Assassination Missions

At various points during the game you will get a phone call on
your cell phone, a short cut-scene later and a phone icon will
appear on your map and radar. This phone blip is the location
of a payphone that has an assassination job. There are five
assassination jobs altogether that payout $30,500 and are a part
of your 100% completion stats.
[1] Road Kill
0) Location - Ocean Beach
0) Payoff - $500
0) Brief - Kill the 'Pizza Boy' Carl Pearson before he makes 50
deliveries.
0) Preferred weapon - Uzi, Car
This assassination mission carries a time limit of how many
pizzas Carl has delivered; once he's delivered 50 pizzas you've
failed the mission. Get a bike (PCJ 600 preferably) and ride
towards him as fast as you can, once in view shoot him with your
Uzi. If you find shooting while on the bike a bit difficult get
as far in front of him as possible and get off your bike, as he
comes towards you aim and fire... bada bing! One dead pizza boy
with extra cheese!
or
Get a fast car and ram him off his bike... then reverse over
him... job done!
[2] Waste The Wife
0) Location - Vice Point
0) Payoff - $2,000
0) Brief - Dispose of Mrs Dawson in a car "accident"
0) Preferred Weapon - Car, Uzi
The target is Mrs Dawson; you'll find her leaving the jewellery
store in Vice Point. The aim is to follow her car and ram it
until it bursts into flames. When the car sets on fire a
message appears warning you that the car is about to blow,
retreat and receive a payoff of $2,000.
Hint: Using the advantage of drive-by helps the car to explode
much quicker...
[3] Autocide
0) Location - Washington
0) Payoff - $4,000
0) Brief - Eliminate five gang members scattered across town.
0) Preferred Weapon - Sniper Rifle, bazooka (if available), Uzi,
four wheeled vehicle or PCJ 600
A sniper rifle and Uzi are provided not far from the pay phone
(It is helpful if you already have a bazooka and Uzi, as these
are helpful on later targets; if not I suggest picking these up
first). Collect the weapons and head for the first target.
Target 1 - Mark Griffon: He's working on the advertising board
in Washington, (above your head) select your sniper rifle and
fire! Target one assassinated.
Target 2 - Dick Tanner: He'll be waiting for you in his DBP van
so approach slowly and don't get too close. Get out of the car
and let a bazooka rip straight for him parked up in the yard.
If you don't have a bazooka to hand, drive up to the yard
quickly and block him in. Lean out the window and blow him full
of lead drive-by style. He'll begin to ram his way out, keep on
the lead but if escapes follow him and continue the drive-by
punishment. Soon enough he'll either blow or stop and get out,
run over his behind and target 2 is done.
Target 3 - This assassination job targets both Marcus Hammond
and Franco Carter, you'll find them located near the jewellery
shop in Vice Point. Approach slowly as they'll try and flee,
before they get a chance sniper the tyres off of the truck. One
of them then tries to gun you down, shoot him with the sniper if
still in position or run him over. Follow the truck now and
take him out using the classic drive-by, quickly as he leads you
too far away from the next target, but if you've been quick on
the other targets, you should have enough time to spend.
Target 4 - Nick Kong: Found relaxing in Washington Beach on a
Tropic boat. No need to get wet though, just sniper him and
target 4 is sleeping with the fishes!
Target 5 - Charlie Dilson: Charlie can be found cruising
Washington on a PCJ 600. Ram him with any four wheeled vehicle
and then back up onto him for your payoff of $4,000. Or
alternatively drive along side him on a PCJ 600 and lean over
and shoot him classic and well used by now drive-by style.
[4] Check Out At The Check-In
0) Location - Escobar International Airport
0) Payoff - $8,000
0) Brief - Snipe the target and then collect and escape with the
briefcase and head to downtown Ammu-Nation.
0) Preferred Weapon - Sniper Rifle, fast car
First, collect the provided sniper rifle from behind the tree
plant by the side of the payphone. Get to the balcony and watch
the woman as she walks towards the target, don't get too close
as the spook metre will reach the top and you'll fail the
mission. She'll approach the target and point him out, take him
down with a bullet to the head and then run and collect the
briefcase. You'll now have a wanted level of 2 stars, plus the
company of the goons you stole the briefcase off.
Run out of the terminal and avoid the cops and goons, steal a
fast car and escape to Ammu-Nation. Along the way enter one of
the Pay 'n' Sprays in Little Haiti or Little Havana to get rid
of the wanted level, but you'll still be followed by the goons,
out run them and get to Downtown Ammu-Nation. Job done and a
nice little earner....
[5] Loose Ends
0) Location - Little Havana
0) Payoff - $16,000
0) Brief - Get to the roof of Cherry Popper Ice Cream building
and acquire the briefcase, then return it via helicopter to
Escobar International Airport.
0) Preferred Weapon - Sniper rifle, Uzi, shotgun, colt python,
bazooka (if available), helicopter
A quick way to complete this assassination is to use a
helicopter to climb to the opposite building of Cherry Popper
Ice Cream and land, get out and sniper the few goons located on
the rooftop, then land with your chopper on the roof, pick up
the briefcase and leave via any helicopter. This way is quick
and painless, but if you like the thrills of face to face combat
I suggest you do it this way.
Head through the gate and towards the car, take out the men past
the cars or just go all out and blow them up, next is a man
perched on the ledge, take him out with the sniper rifle and
then head on in. Now equip an Uzi or colt python and lock on to
a target and take them out, or alternatively, shoot the van with
a bazooka or high-powered weapon to take out many men at once.
Then head up the stairs in front of you as you entered to get an
advantage point to take out some more men. Use the sniper rifle
or colt python to do this. Hint: Aim for the many explosive
barrels to eliminate multiple guards at once.
When you feel its safe to continue head back down and then into
the space you cleared. Make your way to the back-left corner of
the compound to grab the body armour. Now go to the right side
and take to the rooftops via the stairs. Snipe off the various
enemies in the distance, not forgetting the man on the
billboard. Head towards the roof with the two large ice-cream
structures and up the next set of stairs, shoot the remaining
thugs and pick up the briefcase. Get into the helicopter and
head towards Escobar International Airport. Land on the helipad
and collect your payoff of a whopping $16,000
