Smoke Grenade - When thrown, you have about 3 seconds to take cover or you'll hear a small 'bang' sound and will be blinded for a good three or four seconds by a bright, white light. You can throw these further by aiming the up in the air.
HE Grenade - The 'HE' stands for "High Explosive". This is just your basic grenade.
Smoke Grenade - When thrown, you have about 3 seconds before your hear a small popping sound and the area around the ground becomes engulfed in a thick cloud of smoke for about 15 seconds. It offers a place to hide or take cover.

=****Basic Weapon Stratagies****=

When using a pistol, never stand still. Always run, and when aiming and shooting crouch. Try to avoid standing still, only stand still when hiding/camping. I have a rule for pistols, never buy when at the start of the game, always try and think for the next round.
When using a rifel only buy CV-47 (AK-47) (Terrorist), Maverick M4A1 Carbine (Colt) (Counter-Terrorist) and Bullpup (AUG) (Counter-Terrorist). Always aim high with your rifle and try and save as much as bullets as possible, they run out vey quick. The CV-47 (AK-47) (Terrorist) and Maverick M4A1 Carbine (Colt) (Counter-Terrorist) are very similar, there both main weapons for the teams. But my personal favourite is the Bullpup (AUG) (Counter-Terrorist), it gives a lot of damage, but lacks in accuracy, its a campers weapon. When using the teams main weapons, always move left to right, right to left or your dead.
Now, the shotguns are very powerful, they only take two shots to kill. They are very heavy and take some time to reload. The two guns Leone 12 Gauge Super, is very cheap for a powerful shotgun, the only problem with it, takes ages to reload, after every shot you have to reload. If you want to get one get the Leone YG1265 Auto Shotgun, you cant go wrong with only one long reload, then you can keep firing until you run out. This is a good choice of weapon on maps where nearly all encounters are at close quarters. Alway try to side step and jump while firing.
