Introduction

Welcome to my Wind Waker walkthrough guide. Hopefully I’ll be able to offer you all the help you need here to beat Nintendo’s superb Zelda title. I have also written other things about the game to help you even further. Good Luck!

Items/Weapons

Here is a list of all the items you’ll see in the menu when you press Start so there won’t be any items that are in the Bait Bags/ Spoils Bag or the Post Bag.

Telescope- With this, you’ll be able to see further away. The telescope is useful for planning attacks and seeing where to go on the boat. To get it, simply get it from your sister at the start of the game on Outset Island.

Sail- The sail will make you move faster through the water when you are riding the boat. You’ll need this for when you first set sail. Get it from the shopkeeper on Windfall for 80 rubies.

Spoils Bag- Holds items you collect such as Chu-Chu Jelly and other things. To get it, complete Niko’s challenge the first time you go onto the ship.

Bait Bag- Holds bait for you such as Hyoi Pears and Bait. Get it from Beedle’s boat which you’ll normally see in the Great Sea.

Post Bag- Holds letters for you. Get it from the postman at Dragon Roost Island.

Tingle Tuner-Call Tingle and use him. With him, you’ll be able to use his things such as Balloons and Magic Shields. But be warned, it will cost you rubies to pay for things so save up before you call him. To get the Tingle Tuner, go to Windfall Island and you’ll find a door behind the Elvis looking guy. Go in, smash the pots until you see a switch. Stand on it to release Tingle and he’ll give you it.

Grappling Hook- Hooks onto things that are marked in yellow. Press the Grappling Hook button and you can swing from one place to another. It can also steal items from enemies. When you are on your boat, the Grappling Hook becomes a crane, used for hooking thing up from the sea bed. You’ll be able to get it in Dragon Roost Cavern.

Deku Leaf- With this, you’ll be able to fly if you jump and press the Deku Leaf button. You’ll fly in the direction of the wind so be sure before you fly, change the wind direction to where you want it. Also, when you fly your magic meter will start to empty and when it is empty, you will fall. When you’re on the floor, use this to create a gust of wind, which will blow enemies away. Get it from the Deku Tree in Forest Haven.

Boomerang- Hits enemies that are marked in yellow, and comes back. The boomerang can hit 5 enemies at once. When an enemy is hit, it is stunned for a few seconds, giving you time for an attack but it doesn’t do any damage. Get it in the Forbidden Forest.

Bombs- Blows up entrances. It is also extremely effective against enemies but don’t be too close to the explosion, or you’ll get damaged. When you’re sailing on your boat, it becomes a cannon, used for again blowing things up but this time, it can shoot from afar. Get them from Niko, the 2nd time you complete his challenge on Windfall Island.

Arrows- Fire at enemies. They can be fired away from enemies, so enemies can’t reach you. These can hurt enemies so fired from afar, they are extremely effective against most enemies. There are 4 types of arrow, normal, fire, ice, and light and are all used for different purposes. You’ll get the normal arrows in The Tower of Gods.

Hammer- Smashes things to bits. It also sends out a shockwave, which stuns enemies but doesn’t do damage. The downfall is that it takes a long time to hit. Get it in the Forsaken Fortress the second time around.

Hookshot- Reels you into things that are marked yellow. You can sometimes use this to escape from battles you are losing. Get this in the Wind Temple.

Wind Waker- Play tunes to make something happen. You’ll receive tunes as you go through the game. You’ll get it from The King of Red Lions before you set foot on Dragon Roost Island.

Power Bracelets- With these, you’ll be able to hold heavy objects such as big rocks. You can get these in the Ice Mountain.

Helpful Tips

Here is a list of some tips which may help you throughout the adventure and make things a little easier.

When fighting enemies, you can steal items from them using the Grappling Hook. If you keep repeating the process, they’ll only give you green rubies, which are worth 1 ruby, which is no point in doing, so just do it once or twice.

When you get treasure maps, try to find the place that they are in. Sail to that place and when you can see an arrow on your map, direct yourself to the cross, then use the Grappling Hook, which is a crane, to hurl up treasure. The treasure is normally silver, which is worth a lot of rubies. There are 50 maps altogether.

Bear in mind that the boomerang can hit 5 enemies at once, which you’ll find is very useful when you get surrounded.

There are 4 bottles waiting in the Great Sea. One you’ll get from Medli, but the others you’ll have to find. They can be use to carry potions, water and fairies.

Sometimes in the Great Sea, you’ll spot a boat wandering around. Go in to the boat and you can buy things like bait, ammunition for your weapons and other things quite cheaply.

Again in the Great Sea near an island, you’ll spot a fish jumping, who will draw on the island he is next to. This will make exploring the Great Sea much easier as you’ll know where you are.

When using the Tingle Tuner, be sure to save up money, as the things you can get cost money. It’s better to use him in dungeons rather than towns so that you can get help defeating enemies, but won’t lose loads of money.

When searching the sea, try to find upgrades for your weapons so that you can carry more of something. (Write in where they are)

When fighting enemies, lock on to them. When you do, you can use more attacks, aswell as dodge them and you won’t lose sight of an enemy.

When you’re in the auction at Windfall Island, you can things cheaply by waiting until the man says there’s 10 seconds left. Wait a bit longer, then make a bid which is pretty good (About 30 rubies above the price it’s selling) and it’ll stun the bidders for a few seconds and there won’t be enough time for them to make their bid and you will get the prize.

Walkthrough

This is where I’ll explain how to do each part of the game and sometimes, give you hints. When I refer to grid references, use the world map. The numbers go up the side from bottom to top, and the letters go across the bottom from left to right. So if I say D6, go 4 across and 6 up. Read on…

Outset Island

This is the first island you’ll explore and it’s also where you begin your adventure. There won’t be a lot of enemies to kill and here you can start to master using the sword. There are also lots of rubies around this island, and these you can spend at Beedle’s boat to buy bait, or save up until later in the game.

Once the first cut-scene is over, climb down the ladder, over the bridge, and head west to your Grandma’s house, which is the house at the end. Enter, and talk to Grandma and she will give you your outfit.

Head back to your sister, who is still where you started. She’ll give you her Telescope as a birthday present. Equip it, and look at the postman, then zoom in. Look back up and you’ll see in the cut-scene the bird, which drops someone into the forest.

Head back down and go to the house where a man with a huge beard is standing at the top. Go in at the ground floor, and talk to Orca, the only man who knows anything about swordplay. Do the moves he tells you and he’ll give you the Hero’s sword, which you’ll need to attack with.

From here, go to start of the mountain, which is at the east. Head up until you reach a bridge. Jump over the gap and head into the forest. Make your way through the
forest, killing all the enemies. You can get 20 rubies in the log by crawling. When you reach the girl, whose name is Tetra, a pirate, kill the two enemies and rescue her. Watch the cut scene and you’ll end up by the pirate ship.

You’ll need to find a shield, so to Grandma’s house and she’ll give you it. You can head back to the pirate ship but you may want to get more rubies and buy bait before you go. You can get 60 rubies from the mother at the house which is at the very top if you give her pigs at 20 rubies per pig.

Also go to the house which is the furthest house east. Go in, crawl under the gap at the end, open the treasure box and get another 20 rubies.

You can also get bait from Beedle’s boat which you’ll see near the shore. Once you’re done, talk to Tetra, agree to go with them and then it’s time to depart.

