Plenty of weapons in the game, one of the achievements requires you to pick up all the weapons in the game so here is a list of them for you to check against.
HINTS AND TIPS
Weapons – There are a lot of nasty folk out there, best to always have a weapon to hand just in case, never know when someone might jump out at you!
Walk the grid! - If you want to get all of the achievements such as finding all the birds/metal pieces and using all the weapons then you need to be pretty thorough and explore all areas. Like any forensic investigator you'll want to check everywhere around you including up high and down low. Remember the crime scenes are 3D - Walls, floors and roofs. Note that you can also move some objects.
Use the Taser - The taser is a pretty great way of disarming the bad guys so use it to your advantage to steal their weapons or to get in a few good hits before they recover. For some enemies the taser will be enough to finish them off.
Use the torch - Seems like common sense but for most of the game the torch is going to always be on. Not sure if switching it off will stop enemies from spotting you but either way it is a key piece of kit so use it.
Forensic tools - Most of the forensic tools are easy to use, you are shown how to use each one to begin with so just remember how they work and what each one is designed to identify or capture. At the bottom right a message will appear telling you to press X whenever you need to use your forensic tools.
Block – With all melee weapons you can block attacks from the enemy, it is very useful as it stops them taking away your life and also allows you to quickly counter attack. You need to get your timing right but this shouldn't be too hard to get used too.
Birds & Metal Pieces – If you are looking to collect all of these then your going to have to be quite thorough when searching levels. Most metal pieces are found near walls with eyes on them so that should help a bit. As for the birds listen out for the alive ones – you should be able to hear them. Also some of the others have flies around them which you can also hear when you are close.
The game follows quite a set linear path, you can explore rooms and locations all over the place but there is usually a fixed route that you must take to complete each level – this makes it a lot easier to go through so most people won't have a problem getting through each level. For those that do have problems here is a quick guide for each chapter.
OBJECTIVE: Follow Detective Dickenson to crime scene
Follow the detective under the tape and to the crime scene. When he tells you to use your torch enter the room on the right and collect the bird from the shelf on the right then move along the hallway and enter the room. You'll be talked through how to use your forensic tools so pay attention. Collect the evidence from the body and mannequin. Follow the detective when he smells smoke and walk to beside the ashtray. A cut scene kicks in.
Go straight a head and you'll see the bad guy, you can shoot him or if you are going for the melee achievements then just smash him with your gun. Go through the door on the left and up the stairs and follow the corridor around to the left. Another guy will attack you here, there is also a bir on one of the window ledges. Continue on through the door and you'll reach the room with the power switch, a cut scene will kick in and after this just go and pull the leaver for the power.
OBJECTIVE: The suspect has your gun! Track him down
Go straight ahead and grab the pipe from the wall, you'll need a weapon. Continue on and move the table out of your way. Go through the door on the left and in to the next room. There is a bird on the floor to pick up. Go back to the hall and move along - you'll see a bad guy climb up a shelf unit just continue past and go through the broken wall. A few guys will enter and attack you. Just block their attacks and smash them on the counter. Go out the other broken wall and turn left. Things will darken up just follow the hall down to the left. There are eyes on the wall ahead - take the metal piece then go left and then go straight into the the room ahead. Use your forensic tool to find the dead bird. Pick it up then go back out the room and into the room on your right. Take the door on your left and go outside and climb the stairs.
The door on the right requires the fire axe, move ahead and you'll hear the Detective call you. He'll give you the axe you need. There is also a dead bird on the floor in here. Go back and smash the door to unlock the bronze detective achievement.
TASK: Use axe to chop down door
Go back to where you met the detective and go through the open doorway, smash the door ahead with the axe, you now have a taser which can be used to stun enemies allowing you to take their weapons or get in a few hits. Take out the guy in here and follow the other one, you'll catch up with him, once you take him out follow the path round to the left and collect the bird from the wooden planks. Go through into the next area and turn right, there is a sledgehammer in the cupboard and then a column in the next room covered in eyes. Take the metal piece from the column then walk back through the room and through the door. Follow it round and kill the guys in the room then go through the open door.
