A quick start guide that should help you get through the single player game of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. There are also some helpful pointers for the game and some information about the online aspects of the game and how to improve your scores and unlock some extra online content.
The walkthrough details the way I set about completing each level but bare in mind there are many ways to complete each mission so it is worth experimenting and trying to find better ways to complete each mission.

POINTERS

Use your team: You are part of a team of three. You can quite easily tell team mates where to go and to kill certain terrorists first. Use them to enter rooms via certain doors and to heal each other should they get injured.

Know your weapons: There are quite a wide range of weapons available in the game as well as equipment - it is worth playing around to see what weapons suit your style of play the best. Some of the various grenades can be very helpful for certain situations so think about what equipment you carry.

Use the map - Pressing the back button during missions brings up a map showing some key info such as the location of spotted terrorists and ladders, rappel points etc.

Enemies: Enemies tend to move around a bit differently each time you play so it can be hard to pin point each enemy in this walkthrough - they also react to noise etc. so if you are loud when you enter certain areas they may kill hostages or gather together to hunt you down. Use the map to locate some of the terrorists when you can.

Use the snake cam: A key piece of kit. Use it under most doors to check the way forward is clear. Also if you highlight and enemy with the cursor and press the back button it will order your team members to kill that enemy first on entry.

Blind Fire: In areas where you are under heavy fire it is worth using the blind fire to force enemies into cover to allow you to re-position or to get a better shot at them.

Re-load: Try keep your weapon fully loaded when you can - never know when you might face a room full of enemies. Also note that the enemy has to reload too - an ideal time to shoot at them.



MISSION WALKTHROUGH

MEXICO STREETS

MISSION OBJECTIVE - REGROUP WITH TEAM
The game starts with some simple moves to get you used to the controls of the game. Firstly press A to fast rope down from the chopper. Run to the near by wall and duck behind it and peer round the end of the wall to take down the enemy at the end of the road.
I tend to put the silencer on my primary weapon and to change the fire rate to 3 bullets to give me more accuracy.
Make your way down the road and a white circle and a distance marker will appear - this shows you where you need to make your way to and how far from your current position it is.
Make your way to the wall and duck behind it. Two enemies will appear so take your time and kill them from behind cover, only popping up to take a few shots.
Head to the alley on the left and at the end take down the two enemies. Head towards the street and kill the enemies at the end of the street then head over to the next alley. At the end of this alley head right and into the building on the other side of the street. Take out the enemies inside the first room then head to the door ahead of you.
Aim at the bottom of the door and use the snake cam to identify the enemies inside. Then get in cover beside the door and open the door and kill the enemies inside.
Head up the stairs and into the room on the left and climb the ladder. Kill the enemy on the roof then rappel down the side of the building and get into cover behind the nearby object.
Shoot the first two enemies you see then head down the street. Watch out for the other guy behind the car. When you reach the car you'll need to use a smoke grenade to prevent the enemies from seeing you then either use your thermals to see through the smoke or kill the enemies from a distance before moving on. Head through the small garden and down the stairs to the left.
At the bottom of the stairs there is an enemy up high and one that jumps over. Kill them both then jump over the metal fence.
Your team will land on the top of a church so head down the alley and kill the enemies on the street outside the church. When they are dead head into the church and up stairs to regroup with your team.
You can direct your team by pointing the cross hairs at a location and pressing A. Head back downstairs in the church and prepare to be attacked in the hall of the church. I find it best to order your team behind the desk and the end nearest the stairs and for you to get into cover at the wall at the bottom of the stairs and pick enemies off as they enter the church.
When they are all dead head through the far end of the church and out into the street then head left and order your team to blow open the doors. Your team should clear the enemies in the area then order them to move down the alley on the right. Have them get in position beside the nearby door to the main building in the middle then go to another door and use the snake cam. Identify two enemies for your team to take out then order them in - either frag and clear or open and clear would be best here.
When you hear them enter open your door and kill any remaining enemies. Head out the door and order your team to get into position at the double doors at the bottom of the stairs. Head up the stairs and use the snake cam on the door. Order your team to frag and clear and open your door and shoot the enemies on the top level. Then head to the marker and order your team to fast rope down.


TRAINYARD

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE THE CIVILLIAN HOSTAGES
Head out the door and stick to the left. Order your team to take cover at the train cart ahead and pick of the enemies from a distance. When you think you got them all order your team through the door and head up the stairs and take out the two guys.
Head outside and then go to the right side of the tracks and make your way down killing the enemies on the way. At the end climb the ladder and enter the building. Proceed into the next room. Use your snake cam on the next door and you'll see three hostages and three terrorists.
Tag two of the terrorists and have your team mates stack up on the door. Go round to the next door and order them to flash and clear then when you hear the flash go off open your door and take out any terrorists still standing.
Head out the door and order your team mates to fast rope down. Stay up top and pick on the enemies from a distance up high. Then fast rope down and go left and round the other side of the train carts then head to the building on the left. Order your team to open and clear and head in and down the stairs and take out the enemies inside the tunnel and inside the train building. Move through and up the stairs and into the room. Through the next room there is rappel lines so order your team down the mine shaft and go down yourself.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: CAPTURE IRENA ALIVE IN THE MINES
You'll now be in the mine. Move forward and down the tunnel to the left. You'll see a hole in the wall and there are a few enemies in the next area. Stay behind cover at this wall and shoot the guys who come up the stairs then order your team down the stairs and shoot any remaining terrorists in the area. Head down and through the door at the bottom. You'll see Irena so make your way forward and capture her.

It's a trap, you'll get up and find yourself alone with just your secondary weapon, you need to go after your team. Go to the right then down the hallway to the left. Kill the guy on your left the n get in cover on the right and kill the guy who comes from ahead of you. Take the shot gun and head down the left path. There are a few enemies here so take cover and kill them all and move down. You need to head for the marker but watch out for enemies along the way, there are quite a few in the room beside the marker on both the left and right sides so take things easy.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE TEAM MATES
Head through the door and then climb up the rappel line. Kill the guy at the top and take his weapon. Take out the other guys that enter and go through the door and you'll reach the room where the guy was shot.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH & CLEAR EXTRACTION POINT
Head through the double red doors into the next area. Kill all the enemies in this area (on your level and the levels below) and then make your way down the stairs to the very bottom. Head to the left and up the metal staircase to the double grey door. Open it and kill the guard on the top level then make your way over to the far left of the top level and take out all the enemies below and make your way down and head for the marker and wait for the chopper. When it arrives jump in.
Sort out your equipment and get ready for Vegas.