Once the cut scene is finished, go down below the deck and talk to Niko. Complete his challenge, by swinging from rope to rope until you get to the end, and you’ll receive the Spoils Bag. Now go back to the top of the ship and climb the ladder to reach Tetra. Watch the Cut scene as you get swung into the air and land in the Forsaken Fortress.

Forsaken Fortress

This is where your adventure really starts to pick up. There’s lots of sneaking around and there’s hardly any enemies to kill. Be warned that if you’re spotted, you’ll be put into a cell. You’ll also lose your sword, but you’ll eventually get it. Just stay away from the pigs.

As you see in the cut scene, you’ll probably realize that your sword is missing. First of all, Tetra will speak to you through a magic stone. Once she’s finished speaking, climb up the steps and equip a barrel, which you’ll need for hiding in. Then, walk into the main area and turn right and go up. When the searchlights can’t see you, get rid of the barrel and climb the ladder. You’ll find a Mobling, so kill it by smashing the vases and getting the weapon so you can attack it. Once it’s dead, the spotlights will aim up into nowhere, so know it’s safe at the top.

Go back down, into the double doors. Only get the red ruby in the middle as the rest are either green or blue which don’t give you a lot. If a searchlight is about to see you, stop with the barrel on and they’ll go right pass it. When inside, go left and use a barrel to sneak past the sentries and go through the door. Follow the room around and sneak past another pig. Next, run to the ladder to avoid the laser. Climb the ladders and then Tetra will start talking. Go through the ark on the right and climb up.

Smash another pot and kill the Mobling. Climb the ladder down and turn right.
Swing across the room and get the dungeon map from the chest, then swing back, go through the door and continue upwards.

Equip a barrel and sneak past the pig. Get up the stairs and open the double doors. Sneak past the last pig with the barrel when he is looking away and searching. When he is, turn left and go up.

From here, simply sidle along the edge and get back you’re sword. Kill the Mobling and go through the doors.

If you are ever captured and put into a cell, you’ll find a vase which you can smash and you can get out. Just try to find a point which you recognize and carry on.

When you enter, just watch the cut scene, where you are grabbed by the bird and swung into the sea.

Windfall Island

This town is full of people and lots of things to do. But a lot of things aren’t available just yet so the only thing you have to do is get the sail.

When you need to get a sail, go west and talk to the shopkeeper, who will sell you a sail for 80 rubies.

There’s not much you can do just yet, but you can get the Tingle Tuner. Go to the Elvis looking and look south to see a door. Enter and smash all the vases until you see a switch. Stand on it, and release Tingle, who will give you a Tingle Chart and the Tingle Tuner. You can get money by pulling the block and crawling around, getting money. Here, you can also get a pictogram but unfortunately, it’s only in black and white.

Go back to The King of Red Lions (Your boat) and head in the direction of the wind. Look on your sea chart to find out exactly where to go.

Dragon Roost Island

When you land on this island, you’ll notice a large cloud swirling around above and a dragon going mad. There’s nothing to do here, but after you get the first pearl, you’ll need to change the wind direction and to do it, you’ll need a tune for the Wind Waker, which is around here.

When you land on the beach, The King of Red Lions will give you the Wind Waker. Do what he says, then turn left and then go upwards. To get past the stones, get a nearby bomb and plant it next to the stone and it will blow up. Continue along the path and then climb along and head to the Mail Centre.

Once you get the Post Bag from the postman, head up the ramp and turn left to reach Medli, a girl. Get the letter off her, then get to the ground floor and go through the pathway with no sentry. Enter through the door, and then give Komali the letter.

Before you go into the guarded door next to you, you may want to collect more rubies. If you do, then go up the ramp and keep going right until you see a postman. You’ve just got to put the right letters in the right boxes and every time you reach a certain target, your salary will go up.

Once your done, go back down to the guarded door, head forward and you will end up in a place with wind blowing in different directions. Go down the ladder and speak to Medli. Pick her up and stand on the raised section. Then, when the wind is blowing towards the opening, throw her and she will fly to it. When she’s up, she will give you a bottle and run off.

Fill the bottle with water, which is coming out from the rock, and pour the water onto a dried Bomb Plant. Once it’s back to normal, throw one near the huge rock. When it blows up, it’ll flood the canyon, and you’ll be able to swim to the broken bridge at the end, where you threw Medli. Climb to the bombs, then throw one into the pot and the rock will fall. Do it for both rocks, and then run over the bridge and jump. Head into the blackness to Dragon Roost Cavern.

Dragon Roost Cavern

This is where you’ll encounter lots of enemies and you’ll face some quite hard puzzles. Stay alert for enemies, who could surprise you. Also, don’t touch the lava, otherwise, you’ll have to do that part again and you’ll lose health. Here, you’ll also get the chance to use the Grappling Hook, which is very useful. Also try to kill all the red ChuChus as they will give you Red Jelly, which can be transformed into a health restoring potion, which is at Windfall Island. Just stay alert and don’t fall into the lava.

When you see 3 blocks blocking the path, just move the bottom left one away from the entrance. Enter, then kill the Moblings, who have sticks. When they’re dead, get one of the lit sticks and light the torches. Then, get the key from the chest.

Enter through the door which you can unlock, then smash through with your sword. Go left, and jump over the gap, then pull the block towards you, then climb onto it and jump. Use the bombs to reveal a door.

Throw a jug into the lava, which is actually called an urn, then jump onto the platform you made. Climb up, then go through the door you’ll see. After that, use the Mobling’s sword to smash through the panels.

When you see a ledge jump onto it and smash the wood to get the key, then go through the left hand door. When you see another ledge, stand on it, get a rock and denote the bombs which will blow up the rock that’s blocking the path.

Once through, set fire to the boards and jump onto the switch. When you are outside, go right over the bridge and climb the ladder but don’t hit the fire that comes through the ladder, just wait and then keep climbing. Once you’re up, sidle along the edge and again dodge the fire.

After the ledge, use the bomb you can see to reveal a door. When you see a tower of blocks, arrange them so that you can get to the top. Go through and pull another block.

Once you enter a room with rats, climb the ladder to the left of you, then get the stick and light it. Then just throw it into the wood opposite you, then get the key. Open the door, and then when you’re outside, turn right and kill the bird guarding the nest. Get the key inside it, then open the door behind you.

When you are inside, set fire to the door, then the torches. Once that’s done smash all the vases around you and you’ll see some Moblings. Kill them, then light the torches to get the chart.

Upstairs, throw an urn into the lava, then jump across and kill the giant sort of centipede. Jump back, then throw another urn into the lava which bubbles, then jump onto it, and it’ll ride you to the top. Now jump off and go through the door.

When you see huge rocks, blow them up to reveal a doorway. Once you are outside, turn right and climb up the collapsing stairs, then go right. The door will gate will close on you and you’ll have to kill the 2 pigs. Kill them and free Medli. She will now give you the Grappling Hook. Go up the ramp to the left, then use your Grappling Hook to swing across. Jump down, then turn left and swing across to the right until you reach a door. Enter.

When you see a bridge, cut the ropes off it and you’ll drop down onto a long platform. Enter the door and when you are in, go into the cage, and use the spinning attack to cut all three cords off at the same time. Jump into the doorway.

When you see a beam, use the Grappling Hook to swing. Stop the swinging by pressing R, then turn right and start to gain speed, then jump off. From now on, just grapple the beams and land on the platforms until you reach a doorway.

