INTRODUCTION & NOTES

Hitman. Agent 47 is back and this could well be his last mission, unless you can safely kill the targets without anybody killing you. This is the first Hitman in the series to be set in the USA and is the best one so far.

I have written this walkthrough in the way that I completed the missions. The methods below (with some added creativity) have allowed me to complete every level (somehow) with a silent assassin rating.

In my guide, I use the term “dispose of”. I say this, as killing civilians will lower your score (hence using sedatives/waiting for them to sleep/non-lethal ways to knock them out and obtain their clothes/items). The only people you should kill are your targets (and, as I will explain below, should be made to look like an accident where possible).

The term accident is used a lot in this guide. They are methods that allow you to kill and make it look, well, like an accident. Accidents are counted as the following events:
 Pushing people down stairs
 Pushing people over railings/from great heights
 Heavy items (barrels, pianos, anvils etc.)
 Pushing people into lethal items (furnaces/swimming pools/shark cages)
 Any death from a great height

My guide is one way through the game (well, a single way to complete the missions explained). The other method to complete the game I can sum up in this paragraph. FPS (First Person Shooter). Click the right thumbstick to go into first person view and complete the level all guns blazing. Just don’t kill anybody you are meant to be protecting. The method does work, but is not the best way to complete the game. Try it after the game has been completed and see.

WALKTHROUGH


DEATH OF A SHOWMAN

Target:
Joseph Clarence (The Swing King)

Intel: None

This mission is the training mission, which will help you get to grips with the game. Some features of the game will have to be found out for yourself though – or I shall tell you what to do when needed.

Run up onto the pier and head across to the park gate. After the information from the agency, 47 will talk to the guard. He should get knocked out during the cut-scene. Head left into the gift shop and equip a coin. Throw this out the far window to distract the guards. They’ll investigate the coin and you can quickly slip out the door, across the courtyard and into the theatre.

Once in the theatre, equip the fibre wire. Hold down the right trigger and enter assassin mode. Sneak up behind the gangster and kill him. You can leave his body lying around – nobody will find it! You can kill the hostage on the springy ride thing, but he’s blindfolded, so won’t compromise your progress. There should be some red trellis in the room that you can climb. Climb up this and jump across the balconies. Walk through the door. Now you have two options – pick the lock and engage in a fight with two gangsters, or pick up the shotgun that is left in the corner and engage in a fight with the two gangsters after blowing away the lock. I suggest the latter as it’s much more easier, as well as being a lot of fun. Hide their bodies in the two large cases and close the lids. Then quickly hide in the closet. A scientist should walk in. Hop out and dispose of him. Nab his key card and steal his clothes. Hide his body in the room you found the shotgun. Leave the shotgun in this room.

Go back through the room and use the key card to get through the door and enter the hall. Walk quickly pass the guard, the tension metre rises quickly when he sees you. Go into the door near the end and take the pistol. Hide this in the baking soda crate and walk up to the guard with the search probe. He’ll search you. Let him – you’ve got nothing to hide. He’ll let you through. Retrieve your weapon from the tray and drop down onto the lift. Equip your fibre-wire and stand by the open hatch. The option to strangle should appear. 47 will descend and strangle the guard below. He’ll also place him on top of the lift cage. This trick comes in handy – you can use it to get out of trouble later in the game…

Drop down into lift shaft and break the utility box at the end of the corridor. Sneak through the cocaine factory, avoiding the guards and the scantily clad ladies. Head into the toilet and equip the pistol. Take the man using the urinal as a human shield and clear the room next door. Beware, sometimes the gunshots are heard by the workers in the cocaine factory and they have been known to come in behind you and cause you some damage. Clear all the opponents and then climb up the ladder and unpack the rifle suitcase.

Equip the rifle and eliminate the three guards outside. One is roaming the ground outside, one on the rooftop directly opposite and then there is one by the wheel, about halfway up. Once eliminated, head outside and down the drainpipe. Head across the park into the office building and steal the poison syringes from the case. Sneak upstairs and listen to the guard flirting with the receptionist. When he returns to duty, push him out the window. You could kill him using the poison/fire-extinguisher/gun, but this way it looks like an accident. Whilst the receptionist is talking to the target, quickly sneak in and inject the poison into the drink. Then quickly hide in the closet and watch her drink her last drink. Looks like another accident… Head into the adjacent room and show the picture to Joseph Clarence. Then kill him.

