Retro Game Walkthroughs for Graal Online (PC Games)

SECTION 1: INTRO
Looking through the PC section, I released there was no review for Graal, which to be fair is an online game, but is still really in depth and hard to complete, well there isn't really an end to it. So by reading this guide, you will have all 13 hearts, level 3 sword power and level 3 shield power. There is also a section that states where all the important items are and also a 'n00b' guide if you have just started playing the game. Read on, fellow Graalians.

SECTION 2: STARTING THE GAME AND A SHORT NEWBIE GUIDE:
The Controls:
Okay, basically the default controls go like this: 'S' is your sword, 'D' is use items, or to select an item to use, 'Q' is open the item menu, 'M' is get your map up, 'Tab' is to enter something into the text box, F1 opens the options menu and F7 opens the PM menu, so you can chat with other people online. If this is not correct, then you have the other control option activated, which is as above, but 'Space' is use item and 'Shift' is use sword.
Getting Started:
You will start off in a place called Town Center. To your left is a bomb and arrow. Touch them both to be able to use them by pressing D. (See Controls) It is highly recommended that you go on the newbie course which is just to your left, then you will end up back in the building you started in. Go outside and touch the little ring in front of you to get it. This is a warp ring, which will warp you back to Town Center. Every village or town has a warp ring, and it is highly recommended that you collect all of them, as this place is very big. You can use the ring by pressing the item menu key, then scroll over to warp rings, then select the ring you want and press 'D' to use it. See Controls for more info.
Changing you're looks:
The great thing about graal is that everyone looks different. That's because you can choose from thousands of different bodies, heads, swords and shields to wear/equip. To change your looks, go on the newbie course to find out how. All the codes are located in your hard drive. Just click on your hard drive folder, then graal 2001, then levels, then click on heads, bodies, swords or shields. As an example, these are the codes I use: For my head: sethead af-head3fixed.png. For my body: setbody af-body3.png. For my shield: setshield haro41-frostmourneshield.png. For my sword: setsword linkson-glass-sword.png. You should play about until you are sure that the look you have is the one you want. You can save all your different looks and load them with the touch of a button by getting the upgraded Taylor Skill. (See Items)
You're Almost Ready:
Okay, that’s just about it, the rest is up to you to explore. A couple of useful commands are; "unstickme" which will warp you to Town Center if you get stuck and "daynight off" which will turn the day/ night lighting off. Just type these in the text box. If you have any trouble or need help, you can send a message to a member of staff, who are usually online. Most people around you will also be pleased to help you. (Well, most of them, anyway)

