Retro Game Walkthroughs for Timesplitters 2 (Gamecube)

Introduction
=========
Below is a full walkthrough for the Siberia level on TimeSplitters 2 for the Nintendo GameCube. It may also be used for the PS2 and X-Box games, seeing as I haven't noticed any differences between the Single player missions.
The walkthrough is written to help you complete the Single-player missions on the Normal difficulty. I have written the walkthrough for the Normal difficulty setting because the Easy setting is very easy to follow and very easy to complete.
This walkthrough can also be used when playing the Co-operative missions on TS2, which also gives you the same rewards for completing the level on the Normal difficulty level. I have also added what you unlock after completing the level.
I will add further mission walkthroughs as I write them.
1990 SIBERIA � Oblask Dam

Objectives:

Collect the Sniper Rifle and the Silenced Pistol from the floor.
Equip the Sniper Rifle and look in front of you, where you
should see a guard standing who is looking at the stairs below
him. Zoom in onto his head and kill him with one bullet.
Another guard should come running up the stairs and stand in the
position that the previous guard was in. Make sure you kill this
guard quickly, because he is only stationery for a few seconds.
It is important to try and kill guards with one shot from the
Sniper Rifle because there is a limited supply of ammunition on
the level. Now, look to the right of where the guard was standing, you should see a surveillance camera. Shoot the lens of the camera with your sniper rifle, and walk forward a few metres. You should now be able to see through a gap between the two small buildings on the right of your screen.
Take aim through this gap and fire at the guard that is patrolling this
area when he is in sight. Now, head to the far right of the area and walk down the side of the first building.
Walk slowly until you see another guard standing inside the second building, and shoot him through the glass pane in the door. Collect the
guard's ammunition and head back to the fence near the start of the mission.
If you back against the fence and walk to the gap between the two-leveled building and the middle one, you should see another surveillance camera. Shoot the lens of this camera, and then head up the stairs that should be to your left. Walk over the first wooden plank that connects the two roofs and stand on the middle buildings roof. Turn around 180 degrees to face the communications disk. Look slightly to right of the communications disk to see a dam shaped structure. At the end of the structure is a small room. Use your Sniper Rifle to kill the guard that is in the small room, otherwise you will be shot at for the whole of the time you are outside. Now, turn around
again and drop through the hole that is in the right hand side building. Collect the Timed Mines and exit the building.
Head back up the same set of stairs, and walk across the first plank
of wood again. Face the communications disk and equip your Timed
Mines. Throw a Timed Mine at the communications disk, and then head back to the door by the top of the stairs. Enter the door and head to the end of room. Ignore all of the blurry signals and push the button to open the security door. Exit the room and drop to the floor. Enter the front-middle building, and open thefile cabinet. Throw a Timed Mine at the cabinet and exit the building as soon as you can.
Now run to the far-right building and enter through the door. Open this file cabinet and throw another Timed Mine at this one. Exit this room and run away from it.
You should hear two explosions, and then a signal saying that you have burned 2 of the 5 pieces of evidence in the filing cabinets. Now run down the small set of stairs to the north where you should then be facing an elevator door. Try to activate the elevator, you will then be told a new objective.
Restore Power.
Go up the 4 levels of steps, making sure you kill the first guard going unsuspected, and then shooting the barrels below the camera. This will make a guard come down and inspect the explosion, so just kill him and carry on up the stairs. When you reach the top of the stairs, do not go through the door thatis in front of you. Instead, use your Sniper Rifle to kill thetwo guards that are in site.
Once you have killed these two guards, open the door and kill the one guard that comes to attack you. Now, turn left and go through a gap which leads to a small room. Collect the Armour, Soviet S-47 and the S-47 ammunition.
You also need to turn the gas valve, which reduces the gas pressure to 66%. Exit this room and equip your AK-47.