Head out the window and along the walkway and pick up the RU-AP mine and detonator along the way. Sneak into the window at the far end and sneak across to the light rig base. Place the mine on the rig, sneak outside and detonate. There will be a woman witness and a guy dressed in a pink suit at the bottom. Dispose of them both and steal his Desert Eagle. Finally, escape through the door and complete the level.

A VINTAGE YEAR

Intel:
1) The guided tour of the wine cellar might prove useful, especially when looking for potential death traps.
2) We've heard that Manuel likes to entertain friends and enjoy the merchandise in the wine cellar.
3) The entrance to the secret lab is hidden somewhere in the wine cellar.
4) The insides are guarded by highly trained guards.


This level can prove to be a bit tricky, depending on how you pull the hit off. I start by immediately taking a guard out and stealing his uniform. Walking around to the right of the vineyard before walking through the guarded door can do this. You should see a guard walking around the corner, so chase after him and sedate him; steal his uniform and shotgun, before dragging his body away from the patrol route. Do this as quickly as you can.

Now, dressed as a guard, you can enter the vineyard and then enter the wine cellar directly across the yard. There will be a guard standing on duty. You can either distract him or push him over the railings. Either way, you’ll need to plant a bomb on the base of the rope holding up the barrels that are hanging up. Seems a stupid place to hold wine barrels, but at least it’s something to work with. Now head down the stairs and pretend to be acting guard. Wait until the man in pink stands directly under the barrels and then detonate the mine. This should crush him and look like an accident. That was the first of your targets. Make your way out of the wine cellar pretty quickly.

Now head directly across the courtyard into a room. There should be a utility box, which you can break, but there is no need. Head through the room and you’ll eventually reach a large open area. Head right across the area and against the corner of the house and climb up the drainpipe. It’s best to save here as if you are spotted doing this a gunfight will quickly follow. Now upon the roof, sneak through the window. The second target will be playing his cello – kill him quietly as there are guards outside.

Nip back out the way you came and jump down the opposite side you climbed, but watch out for the guard. He should be fine, but if he sees you come down he’ll attack. Head down the narrow cliff edge and down onto the pier. Mind attracting too much attention from the VIP guards and workers, skirting around them. Use the plane to escape and that’s the end of the level.

CURTAINS DOWN

Intel:
1) The content of the toolboxes will not be searched when you are frisked.
2) There is a lift shaft from the backstage area to the stage. It is closely observed and only actors are permitted.
3) Lead Actors go to their private rooms to rehearse during breaks.
4) The large chandelier is attached with bolts to the floor of the attic.
5) Only actors are allowed on stage.
6) The Light Technicians have keycards to Light Control Room.
7) There is a light rack above the stage that might prove useful.
8) The prop gun used for the execution in the opera is an exact replica of a real World War I pistol.


This by far the most interesting level of the game and it is easy to make the whole hit look like an accident. Nobody can place you at the scene and you can watch the hit take place from a distance. To start with, head up into the foyer and talk to the receptionist through the small window. He’ll give you your coat in a cut scene and you will see 47 remove a world war gun out and hand back his coat. Continue to chat with this receptionist and wait for the janitor in the green to enter the toilet alone. Sedate him, steal his uniform and hide his body in the box to the side. If you bought any weapons, you can hide it in his toolbox, but it isn’t necessary. Walk out the toilets and head down the steps. You’ll need to take the route that goes to the right. Continue walking this path until you see a painter painting a door. Head through this door and down the steps. Keep following a dark sign beside the door – this will take you to the area you’ll need to get to in order to set up the hit. The route is as follows. You’ll come to a larger room with steps coming down the right. Head down them and through the door at the bottom. Keep following the route and you’ll eventually come across a shower block, which has women or men in, depending on what door you enter. Proceed through this room and out the door into the VIP area. You’ll need to look out for a door with a star next to it. It should be in the middle. Distract the bodyguard at the end of the corridor or wait for him to go into the toilet. Head into the room and hide in the closet.

