All Gold Will Win: Nissan Z Concept (not available to buy)

IB-1 : Wet Road Circular Turning 1 : Corvette Z06

The wet conditions here mean you really need to concentrate on your acceleration away from the line. It is a good idea to use manual shifting to help combat this by shifting up at about 4500 rpm rather than at the red line. Keep tight in to the kerb all the way round. when you reach 92kph hold that speed and you should be able to go around holding the tightest line (if on manual gears it is easiest to hold around 90kph by shifting to 4th and using full throttle, as the low revs and turning mean that you won't accelerate.). When you get to 3/4 of the way around the last lap, hit full throttle to the line.

IB-2: Wet Road Circular Turning 2 : Corvette Z06

Very Similar to IB-1. The wider radius means that you can go faster. the optimum speed here is about kph. keep tight to the kerb, and go to full throttle about 3/4 of the way around the final lap.

IB-3 : Cornering From limit Braking 1: Honda S2000 Type V

Stay on the lefthand side, and brake and turn in about halfway between the 100m and 50m markers. Brake so that you are at top revs in 2nd gear. Drive the first two corners in one smooth arc, getting as close to the second apex as possible. Ease off the accelerator as you change direction for the 3rd bend. Accelerate through bend 3 making sure the tail of the car doesn't drift at all. Hug the apexes of the last two bends but keep accelerating. Stay to the right out of the final corner.

IB-4: Cornering From Limit Breaking 2: Corvette Z06

There is a shadow from a foot bridge after the 100m sign. Break Hard just before you pass over this, and turn in as the car gets down to second gear. Apply a little pressure to the accelerator as you round the corner to keep the car in high revs in 1st, or just into second gear. Get back on the power after the second apex smoothly as you will wheelspin otherwise due to the low speed.Allow the car to move out to the left as you exit, but take care to avoid the wall.

IB-5: Accelerating Whilst Turning and Transferring Weight: RUF 3400S

This test has a standing start so control the revs so they stay out of the red for the best getaway. Hug the inside through the tunnel and stay on the right down to the chicane. begin to turn LATE and brake simultaneously, down to high 2nd gear. reach the apex and stay left for the best line out of the cicane. Nudge the breaks a bit more, and get tight to the apex, applying gentle throttle so the car doesn't drop to 1st gear. Accelerate as you pass the apex, using all of the road. Stay all the way to the left til the finish line.

IB-6: High Speed Slalom 1 ASM & TCS ON: RUF RGT

This is all about getting a smooth rythm going. Use the kerb but be very careful not to hit the gravel as this will loose your speed. Aim to apex each bend as you pass the cone. If you get slightly wide then ease off the accelerator as you apex the next bend, but bear in mind that for a gold standard run you shouldn't need to deccelerate at all.

IB-7: High Speed Slalom 3 ASM & TCS OFF: RUF RGT

If you managed a good time on the last test then this isn't much different. The lack of driver aids means that you might need to let off the accelerator for a moment as you change direction between turns. Otherwise, procede as before.

IB-8: License Test: Honda NSX Type S-Zero

Move to the right along the straight, and keep at full speed through the first part of the turn to the left. Brake about half way round the first part of the bend, and let of the steering a bit so you don't spin. brake down to about 120kph and turn the second part of the corner tight to the apex. Stay pretty much flat out for the second bend, and don't be afraid to cut the kerb as the gravel doesn't really slow you down. (Keep two wheels on the track!). Let off the accelerator as you change direction between each of the next two curves, but stay flat out apart from that. cut the kerb as much as you can and then stay left up to the finish.

All Gold Will Win: Aston Martin Vanquish V12

IA-1 : High Speed Sequential Corners 1 : Lancer Evo VI Rally
Car

Hug the left wall and turn in as you go under the 50M board. You
can keep on flat out provided you get as tight as possible to the
inside, using as much kerb as you can. The next 's' bend can be
taken flat out, but take a smooth line through, turning very
gently, else the car will drift, which scrubs off speed. The next
long corner is very important, as the amount of speed you carry
through determines the time you will get. turn and brake under
the 100M board, down to 5th and 170Kph. Hug the first kerb and
then go full throttle, allowing the car to drift to the outside.
Hug the kerb again for the next one and then run flat out through
the next set of gentle bends. The final corner is underneath a
flyover, nudge the brakes as you pass under the support for the
flyover, and keep tight to the inside (Do not rub the barrier
though!). flat out to the finish.