Enter the room, then turn the centipede into a ball, then hold it and place it on the switch. Then quickly open the chest and get the Big Key.

Retrace your steps, so firstly swing across each platform until you reach the last one, then turn right and start swing again, then jump off. Next, jump back onto the platform in the cage, then jump back off once it reaches the top. When you see the bridge that has collapsed, open the chest firstly that is in front of you, then throw an urn into the bubbling lava, jump on, then jump back off once it’s reached the platform which is at the top. Enter through the door, then swing across until you see another door on the right. Enter, then grapple onto the beam above the lava, then swing across. Use the bottle to get the fairy, restore on health, and open the chest aswell. You can also kill the centipede. Once you’re ready, unlock the door with the Big Key and enter to find the boss.

Once the cut scene is finished, equip the Grappling Hook and aim towards Valoo’s tail, which you’ll see at the top. Hook onto it, then swing to the other side and land onto the ground, and a huge piece of rock will fall onto the boss. Don’t wait to long before you hook onto Valoo’s tail or the boss will attack you, but there is health nearby in the vases. Grapple Valoo’s tail three times to get rid of the bosses armour. Once that’s done wait in a spot and the boss’s huge claws will trap you. Now target it’s eye before it can breath fire. If it does breathe fire, run to one of it’s claws and sometimes it won’t hit you. Hit the eye with your sword and soon the boss will die. Get the Heart container and then teleport out of the dungeon. Get Din’s pearl off Kolami, then head through the opening which is North. Then get your first tune for the Wind Waker, which is called The Wind’s Requiem. Change the wind direction to South, get on your boat and head that way. Again use the map to see exactly how far to go. Before you leave, the fish will draw on Dragon Roost Island onto you’re map. Try to do this all the time, just throw bait next to him and he’ll draw the island onto your map and give you advice. Head to Forest Haven.

Forest Haven

This place is home to Koroks and the Deku Tree. There are only enemies outside the actual place, but these can be defeated quite easily. Use the grappling Hook to steal Boba Baba seeds, which can be made into a blue potion, which is very handy. You’ll be able to make blue potions inside.

When you land, go forward and kill the plant like enemy. Turn left and grapple onto the beam and swing onto the platform in the river. Kill the octopus by using your shield to deflect back his ball thing and hit him. Grapple again and swing to where the octopus was then turn right and enter.

When inside, do not collect the water as it is actually spring water which takes twenty minutes to turn back into normal water and you can’t get rid of spring water. Head right, towards the huge tree, which is the Deku Tree, and talk to him. When all the ChuChus appear, roll into him and they’ll fall and you’ll be able to kill them. Collect the Chu-Chu Jelly, then talk to the Deku Tree. Now go to the Bada Bud on the floor.

Jump into it, then turn yourself so that you wil launch into the next one. Press forward while in the air to go to the next one. If you don’t have time to turn, don’t press forward and you’ll land in the same one. Make your way to the top and collect the Deku Leaf.

Once you’ve got it, jump and press the Deku Leaf button to fly to the arrow in front of you. Store up on Magic as you don’t want to run out of it and fall. Now enter and go outside.

Set the wind direction towards the nearer island which is North-West. Ask the Korok if you don’t know if you’ve got it right, which is next to you. Now jump and fly to the lower island and land on it. Restore on Magic before you try the next step. Face the island North-East of you which is also higher up than the one you are on. Change the wind direction to North-East using the Wind Waker’s Wind’s Requiem. Now you have to jump at the right time and hit the cyclone to raise you to the island. Use the button assigned to the Deku Leaf to hit the flying enemies and then land on it and enter.

Forbidden Forest

This is where the 2nd dungeon is and you’ll need to use the Boomerang and the Deku Leaf a lot to get past the puzzles. There aren’t too many enemies here, but you’ll see a few enemies which are hard. You will also need to make sure that when you’re fighting an enemy that the things that hang on to you don’t slow you down. Get rid of them by using the spinning sword that kill most of them. You should also try to kill all the ChuChus as they will give you Green Jelly, which can be transformed into a magic healing potion at Windfall Island. You can also restore Magic by jumping into Bada Buds repeatedly.

Turn right and kill all the Green ChuChus and get the map from the chest. Get the nut and go near the door with a plant on it. Don’t go to close otherwise itt’ll close. Throw the nut at it and enter.

In the next area, use your Deku Leaf and the buds to get across to the other side, then kill the Green ChuChus so that they don’t get in the way, then use a bomb to kill the plant and go into the next area.

Get the platform back to you by using the Deku Leaf to blow the rotors and it’ll come back to you. Then turn the other way and again blow the rotors until you reach the end. Jump off and enter.

Go right and use the buds to jump to the top. Once you’re up use your Leaf to blow the rotor to the right of you so that the platform comes down. Jump on, then blow the left rotor to get to the top. Get the nut and put it somewhere on the platform which won’t get in the way and it won’t blow off. Now blow the far rotor until you reach the end. Grab the nut and throw it at the plant so that you can enter.

In the next area where there’s a nut in the middle, simply blow the nut using your Leaf to blow the nut away from the spiky vines. When it’s safe to get it, go to the door with a plant on it and throw the nut when it’s open. Now it’s safe to enter.

Turn right and grapple to the next platform, then jump onto the moving vines. Once they’ve moved, jump onto the next one and then jump onto the platform and get the nut which you’ll see. Now head towards the door with another plant on it, then throw the nut at it and enter through the door.

When you enter a room which seems like there’s nothing around, head left and dodge the vines that jump out at you when you get close to them. Smash the wood with your sword and open the chest. Throw a bomb at the wooden door next to you and it’ll blow off. Now head back to where you were and then make your way towards the chest and dodging the vines, which will come out when you’re close to them. Get the small key and then head back to the door you came from.

Go back to the big room and use your key to open another door on the third floor. Get across the platform and then use the buds to get to the top of the tree. Go through the unlocked door.

When you face the flying enemy, dodge his attacks, and then once he’s on the ground, run up to him and start using your sword. He’ll also send out enemies to slow you down but if they’re on you, use the spinning sword attack to kill them. Just keep hitting him with your sword and soon, he’ll die. Once he’s lost his wings just keep hitting him. You can now get the Boomerang. To get out, target the 2 lanterns with your Boomerang at the top of the door and then you can escape. Enter through the unlocked door.

When you enter an area with lots of spiky nuts, cut through all of them with your Boomerang and then fly across to the platform. Open the chest and open the door.

When you see 5 blue vines, cut them with your Boomerang and jump down to the bottom where the huge flower was. Now go through the opening you’ll be able to see.

Jump onto the flower and cut the 5 cords again with your boomerang, so that it drops to the floor. Now use your Deku Leaf to blow the flower downstream towards the 2 octopuses. Deflect their attacks so that they kill them and jump onto the platform. Then go through the door on your right.

When you see a huge tree mound, go to the top of it and use your Boomerang to target the 5 lanterns altogether so that the door at the bottom opens. Go down and get the Big Key, then you’ll encounter 2 pigs. Defeat them using your sword and weapons, then head back up to the top of the mound and grapple the beam and jump to a platform. Enter through the door.

When you’re at the blue flower, blow the rotor, then use the buds to jump to the 2nd floor. Kill the vines and the 2 enemies. Now you’re ready to face the boss. Like before, stock up on health, fairies and magic. Open the door to fight your second boss.