Kill the remaining guards and enter the other two rooms. Turn each gas valve once to reduce the steam pressure to 0%. This will cause the steam that was stopping your exit stop emitting from the pipe. Go through the door at the end of the corridor with all the barrels and then go down the 4 floors. Kill the guards on your way and make sure to collect their ammunition.
There is also Armour and Sniper Ammunition on a rack for you to
collect. When you reach the bottom floor, you will have to press another switch to open the door in front of you. Go through the door and shoot the surveillance camera and the guard that is to the left. Go to where the guard was and collect his ammunition and go around the corner. There will be another camera that you will need to destroy and another guard that you will need tokill.
Now, turn around to face the dam again. Look at the other side of the dam this time and shoot the other guard that will continuously shoot at you. As you enter the room, you will be told that the Time Crystal has been located. Kill the two guards that are in your way and make sure that the guard in front of you does not press the alarm. Go down the next set of stairs, and use your Silenced Pistol to shoot the barrels which are next to another guard.
There will also be a guard to the right who you will need to kill. Go through the door which should be on your right. Inside there will be some Armour and another file cabinet. Use a Timed Mine to destroy this piece of evidence and then Exit the room. Carry on through the corridor until you reach another set of stairs that lead down.
To your left, you should see two file cabinets. Destroy both of these cabinets to complete another objective - Burn all the evidence in the filing cabinets. As you reach the bottom and see boarded wood, you
should see a message telling you that you have reached the checkpoint. Turn the corner and kill the guard, then turn back and go up the set of stairs that is in the middle of the large room. Use your Sniper Rifle to shoot the lenses of the two camera guns that are attached to the ceiling. Then head back down the stairs and go up the other stairs that leads to a small room. Push the switch to open the door that is at the end of thelarge room. Go through this door and enter the first door on the right.
In this room there is even more Armour and Grenades for the S-47. Exit the room and go through the third door along the corridor. In here are some more Timed Mines. Exit this room and head to the second door along the corridor. Enter this door and then enter the door on the left. You should be in a room with a computer that controls a camera. Use this camera to kill the guard that is in the next room to you.
Then, push the two switches to open the door that leads to where the guard was standing. Collect the Tactical 12-Gauge and head through the
next door. Use your S-47 to kill the only guard who is behind the picture of the skeleton on the glass. Collect the Computer Disk off of the guard along with his ammunition. This triggers about 10 zombies to re-spawn and start attacking you. Kill all of these zombies and then exit through the door you entered in.
Go back up to the computer room is where you pushed the switch to open the door. Insert the Computer Disk to complete another objective - Restore power.
Now, go back through the door which leads to the corridor. A few zombies will start to attack you, but this is nothing to worry about. Kill the zombies and continue down the corridor. Go to the end of the corridor to complete another objective.
Investigate the secret digging site.
At the end of the corridor, you should see two zombies lying on the floor beside the Time Crystal. Collect the Time Crystal to complete another objective - Retrieve the Time Crystal. Kill the other two zombies and then face the Time Splitter Container. Throw 3 Timed Mines onto the container and run away. When you hear the explosion, head back to the other end of the corridor and return to the top of the building. Asyou try to go up the first set of stairs, a flaming mutant will come down the stairs. You will then get a new objective - Make sure no mutants escape. There are 5 mutants all together, and you can tell them apart from normal zombies because they have deformed faces. Either shoot the mutant or let him burn out, and then head up the set of stairs. A guard will be waiting for you at the top, so just shoot him. If you want, you can let the mutants kill all of the Special Forces and save your ammunition.
Exit the building, and kill the few mutants and Special Forces that are left. You should complete your objective when you have killed all 5 of the mutants. Now head down the small set of stairs and kill the couple of zombies that head in your way. Go into the elevator and head to the 5th floor.
Go onto the damn and man the machine gun. You should then get a new objective - Shoot down the gunship.
To do this, use the missiles to shoot the helicopter down, as well as killing the footmen with your machine gun. Once you complete this objective, head through the Time Portal and await your reward.