LAS VEGAS STRIP

MISSION OBJECTIVE: BREACH INTO CASINO
Fast rope down from the chopper and regroup with your new team. Quite a straight forward start to the level. You need to proceed down the road taking out all of the enemies you encounter and enter the casino. There are a few tricky parts where there are a lot of enemies but just keep in a cover position, send your team mates down one side of the road behind cover and keep your eye on your tactical map to locate the spotted enemies that are in the area. When you reach the marker order your team to breach the wall then head inside the casino. Proceed through the office areas to the marker. Be sure to use the snake cam and order your team mates to open and clear on any rooms with terrorists.

CASINO

Head through the white door in the next room and get your team to stack up on the gold door. Use the snake cam and tag the two guys nearby. Head back along the corridor and get ready by the other gold door. Order your team to open and clear and open your door. Aim down the left and take out the two guys. Move with your team sending them down the middle (always behind cover though) and you stick to the left. Clear the room and move into the next casino room. There are quite a few guys in the cash desk area who come out so watch out.
Take them all out then grab some equipment from the box and head through the door and rappel down the line.

You'll now be inside the casino vault.
MISSION OBJECTIVE: HACK SECURITY NETWORK TO FIND SMYTHE'S LOCATION

Move around the vent and get your team to stand beside the first cover and move round to the last cover. Switch your team to assault mode and start shooting the bad guys until you clear the vault. Move into the second part of the vault and stick to cover as more terrorists attack from all sides. Move through the double doors at the end when all is clear and head right, have your team mount up on the double doors on the right and make your way through the single door on the left and head up the stairs. Open the door at the top and tag two of the terrorists then order your team in and shoot the others. Kill the terrorists then head for the marker and get your team to hack the computer.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE VIP DR. SMYTHE
Terrorists will attack from the left and right so get into a good position and kill them. There will also be some on the level below so take them down then head down the stairs and through the double doors on the left. Go through the second door on the right and have your team frag and clear the room. Continue along and at the next double door have your team stack up and use the snake cam to tag the two terrorists behind the door. Get them to breech the door when the terrorists are just the other side of it then continue past and up the stairs. Stack up on the double doors and tag any terrorists you see. Order your team to smoke and clear and stay at the door as more terrorists appear so take them out from cover.
You need to make your way up the stairs to the very top. Using the escalator stairs and the back staircase to get there. Each level has a few enemies on it so be careful and remember to stick to cover and use your team members.
At the top move through the glass doors and in through the door on the left. You need to be quite quick here. Order your team to stack up on the first door and grab some equipment from the box. Order your team to flash and clear and head in through the second door and kill all the terrorists but watch out for the hostages. Kill the terrorists who come in the far door then head out through that door.

Head along the corridor and you'll reach a room that has a gap in the middle and two paths down each side. Send your team mates down one side and you take the other. Kill all the terrorists on this level and the level below, move down and through the door on the far side (There is a door on the right that sneaks into the side of the large keno room which would be your best entry point). Clear this room and move through the doors on the far left and along the corridor. In the next area is where the hostage is located. On the level you are on there are rappel points. First head down the stairs on the left and have your team mates stack up on the door. Quickly head back up and pick a rappel point on the outside of the building.
Order your team to flash and clear and to fire at will and start rappelling down and shooting as many of the bad guys as you can. When it is clear get the hostage to follow you and move out of the room. Order bravo down to the end of the hall as there is a guy there. Then at the next door order them to smoke and clear. In this room grab some equipment and order your team to open and clear on the gold door ahead. Get the hostage to hold position and go down the small steps and through the other gold door. Kill all the terrorists on both levels in the casino room and move up the escalator to make sure it is clear. Clear the small corridor to the left halfway up the escalators then go back for the hostage and move along this corridor and out to the parking garage and head for the marker.
When the chopper comes get inside.

OTHER CASINO

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE NEWS REPORTER
You'll fast rope down from the chopper and land on the roof. Order your team mates to rappel down one of the outer rappel points and you stay on the room. Order them to breach in and you provide covering fire from up on the roof. Take out the terrorists then fast rope down yourself. Head up the stairs on the right and through the door at the end. Get your team to stack up on the door just ahead of you (Right hand side of the next large room) and then make your way to the opposite door on the other side. Order them to smoke and clear and fire at will and open your door and kill all the terrorists. Head through the large doorway at the far end of the room and into the next hallway. Have your team stack up on one of the double doors and then go to the right and the single door at the top of the escalators.
Use the snake cam to see inside then order your team to open and clear and go in and kill the terrorists in your room. Kill all of the terrorists in this part, on the same level as you and below. When you have killed all the terrorists fast rope down and then go up the stairs in the middle and through the doorway then fast rope down over the side on the left.

Move into the next hallway and order your team to stack up on the door on the left. Use the snake cam to highlight the two guys closest to the hostage with guns. Head up the escalators to the far right and when you reach the first double doors on the right order your team to flash and clear and then go in the door and shoot the two guys on the higher level. Head downstairs and get ready for some more terrorists to enter from the stairs on the far side. Once you have killed them all head up the stairs and through the doorway ahead. Proceed out side to the mall area and order your team mates to take cover behind the small wall. Stick to the left and kill the nearby enemies then head up the ladder on the left. You should be able to pick of the remaining enemies from here. More enemies will attack to try to take as many of them down as possible.
Also watch your back as there is another ladder further along which enemies often come up after you. Order your team forward to another wall and move along and down the ladder at the far end of this path. Kill any terrorists in this section then head for the middle of the cross section and go left towards the marker. There is a mounted machine gun so take that out first before killing the other terrorists that attack from the right. Once they are all dead head down the stairs on the right and through the door then fast rope down.


MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE AND HACK THE TRANSMITTER IN THE VAN
Head up the stairs ahead of you and follow the corridor round to the right. There are a few armed terrorists in the next hallway so take them out from cover then head up the nearby stairs. Order your team to stack up on the door then head round to the right and get in position at the next door. Order your team to frag and clear and head in the room and clear the remaining terrorists. Head up the stairs and through the door on the right then through the door up the small set of stairs on the left. There are quite a few terrorists in the next few rooms so stick in cover and use your team mates. Clear the room on both levels then head along the hallway on the back left and through the door and then climb the ladder. Head through the door on the right and clear the rooms on this level then climb the stairs in the kitchen area (back left room) and have your team stack up on the door.
Head back downstairs and go up the other set of stairs and head towards the double doors ahead of you. Order your team to frag and clear and then enter the room and kill the remaining terrorists. Go up the small set of stairs at the other end of the room and through the door and then head down the stairs on the left. Order your team to stack up on the door then go back up the stairs and in the room on your left. Get some equipment from the supply box (Get a sniper rifle) and then get in position at the window. Take out the sniper at the far end then order your team to open and clear. Head out the office and go left and outside using the door. Kill the rest of the terrorists then head to the van and order your team to hack the computer. More enemies will attack from further down the street. Use the sniper rifle to take them out then when they are all down head to the extraction point.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: ASSULT THE TOWER AND MAKE YOUR WAY DOWN
Fast rope down from the chopper then head through the door on the right and go down the stairs. Order your team to stack up on the double doors on your right and get them to breach and clear. You open the other double doors and kill the two guys in the kitchen area. Head through and kill the two guys behind the bar and order your team to regroup. Head down the stairs and get into cover and kill all the terrorists in this room before going down the next set of stairs. Order your team to open and clear the first door on the left and then go through and get them to frag and clear on the next room. Kill all the terrorists here then go through to the other side and stack up on the double doors. Get your team to frag and clear then head out and clear the roof top of any terrorists then use the rappel points at the edge to head down.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE DR. WILLIAMS
Order your team to use the rappel and head down and then head through the door on the left and fast rope down. Snake cam the door and highlight the two terrorists and order your team to break in. Get your team to stack up on the first double door then head round to the other door. Order them to frag and clear then head in once the frag has detonated. Head through the next door and kill the terrorists. Get your team to stack up and use the snake cam - you'll see the hostage. Highlight the two terrorists closest to him then head through the door on the left and stack up on the other door. Order a flash and clear and enter and kill all the terrorists then head over to the hostage.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: DEFUSE THE BOMB LOCATED IN THE BAR OF THE TOWER
Grab some equipment from the box then head through the door on the left. Order your team to stack up on the double doors then go up the stairs. Order your team to smoke and clear and head through your door and kill the terrorists on the upper level. Use the elevated position to direct your team to cover and take out terrorists on the level below. Once they are all dead head down the stairs and through the door on the right. Head through the next set of doors and kill the terrorists. Head down the stairs and kill the remaining terrorists. Get your team to stack up on the double doors and then head outside and crouch at the windows near the other door. Order your team to flash and clear then shoot the guys on the upper balcony from outside then head inside and get the others. Order your team to defuse the bomb.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: EXTRACT TO CHOPPER
Head out of the room and back up the stairs. The door on the right will open and a terrorist will come out. Kill him then head up the stairs and onto the roof. Rappel down then make your way over to the chopper and climb in.


DANTE's CASINO

MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE GABRIEL AND KAN
Fast rope down from the chopper and get into cover at the edge. Take out the terrorists below and order your team down to behind the wall. Kill all the terrorists here then climb the ladder at the back right. Take out the terrorists in this upper area from behind cover and moving up to the left and then round. Once they are all dead use the rappel points and rappel down. Kill the guys on the room from outside then breach in and head down the stairs to the marker.
Shoot the two guys at the bottom of the first level of stairs then go down. Order your team to use the fast rope positions found behind the stairs then continue on and use the other fast rope point. This part is rather simple as you just need to continue down each level using the stairs and killing all of the enemies until you reach the marker. After the marker you'll reach a room with 2 doors. Get your team to stack up and breach and clear the door and you enter via the other door. Kill the terrorists inside then head through the door. Get your team to stack up again and frag and clear the next room. Continue forward doing the same again. You'll reach some stairs with a supply box at the bottom of them. Re-supply then get your team to stack up on the door and breach and clear. Go round to the other way into the room and kill all the terrorists - watch out though as they come from other doors and from the roof.
Go through to the next room and through the door on the left. Crouch past the windows till you reach the door. Get your team to stack up then sneak back past the windows and through the opposite door and up the stairs. Kill the guy at the top of the stairs then order your team to breach and clear. From your position kill the guy on the mounted turret across from you then the guys on the lower level then head down the other stairs and towards the marker. Open the door and kill the terrorists. More come from downstairs so kill them and head up the stairs, it can be a bit tricky here as there are quite a few guys to deal with. Head along the corridor and through the door towards the marker. You should see Gabriel at the top of the stairs so head up to him to release him.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE GABRIEL IN THE ARCADE
The next part is quite tricky as a whole bunch on enemies attack from all over the place. Get into cover on your right and kill them all, revive any downed members of your team. When you take them all out Gabriel will run down the stairs and down the stairs on your left. Follow him down then go through the open doorway in the middle. A guy will come through the door ahead. The next part is very tricky. There are two mounted machine guns to the left, one high one low as well as guys on both levels near you and at the far end. If you still have the sniper rifle and some smoke grenades you should be able to use them to kill the mounted guns, just keep an eye all round you though. When all the terrorists are dead head down the room and through the door on the left and down the stairs.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH KAN IN THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

Head out the door ahead and sneak down to the small wall. You'll see two guys on the other side as well as a sniper on both the top left and top right walkways. Kill them all then kill the guy on the far right of the lower level and head over that way. At the end turn to the left and kill the guys up that way too. Climb the ladder on the left and up onto the second level, there is another sniper at the back so kill him. Clear the area of enemies then head towards the marker. Re-supply then head through the tunnel and use the fast rope to go down. Head into the grey pipe and shoot a couple of terrorists inside then group up with Kan.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: EXTRACT INFO FROM THE TERRORIST DATA HUB
Head out into the open area and clear it of the terrorists. Climb up the side to the upper level and clear it too. There are quite a few enemies here so be careful. When your done head round towards the marker and re-supply. Get your team to stack up on the door at the top of the stairs and get them to smoke and clear and fire at will. Move up one side and order your team to move up the other. Watch out for enemies coming down from the level above you. Clear the area of terrorists then move inside the casino. Order your team to get behind the machines on the left and take cover behind a nearby box. Quite a few terrorists attack you from the stairs ahead so take them all out before moving up the stairs to the marker.