Once you see Makor and the plant has swallowed him, equip your Boomerang and cut off all the cords. Once the plant has dropped, run towards the central flower and keep hitting him. Don’t worry about health as there’s lots of it nearby. Repeat the process until the plant falls and dies. Get the heart container to raise your health then teleport back to the Deku Tree. He’ll give you Farore’s Pearl. Listen to the song and then go back to the boat. You may have enough Boba Baba Seeds to have a blue potion, which you’ll find is useful. You may also want to stock up on rubies by cutting the grass for them. You can also talk to the Deku Tree to see where all the Koroks are. Once your done, head back to the boat, make sure the wind is North-West and sail to the next destination and throw bait to next to the fish to get the island drawn then head on.

Greatfish Island
Hunt For Jabun

There’s nothing here you can do except trade something to a man on a boat. Don’t stay here for long, just do what you’ve got to do and then go to the next destination.

When you reach Greatfish Island, you’ll find that Jabun has left for Outset Island. When the postman talks to you just listen to him, then set the wind direction to Windfall Island and once again, throw bait next to the fish and he’ll draw on the island.

Windfall Island

You’ve been to this island before, but this time, the pirates are here. If you’ve got 15 Chu-Chu Jelly of the sme colour, then trade them for a red or blue potion. If you still got the blue potion, keep that as it is much better as it restores magic and health. There is also an auction nearby, and you’ll be able to get things that you may need later.

When you land, go to the bomb shop which is left of where you are, then sidle along the edge at the side. After that, climb the vines to the top and crawl into the gap.

When you enter, you’ll see the pirates have tied up the shop keeper. Note the password that they say and don’t forget it. Once they’re gone, head out and go their boat which is where the Elvis like guy was. Jump on and write the password at the door to enter.

When you’re in go back to where you went on your first visit. Talk to Niko and complete his challenge by first pressing the switch and then swing from platform to platform but this time, you have to turn the beams the right way. When you’ve done his challenge, get the bombs from the chest, then leave. Now that you’re done, finish off any unfinished business, then go back to your boat, set the wind direction to South, then sail to Outset Island.

Outset Island

This is where you started your adventure and is pretty much the same but when you arrive, it’s full of ChuChus and if you also go into your house, your Grandma is not very well, but apart from that, it’s pretty much the same.

When you arrive on Outset Island, you’ll notice that it’s still night time, so you have as much time as you want since it’ll stay like that. You should first get the ruby upgrade. To do so, go up to the top of the mountain where the bridge was, then go to the top. Make sure your magic is full and the wind is blowing directly to the forest. Then equip your Deku Leaf and fly across to the other side, then enter.

When you’re in, go forward until you reach a huge rock. Blow it up with a bomb, then go into the hole that has now appeared. Go forward and the fairy will give you a ruby upgrade. Get a fairy in front of you, and even if you got a anything in your bottle get the fairy as you can get something even better. When you’re done into the beam of light and you’ll rise to where you was before. Head out, then get to your house. You’ll see that Grandma is ill, so give her a fairy and she’ll recover. Then she will give you Elixer Soup, which restores health and magic, gives you double power until you get hit and there are 2 fillings, which is also helpful. If you’ve got more than 1 bottle, get as much of her soup as you can as it’s probably the best thing you can carry in your bottle.

Once you’re done, head back to you’re boat and go round the island towards a whirlpool. Get sucked in, then use you’re bombs to blow the rock blocking your path to Jabun. You have to hit it from the top, to the bottom until all of it is blown off. If you do fail, don’t worry, you’ll end back at Outset Island. When you complete it go inside the opening that you’ve blown off and get the Nayru’s Pearl.

Now you’ve got to place all the pearls where they are marked on the map. When you get to the island marked place the right pearl into the statue, then get the fish to mark you’re chart. Repeat for all 3 islands and then you’ll see in the cut scene The Tower of the Gods rise from the water. Enter.

The Tower of the Gods

This is defiantly quite a hard dungeon, with a lot of tough enemies and there are also a lot of puzzles that can be very tricky to work out. There are new enemies to discover and some of those need thinking about and quick reflexes. You can also try and kill all of those ChuChus as they’ll give you Chu-Chu Jelly. Also you’ll get the Bow and Arrows here and these can be used for long ranged attacks. Just be prepared for what’s coming.

When you enter, sail north-east and jump onto the platform, then put one of the statues on the glowing pad to enter. When you enter, jump into the pit in front of you and put one of the boxes on the glowing pad when the water isn’t there. Once the bridge is there, wait for the water to go back down and cross it to get the statue. Carry it across the bridge when the water is down then enter through the door. Now put the statue into the groove left of where you are.

When the gate opens, go through it on your boat and then put the statues on the glowing pads to enter the door. Then when you’re in, jump into the pit and push the boxes in a straight line to the end when the water is down. Then when the water is back up, jump across the boxes to the end and light the torches by getting the stick on fire from the other torch, then light the other one to get the small key. Go back and enter your boat.

Sail across to the other side and use your bombs, which is a cannon on your boat, to blow up the wall. Go through, then enter the lower door and kill all the ChuChus and collect the Chu-Chu Jelly. Grab the statue, and take it to the upper deck and place it into the groove to change the flow of water. Go into the other door which is north and kill the ChuChus and get their Chu- Chu Jelly. Wait for the water to rise, then blow up the wall panels until you find a chest with a Dungeon Map. Go back out and light the torch below by setting fire to one of the sticks to light the torch. Open the chest, then go back to your boat and enter through the pathway in the middle where there was a waterfall.

Go forward until you see a laser beam and then carry one of the statues over to the other side when the eye is turned away from you. Place it on the glowing pad and then stand on the last glowing pad to start the platforms. Make your way to the top by jumping from platform to platform. Enter through the door and ride the platform across.

When you enter the large room, go right and enter the glowing door. Go through the next door and then get to the other side by going across the platform in the middle and jumping. Read the tablet and call the statue. Make it follow you and make your way through the maze. When it stops by the corner, go to the end of the other corner and call it again until you reach the end where you have to jump over, but make sure you are carrying the statue before you jump. Make your way back to the large room and read the tablet he gives you. It’s a new song for the Wind Waker. It allows you to control some people. Now go through the west door that is now glowing.

Grapple the thing above you before the flaming skull sees you and enter through the door in front of you. Use the Deku Leaf or grapple to get to the other side and stand on the glowing pad. Then use Command Melody to control the statue and cross the bridge to the end and go back to yourself. Get back over by grappling or using the Deku Leaf, then pick him up and go through the door.

Before you go left towards the other door, you’ll receive a message from The King of Red Lions about leaving the statues. Cross to the other door and defeat the knight by countering his attacks, which you can do by pressing A when the knight is about to attack you. Defeat him, then get the Bow and Arrows.

When you enter where you were before, shoot the eye with you’re arrows to get it moving then using the moving platform to get back to the large room. Now you have to enter the final door.

When you enter another large room, turn right and enter through the gap which is just above the water and enter. Now make your way to the top by jumping from platform to platform until you reach the eye. Shoot it and go across to get the small key. Go back down and get back to where the water was. Climb up and chuck the statues onto one side of the platforms so that one is down and the other is high enough for you to reach the other platform. Jump and enter the door in front of you.

