Helms deep-Hornburg courtyard

description:the army have breached the defences and are attacking the last defence in the hornburg courtyard.
start by unleashing combos as quickly as possible to wipe out the huge wave of orcs.keep fighting until a cut-scene shows your freind in trouble with a group of uruk-hai.now look for the stairs and head up and run along the wall ignoring the orcs who challenge you as your freinds health will be going down reasonably fast so go quick.keep heading to the right till you reach him.kill all the uruk-hai including a captain.Now once that is done a cut-scene will show gimli in trouble with a large group of uruk-hai.hurry back the way you came and head down to the battle.now start sword swinging.continue fighting till you hear somebody yell 'archers on the wall',you can tell if you see any fire arrows hitting the gate but as soon as you hear the message head to the stairs and hurry up.start shooting the archers making your way to the left to find all the archers when you reach the end of the wall they are gone and all killed.now head back and continue fighting.Now there will be berzerger and uruk-hai so look for health potions in this battle and use strong combos keep going till the two trolls appear in the cut-scene.
now head to the trolls and just slash silly forgetting about blocking and orcs and uruk-hai just focus your sword attacks on the trolls but remember to do it quickly as the gate takes alot of damage in this part.once they drop the final cut-scene kicks in showing the end of the helms deep battle.well done!the strory ain't over yet though

Bonus mission:tower of orthanc

characters:isildur,aragorn,legolas and gimli
location:tower of orthanc
there isn't really anything i can say to help but this mission must be done first by a normal character then the isildur version is unlocked but the missions are the same.this is really a survival mission where you must survive twenty floors of orcs,archers,uruk-hai,trolls and more.
the best advice is block at the beginnning at each floor and fight slowly and carefully.
once the isildur mission is complete the game is over.congrats you have completed the lord of the rings the two towers.

Chapter IV-boss strategies

The Watcher/squid.
mission:gates of moria
difficulty;*
this boss is simple.when the fight starts go straight to the water.now press and keep holding block while his arms are hitting.after this is arms will go straight so use your fierce attack(triangle) to cut the arm off.Now the watcher will rise from the water and roar.Shoot an arrow or axe at him to do some damage.repeat this process to win the fight.
Cave Troll
mission:balins tomb
difficulty:*
the first stage is easy just attack with fierce attacks and jump back.ignore all the orcs and repeat this process till the cut-scene interrupts to go to the next part of the fight.in this next part hide behind apillar and kill the attacking orc.now wait for the troll to attck the pillar then jump out and attack with your arrows.repaet his process remembering to keep an eye open for orcs keep going till the troll drops.

once the fight starts run to the right dodging the arrows and kill the uruk-hai soldier.now quickly unleash arrows on his sorry hide.eventually once you've done enough damage he gets his sword.now in this part go to the right and kill the last helper.when he approaches run and lure him to a statue and get him to get his sword stuck now let loose with combos or use a charged attack keep doing this procees to beat him.if you run out of statues then kick him and attack with a fierce attack.but it is best if you do this only in the emergency of running out of the statues.
Warg leader
mission:gap of rohan
difficulty:*
once you start he will charge right at you so block this and no damage will come to you.keep blocking his charges and if backup arrives for him then kill them with arrows.now when he finally poses and stands up attack with a charged attcak and repeat all this to beat him.
Catapult
mission;breached wall
difficulty:***
once you start kill all the enemies as quickly as possible then use your charged attack on the wooden sheild bit at the side.once it breaks do the same to the other ones.once all three are broken the catapult will be broken.all bosses are now beaten.

From Level 1 to Level 5:
Level 1; w/ Isildur:
The first level is when you are in the First Battle of Middle Earth, there is no mission to this first bit, it is just to get the feel of the game, you go around killing as many orcs as you can using what the game tells you to press. Quite Simple really.
Level 2; w/ Aragorn:
You are at the Weathertop, and Black Riders are coming to get Frodo, you have to protect him, by swiping through the fire to set your weapon alight, you then keep hitting them until the set on fire, you keep hitting them until the then run away. If your weapon goes out just swipe through the fire again, there is about 5 to defeat. Frodo gets stabbed by a Rider, you then have to stay very close to Frodo setting fire to any Rider that comes near. When you defeat them all, you are done!
Level 3; w/ Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli:
You are trying to find a path through to the Mines of Moria, you are with Gimli, unless you are Gimli then you are with Aragorn. You Just follow the snow path defeating any Orcs you come across, Watch out for the cliffs, orcs offen break through the cliffs in an attempt of an Ambush. Collect as many Red and Green Potions, and make sure you refill your arrows or throwing axes by killing the Arrow Orcs.
Finally you get to the Lake, kill all the Orcs, (watch out for the ones that pop out of the water) then when you reach the end you have a kind of boss to contend with. It is the Water Watcher. He stays underwater except for three legs, he attempts to whip you with them. You must keep pressing parry until all the legs have whipped you, they dangle in the air confused, you must then chop off the last one that hit you (last because you have more time to chop off that one) His head then bobs out of the water. You must quickly fire an arrow at his head. Do this process several times until it dies. You are then finished.
Level 4; Balins Tomb:
You are trapped inside a tomb, you must then kill orcs repetidly, keep refilling yourself with potions, until the cave troll appears. You must run away from him, until he comes to you, strike him about 3 times and run away again before he gets the chance to hit you, wait till he comes to you again and hit him another 3 times. Remember to keep getting potions. Keep doing this until he replaces his club for a chain. You automatically jump up onto a ledge. Hide bhind one of the pillars. When he whips the chain at you, hopefully hitting the pillar, not you. Jump out from behind and fire a couple of arrows at him, hide behind the pillar again. Repeat this until he destroys the pillar. Run to the next pillar and do the same. Beware, orcs will fight you, only a few of them but be sure to kill them whilst behind the pillar. You will repeat all that until the troll dies. You are done.
Level 5; Amon Hen:
You are in the woods with loads of Uruk hai coming at you. You have to kill 60 of them in the time limit, whilst following the pathway. Use the Rocks as covere from archers, and be sure to pick up potions on your way. Uruk hai are strong with thick armour. Once you have killed 60 Uruk hai and got to the end of the path. You will have to kill their leader.
He is incredibly strong. You must dodge his flaming arrows whilst firing your own at him, other Uruk hai will come to support him, so kill them aswell. Keep going until he picks up a weapon. You then have to get behing one of the statues and parry like crazy until he gets his weapon stuck in the statue, attack him as fiercely as you can until he breaks free. Run behind another pillar and do the same until he dies.