STORY - NORMAL
CHICAGO
Primary Objectives :-
1. Rendezvous With Your Informant:
As soon as you start the level, you'll automatically select the
Vintage Rifle (Unless you've changed the settings, in which case
you'll need to select it). So run up towards the window and aim
towards the guard walking to the left, just in front of the boat. Shoot the guard in the head and aim a little bit down and to the left some more, then shoot the second guard in the head, if he isn't there yet, wait a bit and he'll soon walk up. After this, walk to your right and across the balcony. Jump off the small opening, onto the container with the ammo on it. After this, walk to the back of the boat and collect the body armour.
Select the Silenced Lugar and make your way out of the boat and up the steps. Turn to your left and shoot the guard, walking back and fourth, in the head.
NOTE: Before moving on, look under Primary Objectives, 3, Barrel
1.
Go up the stairs and look through the window. There'll be a guard near an alarm, shoot him in the head with your Vintage Rifle. Select your Silenced Lugar, turn to your right and walk forwards, then look left and aim towards the stationary guards head. Kill him, pick up the ammo he drops and make your way down the stairs. When you reach the bottom, turn to your right and wait for a guard to come out of the opening. Try to go for headshots to kill him quicker.
NOTE: Before moving on look under Primary Objectives, 3, Barrel
2.
Go through the opening, towards the streets of Chicago. Turn to
your right and walk towards a ringing phone box. Don't pick it up just yet, first of all, select your Vintage Rifle and turn to your right, there'll be a stationary guard waiting. Shoot him in the head, now press A on the ringing phone box. When you've finished reading Marcos instructions, press A again and go over to where the guard was standing. Select the Tommy Gun that the guard dropped.
NOTE: To move on, look under Secondary Objectives, 1.
Now make your way towards where Tony's brother came from and collect the ammo and armour.
NOTE: Before moving on, look under primary Objectives, 3, Barrel 3.
NOTE: To move on, look under Secondary Objectives, 2.
After that's done, make you way back to the front of O Leary's and go to your right. Follow the street until you find a small opening with a bins and a man in white without a weapon. Walk up towards him to complete your mission.
2. Protect Marco As He Returns To His Hideout:
Select your Silenced Lugar and get ready for some enemies to
appear. First of all, an enemy runs out in front of Marco, kill
him and then walk back, as there's one coming from the street
behind you. Kill him and once again there'll be one coming from
the front. Once you've killed him, aim up around the first corner and kill the guard up on the balcony. Again there'll be a few more coming from the front and from behind, but now all you need to do is keep your back to Marco while he makes his way into his hideout. When He opens his door, run in and get the TNT. Then wait until Objective Complete flashes onto the screen before moving on.
NOTE: To move on, look under Primary Objectives, 3, Barrel 4.
3. Drain The Whiskey Barrels:
To drain the whiskey barrels, select your Silenced Lugar and shoot them at the very bottom, before moving on check every barrel is drained. If there's no more whiskey coming from the barrel but it didn't say however Many Whiskey Barrels Remain. If it doesn't, shoot a little further down.
Barrel 1:
The first barrel can be found opposite the first set of stairs
you come across, near where you found a guard walking back and
forth.
Barrel 2:
When you make your way down the second set of stairs you come
across, the second whisky barrel will be in front of you.
Barrel 3:
The third barrel can be found in the garage where Tony's brother
came from.
Barrel 4:
After getting Marco safely to his hideout, walk outside and make
you way into the building on you right. Once in, go to the right
and select your Silenced Lugar. There'll be a stationary guard
on you left, so shoot him in the head and then kill the other
guard walking back and forth. Another guard may come down the
stairs, but he's not hard to kill. After they're all gone, go
back to where you killed the first guard to find the final whiskey. Drain to complete your objective.