Now you have to climb onto the statue in the middle and use the Deku Leaf to fly across the beams. Call the idol and control him using the Command Melody to pass the beams and stand on the switch. Go to him and carry him back to the main room. On the way, to get past the water, you’ll have to leave the statue and again unbalance the platforms so that one is high. Go back to him and jump onto the higher platform, then onto the other side to get to the main to the main room.

Step into the light and go to the top. Destroy the laser turrets by throwing bombs and then place the statues onto the glowing pads to get the Big Key. Destroy the statues by hitting their weak spot at the back. Go through the door.

Make your way to the other side by destroying the laser turrets with arrows. If the harder ones annoy you just run through them and even if you lose life, you can’t get hit for a bit and then you can run and there’s health nearby. Get to the other side and
Collect the health, collect the fairies (Unless you got Grandma’s Elexier Soup) and then save. Enter the door and face the boss.

To defeat him, lock-on to one of the hands and fire arrows onto the weak spot until they go limb. Now lock-on to the eyes and fire arrows at them. Now throw a bomb into his mouth and keep repeating until he dies. If he breathes fire roll out of the way and don’t fall into the electric. When you are outside, climb the ladder and grapple the bell to start it ringing and then you’ll enter The Underwater Castle which is under the ocean.

The Underwater Castle

At first, it seems that there is nothing to do here, but soon, the enemies that appear to be frozen become mobile and will attack. There are lots of them, but take them out one at a time and you’ll do fine.

From the boat go into the castle and get to the middle of it and you’ll find 3 massive blocks. Here you’ll have to rearrange the blocks to form the Triforce symbol in a triangle. Be careful as the blocks won’t move like normal ones. Once they’re done, go down the stairway which has opened. Then go to the sword and pick it up. You have now received the amazing Master Sword and it has now replaced the Hero’s Sword, but don’t worry. But now the enemies unfreeze and become normal, so get back up and kill every enemy to make the beams that block the doorway disappear. Use any items you have got to you’re advantage and take them out one by one. Collect the items they drop and make sure you get the Knights Crests as sooner, you’ll be able to get the Whirling Blade and this is a brilliant move helps. You don’t need it but it is very helpful in situations. Once all the enemies are dead, go back to your boat, go into the glowing light and you’ll be back outside to The Tower of Gods.

Get the fish to draw on you’re chart and change the wind direction to north-west and get to Forsaken Fortress which is in the top-left corner. Head there and when you eventually reach it, circle around the fortress until you see a huge wooden door and blow it up with your cannon, which are the bombs. Enter.

Forsaken Fortress

You have been here before and there is hardly any difference but this time, you’ll meet Phantom Ganon and it doesn’t matter about being seen by pigs or Spotlights as you are now equipped with the Master Sword.

When you arrive, go up the stairs and you’ll find Phantom Ganon. When he fires at you, deflect his shots and keep hitting it until the ball smashes him to the ground. Now go up to him and use your sword to defeat him. When he teleports, get ready to do the same and repeat until he’s dead. Get the Hammer out of the chest and go through the double doors.

From here, go right until you see a ladder and climb it before the enemies can attack you. Jump onto the other platform and smash the barricades with your hammer to enter. Go up the path and then turn left and enter through the door. Float across the gap using your Deku Leaf and smash the barricades with your Hammer and make your way to the top like you did on your first visit. Don’t bother killing the Mobling with the searchlight. When you get to the top, hit the switch with the Hammer and enter the door.

When the bird appears, run up the path and make your way to the top. Don’t bother killing the enemies when they jump out at you as it is no point and you’ll waste time. Keep rolling and jump across the gaps when the wood collapses. If you fall, you’ll have to grapple to get to the top. When you see the bird at the top, hit it with your Hammer.

When the bird attacks you, wait for it to peck and hit it with your sword. Keep repeating and make sure you are lock-on to it otherwise you’ll lose sight of it. Roll out of the way when the bird swoops down at you and when its helmet is off, keep hitting it with you’re sword to kill it. If it blows gusts of wind at you, roll towards it so that you don’t hit the spikes on the wall. Once it’s dead, go through the pathway leading to the room where Ganon is. Watch the cut scene, where Ganon captures Tetra but gets rescued and you’ll end up at The Tower of Gods.

The Underwater Castle

Nothing here at all and all you have to do is go down to where the Master Sword was and talk to the man.

Get back to where the Master sword was, which is under the stairway that has opened. Talk to him and watch Tetra turn into Princess Zelda. Go out and back to your boat and up to the sea.

Get the Fire and Ice Arrows
To get the different types of arrows, first you’ll need to find the wind god, cyclos, which is in a huge cyclone. Get sucked into it and use your arrows to hit Cyclops 3 times and eventually he’ll give up and give you a new Wind Waker song, The Ballad of Gales. Learn how to use it, then warp to B6 on the map to land in a pool and a giant fairy will give you the arrows you need.

Now warp to F6, which is Dragon Roost Island and head south 1 square. Fire an Ice Arrow at the plume of lava. Get to the top by climbing the ledges to the right but be quick, there is time. Once inside, jump to the other platform and kill the 2 enemies to get the Power Bracelets from the chest. Lift the huge stone and enter the light to get back to the surface. Once again get the fish to draw on the island on your map.

Go to F2 using The Ballad of Gales and go west 1 square to reach an icy island. Fire a Fire Arrow at the ice ring to melt it, allowing you to get through. Get to the pool with ice platforms on it and make your way to the other side, making sure you don’t fall off. Enter the hole and kill the bats with the Boomerang. Now slowly make your way to the other side and don’t fall off the chute. Get the Iron Boots and go the other way, using the Iron Boots to make sure you don’t fall off. You can fall down the hole and unfreeze all the enemies and kill them to get 1000 rubies and it is well worth it, but you don’t have to. Get out and if you have enough time, go round the edge and find a chest that is frozen. Unfreeze it and collect your prize.

Once you’re done, get to Outset Island and if you want, get some Elexier Soup. Head east to Headstone Island, which is C1 and lift the head blocking the entrance. Enter and learn Earth God’s Lyric.

Warp to Dragon Roost Island, which is F6 and enter the building where the postmen are. Go up the ramp and turn left by the postman. Turn right when you are outside and grapple across. Climb the ladder and talk to Medli. Now play the Earth God’s Lyric. Watch the cut scene and head back to the boat with Medli on board, get to Headstone Island using The Ballad of Gales, and enter the door using the Earth God’s Lyric.

Earth Temple

In this dungeon, you’ll need Medli to solve some puzzles and here you will also get the Mirror Shield. With Medli, you can fly for a bit and you can also use her shield to reflect light. There are also a few tricky enemies so beware and you will also have to use the Mirror Shield you get to solve other puzzles. Stay alert as some enemies will jump out at you.

When you enter, pick up Medli and throw her across the gap onto the other platform and then jump across. Carry Medli through the door and then go up the ramp and then fly over the gap by carrying Medli and jumping with her. Stand on the switch and command Medli to fly to the other switch on the other platform. Make her stand on the switch and the door will open. Kill the enemies and enter it.

When you see ChuChus, lure them into the light to startle them and throw one to kill it. Kill them all, then command Medli and stand in a beam of light, then press A to reflect the light. Now aim in the middle and hit the chest with the light and open the chest you see to get the dungeon map.

Go through the door, then equip your Deku Leaf and Hammer. Stand to the right of the statue then use the Deku Leaf to blow the mist and reveal a switch. Quickly hit the switch with your Hammer, but make sure you don’t go into the mist, otherwise you can’t use your items. Go left into the door.