Head round the corridor and have your team stack up on the first door you come too straight ahead of you. Head up the stairs to your left and kill the one guy on the upper level then head back down the stairs. Have your team breach and clear and kill all the terrorists in the room. Head out the door at the back left and up the stairs, kill the two guys here then go up to the top of the stairs and along the corridor. Kill all the terrorists in the theatre - both on the stage and in the seating area then head down and go through the door to the left of the stage towards the backstage area. Order your team to frag and clear the next room then re-supply at the supply crate. Kill the two terrorists out the other door of this room then head onto the stage.
On the stage order your team to hack the computer then get one of them into position behind cover on the left of the stage and you get into cover on the right. Then you just need to kill all the terrorists and stay alive. This bit might take a few attempts. When you are past this part head up the ladder and along the platform and through the door. Then just head up the stairs and into the chopper on the roof.


NEVADA DAM

Fast rope down from the chopper then head over and you'll see a guy coming towards you. Listen to him then head past him and terrorists will attack you. Kill them all then head down the stairs on the left hand side. Kill all the terrorists in the room and order your team to defuse the bomb. Once this is done head out the single door and through the next single door. Make your way down the stairs and kill the terrorists you encounter.
MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE DAM TECHNICIAN

Head down the through the next room, you'll come to a room with two doors leading into the next room, order your team to stack up and flash and clear and kill the terrorists and rescue the technician.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: ESCORT TECHNICIAN TO CONTROL CENTRE
Follow the technician through the door into the tunnel, continue along the walkway and out and down the stairs. Terrorists will attack you so kill them all then have your team stack up on the door at the top of the stairs. Have them frag and clear and kill all the terrorists in the room. The technician will begin to work on the computer. When he is done head out the other door and down the stairs, get your team to stack up on the door on the right and frag and clear. Head through the other door and through the next door and kill all the terrorists.
Head along to the marker and have your team hack the computer. More enemies will come from both the left and right so get your other team mate into position to cover the left and when the door opens to your right lob a frag grenade in quickly to kill the guys in there. Keep your team mate that is hacking the computer covered and kill the remaining terrorists until the doors open.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: FIND ENTRANCE TO SECRET LAB
Head back down the walkway and to the left and in through the large opening and go up the stairs. Get your team to smoke and clear the room and kill the terrorists inside. Head through the door on the right and proceed to the marker. You'll enter the large turbine room, make your way round to the left and watch out for the guys coming through the windows on the left and coming from the roof in the centre. Kill the terrorists then order your team down the stairs in the middle. Kill the other terrorists before heading along the corridor at the back to the far left of the room. Kill the terrorists that attack here and then head up the stairs and into the room on the left and then down the staircase and through the door at the bottom. GO down the stairs, you can look over the rails about halfway down and pick off the enemies below.
Head down the the bottom and kill the terrorists to the left then order your team to smoke and clear the room across from you then head in and go through the door in the next room on the right. Head down the stairs then use the fast rope.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: SAVE DR. WILLIAMS AND DR. SMYTHE
Head through the door and talk to the guy then go left. You'll come under pretty heavy fire so get in position behind a vehicle and kill all of the terrorists then head through the doorway at the end. Get your team to stack up on the doorway to the left and breach and clear the room then open the door and go into the next room. Get your team to stack up on the door on the left then stack up on the other door. Have your team flash and clear the room then head in and kill the remaining terrorists.
Head out the other door and clear the large open room of all terrorists. Head to the left and enter through the double doors, stack up on the next set of doors and put your night vision goggles on. Kill all the terrorists then head through the hole on the right hand side wall and go right. Head through the office and through the metal detector at the far right and through the door. Get your team to stack up on the far left door then go down the stairs and stack up on the door. Get your team to flash and clear and head in and clear the room of terrorists then head along the corridor at the back of the room.
Make your way through the lab area, there are a few tricky enemies here so be careful. At the end the hostages are located in the room with 4 terrorists. Get your team to stack up on the door and highlight two enemies with the snake cam. Head round to the other door and order your team to flash and clear then take out all the terrorists.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: TRACK DOWN IRENA AND KILL HER
Head through the door and go upstairs and through the door at the end of the hall. Have your team go through the double doors and clear the room, head through the other door and give them some support from the other side. Head through the opening and kill the terrorist here then into the next room and kill the terrorists on all levels. Go up stairs and follow the corridor round towards the marker. You'll come to a corridor with two doors. Have your team stack up on the first door and flash and clear and you go through the next door and kill the terrorists. GO down the stairs and kill the remaining terrorists. Re-supply at the supply crate then have your team stack up on the door and you go to the door on the left. Order your team to frag and clear then head in and kill all the terrorists. Then order your team to hack the computer and protect them as more terrorists attack.
Go up the stairs and you'll see Irena in a room but you can't shoot her, head round and wait for the blast doors to open then go through and round the corridor. Clear the room on both levels and head up the stairs and kill Irena then jump in the elevator.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH TOP OF THE DAM & DESTROY MISSILE
Head along the corridor at the left and kill the guy at the bottom of the stairs then go up the stairs and kill the guy there then get your team to stack up on the door. Head back and go up the other stairs and kill the two guys there then order your team to open and clear and start killing the terrorists. Order your team to set up explosives on the missile. Kill all the terrorists then continue along the dam.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH GABRIEL & CHOPPER
Continue along the dam and you'll see your other team mates, shoot the last few terrorists then regroup with your team to finish the game.




ONLINE PLAY
There are various modes of online play in the game ranging from various death match style game modes to capturing vital intel and co-op story mode which has you playing through the single player game but with other gamers playing the part of your team.

At the start of online play you'll be able to create your character and how they look. With an Xbox Live vision cam you can place your own image on the characters face.
You are able to edit your appearance or unlock extra equipment and clothing for your character by playing multiplayer modes. You can also re upload your facial image at any point in the online menus.


ONLINE GAME MODES

Attack & Defend: Two team fight for control of an objective - one team tries to steal it while the other defends it
Sharpshooter: Free-for-all combat with respawns, player with most kills wins
Team Sharpshooter: Two teams fight it out. Team with most kills at the end of the time wins
Co-op terrorist hunt: You and a team of friends must locate and kill all terrorists on certain maps
Co-op story: Play the single player story mode with friends as your team mates
Retrieval: Two teams must find the biohazard canister and deliver it to their base to score points. Team with most points wins.
Survival: No respawns, last person alive wins
Team Survival: Two teams compete trying to eliminate all members of the opposite team. Team with players still alive wins


RANKS
As you play through the various online modes you will be given points at the end of each round (More points for the better you do), these points allow you to progress through the various ranks. Each time you achieve a new rank you will unlock additional weapons, equipment and clothing for you to use on your online character.
You can edit your characters equipment and weapons in the outfitting section of the online menu.