4. Obtain The Nightclub Pass Card:
After draining the final whiskey barrel, select the Vintage Rifle
and make your way up the steps. You'll find yourself at the bottom of a huge set of stairs. Go ever so slightly up the first set and look towards your left. Aim up to find a guard, shoot him in the head and make your way up stairs. Grab the ammo and go into a room with a bed in it. Select your Silenced Lugar and get to the back of the room. Two guards will come running down, simply shoot them a couple of times to kill them. Go up the next set of stairs, go into the opening and get the body armour under the bed.
Go up the stairs to the next bedroom. You'll find an enemy with a Vintage Rifle, so shoot him in the head, collect the Rifle and the ammo behind the bed before moving on. With your Silenced Lugar equipped and go ever-so-slightly up the stairs. Turn to your left to find Braces at the ready. One clean shot to the head should finish him off. Now go up the stairs and enter the final room. Select your TNT, throw it at the safe and run back towards the stairs. When the TNT blows up, collect the Shotgun from the chair and the Members card from the safe to complete your objective.
5. Eliminate Big Tony:
After collecting the Members Card, answer the ringing phone to
get more instructions from Marco. He'll say that there are some guys out to get you, so select your Vintage Rifle, go down the stairs and enter the first room you come across. The first guard will be in a window with the light on in the far building. One shot to the head will finish him off. Now there'll be an enemy on the balcony to your right. Again, headshot will finish him.
Finally, there's one on the street, hiding behind a washing line. A final shot to the head and you're done.
Now make your way down the stairs and select your Tommy Gun. Go
outside and then back in because there'll be two enemies waiting. They'll follow you in so just wait around the first corner and kill them when they make an appearance. Now make a right turn and shoot all the guards you come across. The only one's you might miss are windows. The first is in an opening to your right, just shoot at the window to take of him. Opposite the first guard you'll see a set of windows with one lit, the second is there. Then at the very back of the street, there'll be one more set of windows with a guard in it. Once all the guards are killed, open the gate at the far end of the street. Two guards will await you, but with your Tommy Gun, they shouldn't be a problem. Once they're killed, pick up their ammo and enter the building behind them. Take a left as soon as you come in and go through an opening, down some stairs past the first door.
Select your Shotgun and open the door. There'll be two guards waiting, but one shot with the shotgun should finish them off. Collect their ammo and get the body armour near the steps. Go into the door down the steps and shoot the first enemy you come across with the shotgun. Now go into the first opening on your left, covered with glass, to find the Double Tommy Guns.
Once you leave the opening, go your left and wait for an enemy to start firing from the corner. With the Double Tommy Guns, he shouldn't be a problem. Now go through to where he was, pick up the ammo, and go left around the huge pillar to find Braces.
He's only got a Lugar, so finish him off and then get read for the boss battle. Reload your Tommy Guns (By pressing Y) and make your way through the opening behind Braces.
You�ll find yourself facing a huge set of stairs. Walk into the make room and then back out again into the small corridor. Fat Tony will come to the top of the stairs, this is when you should let rip and blow
him away with your Double Tommy Guns. He won't get a chance to shoot you, so no need to worry about health, he'll be gone in one round.
6. Retrieve The Time Crystal:
After defeating Fat Tony, simply run towards where he was and
collect the Time Crystal he dropped.
7. Escape Through The Time Portal:
After collecting the Time Crystal, some Scourge Splitters will
appear and try to stop you from getting to the Time Portal. Not
to worry though, the Time Portal is just at the bottom of the
stairs, so rush down them as fast as you can to finish the
level.
Secondary Objectives :-
1. Prevent Tony's Brother From Escaping:
After collecting and selecting the Tommy Gun, walk towards a
shop called O Leary's. A car will crash through a wall, at this point, run back towards the first phone box you saw, facing the car at all times. Keep shooting at it and when it gets to the corner, it will burst into flames.
2. Minimise Civilian Casualties:
Because most of the civilian casualties take place at O Learys', how to kill the enemies effectively go under this objective. Select your Tommy Gun and head to O Leary's .