When you are in the room, climb up, and then pull the block to reveal a beam of light. Command Medli, then use her to light the chest on the raised part to get the small key. Get back to the room with a statue, then head right, through the door. Kill the red and green ChuChus and then set fire to the banners using your fire arrows. When you see 2 switches, put Medli on one of them, then petrify another ChuChu by putting it in a beam of light, then pick it up and place it on the other switch. Now quickly run up the stairs and push the large block next to you down so that Medli can get up. Go down, the throw Medli up the block and follow her until you reach the top. After that, kill the floor masters and make sure they don’t get Medli or you, otherwise you’ll need to get back down from the cage and this just wastes time so use long ranged weapons against them. Then push the first block left.

Now shine Medli’s light at the statue and then the swirls you will see. Pull the block and climb up. Next, kill the enemies and go up and left. Fall into the pit and get the small key. Now go back and unlock the door. Kill the skeletons and receive the Mirror Sheild. The old shield will be replaced by the Mirror Shield. Stand in a beam of light and use your new shield to reflect the light at the seal. After that, shine Medli’s light at the centre of the room. Switch to Link and then use the Mirror Shield to break the wall.

Carry on and go through the door you see. Float over the gap and shine both lights at the statue’s eyes. Go into the pathway and all the way down, then go over the bridge. Now play Earth God’s Lyric to unlock the door.

Go through it and defeat all then enemies before you do this as they won’t get in the way. Then stand in a beam of light at the 2 statues and the left- hand mirror, then go through the door on the right. Now run through the fog quickly and avoid the enemies and keep going until you reach a chest. Get the small key from it, and go back.

Go through the door opposite you and then run past the fog, smash the switch and push the statue. Go back again, then throw Medli up and push the block to form a step. Go through the door.

Place Medli in a beam of light and shine her and shine her shield at the large statue. Walk in front of all the caskets and kill all the enemies. When you see the huge door, play the Earth’s God Lyric to unlock the door. Enter.

Blast the warp cauldron to the right of you to activate it and then go downstairs. Float over the gap and then go through the door on the left.

This part is pretty tricky. First of all, jump down and then push the 2 statues towards the walls. Command Medli and fly to the top of the central turret. Then stand on the switch. Now place Medli on a light pedestal and get rid of the statue. Aim the light into the dark corner where the ground is raised. Now switch back to Link and go to the dark corner and then shine Medli’s light using your Mirror Shield at the swirl to destroy the wall. Push the statues you see into place by pushing them along the path. Now go to the other side with Link and stand on the taller pedestal to get rid of the final statue. Swap Link for Medli and shine her light to the small plkatform. Now destroy the wall and get the last block. Pull the block into place to complete the circuit. Now shine light into the head’s eyes. Kill the 2 skulls and the knight to get the Big Key. Now you’ll need to get back to the large room with vines.

Climb up the vines and command Medli to fly to the platform and then follow her using your Deku Leaf. Like before, restore your health and collect the fairies if you haven’t got Elexier Soup. Save just in case and then enter the door to the boss.

When you see the boss, quickly run into a beam of light and use your Mirror Shield to aim at the boss. When he is stunned, grab him and throw him into the spikes at the edge of the room. Now attack his mini ghosts and try to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Keep repeating the strategy until you finish the boss and defeat all his mini ghosts. If you are quick enough, the boss may not have enough time to attack you and this is an easy boss if you can do it. Finally, avoid his lantern by staying away from it and when the boss blows gusts of air, keep rolling forward until he stops. When he’s defeated, you need to head off to the Wind Temple.

Gale Island

Warp to Windfall Island, which is D6, then sail 1 square north to Gale Island. When you get there, there is a heavy wind blowing and you can not enter, so put on your Iron Boots and then use your Hammer to smash the switch and enter the doorway to gain entry to the temple. Learn the Wind God’s Aria in there, then warp to Haven Forest, which is at F2, then kill the enemies and grapple into the waterfall, where you’ll see notes. Enter to find Makor. Talk to him and then play the new song you learnt, which is Wind God’s Aria. Go back to the boat with Makor, then warp to Windfall Island, which is at D6 and head north 1 square to find Gale Island. Put on your Iron Boots, then grab Makor and enter the temple. Play the Wind God’s Aria to unlock the door. Enter.

Wind Temple

This place is quite hard and there’s a few puzzles that are tricky. Again there are the Floor Masters which you don’t want to get grabbed by. Use long ranged attacks for them and here you will also receive the Hookshot. Stay alert and don’t let the Floor Masters grab Makor. Also, don’t just use your sword; use all your weapons to your advantage. Just be careful.

When you enter, jump down and defeat the 2 enemies and then use command Makor and go to one of the patch of dirt and press A to plant a seed. Do this for the other one and then fly Makor to the other platform. Then jump on the switch you find. Now jump onto the lower spring and equip the Iron Boots to press the switch, then take them off to spring to a higher platform. Stand on the other switch and then again use the Iron Boots to spring higher and then use the Deku Leaf to get to Makor.

Defeat the statues you see by hitting their weak spot, then use the Deku Leaf to blow the rotors and then plant seeds using Makor. Now command Makor to fly up the platforms and plant seeds on the platforms he goes on. Now go through the right hand door.

Defeat all the enemies you see using your weapons to your advantage, then go through the eastern door. Avoid the blade and then use your Iron Boots to smash the right hand square and enter the hole where the square was. Now use the Deku Leaf to blow the rotor. Walk through the wind, then use the Deku Leaf to blow the rotor again. Jump from the spring again using your Iron Boots, and when you reach the top, go through the right hand door. Enter.

Float over the updraft on the left platform, then jump onto the switch. Now float to the other platform and go through the hole in the fence ahead of you. Get the Dungeon Map from the chest and then float back through the fence. Now float left through the open fences. Float to the far platform and then go through the right hand door.

Once you’ve entered, use the Iron Boots you have to stand on the switch. Go to the bottom of the room and then go through the south door. Smash the panel with the Iron Boots, then kill the ChuChus you see. Pull the spring under the hole that you see, then push the block. Jump up and use your Deku Leaf to float over the spikes. Get the Small Key from the chest and exit the room.

Get back to the tall room and then go down to the bottom by jumping from platform to platform and then go through the opposite door that is locked. Kill the mini boss by killing all the enemies he sends to attack you and then fire arrows at him and he will eventually die. Get the Hookshot and then get back to the large room.

Use your Hookshot to climb up the platforms. When you reach the huge head, stand in front of it and equip the Iron Boots, then use the Hookshot at the forehead where the circles are and the head will fall and you can now rescue Makor. Command him, then use your Hookshot to reach the head to the west and then fly to the west platform.

Go through the door and use your Hookshot to climb the trees. Kill the skulls you see and make sure you use the Deku Leaf to get rid of the blue flames surrounding them. Then command Makor and plant seeds on the dirt patches. Now hit the switches to open the door and then fan the cover. Then jump onto the fan cover.

Fly Makor to the dirt patches and plant seeds to start the fan. Use the Deku Leaf to fly Link and Makor to the west platform. Now go through the door. Fly Makor across to the other platform, and then move across the rotor and then stand on the spring with your Iron Boots and spring. Now play the Wind God’s Aria at the huge door and enter.

