THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: MAJORA’S MASK – MONEY TROUBLES SOLVED

Money may have been abundant in previous Zelda games, but not any
more. One of the only infuriating things about Majora’s Mask is
the fact that by the time you have filled up your wallet, it’s
time to return to Day One and lose it all. And how many of us can
be bothered with the Bank system?
So, I have searched throughout Termina for guaranteed ways of
earning money fast! You’ll be loaded before you can say “Tingle,
Tingle Kooloo-Limpah”.

* Long Silence *

Well, anyway….

CLOCK TOWN:
Enter the Bomber’s secret hideout and swim down the left tunnel.
Watch out for skulltulas. You find a bombable wall, which hides a
tasty 100 rupees.

Talk to Anju at about 1:00 and you’ll get a room key. Use it to
get into the second room upstairs where you’ll find a
complimentary 100 rupees. I prefer mints on the pillows…

On the third night, go into the ‘employees only’ room in the inn
and you’ll find another 100 rupees.

Wearing the bunny hood, jump over the east Clock Town gate onto
the Honey and Darling’s sign, then onto the ledge ahead. Follow
the ledge and you’ll find ANOTHER 100 rupees.

After you’ve got the heart piece from the Clock Time archery
gallery, get a perfect score to receive a cash prize.

Complete the postman’s challenge on the evening of day one and
two (wear the bunny hood for a SLIGHT advantage) to win 50
rupees.

Play the lottery each night, make a note of each number and
return to Day One. Now you can use those numbers (they’ll be the
same each time) and win every day!

There’s a box in the laundry pool that coughs up 5 rupees when
you reduce it to firewood. It also regenerates every time you go
in there. Handy!

Hookshot your way up to the chest above the southern market stall
and the chest on the finished tower to find more cash.

Jump attack the gong in the Sword School to receive a few
rupees.

TERMINA FIELD:
The Takkuri bird is the most obvious, but most dangerous source
of cash found here. Every time you hit it, rupees will fall to
the ground. Grab them if you wish but concentrate on finishing
the bird off. Do that and you’ll find a whopping 200 rupees.

Mow down the larger Dodongos while riding Epona and you’ll
receive 50 rupees for your trouble. Near one of the mushrooms
rocks nearby will be a hole, down which you’ll find a couple more
large Dodongos. You know the drill!

Below the north Clock Town entrance will be a song etched out of
the wall. Play it to receive money. You can do this every day and
night.

As you can see on the map, there are three chests in Termina
Field. Each one contains twenty rupees.

MISC.
In Gerudo Fortress is a room with four guards and a chest. Use
the stone mask to get 100 rupees.

In Ikana Canyon, shoot down a blue bubble with a light arrow for
fifty rupees. Best thing about this? They regenerate!

In Ikana Castle, chop up the re-deads wearing either the
Captain’s Hat, the Garo Mask or the Gibdo Mask. That should
increase your income.

Complete the Deku Scrub Land Title Deed sequence to receive 200
rupees.

Complete the Beach Skulltula House on the second or third day to
receive more cash.

Camera opportunities – the swamp shop guy will pay five rupees
for any photos of the swamp. The fisherman in the beach shop will
pay five rupees for a picture of a Gerudo and one of the Zoras at
the very top of Zora hall will pay five rupees for a photo of
Lulu (Perverts!).

Sell the gold dust to the Mountain Smithy for 40 rupees or to the
Curiosity Shop guy for a phenomenal 300 rupees.

Drop a bug on a small patch of dirt (the ones you can plant beans
in) to get more cash.

Follow the river in Ikana Canyon to the left to find the secret
shrine. Inside are four sub-bosses. Destroy each for loads of
wonga.

Win 90 rupees by destroying all of the pots in Zora Cape at once.
Use either your Zora boomerangs or a powder keg.

So, now you have no excuse to be unable to afford anything in
Termina. Whether you are entering a competition, or retrieving
your stolen item from the Curiosity Shop, you’ll be able to pay
the price. And if you save up 5000 rupees in the bank, you’ll
receive a heart piece. Nice!