Things will go dark and a cut scene will start.
OBJECTIVE: Escape into the metro train station
Head down the left of the alley and grab the shovel. Go back and use it to open the locked gate. Go down and walk along the edge. Use your forensic tool on the photos in the bin on the left. Continue on and use your forensic tool on the liquid beside the large trash bin. You'll be attacked from behind, kill the guy and take the crowbar.
TASK: Locate room where photos were processed.
Use the crowbar on the control panel to open the bay door. A couple more guys will attack from behind you. Kill them then go straight ahead and then left and enter the room on your right. Collect the bird and then go back and through the closed door.
Climb the stairs and go to the left and through the managers room, continue along the corridor and Vanhorn will call you, climb the stairs on the left of you. Enter the room on the right and go through the lounge and down the stairs a guy is armed down here so be careful. Take out the two guys then open the door on the left and head up the stairs.
Pick up the sledgehammer and move the cabinet on the wall covered with the eyes. Go back round the other shelves and unlock the door and head back through the lounge. Kill the two guys in here then go out and use the sledgehammer to open the locked door ahead of you. Go through the locker area and open the door and proceed down the stairs and through the door at the very bottom. Your phone will ring - Vanhorn again. Listen to the call then head up the small set of stairs, you can use the crowbar to get a shotgun out of the locker if you wish. Go up the stairs and under the fence.
Use your forensic tool to find the bird then head to the far right hand corner and down the corridor, take out the guy in the kitchen area and then move along and use your forensic tool to follow the trail. At the elevator use the forensic tool on the elevator controls to photograph the prints.
TASK: Restore power to elevator
You then need to power the elevator. Take the other path on the left and continue on. You'll enter a room the iron doors will rise, you'll be attacked by a few guys here so take them out and get the axe one of them has. Head back but before going through the door that needs to be smashed with the axe go down the step ladder located on your right hand side. Collect the metal piece of the wall ahead then go back up the ladder and smash the door. Pull the leaver to restore power to the elevator and head towards the elevator - before going in though go to the right past it and smash the other door to unlock the Ripple TV achievement. Then go in the elevator and head to the 3rd floor.
When you exit the elevator head right, there is a bird on the floor just beside the cabinets, continue on and through the door on the right, you'll be attacked in here so take out the attackers. There is a crowbar which lets you open a locker near by, can use this to take out the guy with the shotgun or you can wait until he fires of his shells then go smash him. When you go out of this room head straight and go into the male toilets and collect a bird from one of the toilets. Then leave and continue along to hallway.
TASK: Follow trail of C-41 developer fluid.
You'll be prompted to use your forensic tool to follow the trail, move ahead following the trail, a room on the right has a metal piece inside so go in and collect it then continue following the trail. You'll need to move the cabinet to gain access to a hidden door.
TASK: Search hidden rooms for evidence.
Enter the room and stick to the left hand side to enter the room overlooking your apartment, use your forensic tool on the recorder then head out and go straight ahead and through the door on the left. Use your forensic tool to photograph the newspaper articles on the wall. Leave the room and a cut scene will kick in - smash the enemy that comes after you.
OBJECTIVE: Track down suspect.
Leave the room and jump over the object to follow the suspect continue on through the room with all the desks then out onto the balcony area. Collect the dead bird from the wall and watch the suspect run across the ground below you. Go through the door on the left and down the stairs, take out the attacker then run across in the direction that the suspect went and through the door to finish.
OBJECTIVE: Track down suspect last seen wearing orange coveralls
Follow the corridor then open the fire door. To your right is a bird on top of the newspaper stands, head down the escalators and chase after the suspect. He will pull down an steel gate so you'll need an axe to get through the door on the left. Go back and take out the guy sitting down with the axe, grab the axe and the dead bird on his seat then go smash open the door. Go in and move the shelf unit and continue on through the fire door. Proceed and take out the attackers - beware as some have shotguns so be careful. Head to the left and enter the security area and move the cash register to get the metal piece then exit and smash open the door behind you with the fire axe.