Kill the 3 knights by locking on to one of them and then press A when they are about to attack and keep doing this until they are dead. Collect the Big Key and then get back to the large room with a propeller. Fly to the door at the top. Enter and defeat the statues and then get the Small Key. Fall beneath the fan and go through the door that’s locked. Use your Hookshot to the switch and open the door. Fly Makor over and plant a seed, then use the Hookshot to get across and enter the door.

Use your Iron Boots to push the block over the blade to stop it. Climb over the block and push the block into the trench. Then use the other 2 blocks to stop the blades and then go back and carry Makor across and go over the block. Play the Wind God’s Aria to unlock the door. Now drop into the sand and get ready for the boss.

To kill the boss, use your Hookshot to hit the tip of its tongue when its mouth is open. Hit it when you see the yellow mark. Now go to it and use your sword to hit it and keep repeating the process to defeat it. To take out the smaller sharks, hit them with your Hookshot and then hit them with your sword a few times to kill them. Keep running around to avoid the shark when it’s in the air or ground and when you see the sand sinking, keep rolling so that you don’t get swallowed. When it’s defeated you will have restored the Master sword.

The Triforce Shards

1st Shard- From where you are warp to Outset Island on B2, and make sure you have at least 1 of the ruby upgrades otherwise you won’t be able to afford the item. Go to the post box and pay 201 rubies for the IN-credible Chart, then go to the big rock on the hill. Cut the grass to get magic, then set the wind direction to West and fly to platform with the big head. Pick it up and throw it, then enter.

Keep killing the enemies at each stage and don’t be afraid to use other weapons other than the sword. When you reach the bottom, play the Wind’s Requiem on the blue circle to get a Triforce Chart. Go to Tingle Island and talk to Tingle to translate the chart. Be warned that it costs money. Go to D3 to get the Triforce Shard.

2nd Shard- Now you may want to get more money as you have another 7 charts to translate and once your done getting money, Sail to C3 and lift the stone head to enter the battle dungeon. Kill all the enemies and get the Triforce Chart, then again go to Tingle Island on C5 and get the chart translated. Go to F7 and get the 2nd shard.

3rd Shard- Go to B3 and blow up the ships guarding the entrance to the cave with bombs. Enter the cave and get the chart. Get it translated by Tingle on Tingle Island, then go to B4 and get the 3rd Triforce Shard.

4th Shard- If you have saved up Joy Penents and have got 21 you are ready for the next chart. If not go to Dragon Roost Cavern and collect them there as there are a lot of Moblings. When you are ready, go to Windfall Island on D6 and go to the place where the gang of boys were, then enter the teacher’s door and give her a Joy Penent. Now give her an extra 20 Joy Penents and she’ll give you the Cabana Deed. Exit and go to your boat and go to E3 where you’ll see a huge pool. Go to the door and you can enter. When you are inside, grapple to the beam above you and go through the fireplace. In the tunnel, make your way along and when you find 2 zombies, kill them and smash the pots and get the next chart. Get it translated and then head to where it shows to get the next shard.

5th Shard- Before you do the next shard make sure you get as many Hyoi Pears as you can from Beedle’s Boat so that if you fail you don’t have to go back and get some more. Go to G3 and grapple to the top of the small island. Kill all the birds with fire or ice arrows. Now put a Hyoi Pear on top of your head to control a seagull. Fly through all the lanterns to open the gate and get the chart. Get it translated and then go to C3 to get the 5th shard.

6th Shard- Sail to G7 and then use your Hookshot to get to each tree. Make your way to the end by repeating the process and climbing from tree to tree and then drop down into the dungeon. Kill the enemies and play the Wind’s Requiem to get the chart and again get it translated by Tingle, then go to D1 to get the next shard.

7th Shard- Sail to A3 and find the group of bomb ships. Then use your Bombs to blow up all the bomb ships and then blow up the golden one. Sail to that spot and use your Grappling Hook to get the next Triforce Chart. Again get it translated, then go toG2 to find the 7th Triforce Shard.

8th Shard- To get the final Triforce Shard, sail to A2 and use your Hookshot to get to the top of the island and then fall into the hole that you find. Now you have to warp to the end by using the correct cauldron and when you do, open the chest to find the Ghost Chart. Now you have to find the Ghost Ship on your chart. You can only find it at night time so use the song that changes the time of day. Now sail to the ship and enter. Kill the wizard at the end and then get the chart. Get it translated for the last time and then go to B1 to find the final Triforce Shard.

Once you got the last Shard, go to the Tower of Gods and go down the sea to the Underwater Castle. Go down the stairs where the statue was and watch the cut scene. Kill the knights, then exit the castle by the other way. Smash the barrier with your Master Sword and then go along the path and kill the enemies. Keep going along it until you reach a broken bridge. Use your Hookshot to get over it and then repeat to get over it again. Go inside.

Ganon’s Tower

This place is the last place that you will go to and here at the start you will revisit the other bosses that you fought. You will also need to use all the weapons you got to reach the end and there are 3 bosses at the end that are tough. You will also face Ganon as the final Boss so get ready.

Walk into the centre of the room that you are in that has lava and then go over the first bridge to the left. Kill the Mobling and enter the door.

When inside, hookshot the right-hand skull on the first pole and then grapple up to the pole. Use the Deku Leaf to float over to the farthest lava platform and grapple up to the far ledge and through the door.

It’s the first boss you met at Dragon Roost Island so kill him as you did before. Just use the Grappling Hook to hook onto Valoo’s tail and swing to the other side. Repeat this 3 times and then when you can reach his eye, keep hitting it until it dies. Watch out for the fire it breathes and when it traps you. Remember that you can only use the items you had at that time.

When you are back at the lava room, take the bridge that’s is next to the first one and again kill the mobling and enter the door. You can tell if it’s the right one as it will have vines.

Get to the first platform and then go towards the centre and then float across to the first moving platform. Float to the lower moving ledge and when the ledge is at it’s highest, use the Deku Leaf to float across to the far ledge and go through the door.

Kill the second boss by using the boomerang to cut off all the vines attached to the flower and then use your sword to attack the central flower. Avoid the vines it throws at you and repeat the process until it dies.

Go through the next door and make your way to the other side and kill the Earth Boss by reflecting the light in the beams and then throwing the boss into the spikes and killing the mini ghosts. Avoid his attacks and then you will appear back into the central room.

Go through the next door and take out the wizard with Fire Arrows and then spring and use the Deku Leaf to float across the spikes. Spring through the torpedos and be sure that you stay in the middle so that you can continue. Then use your Hookshot to get onto the platform and enter the door.

Kill the shark like you did before. Hookshot the tip of his tongue when it appears and then use the sword to hit it. Repeat the process until he’s dead and avoid the smaller sharks.

Go through the final door and forward roll to avoid the caskets. Petrify 2 ChuChus and then go through the right hand door. Remember the sequence and then go through the left hand door and use your boomerang to light the lanterns in the same order.

Go back to the chandelier room and read the tablet. Jump down the hole. Kill the Phantom Ganon by bouncing the light balls back at him and whatever the hilt points to, go through that door. Get the Light Arrows. Go through the final door and fire the Light Arrows you got at the Phantom Ganon. When he is dead, collect his sword and smash the big wall. Go up the stairs and kill the enemies as you go. Before you enter the door, save and get ready for the 3 bosses.

Puppet Ganon- Equip the Boomerang and use it to cut off the puppet cords on the boss. This makes it easier to hit the orb as he will be slower. Now aim a light arrow at the shining orb and keep repeating the process to reach the next Ganon.