Go through the opening at the back that leads to a pool room. The first two enemies will come from the right, kill them and collect the ammo. Others will come from where you did and towards the back left. When the talking stops, all the enemies will have gone. All you have to do is make sure that the guards don't kill any civilians.
All you need to remember is, if there's someone walking slowly, without a weapon, he's a civilian, but if he's running with something in his hands, he's an enemy.
Reward: After getting through the dangerous streets of Chicago,
you'll get Big Tony as a playable character.

Select your Silenced Lugar, turn to your right and walk forwards, then look left and aim towards the stationary guards head. Kill him, pick up the ammo he drops and make your way down the stairs. When you reach the bottom, turn to your right and wait for a guard to come out of the opening. Try to go for headshots to kill him quicker.

Go through the opening, towards the streets of Chicago. Turn to
your right and walk towards a ringing phone box. Don't pick it up just yet, first of all, select your Vintage Rifle and turn to your right, there'll be a stationary guard waiting. Shoot him in the head, now press A on the ringing phone box. When you've finished reading Marcos instructions, press A again and go over to where the guard was standing. Select the Tommy Gun that the guard dropped.
NOTE: To move on, look under Secondary Objectives, 1.
Now make your way towards where Tony's brother came from and collect the ammo and armour.
NOTE: Before moving on, look under primary Objectives, 3, Barrel 3.
NOTE: To move on, look under Secondary Objectives, 2.
After that's done, make you way back to the front of O Leary's and go to your right. Follow the street until you find a small opening with a bins and a man in white without a weapon. Walk up towards him to complete your mission.
2. Protect Marco As He Returns To His Hideout:
Select your Silenced Lugar and get ready for some enemies to
appear. First of all, an enemy runs out in front of Marco, kill
him and then walk back, as there's one coming from the street
behind you. Kill him and once again there'll be one coming from
the front. Once you've killed him, aim up around the first corner and kill the guard up on the balcony. Again there'll be a few more coming from the front and from behind, but now all you need to do is keep your back to Marco while he makes his way into his hideout. When He opens his door, run in and get the TNT. Then wait until Objective Complete flashes onto the screen before moving on.
NOTE: To move on, look under Primary Objectives, 3, Barrel 4.
3. Drain The Whiskey Barrels:
To drain the whiskey barrels, select your Silenced Lugar and shoot them at the very bottom, before moving on check every barrel is drained. If there's no more whiskey coming from the barrel but it didn't say however Many Whiskey Barrels Remain. If it doesn't, shoot a little further down.
Barrel 1:
The first barrel can be found opposite the first set of stairs
you come across, near where you found a guard walking back and
forth.
Barrel 2:
When you make your way down the second set of stairs you come
across, the second whisky barrel will be in front of you.
Barrel 3:
The third barrel can be found in the garage where Tony's brother
came from.
Barrel 4:
After getting Marco safely to his hideout, walk outside and make
you way into the building on you right. Once in, go to the right
and select your Silenced Lugar. There'll be a stationary guard
on you left, so shoot him in the head and then kill the other
guard walking back and forth. Another guard may come down the
stairs, but he's not hard to kill. After they're all gone, go
back to where you killed the first guard to find the final whiskey. Drain to complete your objective.
4. Obtain The Nightclub Pass Card:
After draining the final whiskey barrel, select the Vintage Rifle
and make your way up the steps. You'll find yourself at the bottom of a huge set of stairs. Go ever so slightly up the first set and look towards your left. Aim up to find a guard, shoot him in the head and make your way up stairs. Grab the ammo and go into a room with a bed in it. Select your Silenced Lugar and get to the back of the room. Two guards will come running down, simply shoot them a couple of times to kill them. Go up the next set of stairs, go into the opening and get the body armour under the bed.