In this next room collect the bird from on top of the TV. Go through the next door and a guy will smash through from the other side. Take him and the other guy down then continue past and go left. There is a bird directly ahead of you as you go down the ramp then climb over the chain and you'll be knocked down the escalator. Kill the attackers in the area then move on - there is a metal piece beside one of the benches on your left hand side. Go ahead and down the stairs. Collect the dead bird on the stairs then go down onto the platform.
TASK: Suspect is on the train. Climb aboard before he gets away
Jump down onto the track behind the train and grab the metal piece from the wall on the right then go back and jump on the rear of the train. The train will move, when it slows an attacker will jump on to your left - kill him then wait until you are knocked from the train.
OBJECTIVE: Track down suspect last seen wearing orange coveralls
TASK: The suspects train must stop at the next platform. Make your way there
Proceed up the track and use your forensic tool when prompted to find the first bird on this level. Stick to the right and head down the small passage way. Follow the passage way and take out the wee creepy guy using your taser or a weapon. Climb the small ladder on your left. Go left again and through the gate and up the next small ladder.
Go along and jump down, take out the 3 creepy guys in this area then go behind the large red container and move the object to unlock the static TV achievement. Go back out and down to the right and collect the metal piece at the far end. Go back to where you jumped down and take the path on the left then go to the right and down the longer corridor. Collect the shovel and go back up the long corridor. GO to the first security gate and use the shovel to destroy the lock. Go through and climb the ladder. Go right then right over the wooden planks and jump down into the fenced off area.
Continue along and then onto the train tracks and head right onto the platform. Enter the train and use your forensics tools on the fire extinguisher. Take the attackers then use the sledgehammer on the gate. Go up the stairs and use your forensics tool on the train schedule on the fan. Climb down and go through the second door on your right. Collect the bird then leave and continue along the corridor. Go down the stairs - you'll see a broken steam pipe. Get the axe then go back up the stairs and smash open the door. Take out the two attackers then jump down the hole in the middle of the room and turn the steam valve then go back to where the broken steam pipe was and go past and jump down the ladders.
OBJECTIVE: Search lower train tunnels for information linked to suspect
After jumping down the bottom ladder go through the door almost behind you, take out the attacker and proceed along the path. Use your forensic tool on the room in the left to find the dead bird. Go through the corridors and past the large generators then climb the ladder. Take out the two firemen guys then climb the ladder. Go right and collect the bird from the box then go left and jump down into the room below. Watch out for the woman in the second cupboard! Go down the stairs and collect the bird at the bottom. Then follow the path round down the stairs. At the bottom use the shovel on the security gate. Then climb the steps beside you and turn the first valve, continue up the steps and round and turn the second valve then go back down and through the security gate. Go down the path and along the tracks then through the door on the right. Go up and fight the fireman guys and other attackers.
At the back use your forensic tools on the information on the table and collect the bird beside it. Continue along and through the door on the right. Use your forensic tool on the crowbar then grab the crowbar. Go back out to the subway carts. Go down the right and collect the metal piece from the wooden blockade at the tunnel. Then go behind you to the end of the subway cart and walk along the piece of wood and use the crowbar to open the doors. Use your forensic tools on the footprint on the seat. Then open the roof compartment and use your forensic tool again on the body part.
TASK: make your way back to platform
Take out the attacker that comes onto the train then climb onto the roof and take out the attackers then climb the ladder. You'll see a gate ahead of you. Go left first and collect the metal piece off the wall. Then go back and through the gate and head back up the way you came earlier to get to the platform and complete the chapter.
OBJECTIVE: Search department store for information linked to suspect
Go straight ahead and look for a green present on the ground at the back left with a red ribbon. The first bird is on the floor beside it. Continue on round behind the escalators then down the step into the next area, go through the broken shop window and through the rooms. Move the objects out of the way then climb through the window. GO to the right and collect the metal piece from the concrete pillar at the end of the corridor. Then go back and move into the next area. On your right is a display case with mannequin heads. Smash it and pick up the bird. Move into the next room and take out the attacking mannequin guys. Grab the revolver from the changing area then enter the next room and use your forensic tool on the print on the table.
