Retro Game Walkthroughs for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PlayStation 2)
Submitted By: The walkthrough god
Hello. This is my second chapter in my long walkthrough(if you don't know what i'm talkng about, read my other walkthrough).

Mall shotout:

Tapir snout,anyone?Er...anyway...another favor to porform, this time involving meet a courier at the mall.Saunds simple enough. But to be on the safe side, stop by the nearby AmmoNation first and pick up an Ingram Mac 10.When you get to the mall, head up the escalators to meet your contact who is,of couse,French.Sadley, the deal is interrupted by a load of gendarns, and his scrapers. He heads right- in the direction of the nipy little bike around the corner-if you so disired, you could destroy the bike, cuutting off his escape route. If you deside to chase him down, ignore the other bike placed tempitingly in your path and carjack something a bit sturdier-at this stage bikes are a little too dificult to control.Do whatever it takes to kill him-knock him off then reverce over kim;pull up alongside and blast him with the Ingram, whatever, then pick up the guidance chips and burn rubber back to the Marina for your £500 reword.

Guardian angels:

Once again going to the Marina, you are told there's a nice bit of hardware secreted away in a multistory carpark,it's got your name written all over it.Wken you get there, you'll find both the Rugar Assult Rifle and-yes!-Lance.Next stop is a back ally where a deal is taking place, and you and Lance take point.Several cars full of Cubans will arrive,so let rip with the Ruger.Don't foget it's L1 to aim,not R1,and run down the stairs to make life easier, and to be closer to the biker.Ah yes,the biker. After killing all the Cubans without letting Macardo Diaz and Lance die,of couse, two guys on sanchez bikes nip in and steal the money Diaz kills one of them, but the other one escapes, so run up and get to the bloodied bike and give chase. You have to be quick, though. If you let them go through the internal alleyways, you will fail the mission. Do your bet to keep up with them find whatever uzi-equivalent weapon you've got, until you kill him. Pick up the suitcase and return it to Diaz for his undying gratitude and £1,000.

The chase:

You've got a new boss in the form of Diaz-follow the D on your map to Starfish Island, and his palatial estate.Somebody's screwed him out three percent, and it's up to you to find out where the cach is stashed.Follow the pink marker pilfering Diaz's Infernus if the whim takes you, untill you reach the thief's apartment block.Cheack his window when prompted, then run after him to the roof. It's a good idea to scout this route out before activating the last cheackpoint,to make sure you know where all the ramps and planks are.Theres a puny Faggio scooter waiting for you at the end-you can't park a fast car in advance, because when you get back to this spot it'll have disappered.Basicly,he huns across the rooftops, stopping to detonate some fuel barrels about three quarters of the way along(tread carefully to avoid being set on fire),then he jumps off in the end, gets in his BF Injection, then you need to chase him down to a big house in Prawn Island.Stay far enough back so that you're out of range of his rifle, but don't lose track of him.All you have to do is sait untill he runs inside to pick up your £1,000.Anothor job sucessfully completed and anothor very happy boss.

Phnom penh '86:

Despite the confusing name, the mission is pretty straightforward, and is a hell of a lot of fun. Lance flies a chopper, you hang out of the side and machine gun gangasters around their sunny villas.

You'll take on little groups of them, one at a time, and neither ammo nor the copter's health shoudl run out. Once you've cleared enough of them out, youll have to run in on foot and take out half a dozen or so more hoodlums - not much of a challenge with that beast of a gun. Run to the roof, pick up the cash, and you'll be airlifted out and given $2,000. You'll also get a call from the Colonel asking for your help, but most intriguingly of all, you'll get a storm warning stating that the bridges to the mainland are now open.

The fastest boat:

Diaz wants you to go to the newly opened mainland and steal a powerboat for him. It's a simple mission, complicated only by the fact that the boatyard is crawling with hoodlums. On the way there, check out a little building oppoosite the enormous docked ship for some useful body armour. The best way to deal with these punks is to drive straight in, hopefully running one or two of htem down, then diving out and running into the building in the middle. There are three workers with various tools in there who'll have a pop, but killing them increases your wanted rating, so its your call. Activate the switch by walking up to the pink thingy, which lowers the boat inot the water and activates more hoodlums who run in towards you. Now you've got a machine gun you can pretty much just hold down o and take them all down with a minimum of aiming. Get in the boat and head straight for the marker - its very close, and whatever wanted rating you have when you reach it will disappear. A pretty easy $4,000.

Supply and demand:

Again, it's from Diaz;and again,it involves that powerboat.First you need to race four other boats to make a deal.Insted of folling the others around to the right of the island, which leads to seris of tight turns, head around to the left and cut back in,saving time and trouble. After you get to the yacht,Lance takes over the controls and you have to defend your boat from the others that are chaseing you.Destroy the boats behind you, then the helecoptor, then the gunmen on the jetty(follishly loitering around explosive barrels)and, lastly, one more boat up ahead to complete Diaz's last mission and a whopping £10,000.

You get:

Tracksuit outfit delivered to Jackspot in Downtown.

Encouraging,non-specific phone call from Lance.

Thus concludes section 2.
