match, you don't have much room for mistake. But by getting take out, you control the match from the beginning. The easiest way to hold him under 8 points, is to ice the clock as long as you can before you get a shot. This will make it hard for any of you guys to get to 8 points, which then means all you have to do is have the lead after 2 minutes. Hamilton isn't a good dribbler or a great rebounder, so you can get some good offensive boards against him. He dunks, hits perimeter shots, and shoots a lot of mid-rangers so you don't really know how he's going to approach the basket. Play aggressive defense on him because his dribbles aren't impressive. Offensively, use your skills that you have utilize for your ballers to beat him. He's not hard to beat, so you shouldn't
have a problem with him.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Baller: Jamal Mashburn
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Mashburn isn't very impressive. He can't dribble, can't shoot from the outside, and tries to out muscle you on the court. He'll try to back you down each time in the paint, and then work you with a little lay up or dunk. On defense, he can block shots and rebound, but don't worry about him stealing the ball away from you. While you're on defense, play aggressive defense because you can strip him. Once he gets you in the paint, he's at his best, so try to keep him at the perimeter.
I beat him shooting threes and dunking on him, but everyone has their own style of offense when playing with their created baller. Mashburn shouldn't take you more than a round or two to beat.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fourth Baller: Rasheed Wallace
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves

Rasheed looks rather ugly in his Atlanta Hawks jersey. Too bad he isn't still a Blazer :(. Anyway, Rasheed isn't as impressive in this game as he is in real life. He's not scared to hit the mid range jumpshot, so you have to defend him all over the court. His made scoring is his hook shot in the paint, so try to
put him on the perimeter where his shot percentage isn't as high.
He's a great rebounder and dunker, so make sure that you make your shots. Also, his dribbling skills aren't anything to brag about, so try to steal the ball from him before he backs you down.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Fifth Baller: Kevin Garnett
Game Rules: Play To 11, Win By 2, Best Of 3 Rounds,
2 Minute Rounds, Find Hidden Moves
Special Rules Match! Fouls Will Not Be Recorded

KG is a beast. With his white doo-rag and his lifted up pant leg, KG is ready for war. KG can block, steal, dunk, shoot jumpers, and dribble. I think that Garnett is the hardest baller that you'll have to face so far. There's no way to stop him when he's in the air, so all you have to do to win is score.
Sounds simple, but it's harder than you think. I beat KG by pump fakes and jumpers. It might take you a few rounds, but be patient, the rewards outweigh all the time you'll waste trying to beat him.

------------------------------------------------------------------

After you win the tournament, you'll see how your attributes have moved up.
Mine moved anywhere from 1-8.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Then go to Start New Tournament.