TASK: Investigate room for clues
Use your forensic tool on the smear on the wall the exit the room using the door on the left and go down the stairs and open the door.
TASK: Use laser to follow drag marks on floor
Use your forensic tool to identify the drag marks. Follow them taking out the attackers you meet on the way. Move the object at the end of the drag marks.
TASK: Find route to ground floor and continue search
Grab the sledgehammer then go back the way you came. There is a locked door just in the next room. Use the sledgehammer on it then walk down the escalator and take out the attackers.
TASK: Find elevator and resume tracking drag marks on floor
Move through the room and head up the stairs on the right. There is a metal piece beside the two payphones. Head up the stairs and on your left there is a bird on the display shelf. Take out the attackers then continue along. Mannequins will surround you forcing you to go one way. Jump down and head down the corridor and jump down again. Follow the trail then collect information using your forensic tool.
TASK: Use gas spectrometer to locate body.
Equip your forensic tool then enter the flooded area and go to the far left and collect the metal piece from between the shelves. Then go back and through the broken area and up the stairs. There is a bird on the shelf in the first room here. Continue along and collect the axe from the middle of the room filled with water. Then go back and use the axe to smash open the door. Go in and you'll see a mannequin arm holding up a shutter, go into the room on the right and collect the bird then go out and to the far side of the room and use the axe on the door and again on the door marked exit.
Go up the stairs and through the door. Your back in the department store, there is a bird in the changing room on your left.
OBJECTIVE: Investigate crime scene
Enter the changing room and use your forensic tool on the victim. Leave the changing room and take out the attacker then go left and take out the other attackers in here. Listen to the call.
OBJECTIVE: Avoid the police
TASK: Escape from building before choking to death on tear-gas
Go back and head right, go through the double doors and exit through the doors at the far end to escape.
OBJECTIVE: Meet Rosa at the City Library
When you start move straight ahead and collect the two birds, then head to the large piece of wood on the wall to your left. Move it and pick up the bird.
There are a few guys in this room, one that jumps down through the roof and two at the back of the room. There is a revolver in the blue locker beside the row of yellow lockers at the back. You can also unlock the silver detective badge near to where the guy jumps through the roof. There is a metal piece here too. Head past the rows of yellow lockers and through the door ahead of you. A guy will burst through the wall with a shot gun so take him down quick. Move the cabinet behind you to find another bird.
Go through and answer your phone then collect the metal piece from the wall then jump out the window, there is another bird on the right. Next walk up the piece of wood and jump down over the wall. Your likely to run into a least one other guy when you jump down so be ready. Then head round to the left and collect the bird then jump over the broken piece of wall. Take down any other guys here. More guys will come after you, you should be able wait for one of them to smash the others then you can take out the last guy. One will come down through a gate, take him down then go through the gate before the cops get you. Then jump into the trash cart. Ride it down watching out for the two guys who jump on it on the way down.
OBJECTIVE: Locate information about the Torturer
TASK: Find Rosa
When you start notice the gate on your right, you need a crowbar to pass through - same with all the other closed gates on the level. Head through the doorway on the left hand side of the room and through to the larger room. A bird in on the desk to the left. Straight ahead is another dark corridor, go along and call the elevator. Get inside and go to the basement, walk along the corridor and meet up with Rosa.
Open the folder on the desk and go through the pages. Then pick up the super taser. Then head over to Rosa
TASK: Find an Undamaged computer terminal
Search through the office area for a computer terminal. Head through the door Rosa opened and grab a weapon, paper cutter is nearby as is a desk drawer. The screen will go a bit weird, head towards the white lights and take out the guys who attack you. Then head back to the door and head through the window that Rosa breaks and into the room straight ahead of you. Use the computer.
TASK: Rosa Has been abducted. Find her!
Head through the open door on your right and then through the double doors. Go right there is another bird on the book cases on the left. Continue on and you'll notice the door on the left requires an axe to get through. Use your forensic tools on the floor behind you - you'll then see Rosa's phone on the floor behind the glass beside you.
