Retro Game Walkthroughs for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (PlayStation 2)

BOSS SURVIVAL IN THE TWO TOWERS
OK, here's my fourth walkthrough and this time it's not an MGS
one!
BOSS No 1- Ringwraiths- Amon Sul
If you follow this part correctley, you could very well come out
of Amon Sul with a perfect rating!
When the Wraiths are attacking you, press the square button
repeatedley and then counter with either an exellent combination
or simply a combination of feirce attacks. This will work when
fighting only one
Ringwraith but when there's two, here's what you should do:
Let one of the Wraiths attack Frodo while you deal with the
other in the same way as you delt with one Wraith. Dont worry,
if you're quick enough, Frodo won't die but keep in mind you'll
have to move the Wraiths attention towards you to get him off
Frodo.
BOSS No 2- The Watcher in the Water- The Gates of Moria
this boss is quite simple really, just keep pressing square
until all three tenticals have hit you then run in the water and
chop off one of them. Now it's head will show get your bow (Or
Axe if you're Gimli) and shoot the monsters head. Remember to
hold the triangle button though, to give your attack some
strength, do this about 6 times and The Wathcer will die.
BOSS No 3- Cave Troll- Balin's Tomb
keep hitting the troll with your sword or axe repeatedley. If
done correctley the Cave troll will not be able to hit you with
it's club. After a while you will be on a stone ledge.
Firstley, take out the orc advancing twoards you and then it's
time to use your melee weapon. Keep the triangle button pressed
until the analoughe shakes then hit him, but after that you'll
have to move unless you want hit by the huge chain. The best
time to try and hit the troll is when the chain is wrapped
around one of the pillers. It will then break the pillar, you
should run after this because it attacks fairly quick after that
in it's rage.
Boss No 4- Lurtz- Amon Hen
The leader of Saruman's Uruk-Hai is actually pretty easy! when
he is firing arrows wait until he has fired three then hit him
with one of your own (or an axe). Keep doing this and
eventuallty he will come at you with a sharp metal thing (Well,
do you have a name for it? It's certanly not a sword!). Make him
chase you until he hit's a statue and then hit him with a strong
shot of your feirce attack. keep doing this and you'll kill
Lurtz!
There are no more "Boss"'s as such but look out for my complete
walkthrough to the two towers that I'll write soon.

This is the official game for the great movie the lord of the rings two towers.the second in the trilogy.the story is this.the armies of sauron the traitor are moving on the land of rohan and three heroes start the journey against it

Chapter two-Characters

aragorn-the man ranger is undoubtley the best character in the game and fights exactly the same as isildur.his original weapon is the sword and he has a bow and arrow with 30 arrows.he's a blend of power and speed so this helps make him a worthy opponent in battle for any challenger.
Legolas-the elf is undoubtley speedy but maybe not as strong as the others but with the ammo of 60 arrows and two swords he is a great fighter.
Gimli-gimli is definetly the strongest of the characters but also the slowest.but with strong axes to fight with and shoot with this makes him a slow but powerful warrior

Chapter III-Walkthrough

this is it time for the story missions but firstly the missions are from the first film as aragorn is telling about the journeys from the fellowship of the ring so let's get started.
prologue
Character:isildur
location:mordor
description:the scene at the very beginning of the trilogy showing sauron in power with the ring and the great battle.
After the cut-scene start killing the orcs using your speed attacks remembering to block when they do a spinning attack as it can knock you down and lower alot of health.keep doing this till a cut-scene shows the elves shooting some new enemies.now start hacking at the sheilded enemies with the fierce attacks to break the sheild then dispose of them however you like but do it quickly.now a cut-scene will show the volcano erupting.continu the battle against the orcs avoiding the molten rocks falling down from the sky.after a while the last cut-scene comes in showing ho the ring was taken from sauron and lost.mission complete

Start by going after the nazgul and using fierce attacks with your fire stick which is the only way to kill them if the fire goes out go to the big fire in the middle and press triangle to get more.after the first two are dead more will appear remember to be quick as some will make a move to kill frodo.then a cut-scene shows frodo putting on the ring and getting stabbbed big mistake.start hacking at the nazgul remembering to keep an eye on frodo after the last one is dead the cut-scene kicks in ending the mission.
Gates of moria

After the cut-scene start by going down the hill and kill the orcs here.then continue down the path fighting the groups of orcs popping out of the caves eventually along the path a cut-scene will show an orc sneaking up on your partner and you saving him.now take out the snipers first then the ground forces.now head right and the cut-scene interrupts.now take the snipers out and the orcs that run at you and make your way along to the next area killing the orcs that climb the cliff.continue along the path and kill all in your way then kill the archers. and continue fighting.go to the left and kill more archers.continue till you get to a swamp continue killing the orcs in the water and shoot any archers continue fighting till you get to a big ambush involving alot of archers.snipe them out avoiding getting hit as it will make this part alot harder.now head to the lake for the first boos fight take a look at the boss strategies part of this walkthrough to find a way to beat him.after the watcher squid is dead you are done well done.
Balins tomb

Description:inside the tomb of balin fighting the small army of goblins
as you start hack at the group of orcs.more and more come so use as many combos as you can as this is the great oppurtunity to get a perfect rating.contnue fighting the swarms till the troll comes for details on how to win this long fight go to boss strategies.after that mission done