Wait in the closet for a while (sometimes this can take about 5 minutes if you are unlucky). Eventually the execution scene should finish and an actor will come into the room. He’ll practice shooting the prop gun and then place it on his desk. He’ll then go to the toilet. Whilst he is out of the room, take the prop gun and put down the real gun. Quickly exit the dressing room and head through the double doors opposite the dressing room. Climb up the stairs and onto the stage lighting. Place a mine on the rigging (an option should appear at one point) and then hide through the door – just ensure the other maintenance guy doesn’t see you do it. Proceed along the pigeon-filled room and down the ladder. At the bottom, run around the base of the dome and climb down the gap. You can see the stage here. Watch the execution scene and you’ll see the actor shoot the target for you with the real WW1 gun. After a bit of confusion, watch the second target run on stage to see what is going on (be careful – a split screen sometimes appears when somebody discovers the body of the first hit – just make sure the second target is on stage). Soon as he stands above his dead mate, detonate the bomb and the light rigging will come crashing down and kill the second target. Climb back up into the room with the dome and exit down the stairs and watch the security guards coming up to investigate. Head back along the route you took to get to the dressing room and escape out the front door. Nobody knows that you were there and everything looks like an accident. Well done – mission complete! If playing on a higher difficulty level, ensure you nip back into the toilets and retrieve your suit as soon as the coast is clear. This will save you a bit of money.

FLATLINE

Targets:
Unknown name – but you have to identify him in the level (he wears a blue suit)
Man in pink suit (patient)
Man in green suit (patient)

Intel:
1) Admission papers are required to check-in. Future patients often wait in the park outside.
2) Troublesome patients are often confined to the medical wing.
3) The brochure lists some interesting facilities such as a library, a gymnasium, and a large spa area.
4) Therapists occasionally get contacted for private sessions.
5) Some guests hide stashes of alcohol in quiet places.
6) Weight Lifting can be fatal.
7) Some guests cheat on the spa's strict diet by smuggling camping stoves into their rooms.
8) Deceased patients are taken straight from the medical wing to the morgue.

The start of this level is quite easy. Run up the hill and pass the dumpster where a patient is hiding. Then proceed up further until you come across a prospective patient waiting and smoking by the fountain. On rookie difficulty it is unlikely he’ll be looking at his admission papers, but sometimes it’s best to distract him. Pick up the admission papers on the bench and proceed up the hill to the rehab clinic entrance. Walk through to reception and place the admission papers on the desk. Head into the room adjacent to the desk and change into the patient robes. Head back out and the guard will search you. Hand over any weapons if you have any and proceed into the clinic. Look out for a therapist and follow him upstairs. He’ll head into a private room - follow him and dispose of him, before stealing his uniform. If you don’t fancy this option, in the private therapy room opposite (you’ll need to pick the lock) there will be a free therapist uniform lying around. I suggest you take the latter option.

Once looking like a therapist, head into the room down the corridor that overlooks the library. You will have the option to place a bomb on the chain that holds up the chandelier. Do so and proceed through the room to the other side of the top floor. The receptionist told you that you are staying in Room A, so head in and out onto the balcony. The first target should be in the adjacent room (Room D). Wait until he leaves and then sabotage his gas supply. This will cause an explosion later on in the level and will kill him when he starts cooking again. A nice little accident that one…

Head over to the medical wing, which will be next to a room with CCTV cameras and a cage door. This room will be guarded by a police officer. You’ll want to steal the videotape, keycard and quite possibly the policeman’s uniform. Distract him by walking outside and breaking the utility box. I suggest you hide and save before he comes out to investigate. Sedate him, steal his uniform and hide his body in a nearby dumpster. Just make sure he doesn’t shout or shoot, as you’ll have patient bodyguards storm you. Go back inside, pick up the keycard steal the uniform and head through the keycard-locked doors and through to a white room. You’ll be unwise to try and get in to the office at the moment. Head down the nearby stairs and try and get an orderly in one of the empty rooms. Wait until you are alone with him in the room and sedate him. Take his uniform, stun gun and cell key and then hide his body in the wash basket nearby. Try and do this without raising the attention of the other people down here. Go back upstairs to the office. Either go to the holding cells through the office, or go directly through the door adjacent to the office. Head down the stairs and find the agent (he has reddish/ginger hair). Open the door and walk in. Talk to him and then inject him with the death-faking serum. Head out of the cell and prepare to take out the optional targets that your agency has informed you about. Head back to the room where you took out the orderly and change back into the police officer uniform. Then head back to the main building (this can be done by heading up the staircase at the end of the corridor.

Head to the library and watch out for the man in pink take a drink from a bottle that is hiding in a globe. When he takes the bottle, hit the detonator switch and the chandelier will come crashing down on him (remember you planted a bomb earlier). Now, remove yourself from the area and head over to the gym. There should be your last target there. When he is weight lifting, head over and stand behind him. Wait until nobody is looking and then drop the weights on his neck. This will look like he dropped it on himself. By now the main target should be dead, as the gas should have exploded. Leave the rehab through the main door. Now head down the hill to the morgue. You’ll have access to it immediately. Wait until the orderly leaves (if he hasn’t done so already) and revive the agent. Leave through the other door in the morgue to complete the level.