A quick start guide that should help you get through the single player game of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. There are also some helpful pointers for the game and some information about the online aspects of the game and how to improve your scores and unlock some extra online content.
The walkthrough details the way I set about completing each level but bare in mind there are many ways to complete each mission so it is worth experimenting and trying to find better ways to complete each mission.

POINTERS

Use your team: You are part of a team of three. You can quite easily tell team mates where to go and to kill certain terrorists first. Use them to enter rooms via certain doors and to heal each other should they get injured.

Know your weapons: There are quite a wide range of weapons available in the game as well as equipment - it is worth playing around to see what weapons suit your style of play the best. Some of the various grenades can be very helpful for certain situations so think about what equipment you carry.

Use the map - Pressing the back button during missions brings up a map showing some key info such as the location of spotted terrorists and ladders, rappel points etc.

Enemies: Enemies tend to move around a bit differently each time you play so it can be hard to pin point each enemy in this walkthrough - they also react to noise etc. so if you are loud when you enter certain areas they may kill hostages or gather together to hunt you down. Use the map to locate some of the terrorists when you can.

Use the snake cam: A key piece of kit. Use it under most doors to check the way forward is clear. Also if you highlight and enemy with the cursor and press the back button it will order your team members to kill that enemy first on entry.

Blind Fire: In areas where you are under heavy fire it is worth using the blind fire to force enemies into cover to allow you to re-position or to get a better shot at them.

Re-load: Try keep your weapon fully loaded when you can - never know when you might face a room full of enemies. Also note that the enemy has to reload too - an ideal time to shoot at them.



MISSION WALKTHROUGH

MEXICO STREETS

MISSION OBJECTIVE - REGROUP WITH TEAM
The game starts with some simple moves to get you used to the controls of the game. Firstly press A to fast rope down from the chopper. Run to the near by wall and duck behind it and peer round the end of the wall to take down the enemy at the end of the road.
I tend to put the silencer on my primary weapon and to change the fire rate to 3 bullets to give me more accuracy.
Make your way down the road and a white circle and a distance marker will appear - this shows you where you need to make your way to and how far from your current position it is.
Make your way to the wall and duck behind it. Two enemies will appear so take your time and kill them from behind cover, only popping up to take a few shots.
Head to the alley on the left and at the end take down the two enemies. Head towards the street and kill the enemies at the end of the street then head over to the next alley. At the end of this alley head right and into the building on the other side of the street. Take out the enemies inside the first room then head to the door ahead of you.
Aim at the bottom of the door and use the snake cam to identify the enemies inside. Then get in cover beside the door and open the door and kill the enemies inside.
Head up the stairs and into the room on the left and climb the ladder. Kill the enemy on the roof then rappel down the side of the building and get into cover behind the nearby object.
Shoot the first two enemies you see then head down the street. Watch out for the other guy behind the car. When you reach the car you'll need to use a smoke grenade to prevent the enemies from seeing you then either use your thermals to see through the smoke or kill the enemies from a distance before moving on. Head through the small garden and down the stairs to the left.
At the bottom of the stairs there is an enemy up high and one that jumps over. Kill them both then jump over the metal fence.
Your team will land on the top of a church so head down the alley and kill the enemies on the street outside the church. When they are dead head into the church and up stairs to regroup with your team.
You can direct your team by pointing the cross hairs at a location and pressing A. Head back downstairs in the church and prepare to be attacked in the hall of the church. I find it best to order your team behind the desk and the end nearest the stairs and for you to get into cover at the wall at the bottom of the stairs and pick enemies off as they enter the church.
When they are all dead head through the far end of the church and out into the street then head left and order your team to blow open the doors. Your team should clear the enemies in the area then order them to move down the alley on the right. Have them get in position beside the nearby door to the main building in the middle then go to another door and use the snake cam. Identify two enemies for your team to take out then order them in - either frag and clear or open and clear would be best here.
When you hear them enter open your door and kill any remaining enemies. Head out the door and order your team to get into position at the double doors at the bottom of the stairs. Head up the stairs and use the snake cam on the door. Order your team to frag and clear and open your door and shoot the enemies on the top level. Then head to the marker and order your team to fast rope down.


TRAINYARD

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE THE CIVILLIAN HOSTAGES
Head out the door and stick to the left. Order your team to take cover at the train cart ahead and pick of the enemies from a distance. When you think you got them all order your team through the door and head up the stairs and take out the two guys.
Head outside and then go to the right side of the tracks and make your way down killing the enemies on the way. At the end climb the ladder and enter the building. Proceed into the next room. Use your snake cam on the next door and you'll see three hostages and three terrorists.
Tag two of the terrorists and have your team mates stack up on the door. Go round to the next door and order them to flash and clear then when you hear the flash go off open your door and take out any terrorists still standing.
Head out the door and order your team mates to fast rope down. Stay up top and pick on the enemies from a distance up high. Then fast rope down and go left and round the other side of the train carts then head to the building on the left. Order your team to open and clear and head in and down the stairs and take out the enemies inside the tunnel and inside the train building. Move through and up the stairs and into the room. Through the next room there is rappel lines so order your team down the mine shaft and go down yourself.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: CAPTURE IRENA ALIVE IN THE MINES
You'll now be in the mine. Move forward and down the tunnel to the left. You'll see a hole in the wall and there are a few enemies in the next area. Stay behind cover at this wall and shoot the guys who come up the stairs then order your team down the stairs and shoot any remaining terrorists in the area. Head down and through the door at the bottom. You'll see Irena so make your way forward and capture her.

It's a trap, you'll get up and find yourself alone with just your secondary weapon, you need to go after your team. Go to the right then down the hallway to the left. Kill the guy on your left the n get in cover on the right and kill the guy who comes from ahead of you. Take the shot gun and head down the left path. There are a few enemies here so take cover and kill them all and move down. You need to head for the marker but watch out for enemies along the way, there are quite a few in the room beside the marker on both the left and right sides so take things easy.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE TEAM MATES
Head through the door and then climb up the rappel line. Kill the guy at the top and take his weapon. Take out the other guys that enter and go through the door and you'll reach the room where the guy was shot.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH & CLEAR EXTRACTION POINT
Head through the double red doors into the next area. Kill all the enemies in this area (on your level and the levels below) and then make your way down the stairs to the very bottom. Head to the left and up the metal staircase to the double grey door. Open it and kill the guard on the top level then make your way over to the far left of the top level and take out all the enemies below and make your way down and head for the marker and wait for the chopper. When it arrives jump in.
Sort out your equipment and get ready for Vegas.