When you see the spider, pull the C-Stick back so that you will be able to see it’s reflection in the mirror above. When it stops, position yourself so that you will be able to fire a light arrow at its orb. When it falls, quickly fire a light arrow at the orb and you will probably only get 1 shot at it before it goes back above so be quick. Keep repeating the process until its dead.

Caterpillar Ganon- This is probably the hardest boss out of all 3 of them and maybe the hardest in the game. Stay back and simply fire a light arrow at the caterpillar and keep repeating until its dead. Stay well back from it as it may bump into you. Every time you hit the orb, it gets faster and faster so you need to be quicker.

After killing all 3 bosses, climb the red rope and grapple to the next level. Collect the power ups and catch a fairy in a bottle you have since if you die, you will be restored. Go to the outside edge of the platform you are on and grapple. Blow up the cauldron with bombs and then use the Hookshot to get to the top. Now equip the Arrows and save your game. Now get ready for the final battle and make sure your health is full. Now enter.

Ganondorf- The Final Boss

As soon as you start, position yourself so that Ganon is right between you and Zelda. She will start firing arrows at him. Dodge his attacks and make sure that Ganondorf is still between you. When Zelda gets knocked out, dodge his attacks and when he jumps out at you, press A when it’s flashing to hit him. Keep repeating this until Zelda awakens. Again be sure that Ganondorf is between you and Zelda and when she starts firing arrows raise your shield and direct the arrows towards Ganondorf. Now just use the A button to avoid his attack when he jumps and you’ll hit him and defeat him. Well done.

Thanks for reading my walkthrough. I hope I helped you through the monstrous adventures within the Wind Waker and made beating the game a whole lot easier. Congratulations.

|BOSSES|

BOSS #1: QUEEN GOHMA
Location: Dragon Roost Cavern
Your first Boss encounter isn't too tough of a one. Gohma is protected by a hard shell, so she is immune to your Sword. Avoid her claw attacks, look up, and latch onto Valoo's tail using the Grappling Hook. Swing back and forth a few times, then fly off and land safely. A chunk of rock will fall and damage Gohma's shell. Do this twice more to smash the shell. Now, use the Grappling Hook on Gohma's eye to stun her and make her crash down. Attck the eye until she gets back up. Do this again, and keep attacking until she is defeated.

BOSS #2: KALLE DEMOS
Location: Forest Haven
The second Boss is a bit trickier than Gohma. Kalle Demos is a giant plant. Avoid the thing's attacks, and use the Boomerang to attack the vines Kalle Demos is hanging from. With all sixteen vines destroyed, Kalle Demos will reveal its weak spot. Stay at a distance and use the Boomerang to hit the core. Kalle Demos will grow its vines back, so repeat the process until it dies. If you need health, cut down the grass around the room.

BOSS #3: GOHDAN
Location: Tower of the Gods
This Boss is similar to Bongo-Bongo from Ocarina of Time, only the arena is steady this time. Avoid being knocked off the arena, or the electric floor will hurt you. The hands can attack you in various different ways, mostly trying to push you onto the electric floor. Fire three Arrows into the eye on one hand. Now, do the same for the other hand. Gohdan's head will breathe out fire, so avoid that. Shoot each eye on her head three times, and she will fall to the ground. Throw a Bomb into her mouth (quickly) to hurt her. Do the whole thign twice more. This means you need at least 36 Arrows and three Bombs to win. Should you run out of Arrows, Gohdan will produce ten more, which you can pick up.

BOSS #4: PHANTOM GANON I
Location: Forsaken Fortress
Phantom Ganon will sneak up behind you - turn around and strike quickly. If he fires an energy ball, use the Master Sword to play tennis with it (seriously!) until it hits him, then attack while he is stunned. He may take a while to beat, but he's a relatively simple Boss.

BOSS #5: HELMAROC KING
Location: Forsaken Fortress
Finally, we get to battle face-to-beak with this kidnapper! Avoid his gust attacks (or rather, avoid the spikes and try to push against the wind), and watch out for him walking toward you. When this happens, dodge his beak attack, and hit it with the Skull Hammer. After doing this a few times, the mask will come off, revealing his face. Again, dodge the peck attack, and use the Skull Hammer or the Master Sword to damage him. Eventually, he will die.

BOSS #6: CYCLOS
Location: Tornado
This is an optional Boss, and he's well worth fighting. Cyclos will appear when you sail into a giant Tornado at sea. Hit him three times with Arrows and you'll earn the amazing Ballad of Gales.

BOSS #7: JALHALLA
Location: Earth Temple
Ever fought the third Boss in Luigi's Mansion? This is similar to that. Stand in a column of light and use the Mirror Shield to reflect it onto Jalhalla. He will be dazed, so pick him up and throw him into the spikes. He will explode into around fifteen Poes. Kill as many as you can before they reform into Jalhalla. Keep doing this until all the Poes are dead. Jalhalla can breathe fire (similar to Gohdan's attack), and he can also possess you when he turns purple - if he gets you, run into the spikes to exorcise yourself.

BOSS #8: MOLGERA
Location: Wind Temple
This is one strange Boss. Anyway, avoid the sandstorm which will suck you in. Use the Hookshot to lock onto his tongue when it appears. Slash the tongue with the Master Sword until Molgera breaks free. Molgera will unleash smaller enemies for you to deal with, so Hookshot them and kill them. Molgera can use surprise attacks, so be very careful and keep moving.

BOSSES #9, #10, #11 AND #12: GOHMA, KALLE DEMOS, JALHALLA AND MOLGERA AGAIN!
Location: Ganon's Fortress
Don't worry - you won't be fighting them all at once. Simply complete the tasks to reach them, and defeat them again. They are no stronger than they were last time.

BOSS #12: PHANTOM GANON II
Location: Ganon's Fortress
Almost the same as last time, only you can't deflect the energy ball this time...problem. Use the same strategy as last time, adapting to this little alteration, and you'll win.

BOSS #13: PHANTOM GANON III
Location: Ganon's Fortress
Him again? This time, though, simply fire a Light Arrow into him. He's gone. For good. Now, pick up his sword and use it to bust through the next door.

BOSS #14: PUPPET GANON
Location: Ganon's Fortress
Ganondorf has a few Bosses here, doesn't he? Well, on with the seventh one...Use the Boomerang to cut the strings. Use the Bow to attack the orb on his tail with a Light Arrow. Kill any Keese that appear, and keep attacking the orb until you have hit it three times.
PG will become a giant spider, so avoid him when he jumps and crashes back down. Hit the orb three more times. When PG beocmes a snake, avoid his attacks (not easy) and try to hit the orb three more times. Victory!

BOSS #15: GANONDORF
Location: Ganon's Fortress
Here he is...the King of Evil himself! Talk to Zelda to learn a strategy - stand so that Ganondorf is between the two of you, and use the Mirror Shield. When Zelda stuns him, use the Leaping Slash to hurt him. Eventually, he will knock Zelda out cold. Use the Parry when Ganondorf uses his triple-hit sword attack, and attack even more while you have the chance. When Zelda wakes up, stand so that Ganondorf is in front of you and Zelda is beside Ganondorf. When Zelda fires, quickly raise the Mirror Shield so that the Light Arrow hits Ganondorf. Land the final blow on the King of Evil, which involves ramming the Master Sword into his skull (yes, very nasty!), and he is defeated. Well done!
