Retro Game Walkthroughs for Enter the Matrix (PC Games)

This walkthrough will help you get through some of the harder parts of the game so let's begin...
POLICE AND SWAT: SWAT and police are very easy to defeat, especially if you're on easy mode. If you are close up to them then you will have no trouble killing them using hand to hand combat, using focus if there is a big group of them. If there is a big group of them far off then draw you're weapons, go into focus, run forward and jump, you will go into a pretty flash corkscrew mode and you can then shoot about 10 of them in one combo. You can also do it going back instead of forwards by pressing back instead of forward.
AGENTS: With agents, it's best to avoid them using focus or dodge the bullets by strafing left or right in focus (When you are strafing left/right in focus, press the jump button to do a cartwheel - when doing a cartwheel, you will have 100% shooting accuracy while shooting - this is a good way to dodge bullets and at the same time shoot your target with 100% accuracy)
SWAT HELICOPTER: When the helicopter is the right way round and can shoot at you, don't bother battling it, hide behind the wall at the opposite end to were you came in. But when it stops shooting and turns around, it will not shoot, now's your chance. Strafing right, shoot it with you SMG. Once the helicopter is hidden, put you back against the wall - the wall next to the one you have been hiding behind - wait for it - when the 3 SWAT guys come down from the roof go into focus - make sure you have your gun drawn - and use the corkscrew move I told you about and hopefully you would have killed all of them. Now collect their ammo and put you're back against the same wall - yes I know it's not the wall that you need to hide behind - here's the bit which will make sure you won't get hit by the helicopter gun - as you will see, the helicopter will come from the place that it dropped those SWAT guys off. So even if you hid behind that covering wall, the helicopter could still shoot you for a period of time. Stay up against the wall and make sure you are all the way to the right. When the helicopter comes, focus and strafe left and right dodging the bullets until the helicopter can't shoot you - next quickly hide behind the original cover wall. Now I think you know what happens next - repeat the process of shooting the helicopter when it turns round and kill all the SWAT guys - 4 SWAT guys will come down every time, so make sure you don't waste any time when shooting the helicopter - if you are accurate then the helicopter will be blown up eventually.
KEEP FOLLOWING THE PLANE: This can seem pretty hard at first, but in fact it is very easy. Just remember these tips:
1: When going over the bumps, line the car up so it is going straight. If you approach the bumps at an angle, you will lose the plane.
2: When you are following the car, follow it in it's exact footsteps (Tracks in this case) If you drive exactly how the car in front of you is then will not mess up. You are using the car as a guide.
3: If you go in front of the car, then slow down slightly until it's in front of you again, but always stay close to it.
THE AGENT HELICOPTER: This is slightly harder than the last helicopter. It requires skill, determination and brains. Firstly, do not be afraid to use up a hell of a lot of ammo. After quite awhile, you realise that there is some kind of pattern going on - the helicopter moves from one side to the other - it moves from one side to the opposite side. The idea is to hide behind the correct pillar, as well as shooting the other guys that come in. Just start off on the correct side and I'll tell you the rest. Firstly, when you hide being the pillar on the side of the room were you will be protected - always stand on the left pillar. When you are standing on the opposite side to the helicopter do this - Hide behind the left pillar. Then, when the helicopter comes up, focus and strafe right and do a cartwheel(s) all the way at the time shooting the helicopter. When you get to the right pillar wait for the helicopter to go down. Then look diagonal left and walk to that pillar this time you are at the side of the pillar instead of behind the pillar. So you have move to the left side of the room instead of moving to the other end. Repeat the process but this time you move to the left pillar on the opposite side. Then the left side, then the opposite side and so on. This is the way the helicopter moves. This pattern is very complex and you may have to work it out for your self. Once you have learnt the pattern off by heart, I guarantee you all you will need to do is use you skill and determination(and of course the old focus and SMG) If you can do this with not much trouble then you're a natural.