LAS VEGAS STRIP

MISSION OBJECTIVE: BREACH INTO CASINO
Fast rope down from the chopper and regroup with your new team. Quite a straight forward start to the level. You need to proceed down the road taking out all of the enemies you encounter and enter the casino. There are a few tricky parts where there are a lot of enemies but just keep in a cover position, send your team mates down one side of the road behind cover and keep your eye on your tactical map to locate the spotted enemies that are in the area. When you reach the marker order your team to breach the wall then head inside the casino. Proceed through the office areas to the marker. Be sure to use the snake cam and order your team mates to open and clear on any rooms with terrorists.

CASINO

Head through the white door in the next room and get your team to stack up on the gold door. Use the snake cam and tag the two guys nearby. Head back along the corridor and get ready by the other gold door. Order your team to open and clear and open your door. Aim down the left and take out the two guys. Move with your team sending them down the middle (always behind cover though) and you stick to the left. Clear the room and move into the next casino room. There are quite a few guys in the cash desk area who come out so watch out.
Take them all out then grab some equipment from the box and head through the door and rappel down the line.

You'll now be inside the casino vault.
MISSION OBJECTIVE: HACK SECURITY NETWORK TO FIND SMYTHE'S LOCATION

Move around the vent and get your team to stand beside the first cover and move round to the last cover. Switch your team to assault mode and start shooting the bad guys until you clear the vault. Move into the second part of the vault and stick to cover as more terrorists attack from all sides. Move through the double doors at the end when all is clear and head right, have your team mount up on the double doors on the right and make your way through the single door on the left and head up the stairs. Open the door at the top and tag two of the terrorists then order your team in and shoot the others. Kill the terrorists then head for the marker and get your team to hack the computer.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE VIP DR. SMYTHE
Terrorists will attack from the left and right so get into a good position and kill them. There will also be some on the level below so take them down then head down the stairs and through the double doors on the left. Go through the second door on the right and have your team frag and clear the room. Continue along and at the next double door have your team stack up and use the snake cam to tag the two terrorists behind the door. Get them to breech the door when the terrorists are just the other side of it then continue past and up the stairs. Stack up on the double doors and tag any terrorists you see. Order your team to smoke and clear and stay at the door as more terrorists appear so take them out from cover.
You need to make your way up the stairs to the very top. Using the escalator stairs and the back staircase to get there. Each level has a few enemies on it so be careful and remember to stick to cover and use your team members.
At the top move through the glass doors and in through the door on the left. You need to be quite quick here. Order your team to stack up on the first door and grab some equipment from the box. Order your team to flash and clear and head in through the second door and kill all the terrorists but watch out for the hostages. Kill the terrorists who come in the far door then head out through that door.

Head along the corridor and you'll reach a room that has a gap in the middle and two paths down each side. Send your team mates down one side and you take the other. Kill all the terrorists on this level and the level below, move down and through the door on the far side (There is a door on the right that sneaks into the side of the large keno room which would be your best entry point). Clear this room and move through the doors on the far left and along the corridor. In the next area is where the hostage is located. On the level you are on there are rappel points. First head down the stairs on the left and have your team mates stack up on the door. Quickly head back up and pick a rappel point on the outside of the building.
Order your team to flash and clear and to fire at will and start rappelling down and shooting as many of the bad guys as you can. When it is clear get the hostage to follow you and move out of the room. Order bravo down to the end of the hall as there is a guy there. Then at the next door order them to smoke and clear. In this room grab some equipment and order your team to open and clear on the gold door ahead. Get the hostage to hold position and go down the small steps and through the other gold door. Kill all the terrorists on both levels in the casino room and move up the escalator to make sure it is clear. Clear the small corridor to the left halfway up the escalators then go back for the hostage and move along this corridor and out to the parking garage and head for the marker.
When the chopper comes get inside.

OTHER CASINO

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE NEWS REPORTER
You'll fast rope down from the chopper and land on the roof. Order your team mates to rappel down one of the outer rappel points and you stay on the room. Order them to breach in and you provide covering fire from up on the roof. Take out the terrorists then fast rope down yourself. Head up the stairs on the right and through the door at the end. Get your team to stack up on the door just ahead of you (Right hand side of the next large room) and then make your way to the opposite door on the other side. Order them to smoke and clear and fire at will and open your door and kill all the terrorists. Head through the large doorway at the far end of the room and into the next hallway. Have your team stack up on one of the double doors and then go to the right and the single door at the top of the escalators.
Use the snake cam to see inside then order your team to open and clear and go in and kill the terrorists in your room. Kill all of the terrorists in this part, on the same level as you and below. When you have killed all the terrorists fast rope down and then go up the stairs in the middle and through the doorway then fast rope down over the side on the left.

Move into the next hallway and order your team to stack up on the door on the left. Use the snake cam to highlight the two guys closest to the hostage with guns. Head up the escalators to the far right and when you reach the first double doors on the right order your team to flash and clear and then go in the door and shoot the two guys on the higher level. Head downstairs and get ready for some more terrorists to enter from the stairs on the far side. Once you have killed them all head up the stairs and through the doorway ahead. Proceed out side to the mall area and order your team mates to take cover behind the small wall. Stick to the left and kill the nearby enemies then head up the ladder on the left. You should be able to pick of the remaining enemies from here. More enemies will attack to try to take as many of them down as possible.
Also watch your back as there is another ladder further along which enemies often come up after you. Order your team forward to another wall and move along and down the ladder at the far end of this path. Kill any terrorists in this section then head for the middle of the cross section and go left towards the marker. There is a mounted machine gun so take that out first before killing the other terrorists that attack from the right. Once they are all dead head down the stairs on the right and through the door then fast rope down.


MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE AND HACK THE TRANSMITTER IN THE VAN
Head up the stairs ahead of you and follow the corridor round to the right. There are a few armed terrorists in the next hallway so take them out from cover then head up the nearby stairs. Order your team to stack up on the door then head round to the right and get in position at the next door. Order your team to frag and clear and head in the room and clear the remaining terrorists. Head up the stairs and through the door on the right then through the door up the small set of stairs on the left. There are quite a few terrorists in the next few rooms so stick in cover and use your team mates. Clear the room on both levels then head along the hallway on the back left and through the door and then climb the ladder. Head through the door on the right and clear the rooms on this level then climb the stairs in the kitchen area (back left room) and have your team stack up on the door.
Head back downstairs and go up the other set of stairs and head towards the double doors ahead of you. Order your team to frag and clear and then enter the room and kill the remaining terrorists. Go up the small set of stairs at the other end of the room and through the door and then head down the stairs on the left. Order your team to stack up on the door then go back up the stairs and in the room on your left. Get some equipment from the supply box (Get a sniper rifle) and then get in position at the window. Take out the sniper at the far end then order your team to open and clear. Head out the office and go left and outside using the door. Kill the rest of the terrorists then head to the van and order your team to hack the computer. More enemies will attack from further down the street. Use the sniper rifle to take them out then when they are all down head to the extraction point.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: ASSULT THE TOWER AND MAKE YOUR WAY DOWN
Fast rope down from the chopper then head through the door on the right and go down the stairs. Order your team to stack up on the double doors on your right and get them to breach and clear. You open the other double doors and kill the two guys in the kitchen area. Head through and kill the two guys behind the bar and order your team to regroup. Head down the stairs and get into cover and kill all the terrorists in this room before going down the next set of stairs. Order your team to open and clear the first door on the left and then go through and get them to frag and clear on the next room. Kill all the terrorists here then go through to the other side and stack up on the double doors. Get your team to frag and clear then head out and clear the roof top of any terrorists then use the rappel points at the edge to head down.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE DR. WILLIAMS
Order your team to use the rappel and head down and then head through the door on the left and fast rope down. Snake cam the door and highlight the two terrorists and order your team to break in. Get your team to stack up on the first double door then head round to the other door. Order them to frag and clear then head in once the frag has detonated. Head through the next door and kill the terrorists. Get your team to stack up and use the snake cam - you'll see the hostage. Highlight the two terrorists closest to him then head through the door on the left and stack up on the other door. Order a flash and clear and enter and kill all the terrorists then head over to the hostage.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: DEFUSE THE BOMB LOCATED IN THE BAR OF THE TOWER
Grab some equipment from the box then head through the door on the left. Order your team to stack up on the double doors then go up the stairs. Order your team to smoke and clear and head through your door and kill the terrorists on the upper level. Use the elevated position to direct your team to cover and take out terrorists on the level below. Once they are all dead head down the stairs and through the door on the right. Head through the next set of doors and kill the terrorists. Head down the stairs and kill the remaining terrorists. Get your team to stack up on the double doors and then head outside and crouch at the windows near the other door. Order your team to flash and clear then shoot the guys on the upper balcony from outside then head inside and get the others. Order your team to defuse the bomb.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: EXTRACT TO CHOPPER
Head out of the room and back up the stairs. The door on the right will open and a terrorist will come out. Kill him then head up the stairs and onto the roof. Rappel down then make your way over to the chopper and climb in.


DANTE's CASINO

MISSION OBJECTIVE: LOCATE GABRIEL AND KAN
Fast rope down from the chopper and get into cover at the edge. Take out the terrorists below and order your team down to behind the wall. Kill all the terrorists here then climb the ladder at the back right. Take out the terrorists in this upper area from behind cover and moving up to the left and then round. Once they are all dead use the rappel points and rappel down. Kill the guys on the room from outside then breach in and head down the stairs to the marker.
Shoot the two guys at the bottom of the first level of stairs then go down. Order your team to use the fast rope positions found behind the stairs then continue on and use the other fast rope point. This part is rather simple as you just need to continue down each level using the stairs and killing all of the enemies until you reach the marker. After the marker you'll reach a room with 2 doors. Get your team to stack up and breach and clear the door and you enter via the other door. Kill the terrorists inside then head through the door. Get your team to stack up again and frag and clear the next room. Continue forward doing the same again. You'll reach some stairs with a supply box at the bottom of them. Re-supply then get your team to stack up on the door and breach and clear. Go round to the other way into the room and kill all the terrorists - watch out though as they come from other doors and from the roof.
Go through to the next room and through the door on the left. Crouch past the windows till you reach the door. Get your team to stack up then sneak back past the windows and through the opposite door and up the stairs. Kill the guy at the top of the stairs then order your team to breach and clear. From your position kill the guy on the mounted turret across from you then the guys on the lower level then head down the other stairs and towards the marker. Open the door and kill the terrorists. More come from downstairs so kill them and head up the stairs, it can be a bit tricky here as there are quite a few guys to deal with. Head along the corridor and through the door towards the marker. You should see Gabriel at the top of the stairs so head up to him to release him.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE GABRIEL IN THE ARCADE
The next part is quite tricky as a whole bunch on enemies attack from all over the place. Get into cover on your right and kill them all, revive any downed members of your team. When you take them all out Gabriel will run down the stairs and down the stairs on your left. Follow him down then go through the open doorway in the middle. A guy will come through the door ahead. The next part is very tricky. There are two mounted machine guns to the left, one high one low as well as guys on both levels near you and at the far end. If you still have the sniper rifle and some smoke grenades you should be able to use them to kill the mounted guns, just keep an eye all round you though. When all the terrorists are dead head down the room and through the door on the left and down the stairs.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH KAN IN THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

Head out the door ahead and sneak down to the small wall. You'll see two guys on the other side as well as a sniper on both the top left and top right walkways. Kill them all then kill the guy on the far right of the lower level and head over that way. At the end turn to the left and kill the guys up that way too. Climb the ladder on the left and up onto the second level, there is another sniper at the back so kill him. Clear the area of enemies then head towards the marker. Re-supply then head through the tunnel and use the fast rope to go down. Head into the grey pipe and shoot a couple of terrorists inside then group up with Kan.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: EXTRACT INFO FROM THE TERRORIST DATA HUB
Head out into the open area and clear it of the terrorists. Climb up the side to the upper level and clear it too. There are quite a few enemies here so be careful. When your done head round towards the marker and re-supply. Get your team to stack up on the door at the top of the stairs and get them to smoke and clear and fire at will. Move up one side and order your team to move up the other. Watch out for enemies coming down from the level above you. Clear the area of terrorists then move inside the casino. Order your team to get behind the machines on the left and take cover behind a nearby box. Quite a few terrorists attack you from the stairs ahead so take them all out before moving up the stairs to the marker.