TASK: Rosa's phone is in the server room. Find a way in
A guy will burst through the door behind you. Take them down and follow the guy with the axe. In the next room there is a desk a head of you, you can move it out the way to find another bird. Take down the enemies and the guy with the axe and take the axe, then head back to where you saw the phone.
TASK: Search Server room for clues
Enter the server room and active your forensic tool, sweep around the room, the forensic trace is on one of the server locker doors, get a sample then take the crowbar from inside.
TASK: There's computer activity in Rare books. It may be Rosa
Head out of the server room and go left, at the end of the corridor you can move the object to find a metal piece. Go back along the corridor and through the open door on the left and use the crowbar to open the gates, then call the elevator and go upstairs. Head back to where you started this level. In the main hall there will be a few guys - one with a sub machine gun so taser him and take them all down. If you go through the gate where you started you'll be able to unlock the bird bath achievement. Then go back to the main hall and use the crowbar on the gate to go upstairs.
Kill the two guys upstairs and then head into the main room. Use your forensic tool to identify the smell. At the far end you'll find another bird and a sledge hammer. Take the hammer and head to the right hand side of the room (right hand side when you enter the room). Break the ladder free with the sledge hammer and move it then climb it and collect the bird. Move across towards Rosa and jump down.
OBJECTIVE: Access school district micro-fiche records
TASK: Head down to the basement with Rosa
Follow Rosa towards the basement. You'll enter a room badly damaged by the fire, head to the right hand side and near to the gates behind the main desk upstairs. There is a metal piece located behind an object nearby. Head back into the fire damaged room and towards the middle. You'll fall through the floor and break your torch. Wait for Rosa to come down.
TASK: Meet Rosa at door leading down to the basement.
Move around the room looking for a way out, its pretty linear so there is only really one path you can follow, watch out for the wee creepy guys jumping around though. When you see Rosa you need to jump down the gap and proceed through the level. There is another bird located on the table in the room when the three guys jump down from the roof and attack you. At the far end three guys will burst out a room and attack you, kill them then enter the room they came out of. Move the object at the end to get the metal piece. Then leave the room and go down towards the left and meet up with Rosa.
TASK: Lead Rosa downstairs to the basement
Head down the stairs and through the double doors. You'll begin to search the records with Rosa.
OBJECTIVE: Exit Library
TASK: Secure stacks making it safe for Rosa to reach exit.
All you need to do here is kill the guys in the room with you. Simple enough really just use your taser and block attacks and hit them with counter attacks and kicks.
TASK: Meet Rosa at Exit
Head towards the exit to meet Rosa
OBJECTIVE: Find missing teacher linked to Carl Anderson, a.k.a The Torturer.
Move along the corridor and enter the second room on your right - there is a bird hidden on the floor behind the desk. The gate ahead requires a sledgehammer. Go up the corridor to the right and through the last door on the left. Walk through and duck under the broken wall and collect the sledgehammer - then go back and go through the gate and up the stairs.
Move along the corridor and then go straight ahead and open the door on your left. You'll see a large guy throw one of the creepy looking blokes out towards you. Kill these guys and move into the room ahead. Go through into the hall and then into the open room, kill the two guys who fall through the roof. Move on through the class rooms and you will see a guy writing on the blackboard. Kill him then use the forensic tool on the lips at the other blackboard.
OBJECTIVE: Find missing teacher, a Mr. Samuel Tibbits
TASK: Search for clues leading to Mr. Tibbits whereabouts.
Head back towards the exit of the classroom and you will fall through the floor to a room below, take out the guy in this room, can take either door from this room - they'll both lead ot the same place eventually. A room with meat hanging up in it, go through the room and climb through the space. Take out the guys in this room and the next hallway - careful though one has a sub machine-gun. Once you take them out go up the stairs and through the door into the gymnasium.
Go to the right and through the exit door and down the stairs - watch the sneaky guy under the stairs. Go down the corridor behind you to collect another bird. Move back along the corridor - a door on your left requires a fire axe so move past and down to the end of the corridor. Enter the rather messy bloodstained kitchen and move into the freezer area. You'll run into a couple of guys riding on hooks coming towards you. Then a large person in a cooks uniform to take them down the best bet is to use the taser and go in for a few hits then back of and repeat.