SECTION 3: QUEST GUIDE:
This is the main part of the walkthrough and will get you all 13 hearts and level 3 sword and shield power. (You start off with level 1)
Heart Quest 1:
This one is simple. Go into the house that says AcIdIcE'z House. It is just next to the Town Center Warp Ring. Go in and go all the way to the end until you can only go left or right. Go right and through the door that leads outside. Walk to the right until you come across a door. Go through it. And you will be in a room with enemies. Ignore them and go through the door at the top. Repeat the process for the next two rooms, except this time you have to kill the enemies to open the door. After that, kill the two guys in red and go through to pick up the heart in the chest in front of you. You will now you 4 hearts.
Heart Quest 2:
Go to Delta City and go into the house that says Puzzle Externalist, just below the rooms to rent house. Go through the door and get to the next door with out touching the walls. Be careful of the fire. In next room, go through the next door, avoiding the enemies. Do the same in the next room. In the next room, pull the blue blocks by holding 'A' and pressing back and push the red blocks by just walking into them. Touch the blue thing and you will be warped to a chest, which contains another heart! You know have 5 hearts.
Heart Quest 3 And Sword Quest 1:
Go to Trent City and to the left of the city, there will be a guard in red. Go past him to enter a room filled with those annoying little things. Go all the way to the left and being chased by all those enemies, run over to the door on the left. In these corridors, you have to enter the right door, so in the first room enter the door on the right, in the next room, enter the door on the left, then in the next room enter the door in the middle. Destroy the orb in front of you, and then go forwards to be warped back to Trent. Go into the Mayor's house, which is the big house at the bottom and enter the door on the left. Say ‘the mayor’ and get the heart and the level 2 power sword. You should know have no more than 6 hearts and a level 2 sword.
Heart Quest 4:
Go to Conner and find the hat trade shop. Go left from that and enter the Riddle Cave. All you have to so is to answer the riddles which to be fair aren’t very hard. Stuck? Ok, I’ll give you the first one. The first one is holes. When you get to the room of enemies, kill them, take the key and enter the room that contains your next heart. You know have 7 hearts.
Heart Quest 5:
Go to Noob Ville and go inside a building just left to the warp ring that says ‘shooting gallery’ All you have to do is pay the man 1 graalat to have 15 arrows (or 15 attempts) to shoot the chicken 10 times. After shooting it 10 times, you can pick up another heart. You will know have 8 hearts.
Hearts Quest 6:
Go to Conner and search around the place for a building labeled ‘Castle Garden Quest’ this building is quite hard to find, so look all over Conner. Once inside, go through a door at the top and pay the man standing there to do this challenge. All you have to do is to make your way to the end within the time limit. The best way to do it is to just pick up the grass and throw it. If you can’t do it, you can always ask someone else to do for you, then follow them. When you get to the end, you will be warped to yet another heart. You should now have 9 hearts.
Heart Quest 7 And Shield Quest 1:
This is quite hard to find so listen up. Go to River Way, then just south from it, follow the river left, then up, until it comes to an end. At this point, you can go up, left, or right. Up is obviously the way to Neo Town. Go right and eventually you will come to a building labeled ‘Doom Cave Lake’ Go inside and you basically have to clear each room before you move on. (Except for the room where you have to move the red and blue blocks) Obviously, push the red ones and pull the blue ones. In the last room there will be two chests, containing a heart and shield power 2. You should now have 10 hearts and level 2 shield power.
Heart Quest 8 And Shield Quest 2:
Go to Dispora (The really snowy place) and go inside a house that says ‘Abandoned Mansion’ It looks like any normal house. Run past the enemies until you get to a room with small blocks. Navigate to the end of the room without touching the invisible wall. This bit does take time and precision, so patience is required. Run through the rooms that shoot out fireballs then in room that has 911 on the floor, say ‘911’ In the next room get past the blocks and you will be warped to two chests, one containing a heart and another containing the level 3 shield. You should now be the proud owner of 11 hearts and level 3 shield power.
Heart Quest 9:
Go to Conner and follow the dirt path until you get to the graalat farmer. Go left until you get to a big cave. Go inside to find a fairy. Get out of the cave by destroying the orange block then go to Tamantra. Go to the fairy house, which is at the bottom of Tamantra, and go in. You will notice that her fairy friend isn’t there. She is located in Water World, in the house with skulls either side. She will let you take a heart when you get there. You will now have 12 hearts.
Heart Quest 10:
This is by far the hardest quest. Go to Tumantra then go up a bit and you will see two dead bodies. Go past them and get through the various things, then slipping behind the trees when you get to the double layer of red blocks until you get two a building. Go into it and keep going north, getting the keys to open doors and shooting the two targets with an arrow to open the next door until you get to a room that contains chests. Don’t get exited, they’re only for recovering. Say ‘samoo 4 life’ and get the key, then go through the door. Fight off the baddies, including the ones that shoot arrows and disappear, then kill Lord Sammo. He is very touch, so it will take quite a few goes to crack it. After defeating him, go through and get the heart. You will now have a quite impressive 13 hearts.
Sword Quest 2:
Okay, you now have a level 3 shield and all 13 hearts. But wait, what about the level 3 sword? Well it’s not really a quest, you have to buy it, so here goes. Firstly, make sure you have about 15 - 20 graalat. Then go to Trent city and enter the building that says four winds and lounge bar. Go through the door in front of to come across a room filled with sofas. Go through the door to your right and through the big door. Go back out and you will be in a big room with a water feature in the middle. Go through the big door at the bottom and in the next room go through the only door there is. Walk up to the slot machine and walk into it until you are warped into a room with the level 3 sword. Now just follow the same route to get out. Now you are finished! You should now be the proud owner of 13 hearts, and level 3 sword and shield power.
Bomb Quest:
Well you’re not quite finished yet. If you want bombs that are twice as powerful and as big as standard bombs, read on. Go to Trent City, go right to the bottom and walk left, until you see Rocky Mountains. Go up and you don’t have to kill all the enemies, just touch the red bomb at the top. Please note that trial users cannot use these red bombs.
You’re Finished:
Okay that’s really it! You are now fully prepared for some serious player killing now that you have max sword and shield and all 13 hearts. Just one more thing: You may notice that as you kill people, your maximum life (or hearts) goes down. This is perfectly normal and you can tell how fast your killing rate is by looking at the colour of your name. If you find this annoying, because other people have more life than you, go to Town Center PK area, as everyone has 3 hearts there.

SECTION 4: ITEM LOCATIONS:
Bombs and arrows: Town Center.
Snow Ball: Dispora.
Horses: The horse barn in Town Center.
Upgraded Taylor Skill: Drop your Taylor Skill in the wishing well in Town Center and you will get the upgraded version.
Strange Hat: On top of the tree in Town Center - climb it.
Level 2/ 3 swords and shields and red bombs: See quest guide.
Mega Bow, UN Dance, Power Blast, Shovel, etc: Trent Item Shop.
Fishing Rod: At the bottom of Trent, go west until you get to a seaport. You will see the fishing rod in front of you. You can get that and go inside the house where the rod was next to and talk to the man and say ‘get deep water rod’ to get the deep water rod.
Tree Climbing Shoes: In between Tamantra and Water World, near the gold
trees.
Cars: UN Car Shop in Delta.