A NEW LIFE

Targets:
Vinnie “Slugger” Sinistra
A microfilm hidden in jewellery (you don’t kill it, but steal it…)

Intel:
1) Garbage trucks can dispose of all kinds of waste.
2) The surveillance team has an unhealthy appetite for donuts.
3) Vinnie has complained about the neighbour’s son taking pot shots into the garden with an airgun.
4) Vinnie lives close to a veterinary surgeon. Sometimes a vet needs to tranquillise wild animals!
5) Rumour has it that Vinnie's wife flirts with hired staff, but Vinnie trusts her company.
6) Some field agents are too nosy in teenage girls' rooms.
7) A barbeque is being prepared for the party. Be careful with flammable liquids!
8) Vinnie just bought a very expensive and unusual necklace for his wife.

This level is great fun as it is a cinch to complete. Head up the street and into the vet’s garage, but make sure you watch out the nosey neighbour who is cutting her hedge. Wait until she crouches down and run into the garage. Pick the lock and steal the bottle of ether and the tranquilliser darts. Wait until the lady is crouching down again and then run across the road to the van that has a hotdog on it. Wait until everybody is looking away and then inject poison into the donuts. Carry the donuts over the road to the van and select the option to place the donuts on the floor. 47 will knock on the van door and you will see that there are two FBI agents inside. They will consume the poisoned donuts and quickly die. Open the van door and close them immediately when inside. Steal the videotape and one of the FBI agents’ uniform. This will give you access to the house over the road (the one with the FBI guards outside).

Head directly through the house into the garden and head towards the shed in the far right hand corner. When the pool cleaner and guards aren’t looking, pick the lock and steal the lighter fluid that lies inside. Head directly to the barbeque that is on the poolside and fill it with lighter fluid. Nobody ever seems to notice this strange behaviour. Now, leave the garden and head upstairs into the second room on the left. It should be pink and a guard will be patrolling the area. Pour the ether on the girl’s underwear that lies on the table opposite in the door. Eventually the guard will give into temptation and take a deep sniff. Night night! He’ll be out for the count. By now, the barbeque would have set fire to the wife and she’ll be a charred corpse in the pool. Before going down, place a mine in Vinnie’s room (the one on the right). Head downstairs (keeping an eye out for Vinnie – you’ll need to detonate ASAP when he walks over the mine). Head out into the pool and over to the corpse of the lady. It’s not suspicious to take the microfilm, but it is suspicious to move her. Leave her where she is and exit the house the way you came in. To complete the level, exit the street via the gate at the start of the level. Simple level to complete – and can be completed in several ways (i.e. the woman can be seduced, killed/sedated in the usual way and she can even be poisoned by injecting the many bottles of wine with poison). THE MURDER OF CROWS

Intel:
1) Walkie-talkies transmit everything - even background sound and music, which could reveal someone's location.
2) Clubs usually have a back entrance for the staff.
3) Bookstore walls are like paper - you can overhear what's going on next door.
4) Clubs in this area are known for having hat-dress codes and music themes.
5) Some private apartments have a useful view.
6) Pianos can kill - especially when they are dropped from the sky.
7) A guy dressed as a yellow bird checked into a hotel room a couple of hours ago.

Before the mission starts, upgrade your miscellaneous items to obtain a second RU-AP mine. The level changes every time you play it, as the sniper’s position changes each time. Wait in the café and spy on the man in the red bird suit. He’ll leave the café and you’ll have to follow him. When he eventually goes into an alley, sneak up behind him, kill him and then steal his bird uniform. Hide his body in a nearby dumpster. Pick up the briefcase and plant a mine in there. Head over to the northwest corner of the map and up to the building with a big yellow bird outside. He’ll direct you upstairs. Go upstairs and through the door, before placing the suitcase by the target (not the yellow bird). Leave the room and walk onto the stairs quickly and then blow the detonator. Bye-bye target one. Return once the chaos has calmed and steal the walkie-talkie. Now leave the building.