Head round the corridor and have your team stack up on the first door you come too straight ahead of you. Head up the stairs to your left and kill the one guy on the upper level then head back down the stairs. Have your team breach and clear and kill all the terrorists in the room. Head out the door at the back left and up the stairs, kill the two guys here then go up to the top of the stairs and along the corridor. Kill all the terrorists in the theatre - both on the stage and in the seating area then head down and go through the door to the left of the stage towards the backstage area. Order your team to frag and clear the next room then re-supply at the supply crate. Kill the two terrorists out the other door of this room then head onto the stage.
On the stage order your team to hack the computer then get one of them into position behind cover on the left of the stage and you get into cover on the right. Then you just need to kill all the terrorists and stay alive. This bit might take a few attempts. When you are past this part head up the ladder and along the platform and through the door. Then just head up the stairs and into the chopper on the roof.


NEVADA DAM

Fast rope down from the chopper then head over and you'll see a guy coming towards you. Listen to him then head past him and terrorists will attack you. Kill them all then head down the stairs on the left hand side. Kill all the terrorists in the room and order your team to defuse the bomb. Once this is done head out the single door and through the next single door. Make your way down the stairs and kill the terrorists you encounter.
MISSION OBJECTIVE: RESCUE DAM TECHNICIAN

Head down the through the next room, you'll come to a room with two doors leading into the next room, order your team to stack up and flash and clear and kill the terrorists and rescue the technician.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: ESCORT TECHNICIAN TO CONTROL CENTRE
Follow the technician through the door into the tunnel, continue along the walkway and out and down the stairs. Terrorists will attack you so kill them all then have your team stack up on the door at the top of the stairs. Have them frag and clear and kill all the terrorists in the room. The technician will begin to work on the computer. When he is done head out the other door and down the stairs, get your team to stack up on the door on the right and frag and clear. Head through the other door and through the next door and kill all the terrorists.
Head along to the marker and have your team hack the computer. More enemies will come from both the left and right so get your other team mate into position to cover the left and when the door opens to your right lob a frag grenade in quickly to kill the guys in there. Keep your team mate that is hacking the computer covered and kill the remaining terrorists until the doors open.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: FIND ENTRANCE TO SECRET LAB
Head back down the walkway and to the left and in through the large opening and go up the stairs. Get your team to smoke and clear the room and kill the terrorists inside. Head through the door on the right and proceed to the marker. You'll enter the large turbine room, make your way round to the left and watch out for the guys coming through the windows on the left and coming from the roof in the centre. Kill the terrorists then order your team down the stairs in the middle. Kill the other terrorists before heading along the corridor at the back to the far left of the room. Kill the terrorists that attack here and then head up the stairs and into the room on the left and then down the staircase and through the door at the bottom. GO down the stairs, you can look over the rails about halfway down and pick off the enemies below.
Head down the the bottom and kill the terrorists to the left then order your team to smoke and clear the room across from you then head in and go through the door in the next room on the right. Head down the stairs then use the fast rope.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: SAVE DR. WILLIAMS AND DR. SMYTHE
Head through the door and talk to the guy then go left. You'll come under pretty heavy fire so get in position behind a vehicle and kill all of the terrorists then head through the doorway at the end. Get your team to stack up on the doorway to the left and breach and clear the room then open the door and go into the next room. Get your team to stack up on the door on the left then stack up on the other door. Have your team flash and clear the room then head in and kill the remaining terrorists.
Head out the other door and clear the large open room of all terrorists. Head to the left and enter through the double doors, stack up on the next set of doors and put your night vision goggles on. Kill all the terrorists then head through the hole on the right hand side wall and go right. Head through the office and through the metal detector at the far right and through the door. Get your team to stack up on the far left door then go down the stairs and stack up on the door. Get your team to flash and clear and head in and clear the room of terrorists then head along the corridor at the back of the room.
Make your way through the lab area, there are a few tricky enemies here so be careful. At the end the hostages are located in the room with 4 terrorists. Get your team to stack up on the door and highlight two enemies with the snake cam. Head round to the other door and order your team to flash and clear then take out all the terrorists.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: TRACK DOWN IRENA AND KILL HER
Head through the door and go upstairs and through the door at the end of the hall. Have your team go through the double doors and clear the room, head through the other door and give them some support from the other side. Head through the opening and kill the terrorist here then into the next room and kill the terrorists on all levels. Go up stairs and follow the corridor round towards the marker. You'll come to a corridor with two doors. Have your team stack up on the first door and flash and clear and you go through the next door and kill the terrorists. GO down the stairs and kill the remaining terrorists. Re-supply at the supply crate then have your team stack up on the door and you go to the door on the left. Order your team to frag and clear then head in and kill all the terrorists. Then order your team to hack the computer and protect them as more terrorists attack.
Go up the stairs and you'll see Irena in a room but you can't shoot her, head round and wait for the blast doors to open then go through and round the corridor. Clear the room on both levels and head up the stairs and kill Irena then jump in the elevator.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH TOP OF THE DAM & DESTROY MISSILE
Head along the corridor at the left and kill the guy at the bottom of the stairs then go up the stairs and kill the guy there then get your team to stack up on the door. Head back and go up the other stairs and kill the two guys there then order your team to open and clear and start killing the terrorists. Order your team to set up explosives on the missile. Kill all the terrorists then continue along the dam.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: REACH GABRIEL & CHOPPER
Continue along the dam and you'll see your other team mates, shoot the last few terrorists then regroup with your team to finish the game.




ONLINE PLAY
There are various modes of online play in the game ranging from various death match style game modes to capturing vital intel and co-op story mode which has you playing through the single player game but with other gamers playing the part of your team.

At the start of online play you'll be able to create your character and how they look. With an Xbox Live vision cam you can place your own image on the characters face.
You are able to edit your appearance or unlock extra equipment and clothing for your character by playing multiplayer modes. You can also re upload your facial image at any point in the online menus.


ONLINE GAME MODES

Attack & Defend: Two team fight for control of an objective - one team tries to steal it while the other defends it
Sharpshooter: Free-for-all combat with respawns, player with most kills wins
Team Sharpshooter: Two teams fight it out. Team with most kills at the end of the time wins
Co-op terrorist hunt: You and a team of friends must locate and kill all terrorists on certain maps
Co-op story: Play the single player story mode with friends as your team mates
Retrieval: Two teams must find the biohazard canister and deliver it to their base to score points. Team with most points wins.
Survival: No respawns, last person alive wins
Team Survival: Two teams compete trying to eliminate all members of the opposite team. Team with players still alive wins


RANKS
As you play through the various online modes you will be given points at the end of each round (More points for the better you do), these points allow you to progress through the various ranks. Each time you achieve a new rank you will unlock additional weapons, equipment and clothing for you to use on your online character.