Pick up the meat cleaver and use it to get the fire axe of the guy on the table ahead. Then go back and smash through the door. You'll know be in the gymnasium now, go across the hall and turn the power on - this will lower the basketball hoop which has an arm attached to it. Use your forensic tool on the fingers. Go through to the other side of the gym and the floor will break - jump down and head to the right and climb the ladder beside the first aid box. Head to the left and into the coridor, go through the door and down the stairs and you'll see a broken wall, go ot the left to unlock the test pattern achievement. There is also a bird beside the cardboard box. Then go back up the stairs and through the door at the top of the stairs.
You'll now be outside, go through the gate and into the playground, go to the right and you'll see a body that looks ...well like you. Fight off the attackers (the rifle is in a room just behind you) then go to the far side of the playground (to the right hand side from the room with the rifle and jump down into the gap and through the window. Go along this corridor and into the locker room area. Proceed through into the other locker area and climb through into the room, push away the grid and climb through into the the locker area. Watch out for a few attackers in here. Use your forensic tool on the locker at the far end of the room then open the locker. Have fun taking his picture!
OBJECTIVE: Meet Vanhorn in front of school
Grab the shovel and head into the shower area. Use the shovel on the security gate and turn the valve. Go along the corridor and enter the door on the left. Go in and jump down into the pool. Things will go weird here, kill all the attackers and get the sub machine-gun off the guy at the end of the pool. Climb out of the pool and enter the second door on the wall and get the fire axe then go back and smash through the other door with the axe. Move onwards through the shower area and toilets. There is a bird on a table at the end of the corridor outside the toilets. A cut scene will kick in here. Walk to the end of the hallway and towards the door.
OBJECTIVE: Find Serial Killer X and the Torturer
TASK: There are 4 trails leading from the entry foyer. Find their destinations
When you enter the house use your forensic tool to photograph the writing on the wall to the right. Use your next forensic tool - the white light to show the hidden words. You have to follow each of the different trails to their destinations. Look out for birds and metal pieces on the way. There is a bird on the table in the room on the left and at the end of that train there is a metal piece behind a chest of drawers in a room. There is no point in giving set directions, just follow the trails and collect the evidence at the end point of each of the trails. Also you can turn lights off to help you see the trails better.
Hint: One is in the oven, one down stairs in the basement. One requires you to go through the attic (and fight a bad guy) and the other is in a cupboard upstairs.
TASK: Dark path to righteousness is beyond which you see yourself to be.
The clever ones will get this pretty quickly - the big mirrored cupboard in the basement is where you want to go, get there and open it.
TASK: Search secret room for clues
Move along the corridor and head to the far end of the room. Use your forensic tool to photograph the information on the wooden table.
TASK: Investigate noise upstairs
Head back upstairs to the main entrance and watch the piano slide down the stairs.
TASK: Find an axe to cut free piano and continue searching upstairs
Move ahead and a few attackers will come after you. Kill them and take the crowbar from one of them. Go into the room on the left hand side of the main hallway and open the locked box with the crowbar. A few guns in here to help you out. More attackers will come, take them out and eventually one will have the axe you need. Use it on the rail beside the piano then slide it off. Head upstairs to the room beside the bathroom. Go inside and use your forensic tool to collect information from the fingers of the body.
A cut scene will kick in and at the end you'll need to hunt down the serial killer and attack him. Once you've got him enough times another cut scene will begin.
OBJECTIVE: Hunt down and destroy the one responsible for all this madness
TASK: Escape burning barn.
Due to the fire you are pretty much stuck to a linear path. Head out and go right, enter the first door on the right and climb through the gap and under the next. Open the door and go outside. A cut scene will kick in. Move around, the fence will break near by, head through it and take out the attacker. Head down the path and over the gate, A few attackers will come after you here so take them all out before moving on. Head up the path and take the turn up to the right, enter the building and take the gun and the bird behind one of the boxes, use the rifle to kill the guys coming after you then turn the power on and head back to the mail path. Continue along the path. You see a wee creepy guy running up the hill, follow him and take out the attackers here. Then the bad guy with the sticks appears. Take him out and head on through and take out the guys who approach with the burning sticks.