Once back in the street, head across to the alleyway opposite and climb the boxes to the left. Climb all the way to the top, shimmy across the railings of the barrier, jump the balconies and plant a mine on the rope that suspends the piano to the side. What exactly a piano is doing here I do not know, but the idea to use it did come from Intel. There are two people talking below, but they won’t pay much notice of you. Check your map for a wandering target. She’ll be the one crushed by the piano. Wait until she stands directly below the piano before detonating the mine and crushing the target. Shame you can’t reclaim the money on the suit deposit!

Now it’s time to listen to the walkie-talkie and find out where the sniper is hiding. He is your third target. There are three possible hiding places for him (a rock bar, The Blue Oyster or a Latino Dancehall), but you can check your map to find out (the map of shops/bars 2nd floor). You won’t be able to gain access to the bars in that red bird costume, so you’ll need to take out a musician or a chef. The chefs are quite easy to take out, especially if you enter the kitchen of the correct club via the back door. Hide the chef’s body in the nearby freezer to hide his body. Be careful here as the kitchen usually has a fair bit of pedestrian traffic flowing through it. Once in a chef costume, it’s time to head upstairs and meet your bird… (no pun intended). He’ll be the guy in black. It’s up to you how you kill him. Quickly exit the building once he is dead and check your map for the exit. Make your way to this gate and press A to escape. Well done! If you want to play it again, the third target may be in a different room.

YOU BETTER WATCH OUT

Intel:
1) Don't expect any presents this year - Santa drinks too much.
2) The bartender knows how to help improve performance in the grottos!
3) Waiters often shower in the staff changing room.
4) Even small, annoying dogs eat sausages.
5) The glass-bottomed outdoor Jacuzzi looks down on the pier, 70 feet below.
6) Among high society, spiked drinks are all the rage.
7) Heavy light rigs are installed in the Photo Studio.
8) Lorne recently hired a former US Air force helicopter Pilot.

You’ve somehow gotten an invite to a Christmas party at a porn baron’s mansion – but I suggest you keep your eyes on the mission and not on the scantily clad lady Santas. Head along the pier and towards the lift. The lift should take you to the party floor. Head into the bar and the barman will give you quite a bit of information, but the most important is that Santa is usually drunk. Try and head into the kitchen when nobody is looking (it isn’t too hard to find) and poison the bottle of wine. Hide and Santa will pop in and start drinking the poison. Not the best way to make you popular with kiddies, you know, killing Santa. Anyway, take his clothes and hide Santa’s body in the freezer.

Dressed as Santa, you now have access to the guarded area by the bar. Walk on through and you should come across a man sat beside a waterfall. You’ll know he is the right guy as you can talk to him and he’ll tell you that he is a photographer. Sedate him when nobody is looking and drag his body into the waterfall (which just so happens to be a secret passage). Steal his outfit and head on through to find a lift. This will allow you to go up to studio floor. Remember; keep your eyes on the mission and not the photo shoot (well, I suppose you could drop by for a few minutes…). Make your way to the target’s private room and hide. Eventually he’ll drop by and go out onto his balcony. Sneak up behind him and push him to his snowy death. You can kill the horrible little dog if you want to, but there’s no need. Now escape the scene of the crime…

Head back to the waterfall and you should come across a pink room with several doors to private rooms. Head into the one nearest the waterfall and wait in the room for a girl with dark hair. This girl is an assassin and is carrying a gun. Kill her quickly before she kills you and steal her gun. Hide her body behind the couch (there is another girl passed out behind here). Hide the weapon and go down the nearby steps (they’re through a staff door) and look above for the bottom of the swimming pool. Shoot out the bottom and run back to the party floor. You’ve just killed another target. Get in the lift and down to the pier. Escape and finish the level using the boat you arrived in. Merry Christmas…

DEATH ON THE MISSISSIPPI

Targets:

All six members of the Gator Gang

Intel:
1) The engine room is off limits to passengers - the furnace is a dangerous workplace.
2) Man overboard - the wild waters of the river will cause certain death.
3) The captain's cake is being prepared in the galley in the rear of the 4th deck.
4) Only 1st Class Pursers are allowed in the Gators Private area.
5) The lower class kitchen prepares food for both the tourists on board as well as the Gators on the top deck. Extra flavour could be added.
6) The boss has received some heavy gear from a business alliance. The present is kept secure at the staff quarters.

