Start by going to "Create-A-Moveset". Then Go to "Auto-Setting", and then to "Superstars". After the actual superstars, there should be a lot of initials and numbers. You should now be confused =)...But here's my guide to which number and initials are for which superstar who AREN'T in the game...Yes, that DOES include the great WCW stars and other legends. The basic pattern is the last TWO letters are the initials of that wrestler's name. Easy..

Career Mode
In the career mode you take your superstar through a whole year in an attempt to win a belt and take part at wrestlemania. What belt your superstar can fight for depends on your superstar points, the higher then the better the belt you are entitled to challenge for.
Winning matches earns you money which you can use to purchase extras such as legends, moves, outfits etc. Also you earn superstar points from matches.
You don't have to win all matches but to improve on your points and earn money and challenge for the titles you really need to win most of your matches.

Stat points

Each character has stat points that affect their ring performance vastly. Have more use in season mode as you can improve them.

STRENGTH: Increasing this increases the damage amount to opponents from all your moves.

SUBMISSION: This increases the length of time you can hold a "contest"
submission move. Equal to number of seconds it will be held. Also contributes to effectiveness of button presses during submissions.

ENDURANCE: The amount of damage you can Take. Increasing this means that
if a move hits you, the damage will be less than before.

TECHNIQUE: Your ability to avoid moves. The higher this rating is, the earlier you can press a defense button and reverse a move successfully.

SPEED: This controls a lot. It controls the rate at which you walk, run, climb turnbuckles and cages, and even how quickly you get to your feet after recovering from a move.

OVR: Overall rating.

SP: Superstar points. How popular a character is. You get this by winning matches and certain events in season mode. It can be lost as well, so be careful. Talking to other wrestlers backstage can increase/decrease this too.