Head up to the left and move through the barn area towards the tractor, a couplke of guys armed with guns will attack so avoid their shots then take them down. Go past them and head towards the house. Walk onto the wooden decked area and take the weapon and bird from the table ahead, a few more guys will attack from behind and ahead so take them out and head round to the house. As there is no torch I find it useful to keep the burning stick as a weapon. You'll encounter the bad guy with sticks again here. There are two sub machine guns on tables on the wooden decking area so killing him with one of them should help you.
Head to the right hand side of the house and enter through the doorway, pick up the metal piece on the right and then move on there is a stick on a door holding up a bird take the stick and you'll enter a dark room, go through the door to face the bad guy.
Prepare for a good fight here, first of all a few big guys and a few wee creepy guys will come after you, there are a good few medi kits on the wall on the right should you need them. Get a weapon you like (A few can be found around you) and when you kill them all the bad ninja bloke will come down for a fight. He's quite quick and sneaky with attacks so try block and get a few attacks in before backing off. When he falls you have to use the d-pad and rip the metal from his body. Then he'll flee, you need to climb the ladder and fight him again and again rip the metal from his body. You need to do this a third time to finish him off. Remember to grab medi kits when you need them.
Then that's you. You just need to decide if you'll kill The serial killer X or let him live, then it is all done.
Hopefully this walkthrough has given you some helpful pointers or pointed you in the right direction when you have got yourself stuck or lost. I don't think all the metal pieces or bird locations are included as some of them seem to be rather tricky to track down – part of the fun of playing through the game again I guess to try locate those hidden secrets and achievements.
This, whilst often being the least used item, is my life saver. In many ticky sitiuations and some scary ones, where I have little time to swing with my main weapon, this beautiful little gadget has protected me. It is equiped extremely fast and can hit enemies pretty much all the time. When unsure what is lurking round the corner, be sure to have your finger over the taser button. It momentarily stuns the enemy giving you plenty of time to whip out your crow bar, shotgun, or shovel and batter the enemy. If you are faced against enemies which are carrying guns, the taser allows you to go over to the stunned enemy and quickly steal their gun.
Most of the objects are pretty useful, but the game does allow you to see which are better than others. Many of the light objects offer a very quick blow to the enemy, but dont ensure much damage. A very common object which is constantly arround you is the metal pipe, often found on walls. My favourite weapon has either got to be the axe or the wooden plank with nails sticking out. Many would argue with this by saying any gun is far better than manualy controller weapons, however, guns tend to run out very quickly. When fighting an enemy, like suggested before, I recommend that you always stun at least one of your enemies before hurling your weapon at them.
The realistic enemies
The great thing about the game 'condemned' on the xbox 360 is the realism of your surrounding enemies. They too, can use nearby objects in aid of their defence. If you are ever left one on one with a dangerous person (which is very often) and you are very low on health, what I tend to do is back off for a little while, and wait for them to hide in the nearest location which is very dark. Then you can go back, stun them, and kill them very easily. Another tip would be, that if you ever see two or more enemies together, dont interrupt. Let them do their own thing - this is often beating the hell out of each other. This way, the number of enemies is shortened and your health remains intact.
If at any stage of the game you are unsure of where or what to do next, and you spot a perculiar looking....thing, never hesitate to go over and check it out. Included in the game is a clever feature, which shows you whenever you walk past an object wheather you can use it or not. The most commong button is A and so, if you can use an object, when next to it, on your screen a short sentence should appear saying "Press 'A' to use". This also happens with evidence equipment. If you are in an area where something dodgy has been going on or where clues have been left, you are prompted to press the X button and to use your equipment to your advantage.
Now there is also another clever feature which the producers of Condemned have allowed the player to use. This is that when you get out and use your clue equipment, on each device their is either a bar or flashig light, telling you and directing you to the evidence. Without this it would take much longer to find your all important clues and to track down your enemy.