I hate having to play this mission as there are loads of targets and the level is confined to a ship. However, there are lots of chances where you can dispose of bodies and make them look like accidents. First, head up the stairs in front of you and through the double doors. This is the 3rd deck, but don’t go up the stairs in this room, head through the next double doors and along the corridor, through another door and you should be in a large room with doors all around. There should be a pursuer in here (a man dressed in white). Wait until he goes into the rooms, quickly follow him and kill/sedate him. Steal his keycard and his uniform before heading back to the corridor towards room 309. Check your map to see if anybody is inside, if so sit back and wait, but if it is clear go in and hide in the closet. One of the Gator Gang will pop by shortly. Wait until he is alone before killing him. Another way to kill this target is to see when he is on the side of the boat, wait until no one is looking before pushing him overboard. The advantage of this second option is that it hides the body.

Now head back to where you started the level. Walk around this deck to the middle and enter the room below the gangway. Make sure nobody is around, as you’ll need to pick this lock. One of the Gator Gang is at the far end of this room. He is resting on a railing by part of the engine. Sneak up behind whilst nobody is looking and push him directly over the railing. Another target down and the body shouldn’t be found. If you need to kill him any other way, or kill anybody down here for that matter, dispose of them in the furnaces.

For the next bit, you’ll need a first class pursuer uniform (the same white suit as you are wearing, but they also wear a sailor’s cap). Sometimes it is easier to dispose of a sailor and steal his uniform (usually this gains a little more access to find one. I think you can gain access to the VIP section of 4th deck dressed as a sailor, but eventually you’ll need a first class pursuer outfit. On the 4th deck, there should be a kitchen that all people can access. There will be burgers in here. Pick them up; walk out and into the toilets nearby. Inject them with poison. Go through as a sailor into the VIP section. There should be a large kitchen with a cake – be careful. There is a first class pursuer in here and he brandishes a large kitchen knife. Take him out and hide his body in the freezer after stealing his uniform. Take the burgers upstairs onto top deck and a member of the Gator Gang’ll search you. Submit your weapons and go inside, placing the poisoned burgers in their common room. One of the Gators should eat them and die. Go back downstairs into the kitchen and find the birthday cake. This is for your main target. Place a mine in the cake and take it up to the same building. Head through the common room into the Skip’s office, placing the cake on the desk. Walk out the room and detonate the bomb when he comes for his birthday surprise. Several Gators will rush in to see what’s going on. You can either kill them now, alerting more guards, or wait until the chaos has calmed and you can dispose of the rest quietly. The latter is best as you can push them over the railings. Head back down to the bottom deck, through the engine room and exit via the back door. There will be a lifeboat on the back of the boat. Press A and it will allow you to escape, completing the mission. It was difficult one, but you’ve done it!

Intel:
1) Guns and shooting in outdoor areas don't make rednecks panic
2) The water is home to alligators.
3) The priest rings the Wedding Bell to announce the ceremony.
4) The Father's recently deceased brother is buried at the family graveyard.
5) The Groom can't keep himself away from the whipped cream on the wedding cake.


A hillbilly wedding is the setting for the next level. You will hear the sound of shotguns, but it isn’t aimed at you – it’s at the alligators in the water below. Best leave them to it as trying to push them will lead to a big fight. Hang around here and look across to the field where some dancing is taking place. Walk along the jetty and into the boathouse in the southwest of the map. A drunken man should walk towards you – let him pass and he’ll fall asleep against the wall. As he’s out for the count, you can steal his clothes and wedding invitation. He also has a six-shooter, so stash that away in you inventory. Now dressed as a wedding guest with a wedding invitation, you’ll have no problem accessing the main house.

Head up to the main house and through the front door. The guards won’t search you, so you can have your weapon with you – just in case things get nasty. Head straight through the house and into the back garden. You should see a lodge to the left of the map. Run towards it and climb the steps on the left of the building. You should see a bucket of chicken (alligator food). Place a mine in the bucket when nobody is watching and wait for a man in a brown jacket to pick it up. This is your first target. Get a safe distance away and then detonate the bucket when the target walks off with it. I guess he feels like chicken tonight, roast chicken tonight! There will be a bit of chaos, so evacuate the area as soon as possible.

Once everything is quiet, head towards the kitchen. There is an open window, so you can use that. The kitchen is the room with the massive wedding cake. Inject it with poison and get out of the area. The groom, as Intel suggests, likes to eat the frosting on the cake – perfect. Poisoned frosting ought to do the trick! Once the screen shows the second target eating himself to an early grave, head back to the dock with the alligator-shooting contest and escape on the boat that you came in. Level complete!