Go up the stairs to the next bedroom. You'll find an enemy with a Vintage Rifle, so shoot him in the head, collect the Rifle and the ammo behind the bed before moving on. With your Silenced Lugar equipped and go ever-so-slightly up the stairs. Turn to your left to find Braces at the ready. One clean shot to the head should finish him off. Now go up the stairs and enter the final room. Select your TNT, throw it at the safe and run back towards the stairs. When the TNT blows up, collect the Shotgun from the chair and the Members card from the safe to complete your objective.
5. Eliminate Big Tony:
After collecting the Members Card, answer the ringing phone to
get more instructions from Marco. He'll say that there are some guys out to get you, so select your Vintage Rifle, go down the stairs and enter the first room you come across. The first guard will be in a window with the light on in the far building. One shot to the head will finish him off. Now there'll be an enemy on the balcony to your right. Again, headshot will finish him.
Finally, there's one on the street, hiding behind a washing line. A final shot to the head and you're done.
Now make your way down the stairs and select your Tommy Gun. Go
outside and then back in because there'll be two enemies waiting. They'll follow you in so just wait around the first corner and kill them when they make an appearance. Now make a right turn and shoot all the guards you come across. The only one's you might miss are windows. The first is in an opening to your right, just shoot at the window to take of him. Opposite the first guard you'll see a set of windows with one lit, the second is there. Then at the very back of the street, there'll be one more set of windows with a guard in it. Once all the guards are killed, open the gate at the far end of the street. Two guards will await you, but with your Tommy Gun, they shouldn't be a problem. Once they're killed, pick up their ammo and enter the building behind them. Take a left as soon as you come in and go through an opening, down some stairs past the first door.
Select your Shotgun and open the door. There'll be two guards waiting, but one shot with the shotgun should finish them off. Collect their ammo and get the body armour near the steps. Go into the door down the steps and shoot the first enemy you come across with the shotgun. Now go into the first opening on your left, covered with glass, to find the Double Tommy Guns.
Once you leave the opening, go your left and wait for an enemy to start firing from the corner. With the Double Tommy Guns, he shouldn't be a problem. Now go through to where he was, pick up the ammo, and go left around the huge pillar to find Braces.
He's only got a Lugar, so finish him off and then get read for the boss battle. Reload your Tommy Guns (By pressing Y) and make your way through the opening behind Braces.
You�ll find yourself facing a huge set of stairs. Walk into the make room and then back out again into the small corridor. Fat Tony will come to the top of the stairs, this is when you should let rip and blow
him away with your Double Tommy Guns. He won't get a chance to shoot you, so no need to worry about health, he'll be gone in one round.
6. Retrieve The Time Crystal:
After defeating Fat Tony, simply run towards where he was and
collect the Time Crystal he dropped.
7. Escape Through The Time Portal:
After collecting the Time Crystal, some Scourge Splitters will
appear and try to stop you from getting to the Time Portal. Not
to worry though, the Time Portal is just at the bottom of the
stairs, so rush down them as fast as you can to finish the
level.
Secondary Objectives :-
1. Prevent Tony's Brother From Escaping:
After collecting and selecting the Tommy Gun, walk towards a
shop called O Leary's. A car will crash through a wall, at this point, run back towards the first phone box you saw, facing the car at all times. Keep shooting at it and when it gets to the corner, it will burst into flames.
2. Minimise Civilian Casualties:
Because most of the civilian casualties take place at O Learys', how to kill the enemies effectively go under this objective. Select your Tommy Gun and head to O Leary's .
Go through the opening at the back that leads to a pool room. The first two enemies will come from the right, kill them and collect the ammo. Others will come from where you did and towards the back left. When the talking stops, all the enemies will have gone. All you have to do is make sure that the guards don't kill any civilians.
All you need to remember is, if there's someone walking slowly, without a weapon, he's a civilian, but if he's running with something in his hands, he's an enemy.
Reward: After getting through the dangerous streets of Chicago,
you'll get Big Tony as a playable character.