IA-2: High Speed Sequential Corners 2 : Spoon S2000

This looks easier than it actually is! The car will kick in
towards the inside of the track at the start. Correct this and
get the car over to the far outside of the track. Go flat out all
the way through the 's'-bend, beware of the cones! Turn in as you
pass the end of the last set of black "Nismo" signs, and then hug
the kerbs. try not to steer too visciously so you don't loose too
much speed. Move to the left as you exit the bends, and run
STRAIGHT to the finish line (don't drive across the track.)

IA-3: High Speed Sequential Corners 3: Impreza Rally Car
Prototype

flat out through the first three curves. Brake to around 120Kph
for the bend into the tunnel and use as much kerb as possible.
When you get to the kerb go to full throttle, and use all of the
track. be careful not to touch the tunnel wall, but you will need
to get very close to it! dab the brake to get down to 105Kph and
accelerate hard throught the remainder of the corner, steering on
full lock. Get as close as you can to the left of the tunnel as
you exit, then hug the left hand side all the way to the
finish.

IA-4: Cornering from Limit Braking 3: Castrol Mugen NSX JGTC

Stay over to the left as you race down to the first bend. Hit the
brakes hard as you go under the 100m marker, and keep braking
until half way around the bend (hit the apex!) at which point get
back on the gas and move out towards the edge of the circuit.
move gently over to the right for the next corner, and turn in at
about 50m. Let off the throttle but don't brake, then accelerate
when you reach the apex of the first section. Flat out to the
finish.

IA-5: Corkscrews: Viper GTS

Head up the hill on the inside. as you reach the crest of the
hill move towards the outside and head for the tyre marks. Brake
as you reach the second crest and follow the tyre marks (It will
feel like you're going to leave the track, but don't worry, you
won't). Hit the first apex at about 70Kph, trying not to hit the
kerb as you're likely to spin, then accellerate out using all of
the kerb on the second apex. Dab the brakes to keep your speed at
about 150Kph around the final corner then accellerate to the
finish.

IA-6: High Speed Sequential Corners 4: Zonda C12

Dab the brakes and take the first bend at 140Kph. Get as far left
as possible without loosing control of the car, and slow a tiny
bit for the second, by releasing the throttle momentarily, and
hug the apex. Flat out down the long straight staying left.
That's it!

IA-7: Cornering From All Angles: Skyline GT-R V-Spec II

Beware of the lack of TCS! (Traction Control System) and ASM. Run
flat out through the long right hander. stop turning as the
corner ends, and aim to be in the middle of the track as you go
over the hill crest. this should set you up to apex the next
corner. Repeat this process through each of the corners, changing
steering direction as you cross the hill crest, whilst using
small throttle corrections to maintain a steady 180Kph (You
shouldn't really need to decellerate if you're doing this right).
Accelerate out of the final corner, and get as far right as
possible. Heave the anchors on as hard as possible just before
the 50m board, and turn in whilst braking to help scrub off some
speed. Round the hairpin at 80Kph, blipping the throttle. Go for
it when you are two-thirds of the way around the hairpin. Flat
out to the finish.

IA-8: International A License final test: Mine's Skyline
GT-R-N1-V

You need to hug the apex of each of these corners of decreasing
radius. Keep close to the kerbs, and try to get a quick blast of
acceleration in as you change direction between bends! Use gentle
throttle changes to round the 1st at 170Kph. You will need to
slow to 160Kph by the end. dab the brakes and enter the second at
around 135Kph. Release the throttle and touch the brakes to round
the third at 110Kph. Look out for the cones! The 4th corner needs
a speed of between 90-100Kph. Maintain this by dabbing the
throttle. The 5th corner should be taken at between 70 and 80Kph,
but try not to brake, as you're likely to spin. Ease off the
throttle instead. Take the 6th bend at about 50Kph, then cut the
final corner as much as possible and race to the finish! This
test will take a few attempts to get a good time on, as the beast
of a car gets quite unweildy at low speeds!