Apparently you can actually steal the priest’s uniform and perform the wedding. I haven’t done this, but in a walkthrough I had, it suggested this method. However, I found the method I completed it to be much easier and much quicker. This is because you can usually complete it before the wedding begins.

HOUSE OF CARDS

Intel:
1) It would be wise to check in at the reception as one of the first things you do at the Casino.
2) Security is very tight in high profile casinos, so the staff have key cards that only provide access to the floors they work on.
3) As requested, we have left an Agency Pickup in your hotel room, #701.
4) The Casino has strict fire-safety procedures. Easily accessible fire alarms are located on the top floors.
5) It's important to find good vantage points. Room balconies may provide this.
6) The VIP Lounge has been reserved all day by the Sheikh - only waiters are allowed in this area.
7) There is no cell phone coverage inside the casino to prevent cheating. Anyone receiving a call must step outside.
8) The items used in the trade are carried around in an ordinary looking suitcase so they don't catch too much attention.

I played through this level again recently, just playing it as an FPS and killing everybody. This works, but you don’t get too much money at the end because of the rubbish level rating. The following is how I completed it properly the first time.

Walk into the casino/hotel and follow the foyer around to the reception area. Check in and pick up the keycard. Avoid the casino for now – you can drop by a little later when you take out the third target. Go towards the elevators and take the left one. Wait until the doors close and then climb the hatch. The scientist is your first target and he’ll be going up on the lift you are hiding in. Equip the fibre wire and strangle him. Take his keycard. Drop into the lift and go to the seventh floor. Go to the corridor on the northwest of his floor. There should be a window you can climb out of an on to a balcony. Shimmy across the balcony and pass the strip poker game going on in the window nearby. Enter the building again and you’ll be in the second targets bedroom. Hide in the closet and wait for him to enter the room. Kill him and steal his clothes. Take the DNA briefcase and plant a bomb inside. It’s time to pay our Sheikh a visit in the casino. Take the lift down to the lobby and enter the casino. Check your map for the target, he should be in a private meeting in a VIP section of the club. You’ll be able to get passed them if you’re wearing the second target’s uniform. Don’t have any weapons on you, as you’ll get searched. Approach the quarters and leave the suitcase outside the partition. Leave the area and detonate the bomb. The blast should kill him. Escape via the casino fire exit and mission complete. If you are a perfectionist then go and collect the other briefcase, but usually you’ll be under attack by security. Mission complete.

A DANCE WITH THE DEVIL

Intel:
1) Trailers arrived earlier with decorations for the parties.
2) Information about who is trying to kill you might be found on a laptop on the top floor.
3) Don't go for a swim in the shark tanks at the Hell party.
4) Be careful playing with pyrotechnics - they could kill someone.
5) Bartenders are usually well informed.
6) Look out for the singer at the heaven party. Looks can be deceiving.
7) The devil is never to be trusted.
8) There is a food elevator, which might be used to transport more than just food.

Enter the building on the right and talk to the guard at the desk. Don’t worry about the CCTV camera; you can always steal the videotape later. Follow him as he goes to look for your missing suitcase and take him out when he is in the back room. Take his clothes and go back out into reception. Head east and down the stairs into the car park. Head down the vehicle ramp and look to your right and look for a van with the back doors open. On the floor (below the open doors), there should be an angel costume. Put on the clothes, as they are your ticket to the heaven party at the top of the building.

Now, dressed as the angel, walk up the ramp and towards the elevator on the left. This is the lift to the top floor. The guards will want to search you before you go up, so let them; handing over any weapons you have on you. Go up to the heaven party and through the double doors and into the main party room. There will be angel about to perform a karaoke song (press mute on your TV controller – it’s awful). Whilst this is taking place, go and chat with the barman. He’ll give you lots of information about the singer – which leads to 47’s alarm bells to start ringing – she’s an assassin. Although the barman fancies her rotten, you’ll be the first to leave with her… Once her performance is over, she’ll ask you to follow her. Do so – but don’t go in front. She takes you to a private room and this is where you’ll have to kill her – quickly. She’ll try and stab you with a stiletto knife (in a cut scene). With her dead, steal her stiletto and go to the laptop in the room. Interact with it and you’ll see your face on screen. Hide her body away from the door and head back out. Go directly to the lift, wait for the doors to close and then climb the hatch. Your first target is coming in to use the lift. Equip the fibre wire and strangle him from the top of your lift. Steal his party clothes. The devil on the mask is very similar to the one above the kidnapped lawyer in the first level, doesn’t it? Once this has been done, take his briefcase and climb over the top of the lift, through the lift maintenance and climb into the other elevator. Pres the lift button to go down to the hell party.

The scene is completely different down here – everything is hell-themed. Walk down the corridor, through the doors and then talk to the devil behind the bar. This is your next target – another hitman. He acknowledges you as either the 2nd best hitman in the world, with him the first. He’ll give you a chance to change that in a minute though. He’ll escort you to the Torture Chamber and lock the door. This is a tricky little gunfight as the room is quite dark, as well as the fact that there are items everywhere on the shelf. Pick up an automatic, which has been left carelessly on the side, and finish him. Head over to his dead body and steal the storage key. This is the only way out of the room. With the fight over, you now need to take out your last target.

Go out towards the bar, but carry on through the room until you get to a double door that will let you go backstage. Turn immediately right and up to the pyrotechnic machine. Wait until nobody is looking and rig the machine… Head back to the area above the dance floor and await your final target to start her dance. The fireworks are spectacular! Now head back to the lift, back up to the car park and leave the map the way you came in. Just think… only one more mission and that’s it (you hope…).

AMENDMENT XXV

Targets:
Mark Parchezzi III
Vice President

Intel:
1) The guards here will open fire if the metal detector detects weapons.
2) Any confiscated weapons at the museum entrance will be stored away by security.
3) The White House is surrounded by an iron gate - which varies in height.
4) Guards will respond if the laser alarm system in the museum is triggered.
5) The 1st lady has a dog, which is regularly taken out for a walk in the backyard.
6) The oval office has been the setting for many historical meetings.
7) Carpenters working in the main building have put up scaffolds for renovation purposes.

The final mission before you enact some sweet revenge… Not a big mission this, only your target is the vice president of the USA. Not big at all. Just enjoy your setting, the White House – not often you can wander around this freely. Have fun!

I recommend that you leave all you guns at home- the first port of call here is the museum – only you can only get through it by going through metal detectors. Head straight over to the left hand corner of the room (by the toilets) and wait for one of the workers in the red shirts to come in. Once he’s inside – dispose of him and steal his uniform. Head out of the toilets and look for the security office. Steal the keycard once everybody’s back is turned and head out into the East Wing Garden. There will be an armed guard on patrol out here. Take him out silently, steal his uniform and hide his body. Take his gun as well – it’s part of the uniform and gives you some firepower if you happen to need it. Look around this area for a trellis to climb. This will take you onto the roof of the East Wing. Run along the roof towards the scaffolding at the other end. Climb up, and try and enter the building without attracting any attention from the painters (it helps if one sees you and runs off to tell somebody, whilst you remain on the ladder – someone will investigate and find nothing, leaving the painter to continue is work – before climbing in). Go through the building and out onto the scaffolding on the other side of the building. Go down the ladder and you’ll now be on the roof of the West Wing. Run the length of the roof and wait beside the secured door at the other end. Eventually, a suited agent will come out. Get rid of him quickly and silently and drag his body around to the other side of the dome structure. Take his clothes, keycard and, most importantly, his weapon.

Using these items, you can enter the West Wing without any problems (although there are a lot of CCTV cameras around…). Head to the vice president’s office and kill him QUIETLY! I can’t stress that enough – there are hundreds of people with guns around here – you’re not likely to last five minutes out there alone! That’s your first target down. (*NOTE: The vice president does wander a bit – I’ve taken him out with a mine in the garden)

Your next target is in the Oval Office. You’ll need to proceed here to take him out. After a small cut scene, he detonates a bomb and the fire alarm goes off. This is a distraction – as he’s now going to run for it. Give chase and you’ll end up having a gunfight on the roof of the West Wing. Take him out (be careful as sometimes the alarms won’t cover the sound of the guns). Now, with your final target down, you can start the tedious work of getting back to the start of the level. Your escape is either the tour bus, or the gate leading out.

REQUIEM

EVERYBODY – LEAVE NO WITNESSES

Intel:
None… apart from Agent 47 better stock up on Vanish Stain Removal! He’s going to need something to remove the bloodstains from his nice white suit.

Well, this is a mission is one for revenge. If you aren’t quick, Agent 47 will be cremated – so save watching the credits for the end of the mission. Soon as you see the credits start, wiggle the left thumbstick and 47 will get up. It may even be a better idea to wait until the priest stands next to the coffin so you can use him as a human shield. To complete the level, just kill everybody. Well done… lets just hope there is yet another Hitman game…
